Meineke never fails me. Theyve never suggested an expensive service I dont need and they diagnosed my cars rattle within 15 minutes or so. More reliable than Firestone, and can do more in depth services, and significantly cheaper than my dealership repair. Plus they offer appointments so I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. The man at the desk was extremely polite, and so was the technician that serviced my car. A pleasure every time.

Every time I come here, they get ensure they get my vehicle tended to in a reasonable amount of time. They keep me posted and always do a thorough job.

The service was performed well. However, the scheduled appointment was not honored by this vendor. I had an 1pm appointment and showed up on time. The staff told me that I had to wait for 35min. And I was told that the oil change would be completed in another 45min. However, I didnt get my car back till 3:15pm. It was a lot better in retrospect to go to an oil change store without an appointment than coming to this store for an appointment that wasnt respected.

Went in for a radiator/coolant leak. They ran a full vehicle inspection on my car (that I didn’t ask for). I stated on my vehicle appointment exactly why I was coming in. When my boyfriend went to get his car looked at by the same place a few months prior for unknown issue they didn’t run an entire vehicle inspection on his car. For what could’ve taken 1-2 hours to remove the old radiator and install the new one I was charged 3.20 hours of labor which ended up being $414 in labor costs. After price checking with NAPA, the cost of the radiators they had in stock were between $150-$250 and I was charged $299.99. I took my car in for a 10am appt and got it back the following day. While the employees are kind and the process is easy for requesting an appointment, I should have shopped around for a better deal.

I took my car three weeks ago to Firestone in Pelham, only because they were open on a Sunday for an emergency repair. They left tools in my engine and told me the problem I was experiencing was from the carburetor and it would work itself out…Feeling unsettled after that experience, I asked Tim and his team to give me a second opinion and he immediately knew that 1) my car doesn’t have a carburetor and 2) that it was an issue with the transmission. They are trustworthy, honest, and do quality work. This is my family’s go to shop.

I was traveling with my family for spring break and had a wheel bearing fail. On a Saturday the guys were able to get it in, diagnose and repair it and have us back on the road. Extremely professional and friendly. Great experience!!

In and out! Was the only place that didn’t have a ridiculous wait time and the best prices during a holiday weekend. I was getting outrageous quotes for an oil change on a 2016 Nissan Versa. I mean one place quoted $95 and due to Easter the wait times were outrageous. I was in an out at Meineke in under an hour wait on Good Friday/Easter weekend. Will be coming back for my next oil change.

The check engine light flashed on as we were traveling and then stayed on. We found a hotel south of Birmingham, Alabama, and were pleased to find Meineke open on Saturday. Tim Berryhill greeted us warmly and three hours later his team had replaced a coil and 8 spark plugs on our Mercury Grand Marquis.Mr. Berryhill answered my questions and kept us informed. The price was reasonable and the car was clean.I wish we had a Meineke near our home.

The check engine light came on in my daughters car (as well as other lights) after her speedometer stopped working. Although the speedometer seemed to repair itself, we had Meineke check it all out. They did a quick evaluation, and although the speed sensor did trigger the light, they determined that nothing else was wrong and there really wasnt anything to fix at this time, but offered suggestions on what to do next if it happened again. They didnt call with a list of 10 other things they suggested should be done on the car, which I greatly appreciate, because most shops do that. They focused on the problem, and that was it. Good peace of mind.

This was my first time here. They were recommended by a friend of mine. They did an outstanding job. Actually took me out to my vehicle and explained everything they were doing in depth. Very professional and great customer service. Highly recommend!!

I normally get my oil change here and I’m always pleased with the work and the customer service. Tim is always so welcoming and nice. Labor is a little costly but better than the dealership prices.

Tim is our go to gentleman for trustworthy and honest car repairs and service at a fair price. They did a re evaluation of my car’s air conditioning problem after the first attempt at a relay switch and diagnostics did not solve the situation. I appreciate how I was not just told immediately that a new air compressor was needed and they tried to service conservatively based on the initial description of the situation and their diagnostic work up. Tim also looked up a coupon that would apply to my service as every dollar makes a difference!

I’ll begin by saying the mechanics here are great and everyone is very polite. That said: I was really disappointed yesterday when I came in for an oil change. My appointment was at 2:00. I arrived around 1:50. They had a few cars up and were working and when I arrived NO one was waiting for their car except for me. They didn’t even take my car back for 1/2 hour. Then when they did, they didn’t start working on it for another 1/2 hour. Meanwhile 3 other customers came and went. They likely had appointments but so did I. And an oil change takes 15 min tops. I asked several times how much longer and while polite, I wasn’t impressed with the customer service. My car wasn’t done until 3:40. (Almost 2 hours past my @ time).But what REALLY bothered me was the cashier/person in the office did NOT wear a mask nor did he insist the other customers do. I was the only one wearing a mask. He even let a barefoot customer in he office area. Very unprofessional. I’d like to give this location one more chance because they do good work. But time to get your customer service and schedule more organized.

I went to get an oil change and they got me right in to be serviced and that was great! I also had a very small leak in my tire and they fixed that as well but charged me $36 which I think is double what I would have paid elsewhere but other than that this is a great place

Amazing experience doing business with Tim and the team at Meineke. They were prompt, professional, and extremely fair with pricing. My exhaust rusted off of my muffler, and they were able to weld the part instead of attempting to gut me another $400 for a new exhaust. Communication was great and the customer service was second to none. Tim is really a class act.

Very quick and reasonably priced work! I came in for an oil change with no appointment and they got me in right away. They did the work fast and didn’t try to push any unnecessary work or add-ons on me. I did have an online coupon from their website as well, so the standard oil change ended up only being $20

Auto repair work is NOT a commodity that you pick just based on price...you must rely on recommendations! Who sends a comprehensive inspection report for you to review before making decisions? Meineke does. When my car was ready, I asked the employee if he would drive it to my house (I would drive him back to work). I only live about a mile away, but it meant A LOT that he agreed to do so! I made an appointment and brought in a preowned vehicle that I had just purchased. I knew it needed an alignment, but I did not know anything else. They did an excellent job looking over it. They explained everything that they did and even sent me pictures of the check up. After it was all said and done, all that it needs was an alignment and that is all they did. Great, honest work. I will go back for sure.

EXCELLENT PLACE! This is my third time here in the past few months and they have the best service. Super quick turn around time on oil changes.I knew that my battery needed to be changed and had already planned to have them change my battery and gave me a great price on it. My car battery died and they sent someone to my house free of charge to jump start the car, followed me to their shop and installed new battery that I had ordered in no time at all. The service techs here are very nice, not pushy on services that may be needed on your car, and are very honest in their work. I am so glad that I found this little gem tucked away. It’s nice to know that I have a trustworthy place to service my cars.

Needed a oil change done quickly. They got me in as soon as possible. Ask about rotating my tires. He inspected my tires and found they were getting worn and in the best positions they can be in. They did a good job.

Charlie and the staff in Vestavia were so friendly and polite. I was convinced that I needed new brake pads and the team throughly checked out my car and let me know that everything looked great and no work was needed. When does that ever happen? I made an appointment to fix the air conditioner and everything was very organized from the appointment making to the pick up. We felt the price was reasonable and everyone was very courteous and friendly. A/C is working well.

Always honest, fast knowledgeable diagnosis. My favorite repair shop ever. Convenient key drop so I can bring a car in overnight when necessary. Always made only authorized repairs when appropriate the have recommended combining near future scheduled service with current repairs when it would save time and money.

Asked if they could do a muffler delete on my wifes diesel truck and the lady on the phone advised I would have to contact a diesel mechanic. When I asked why as I didnt understand why a diesel mechanic is required to cut out an existing muffler and weld in a straight pipe as it has nothing to do with whether the vehicle is gas or diesel, she repeated again that we dont do diesel work and hung up. How rude!

This is the only place we take our cars now. I think the prices are fair for the work done and I trust them
