This visit went great and I would highly recommend LensCrafters. I had an eye exam and bought glasses with no hassles. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. All my questions were answered. My old glasses were out of adjustment and an employee there was kind enough to fix that so they wouldnt be falling off even though I have new glasses being made for me. Location and parking were great also!

I didnt have the best experience the last time I went here which was quite a while ago. However, this time it was amazing. Our consultant took the time to get me the best price through my insurance. I will be getting the best progressive lenses for less than my previous glasses!! I am thrilled with my experience and hope they treat this consultant right as she is worth her more than her weight in gold! With 3 of us getting glasses there wasnt any wait time! My grandchildren got their glasses and then mine. New improvements made this a very pleasant experience.

Ive been going to this lenscrafters for years because the doctors and crew are amazing! I have super sensitive eyes, and they are all very patient with me, even if it takes a few times to get it right. Ive had great experiences with Dr. Cha and Dr. Cushing. Peggy is always on point with my contacts. Autumn helped me with frames, which I wear glasses every day, so I need to LOVE the frames. She was honest with which ones looked better and helped me find the shape I wanted. Overall great experience.

The lead optician went out of his way today to get us the best price. My experience with service at this store has always been impeccable. We have found nice frames. We like our doctor, too. The whole team works well. Appointments were easy to schedule and we received text reminders which always help.

I already had the jab and almost died from it now I still have to wear a mask?? is this your company policy? Im going somewhere else.thanks for the generic comment. I think alot of your market feels like me. theres no science behind the mask and its no longer the law. Walmart has really nice eyewear too. who would have thought that? just trying to give a comment not fill out a survey. its not a hospital. its weird. I hate seeing the mask. but I tolerate it. your whole company has Stockholm syndrome.I actually have a medical condition that makes it uncomfortable to breath with a mask on. but the masks are optional at 99% of businesses. so Im not wearing the little tag anymore.

From the second I walked in till it was time to leave, every employee was kind, courteous, friendly, and very helpful.

Associates in the store were lind of rude... One guy even said please be selective about the pair as you try on because we have to clean every pair after you put them on... And Im thinking... well, if Im gonna spend $500+ in your store, Ill try on as many pairs as Id like to! Not buying them here!

I came in looking for new glasses. Came in without an appt and Mark was very friendly and helpful. It was busy for a Saturday morning, but once I browsed he was able to answer my questions and give me his opinions on which looked the best on me, which was the first ones I chose. He did not try to up sell me, and was truly there to help me with my questions and get me with the right frames for my face. I will definitely recommend this Lens Crafters.

Although expensive, that factor contains all lens Crafters across the nation. Despite that fact, this location has very nice and helpful employees. The eye doctors here are very experienced and good with patients making them feel comfortable. The associates who work here have wonderful personalities and really want to help each one of their customers receive a great experience and pick out the right glasses specific to you. Overall, a nice place to go and all employees are friendly and welcoming.

Well, I usually have a really good experience here with the employees coming up to me as I look for glasses and offer to help me out with deciding. Unfortunately, this recent time, no one even gave me a glance. It wasnt that busy either. But, there I stood looking for glasses for 45 minutes because I just couldnt find the right ones to fit my face shape. Maybe it was just an off day for them, but I always go in there excited for the really impressive customer service they usually give.

Needed glasses right away, they helped me find a pair they could do in one day. In an hour and a half they had them ready.

The perscription I received from the doctor here seemed incorrect so I went back and had the glasses checked. The technician said the glasses were made correctly so I should get ther perscription rechecked, which is clearly gaurantee according to a sign on the doctors counter. The doctors receptionists happily scheduled me a recheck for a few weeks later. Then the day of the recheck appointment the practice owner called me and said she would not do my perscription recheck because I had not had the eye pressure check at my first appointment so she felt I was a difficult customer who would not be happy with anything they did for me. She said she is legally allowed to refuse to serve me as long a she did not charge my insurance so I could get my perscription somewhere else.I read very annoyed but the was nothing i could do. I could not get a new pair of glasses since the optician made them correctly. I wore these bad glasses for over 6 months until I could afford new ones. When I went to get an eye exam at another dr. It turns our Vernon lensecrafters doctors charged my insurance so I could not get another exam. They even charged for the part of the exam I didnt get! I think that is fraud. Good luck to you if you have any problems here

Best experience ever! The doctors are amazing, especially Dr. Cushing! The customer service and care is perfect!!!!!!!

Set up an appointment online. Got the confirmation email and text for 2:30. I was in the store by 2:10 checking out glasses. Checked in at the desk at 2:20 and was told No, you were supposed to be here for 2:00. I showed them the confirmation email from their office that said 2:30. They werent apologetic at all - and said they couldnt help me until 3:15 and even then Id have to be squeezed in. This store isnt in a mall, its stand alone and it was snowing out. I said no, my appointment was for 2:30. What should I do for 45 minutes? I also wondered, if they couldnt keep a schedule straight, how would they keep my records straight. Two years ago they ordered me contacts, and all but one box came in. It took another month to get the one box. I left.

I called to ask if they take VSP, the vision portion of my employers insurance. They said yes. According to VSP, eye exams are free so I made an appointment with LensCrafters. When I got there I began filling out papers and a section said Id be responsible for approx 50% of the eye exam bill! I said to the lady that VSP said it would pay for 100%. To that, the lady responded that they accept VSP but they are not in-network!!! Now, when you call to ask if they take VSP and they say yes, isnt it implied that theyre in-network??? Of course it does...no ifs, ands or buts. Well, I expressed to them that this wasnt right to do to people and I walked out. This is not right to me. I wasted part of my day off and the time it took to schedule that appointment, and the time it took for me to write this. I think VSP might like to know, too. Ive gone there for years, but never again.Update: I relented and made an appt for an eye exam with Oculus at LensCrafters for Jan 5, 2021. I made the appt about 2-weeks earlier. My insurance, United Healthcare, was cleared for payment. As I was checking in, I was told that as of Jan 1, United Healthcare was no longer in network and I would have to pay $135. I was surprised and disappointed. I left, this time for good. I would not recommend any chain Eyecare store. I’m going to a mom & pop store, have to wait another month to be seen. I was greatly inconvenienced by LensCrafters. Not acceptable.

Went in with my girlfriend and my two brothers and they could not have messed it up anymore than they did. Had an appointment for 3 did not get helped out until 345. They gave me the wrong prescription for my contacts and my glasses were backwards

Ive had horrible experiences with ophthalmologists to begin with. I originally wanted to go because of the machine they advertised on tv. Well, they didnt have it. BUT I did see Dr. Peter Staiger and he took amazing care of me. He explained what he wanted from me and carefully gave me the prescription I needed. He even took the time to take me into the hall and test out the prescription in real life to make sure it was something that worked well for me. He also took care of my sister who was originally given a totally wrong prescription pair of glasses from a previous doctor. She also is very happy with the set he has now given her. He is a wonderful doctor and I will be recommending him to anyone who asks and I will be seeing him again.The store was extremely busy the day we went so we didnt get glasses from this store. We also didnt like the options they had there. The store in Buckland has a better array of choices when it comes to actual frames. The girl at the doctor desk was very monotone but she was helpful when it came to explaining the insurance procedures for my insurance.

My vision insurance called this office six times and the individuals continued to hang up or refuse there phone calls. Its a matter of you releasing my vision benefit since I no longer own the glasses. I returned both pairs of glasses two weeks ago and I was informed by your staff that the benefit would have been returned within 48hrs. Im stilling waiting for you to reverse it.

Went there for an emergency. A hospital lost my glasses and they refused to help even when they were getting compensated for it by the hospital. Had to leave blind with no help or glasses.

***, UP date 2019 what happend to this place down hill 100% lies lies, dont bother with glass insurance, the insurance is only on lens and if u have a accident and total break your lenses, you need to keep the pieces in order to get them replaced,last thing to think of considering what youve been thru. After 12 year thats it for me. Hate losing my eye doctor time to go where people care. STAY AWAY FROM LENS CRAFTERS VERNON CT.
