Ive never bought new furniture before. Always had hand me downs and I can tell you that Mr. Marcus was very knowledgeable about there products and helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

The furniture is beautiful! The atmosphere is ok. I paid a $500 deposit on a bedroom set and a $300 dollar deposit and they said the money wasnt there. Just keep ur receipts and highlight ur ticket. After paying 3700 for the set they wouldnt deliver. So be careful.

Being from Chicago and having a multitude of furniture stores to choose from made it difficult for me because Im so picky. I initially went to another store and spent twice as much and had less as well as not being satisfied. I was told to go to Marcus furniture by several satisfied customers. Well I took their advice and my husbamd and I went to Marcus furniture. Before centering we both saw a set in the window that we liked. I said lets look around and come back to it. We only looked for a couple of minutes before realizing that the set in the window was what we both wanted. We found everything we wanted at a great price. Were very satisfied with our purchase.

My family moved to Vicksburg about 16 years ago. We noticed the Marcus Furniture storefront while driving down Washington St. in downtown Vicksburg one day, soon after moving in. Over the years, weve purchased several mattress sets, couches, rugs, and recliners from them. I highly recommend this family-run business! They have always been helpful, polite and informative. They have free delivery & set-up, & will remove your old furniture if needed. The furniture weve purchased has held up well, and they carry nationally recognized brands. I hope they stay in business for many more years!!👍🏼✅

Closed early on Saturday

I bought a mattress and sofa set back in Oct. 2015. I was told the love seat would take a couple of weeks to get in stock. No later than Nov. It was finally delivered in January after months of excuses as to why it was late. First it was because it wasnt ordered. Then it was because they were out of the fabric.Now the mattress is sagging. I was told I could come in and they would give me store credit. Seeing as how I still need a bed I was going to trade up for a better mattress set, and they conveniently had some on sale. I had picked out the mattress I wanted, paid for the whole thing, and arranged for a truck to be available to pick it up. After my last experience with Marcus delivering the furniture I certainly didnt want to wait. After about 20 minutes of waiting for them to bring the mattress out, the employee informs me they no longer have that mattress in stock. My solution would have to been sell me the exact same mattress that now comes in a different color. Other than the color there is no difference. That couldnt be done. They tried to push me off on a different mattress that was still on sale, but not in the firmness I had chosen. I was unwilling to take a different, less comfortable mattress.I left the store with the promise that the transaction would be voided. It is still showing on my credit card statement, and now I will have to go through the trouble of calling to dispute the charges.I gave 2 stars on their facebook page since the couch and love seat are still comfortable despite the fabric on the underside sagging; however, here I will give them 1 star since my post hidden nearly immediately. Not that they contacted me to rectify the situation, but just swept it under the rug.My suggestion to future buyers not familiar with the area to buy furniture from Miskelly in Jackson and pay for the delivery fee. It was $100 back when I was looking for furniture, and I didnt want to pay it then. I have put in too much time and effort to get what I paid for from Marcus, and will furnish the rest of my home from other businesses gladly paying delivery fees.

Everyone here is very friendly and the furniture is very sturdy and nice! We have gotten our living room set, tables, and lamps. We bought our bed, and recliner from them, my parents living room set and just made another purchase through them. They special ordered a sectional and chair for our new room.
