I called, confirmed the availability of an item and was told it would be held under my name. My wife was out running errands so she agreed to pick it up. Upon arrival, she got some rather unfriendly help and was told, my bad, we dont have it and the employee didnt care to explain why or find a resolution. My wife commented that no one there was friendly or seemed to care about our potential business. Ive shopped AutoZone frequently in the past and have a rewards account with them but Im not going back.

I have had mostly excellent experience with this location. The employees especially Hank are very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. Hank made sure that I got the best deal for my needs. He could have made a bigger sale but instead he gained a returning customer. And the free testing to help determine the problems with the vehicle are always a plus.

Honestly i wasnt impressed at all we went in there to by some freon and spent forty one dollars and some change and they wouldnt even let us use the restroom also when you earn points by spending money there they just take them back away from you if you dont use them in a certain time frame

Dee C. Is a bright spot of sunshine. I went in with horrible smells coming into the cabin of my car. Dee mediately knew it was the cabin filter. She found the right filter, and proceeded to install it after removing multiple layers of trim. She proceeded to solve two other issues that had been nagging for a couple months. I left empowered and informed. Really appreciate the friendly and educational perspective of Dee.

The Store Manger Angela has horrible customer service, and lost a $70.00 sale because of it.I stopped by this location tonight to get a headlight for my Chevy Impala. There was a nice young man helping me and I was about to purchase the double pack single the locations was out of the single light that I needed. The associate was double checking the computer to make sure that was the right light because I explained that before I had been told the wrong item for my vehicle. As he was checking the store manager Angela told him about an item near the break room door that needed to be pulled and that someone was on the way to pick it up. He explained that he was assisting me and would do as soon as he was done. She told him no that it needed to be done right then and that she needed to finish something for Fed Ex before 9. He grabbed the paper that she had and proceeded to get the item. I stood there for a second and then I left because I could not believe she had him to stop helping me, the only customer in the store to pull an item for someone who wasn’t there. The store manager didn’t trying to assist me or acknowledge that I was there.I went back in a few minutes later to get the store manager name, she was on the phone . The young man that has been assisting was walking back toward the front and let me know that he was done with the store manager had him do and offered to continue to assist me. I told him thank but that I was going to another location, I just wanted to know if she was the manager and her name. As he told me the store mangers name she hung up from the call she was on, and said that she was about to me assist. I explained to her that she never acknowledged me or said anything of that nature to myself or the associate. She just left me standing there. Angela went on to explain that she was getting the paper. I explained to that she didn’t get the paper with the information on it for my vehicle. Angela explained that she was not going to argue with me, I stated that I was not talking to her to begin with since her customer service was poor from the beginning. I left the store and went to the location on Greens Springs, where I experienced great customer service while the were busy.

I called ahead to ensure they had the part before driving from Moody. They told me yes they had 2. Upon arrival I had to wait 45 minutes while they searched, only to be told sorry, we really dont have that part. The manager Gino even got smart with me. The customer service provided today is the worst I have experienced in a long time. I guarantee it will not happen again from this store!

Came in around 8:30 P.M. to have my battery checked so I COULD GIVE THEM MONEY FOR A NEW ONE. Woman in grey polo had a terrible abrasive attitude; was working like she was at a McDonald’s. I usually receive good service here but she needs to be fired.

Great customer service and very knowledgeable employees that can abswer any auto mechanics question you may have plus they may even give you advice that you did not know originally that is actually cery helpful. They will also install mostly anything for you that is simple such as head lights, car batteries, etc...

Great service and help finding parts

I was having trouble starting my car so, my 3 kids and I came to their store at 7:45 pm to have my battery checked to see if it needed recharging or to be replaced. They were very busy, which is always a good thing, I think. When I was helped, I was asked to pull my car up to the fire lane and would help me. I tried but my car wouldnt start. My kids and I came back into the store to let them know I wasnt able to pull it up because it wouldnt crank. The person helping me then asked another employee to help me. He began telling him it was time for him to go home. But he proceeded to come out to my car. He checked my battery and said it was good just needed recharging. I said Ok, Can we do that? He said, that takes an hour, then walked away. He returned and said that they didnt have time to do that tonight. I said I thought you guys closed at 10 pm. He looked at his watch and then at the door of the store and said, Well, I need to go home, and the other guy is running his mouth with someone else, and the other guy is helping someone else. I said ok, well my car wont start. He said oh I can jump you off. I said thank you. He then jumped my car off and drove away. I gave one star in my rating, because this kind man jumped me off and allowed me to drive to a competitor store where I received good service. Needless to say, I wont be returning to this store.

Very friendly staff and customer service! They had stock of the hose I needed, allowed me to use a couple tools, and water! I got a tow to autozone because we broke down on I-459E milemarker 8.2. I was able to put on a hose and add some fluid! They saved the day and we made it back to Decatur, GA!

Ordered and paid for a part to be picked up the following day. Followed up 4 times over next 4 weeks and they never had the part. Never offered a solution to the problem. Just restated how strange it was that part wasnt there. Finally going in to get a refund tomorrow.Dont waste your time. Management had bad attitudes and acted like they didnt want to assist the employee that was trying to help me. There were three managers there and only one of them tried to assist. The other managers werent concerned with helping an employee that wasnt sure about the item I was trying to purchase. I guess one of the qualifications for being in management is to have a bad attitude. I definitely wont return to the Hoover location.

Extremely rude lady at the front. I ended up spending close to $200 on a battery because I didnt want to have to find somewhere else... but I will never step foot back in this store.

Went to get a radiator for my 99 Subaru Forester, called ahead and they said they had it. Came in and picked it up, got to my car, and...it was for an automatic, not a manual. Annoying, but I should have specified. I call back, the employee who sold me the part answers, looks up the version for a manual transmission, says its the same part, and theyve had this problem before where customers have to return the part and order one from the dealer instead. If theyve had this problem before and she knew about it, why didnt she bring it up instead of wasting my time? I ended up taking two totally unnecessary trips out there and ended up in the same place I started.

Took 20 min to get a part I ordered. Person in front of me didnt even get the right part they ordered either. And never let them test your car because they disconnected the battery wrong and blew up someones entire electrical system in their Mercedes!
