Nice little spot just north of the Disney resort. We had breakfast sandwiches and they were both very good. Store has a little bit of everything, from fishing knives to good bottles of wine.

Really nice place with a HUGE menu with reasonable prices. If i was staying at the Disney Vero Beach Resort, i would come here during my stay it is only 100 yards down the beach, they have prepared food and cases of prepared foods wine chips and a bunch of stuff that i am sure is more reasonably priced than at disney, plus it is a nice walk and a change of scenery. Food was delicious, we got a healthy salad with grilled chicken avocado and hardboiled eggs, as well as the muffuletta hoagie which was delicious as well. If tou are just visiting wabaso beach walk over and grab lunch and bring it back to the beach. Everyone was very nice and friendly as well

My boyfriend and I tried this place as its right down the road from where we were staying. We tried the Cuban, Chicken Salad and the Wabasso Shrimp subs. Great atmosphere, great prices and the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely will be coming back here when we vacation again.

My family & I love Beach Bites! It’s location is perfect for a beachside snack or meal. It has everything my family and I could need and more! Lots of delicious gluten free options for me, the sandwich of my husbands dreams and even books and toys for my daughter (5months old). Being gluten free can be hard at local shops but not only did Beach Bites have lots of meal options for me, there were even gluten free pretzels! As a mom on the go I was able to even pickup a few family grocery staples while there which saved me a separate trip to the store. It’s our favorite beach side stop because I know if I forget anything like the sunscreen or a sun hat Beach Bites will have my back!

Fresh bread everyday for the delicious sandwiches. And they have HOT VEGETARIAN subs and pitas which is neat for those of us (vegetarians) who are tired of settling down with a cold lettuce, tomato and cheese sub to be able to eat with our friends. I had the veggie pita and loved it. Very generous portions and nice tasting veg ball. And they just opened a smoothie bar. I had the blue sky shake (blueberry, banana, peanut butter, yogurt) and it was rich and yummy. They have friendly staff and the owner is the nicest woman. Love coming here. Right on Wabasso Beach!

We discovered this place by accident while on vacation.Actually we were hungry and the reviews were outstanding so we gave it a try. If I could give this place six stars I would. We had sub sandwiches that were just fresh and delicious. The bread was wonderful also. All of the employees were pleasant and smiling and very organized. We’re going to the Pelican Bay national Park tomorrow and we’re gonna stop by Beach bites again to get a sandwich for our picnic. They have a little store inside for drinks snacks etc.They have outdoor dining on wooden tables. They have their own parking and there’s plenty of public parking right next-door.There is a public bathroom about 50 feet away from Beach Bites. The Atlantic ocean is about 100 feet away to the east. You can’t go wrong with Beach Bites.

Wack!!!! Not a single gluten free option and when I asked the lady with the star neck tattoo there was anything gluten free she looked at me like she was distrusted i asked. All restaurants should have at least one thing for people with celiac disease . Now I’m sitting here watching my friends eat and I can’t eat anything

We buy our lunch from this great place all the time! The food is fresh and tasty👍😊. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because when I ordered a Turkey Club Wrap today.....and girl making sandwich repeated our order to us to make sure what we wanted..it turned out to be ham on a wrap.. no turkey..no bacon. My husband wanted to go back and return it..but because this was first time we had a problem..I just ate a few bites a d let it go. Next time we go we will watch the girl as she makes sandwiches.

My husband and I are going to be new to the neighborhood. Beach Bites will be 10 minutes from our new home. I was checking out places to eat on google maps. Beach Bites will be number one on our list to eat, as soon as we land in Vero Beach.I am so happy to hear that this establishment does not go overboard with the propaganda of the CCV (virus). I read a previous review that bashed this establishment for not being neurotic about this virus. There is no need to be behind plastic dividers and all masked up. That is one of the very reasons we are moving to Florida. Floridians are free to be a grown-up, and live life to the fullest.Some people should just stay home if they’re not comfortable being in public. Florida here we come, we can’t wait.They have so many things on the menu that I’m already salivating over. So many things my husband will love as well. It’s not that often that we can eat at one place where we both like what’s on the menu.Outstanding reviews!!!

Cute little shop right in front of the beach parking lot.- staff wore masks but not all of the patrons and it was getting a little crowded.- gift shop had a surprisingly good amount of unique and cute beach items- smoothie menu is wide range, you can also build your own- I got the tranquility smoothie with unsweetened almond milk and the hubby got beach something. I love how I can tell there was no processed sugar added.Will definitely be back again soon ❤️

Fast service, nice people, great food

This place serves very good food, I like the breakfast here and is very good for different diets like if you’re vegetarian. I’ve been here for breakfast a couple of times and every time I go it’s a good breakfast. I definitely recommend this place if you’re going to grab a good quick meal. I love this place, going to go here again when I come back to Vero.

Seems to be a very busy place located bear the disney resort, the food is good... try the Gyro! A must, unfortunately the owners and employees have taken absolutely no precaution within the store to protect its customers and employees against the spread of the covid19! No dividers/shield have been installed at the register and the counters, employees are not wearing masks and it seems that local customers have picked up on it because none of the ones present at the store were wearing one at the exception of 1 and myself out of a dozen customers. It is very unfortunate and shows a complete lack of respects for others. Undefensible.

I love this place.Coffee and breakfast then sit at the board walk and watch the sun come up❤ Food is fresh and excellent prices. For sale there are hats, sunglasses, t shirts, hand sanitizer, they have it all. Everyone there is so nice. Go try it out, you will enjoy yourself i promise.Just a really great atmosphere🌊

Oh my gosh we drive by this place every morning on our way to Vero, finally stopped in for breakfast. The vibe was so negative, there is this older gentleman that did not even look at me as he was taking the bagged gravy out of the microwave oven and the two ladies working seemed afraid to be nice in front of him. I tried to engage in conversation with the ladies and it was totally forced. So very sad.

I really had a nice time here with my coworkers. Literally Quick friendly and delicious food. And the views not bad at all.

Love this beachside spot for their delicious sandwiches and hot lunches. They have a great staff of friendly employees who all seem to pitch in a do whatever it takes to make the place hum. It can be very busy at lunch. Unfortunately the breakfast choices are a bit disappointing. Eggs are pre-scrambled and reheated. The potato’s are a soggy frozen patty. Go for lunch and enjoy your sandwich outdoors at one of their picnic tables. Great selection of beverages!

The older lady working the counter has to be the most negative customer hating lady I have encountered. If you hate people maybe food services isn’t your calling. Seems to be family owned which makes it even more sad.

Nice little place! Excellent, fresh sandwiches and a large variety of drinks. Breakfast too. Cozy, small outside eating area under shade trees.

Miserable staff. Although the food is ok I will not be going back there after the service my family and I received by everyone in the building. Not one person smiled or said hello. Not to mention they messed up on 3 of the 4 orders that were placed. You are taking a chance at this place if they wake up on the good or bad side of the bed- not how customer service should be and if you have a tip jar you might want to be more friendly- just saying

This place rocks. Got a tip from a local and I am well pleased. A truly memorable sandwich was lovingly constructed for me by a pleasant young lady. The Montecristo comes highly recommended by this world traveler. Piquancy, redolent of jalapeno and dressing drove the minor symphony of flavors savory and satisfying. Avail yourself of this local shrine to simple joys and dine breath the tuneful clunks of the bamboo windchime. Peace.

This is a convenient location by the beach. Otherwise the owner needs to teach counter girls to say hello! And smile. What would you like? I walked in today, smiled and said hello to everyone. A lady who was behind the counter ran into the back. Two other girls wandered out, one from the bathroom, rinsed her hands with water and looked confused to see me. Noone was smiling, I saw a friend and the girl making my sandwich acted agitated I made 30 seconds of small talk. Then they started ripping apart the kitchen spraying windex and using bleach while they were making my sandwich at 3pm, when they close at 5pm. My 3 year old would do better.

Worst service. My food was overcooked and bread was hard as a rock. Watch the lady put two other people food in and take out of oven with mine still in when asked twice about my food the lady finely rolled her eyes and pulled my food out clearly seeing it was bad and wrapped it. I gave my sandwich to the cashier. He apologized. Will definitely never come back.

I wish I could give it six stars, outstanding food and super friendly staff, lots of cool beach wares, I have been going there through three owners with the same staff, it has been a pleasure going there for the last 16 plus years. I highly recommend this place

Small beach store on a Premium spot, literally steps from the beach with almost anyhing you need for a nice beach day. Nice Subs, beer, water, t-shirts, souvenirs, etc.

Exquisitely awful service. The most demeaning, unprofessional and customer-hating service I have ever experienced.Clearly the staff hates their jobs and they take it out on the customers. I have never seen anything like this mean-spirited display of customer debasement, except maybe at the DMV.Naw, the DMV has nothing on this place.I will never go back.

This is just a small shop next to Wabasso County Park where they sale sandwiches, drinks and snacks along with a few other items. Did not get a sandwich here but was told that they were good. They have outside picnic tables to eat at.

Has breakfast at 6 am ! Fresh Hot lunches and fabulous sandwiches till 5 pm, take away beer and wine till 5:30pm

Beach Bites- Wabasso- 3.0- StarsPicking up my review quest in Wabasso Beach, I found myself staring at the name put forth by my random place generator--Beach Bites. Pondering the name, all I could think of were hush puppies made of beach sand. I found Beach Bites easily enough off of A1A located in what appears to be a renovated hotel. Thankfully, they do not sell deep-fried balls of sand, but rather breakfast, brunch, and smoothies. Walking in, I thought I had stepped into the Kwik-E-Mart of The Simpsons fame as they are also a well-stocked convenience store. Hey, who doesnt need a smoothie or a quick sandwich while picking up some beach gear?Approaching the counter, I was greeted warmly and enthusiastically by a wonderful lady named Amanda. Amanda was very polite and extremely helpful in placing our order. To that end, I asked for an order of a Kielbasa in Sauerkraut, one order of their self proclaimed homemade Macaroni and Cheese and one Cali Club sandwich. Perusing the interior while awaiting our order, I couldnt help but feel I was in a Cracker Barrel, only for beach-goers. They had racks of sunglasses, board shorts, T-Shirts, and nautical themed brick-a-brack along with other sundries.Within an acceptable amount of time, I was notified that our order was ready for pick up and sent my trusty sidekick forth to fetch our victuals. Returning with our food in Styrofoam (the environmental horror!) to go containers, we adjourned to an empty table outside and commenced to ea...er, I mean we started the review process. First up to be reviewed by my punctilious palate was the Kielbasa in Sauerkraut. As it lacked any and all grill markings, I assume the sausage was steamed, not made the preferred way by grilling over an open flame. If I had any German blood in me, this most likely would have gotten my ire up, as I dont I shrugged it off as one of those forgive them, they know not what they do moments. However, after one bite I quickly realized that would be the least of any concerns the German blood I dont have, would have with this pretender. The sauerkraut did not taste very fresh and while it wasnt spoiled, it wasnt crisp and flavorful either. The Kielbasa itself was, to my surprise, exceedingly bland, one would even say pedestrian in its presentation to the palate. A decent Kielbasa should be complex in its savoriness and grilled for crying out loud! Alas, this, as previously stated was neither.Moving on to the order of Mac and Cheese, I was pleasantly surprised by the deeply layered flavors emerging with every bite as it hit my taste buds. This was obviously homemade as advertised and executed flawlessly. I would even say it was just as good, if not better than the homemade mac and cheese my mom made on occasion when I was younger. Yes, I just outed my moms cooking. But, in my defense I must reiterate, it was that good. The mac was boiled to the perfect al dantè and as I mentioned the homemade cheese sauce was amazing and more than made up for the lackluster meal sampled previously.Arriving at the final destination on our culinary journey into Beach Bites, I picked up the Cali Club and took a healthy bite. First thing I noticed was the real, honest to Butterball (or, in this case, Perdue) sliced turkey breast. The turkey was the real deal and immensely flavorful. The turkey was accompanied by some freshly sliced tomatoes and some end of the core iceberg lettuce. The lettuce was a bit off colored and a tad on the bitter side as it was from the spot on the head close to the core and everyone knows the succulent leaves are found further out and come hued in a not so much yellow as green. The bread was fresh and tasty, though not homemade and so definitely could have been better. All in all, it was a tasty end to a good meal.The Big Boy says, If you are coming to the beach and find yourself a bit peckish, this is a average, even-keeled stop. #iamthebigboy #bigboydiningout
