I initially booked a tile flooring job with Home Depot in April. By June the job did not even start and the delivery materials they delivered were incomplete and they had to deliver more at a later date. After waiting 2 months for their installers to arrive and tell me they can not do the job, I contacted Hi Desert Tile & Stone. Ray Lerma was very knowledgeable and professional. He placed my order and made his recommendations. They were able to schedule me in quickly!! Ramon and Cristian arrived on time and completed the job in 2.5 days. These 2 young men were respectful, efficient and went above and beyond my expectations. The job looks amazing !! I usually support small business but was pressed for time and thought one stop shopping would be easier and cheaper at Home Depot. By the way, the job was $700 less than Home Depot and the quality far exceeded my expectations. Lessoned learned. Thanks Hi Desert Tile .

This place has sooo much tile to choose from and at decent prices! Ray helped me pick out shower and floor tile. He was super helpful, patient, and funny. The prices are better than a lot of other tile stores, but the tile is still high quality. My tile guy, Henry, referred me to this store and Im glad he did. I will be definitely be coming back for my back splash tile.

My appt owner decided to use this place for our flooring, they rescheduled me 3 times, the didnt show up when they were supposed to and didnt finish the original job the were hired for. The day they finally showed up to finish after they were already paid in full, the guys showed up an hour late and it took him 4 hours to lay the smallest bathroom. I will not use this place or recommend in the future.

Juan and the whole team are really great from start to finish they put in tile and base molding in my entire downstairs area I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out they are very professional, reliable, and skilled I recommend them for any house remodeling needs.

I purchased 1700 Square ft of tile at supper deal and 3 counter tops they installed the counter topsAnd 1 slab was off color I called and complained and without question the replaced all three. The workmanship is outstanding

We were sold a tile that cannot be used for a shower floor even though we told them the tile was for that purpose. Spent more than $160 on tile that also cannot be returned or even exchanged since purchases are final and this was a special order. Buyer beware, this place will not tell you or advise you if you’re getting the wrong product. These tile are now throw away because it’s wrong for the job.

Variety of tile, more than most tile stores in the high desert. They made everything easy! Recommend, they did my kitchen and left it beautifully!

Ray helped us out with our new carpet, and baseboards. Everything came out great, and he kept us informed with the timeline, and always replied to our questions and concerns really fast.

Would never do business with these people. They canceled one appointment and rescheduled and never showed up and said that I didnt answer his text which I did . You would think they would call not text if they have to reschedule.

Stopped by to buy tile. salesmen was with another customer, Salesman said he was assist me as soon as he was done. 20 minutes later and said I find the salesman outside smoking and talking to others. You didn’t bother to come in and assist me..I said to him that I will be back return later and we can go over the tile. When I got there salesman couldn’t assist me with father explaining or answering questions he was too busy talking and doing everything else but the system. Times are hard right now and there’s not much money I don’t think he needed money. I asked him for a better deal and he said if I want a better deal that I should drive to Los Angeles. I find this very disrespectful and rude I would not recommend anything from them

Our experience with Stone and Tile, was incredible. Their technician Ray, was professional, polite, understanding. He went above and beyond the role of a technician, to make sure that we were happy and at ease with all of our decisions. He never hesitated to answer all questions with complete certainty. He really knows his field and is highly competent.In addition, they were reasonably priced, timely and trustworthy. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and colleagues for all their home renovation needs. This is a really great company.

This place is a joke the man has no idea how to run a business, I paid for flooring up front and was told it was in stock and ready for pick up so we went to get it when we showed up with a truck the owner who sold us the flooring said it was not there and he didn’t know if he could get it, when I said why did you say it was an in stock item he gave me attitude and was rude. I’m my opinion this place is a scam as it was Allso hard to get a refund and I had to contact my credit card company it’s a strange place with a strange own and I don’t suggest you go there .

I choose to go with this company because I liked their customer service, they have variety of products I can choose from I was afraid to remove the carpet in my house but after I dealt with them they gave me confident and helped me to choose the right tile and the right color that will add different taste to the house. they came on time very professional, and they finished the job before the time frame they gave I would hardly recommended this company for anybody who is looking for some one profession right on time and decent prices.Ray it’s really patient and really helpful .

My wife and I just had some work done by this company. Ray Lerma was the best from start to finish! He came out on time and gave us a quote for flooring and granite countertops, he gave us some options to choose from on pricing. He kept in good contact and was very reasonable on pricing for the quality of flooring and granite and professional installation we recieved.The flooring work was top notch it looks great and we are extremely happy with it. The installers were punctual and quick without sacrificing quality. The granite crew did the same, on time, beautiful work, great communication, overall we are very pleased with there services and would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade there home with new flooring or countertops.

Purchase backsplash for kitchen then when I had two extra unopened of rustic interlocking granite a total of $16.75 each tried to return for refund the guy told me absolutely no refunds just lost my business was going to redo my entire living room and both bathrooms with tile cant believe he just turned down $30 worth of returns to lose out $5000. Will not buy anything else from them in future

They took out my old tile and left an amazing job. They threw away all of the old tile for me and they cleaned up after themselves. Carlos told me dust was going to be made and I asked him if he could help me cover some furniture. I didn’t expect him to clean my house from the dust because they are not Molly Maid. All of the workers are easy to talk too and very respectful. I hired Hi desert tile to install my tile and remodel my bathroom. They did their job. I recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.

I absolutely loved the work Hi Desert Tile and Stone did! They replace my countertops with a beautiful white with gray marbling quartz and added white subway tile with light gray grout. Not only did they have the best prices, but they left everything very clean and orderly and reinstalled my stove top, overhead microwave, and under cupboard lighting and so much more! Looking forward to them installing wood flooring very soon!

Ive never dealt with such a vile company/contractor in my life. These people reel you in with their kind demeanor, they get your money and then when you need them to fix issues that they guaranteed would be fixed, they dont respond to your calls.In September of 2015, Carlos and his team came out to my house and installed tile plus some laminate flooring. When his workers left, I found a 12 pack of Dos XX beer in my fridge that they left. Only two bottles were left inside the case. After finding the nearly empty case, I proceeded to inspect his teams work with a very careful eye and noticed several issues. Carlos promised that he would fix the issues and apologized for his teams actions.A few days later, I noticed a pool of water collecting at the base of one of our toilets. I went into the bathroom and noticed black mold growing on the wall. I proceeded to call Carlos in the morning and ask that he correct the issue since his team installed the toilets after installing the flooring in the bathroom. He came out, removed the mold and fixed the leak. A few days passed and I noticed that the toilet was still leaking and that mold had returned!!! I called him again to let him know about my issue. He came out and told me that the toilet that I had purchased didnt fit properly!!! He knew this from the beginning yet he still installed the toilet!!!!There are so many issues still left unfixed and its now December 1, 2015. It seems that as soon as Carlos got my money, he suddenly forgot that I was a customer that still was waiting on him to correct his issues in my home. I even went as far as going to the offices of High Desert Tile and Stone to voice my frustrations and was floored by the way that Ray treated me. He stated that I could take him to court and that I would lose!!!! Ray acts like a nice guy but dont be fooled. I asked him for his businesss contractors license and he would not give it to me. I tried finding High Desert Tile on the CA Contractors State License Board but couldnt find anything. The reason that Ray would not give me his contractors license number could be because his company doesnt have one!PLEASE save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere. Im in the process of taking these people to court. Before they start any work on your home, ask them for their contractors licence.

Hight Dessert tile and Stone had the best price in town BUT the workers did not clean up after there self personally. When you do a job for some one else you leave the job cleaner than the way you found it. they did not put down drop cloth to walk on going from room to room there Quality control (QC) is a procedure or set of procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer

From start to end, these guys knew what they were doing. They tiled my entire house and did a wonderful job, I would recommend to anyone looking for professional job done.

Always friendly and helpful and tile prices are very fair. We enjoy DIY and I do our own installation, so I cant speak to work quality, but definitely recommend for purchasing your tile.

I was looking for someone who could fix and install new tile in the floor of my shower. I initially spoke to Ray Lerma who was at the counter and he said, pointing to another guy, this is Carlos and he can do the work for you. I hired him to do the work but when he arrived he had what is counter top tile and very very slippery when wet and told me it would be fine. I then indicated to him my husband is handicapped and will slip on that, he insisted it would be fine. I didnt agree but figured he being the tile guy would not lead me the wrong way, WRONG. He did the initial work and I went ahead and paid him in full (my bad) in the amount of $700.00. Never saw him again after several calls to him and one time he told me his brother would be over to fix the problem, which never happened. I went into the store again and Ray Lerma denied he recommended him but that he would pick up the pieces and fix it so we went into his showroom and picked out the tile, he said he would order the tile and be over in 1 week. a week came and went and no call so my daughter called him and he said he didnt get the tile and would contact us when it came in, again another week went by and no calls so my daughter called him again and he said Ive decided Im NOT going to fix it, call Carlos she said you referred him out of your store and you should stand behind it. Never heard anything more from him and about a week later my dad slipped in the shower and fell and had to go get x-rays due to the fact he is on blood thinners and is also elderly the doctor wanted to make sure nothing was broken. I dont think these kind of people should be able to get away with this kind of elder abuse, they took our money.

The tile selections were nice and they came out to demo and place tile quickly but everything was rushed and many mistakes were left behind for a very expensive job. The first day they forgot their plastic to cover furniture and asked that if I had old bedsheets I would use, I had one, the house and furniture was covered in debris. I left for the afternoon so they could work so my little one didnt have to listen to the noise. When I came back, leftover food and monster drinks were on my counters and coffee table (that had the cover on it). I had brand new carpet placed a month before this and it was covered in several stains in the living room. After they were done in three days, I had to call to get someone here to come fix places where grout was missing (it was just concrete) I have rivers of grout rather than cutting smaller piece of tile to fit the space correctly and all my carpet was lifted up without the tile being cut and placed against it so now I have a small gap of concrete between the tile and the carpet. The grout started lifting up in several places where now there are holes(they patched it the other day) gave us a bag of their grout and its lifting up again now (I guess I have to keep patching a job that I paid to have done). A tile piece has a small chip on the corner which you can barely see but its just another piece thats incorrect for a lot of money paid.
