Fantastic food and friendly service! Menu is pretty diverse and has some selections Ive not seen in other crepe shops. My friend had a sweet crepe and I had both a savory crepe and a sweet (it was too tempting). All were greatly enjoyed! The outdoor seating is comfortable and has enough shade that we were fine even in the 90 degree heat.
Came in on a Saturday at 10:15 am. The gal behind the counter was hustling. She was very pleasant and working her tail off. Taking orders, making coffee, and cooking simultaneously. She was the only employee there. One simple crepe took 35 min to get. Though the crepe was tasty, Management should rethink their staffing policy. I won’t return in the near future because of it.
Its a small little restaurant. Food was good. I tried their chicken beirut sandwich (I think thats what it was called) which was good, and their veggie flat bread, which was more a soft pita than a crispy flat bread. The crepe was good. Service took some time, but once again its a small place. The people were all friendly. If youre in the area, by all means drop in and get food or coffee. I dont think I would go out of my way though to get food here.
Charming cafe but skip the crepesThe ambience and seating is very cute and the perfect place for a coffee date or a quiet lunch.I was very disappointed in the crepe, especially for a place that is supposed to specialize in them. Was expecting a thin crepe with gooey eggs and cheese and some ham. Crepe was very thick and they used precooked eggs and American sliced cheese that didn’t melt. If I wanted that I would have gone to McDonalds next door.Smoothie was delicious!
I felt bad for the girl working there alone on a Sunday at the brunching hour. Several groups came in after we ordered our food (we were the only ones there first). It ended up taking 40 minutes for us to get our two crepes. They were like warm and generally ok but not great. The smoothie was great! I think this place could be great if they would have more than one person working at a time. I felt so bad for the girl, she literally had groups in ordering, us, and people ordering on the phone. It was a real cluster.
I forgot to wear the mask so I covered myself with my jacket but I also wanted to eat inside and they tell me I cant.It makes no sense then how am I going to eat with the mask on, that girl is crazy. I will not return to that place I do not recommend it
Sausage and cheese crepe was delicious, and the Dulce De Leche crepe was absolutely fantastic. The malt non alcoholic bottled sodas are worth the trip alone. Get pomegranate!!!!
I used to love this place before, but it has changed a lot after Corona virus, I dont recommend it
I really wanted to like this place but was put off by how dirty the restaurant was and by the employees unsanitary practices. The lady that took my payment for my crepes also cooked them without washing her hands first. She picked up and handed me an unwrapped fork, holding it by the prongs. I was so grossed out I threw my crepe in the trash on the way out.
I just made an order for the first time with them with Uber eat 3 crepes 1 Nutella/banana 1 Nutella/strawberry 1 Nutella/strawberry/banana with extra strawberry +1$ and extra Nutella +1.25$ look at the picture no Nutella at all !!!!! It the first and last time I’ll order from them my 3 y o was exited to eat his crepe when he saw no Nutella on it didn’t want to eat it :(
*ETA: the owner since apologized profusely and invited me back for another round with GREAT SERVICE. I appreciate the refund (was not expecting it) but I will be back. The crepes are great and the support form community and management was wonderful. -Good crepe, very unfriendly service. My phone was dying and i couldn’t pull up the menu from the scanner pic. They dont have menus posted anywhere and the employee woman could not or would not tell me what kind of crepes they had. It was my first time in. I just asked for a ham and cheese because it seemed like the least complicated thing. She makes it and tosses the bag with the crepe on the counter top. Doesnt say anything else. I said is this the crepe?I said thanks! She ignored me. I said thanks again, two more times to her face, she did not respond or look at me and turned her back. Times are tough, I’m sure if you don’t want customers to come back, this is one way to treat them and ensure that result.
Excellent service, food and variety! Loved the atmosphere, the hours suit night owls and the drinks are wonderful. We typically get a crepe and two karak chais to wash it down. Love that its halal, too!
My spouse had the Steak n’ Cheese crepe and I had the Coca Lova Lova crepe and a Chia Latte. We absolutely loved the crepes and Latte, and the place has a comfortable interior
First time there. They have good smoothies
For a place with “Karak” in its name, you would think the Karak Chai would be good. But no, it was given to me from a thermos so who knows how long it was sitting there. It was room temperature, not even hot. Whatever, I drank it until I got to the last sip where instead of chai, I got a mouthful of loose tea. Ew. 3 stars because the Nutella banana crepe was good- cause it was fresh. Previous visits to this establishment were always amazing so I don’t know what happened this time around. Was looking so forward to some fresh Karak chai but instead got room temperature tea. That might be enough to ruin any future visits for me.
Love this place for a quick rest in the day. The staff is lovely and very accommodating. Coffee is hot and delicious
Chai Karak and the egg & cheese chapati is so good. I wish the interior was nicer (no dine in during covid even though it says they do have dine in)
The chai was sooo good! Steak crepe was so delicious!
The place is nice but it needs some improvements. One of the improvements that could be made is changing the decorations. Also, the service speed should improve. I tried the banana strawberry crepe and the coffee latte and they were average.
It was bad service u have to know not good idea to make customer wait long then an hour for order
Their signature hot milk tea (Chai) is Amazing, highly recommend this Café.
A little slow but great food
A wonderful place to enjoy at any time of the day. The food tastes outstanding and the customer service is extremely welcoming. You feel at ease & comfort the second you open the door. Will definitely become a frequent customer!
Arabian Knights Crepe was really Good! My husband said best crepe he has ever had. I really enjoyed the Karak tea.
Excellent tasting crepes and Karak, but the wait is a bit long
You dont have to go to France for a crepe. They are and the menu has a nice variety. They also have a halal menu.
The food is good and the service is nice. Service is a bit slow if you have more than a couple of people, and the chicken crepe was not filling at all even though it was priced like a meal. I had to order a smoothie as well.
Really great crepes, tea was also good but chapati was okay. Loved the ambience. Its a place to sit, talk, enjoy for hours if you wish. Only thing is that is not in the best location.
We went in to have brunch with the family. It wasnt very crowded. The place was clean! But the service was very slow. My order wasnt served together. They first served us smoothie and then hot coffee and tea. After 20 minutes wait they served our food one by one.
Delicious smoked salmon crepe! Stumbled on this healthy option to next door McDonalds, where I was going to grab some fries. (Ugh!) Great options/variety of sweet and savory crepes plus panini, smoothies, and coffees. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Much more healthy than any food/ beverages nearby!
Only place to enjoy a cup of tea that taste close to home but not there yet.
Nice food but very bad service worst service ever had. stuff very very very slow in serving food. it’s took from an hour to serve very simple break fast for two while the restaurant is empty.!!
Great setting & atmosphere. The Crepes are absolutely amazing. Also had a panini, superrr tasty. service was awesome as well!! Definitely recommend 5/5.
Unbelievably good.
Great spot! I enjoyed the Turkish coffee with an Arabian night crepe. Lots of great options!
In the top 10 of my favorite places. The coffee is off the charts good and the food is great too.
I am so glad I found this place! Their Karak tea is exact same ones I had in Dubai!! The service was fast and my server was super sweet. I will be retuning to this place for sure!
The almond croissant is awesome. It was packed and not enough seats inside during a rainy day. Keep up the great job.
Delicious crepes. Small oops in the order, quickly and graciously fixed.
Service was so slow. it took him forever to prepare it. however, food was good
The crepe was alright. It’s the chocolate drizzle that’s horrible. There is definitely no chocolate in that thing, just some cooked syrup with coloring. It’s awful
I feel bad giving this place a 3 star review because I honestly wanted to like it so badly!I was excited to come here. The place is easy to find and you can clearly see it from the street. The decor is comfortable and inviting. We ordered a variety of things from the menu. Three different kinds of sweet crepes, three or four savory crepes, smoothies, chai, iced chai.Im being honest - the crepes were not impressive. They look great and the staff really take the time to make them picture perfect. However the taste was not balanced. The crepes did not taste like any crepe I have tried before. There was no flavor, they were all overcooked and the batter seemed way too watery. All of the crepes were crispy and dry.The sweet crepes felt loaded with chocolate and syrup and just did not have the right ratio of fruit to help cut through the overwhelming sweetness. The savory crepes were over stuffed with raw veggies and barely enough meat. The crepe itself was so thin and dry that it broke apart right when you pick it up. I felt they put in too much onion to the point that all you tasted was onion. By the time I took the extra onion out the savory crepe disintegrated into a pile of crepe bits, a bunch of veggies, and a few cubes of grilled chicken. The one thing I will come back for is the chai. The chai was perfect. I have zero complaints. I could drink a whole pot myself. I shared a pot with friends and there was plenty for everyone. Anyone who is considering coming here, come for the chai at least. You will not be disappointed.Overall, I would give this place another shot. There are other items on the menu I still want to try. I will of course be coming back for the chai.
Loved the breakfast!!!! Fresh and hot. The service was perfect.
We had the Tarak Chai and the Morning Boost smoothie, both were phenomenal, best chai and best smoothie we’ve had. Highly recommend stopping by!
Delicious shakshuka and excellent coffee. Loved the calm ambience and music. Owner was friendly and hospitable and introduced us to our first taste of karak (a strong tea made with Indian spice [cardamom?] and evaporated milk). It will be hard to make a choice between karak and their smooth, rich coffee. Wonderful family-run business. We will be back!
Update: Been back several times and the smoothies, turkish coffee, and crepes are all delicious. Great afternoon snacks tooPrevious review: A place that advertises breakfast, doesn’t open until 8am. This morning, I walked 30minutes to get there, for said breakfast smoothie, and no one showed up. I left at 8:20. Would be a great place to grab smoothie and snack for breakfast on way to work. Lots of people leave or arrive at work in Tysons earlier.
Delicious crepes and enjoyed their tea. Friendly place. My son loves it so much he is a frequent customer and chose to come here for his birthday dinner!
Extremely fantastic place. Karak chi well done. Food is fresh and tasty. All served with kind Sudanese hospitality.
Loved the karak tea and banana Nutella crepe. The ladies did a fantastic job serving us. Must visit! Highly recommended.
Crepes are great, karak is great. (edit after going more times) Service is pretty much always middling to bad, but the food is still good. (edit after going even more times) Service is so inconsistent that sometimes even the food isnt good--except for that first time, Ive never received my order correct or on time.
The place is cute and their food is good but customer service is a little slow. We had to remind them about our order because they forgot that my friends and I placed an order; other than that, its a yummy place to eat.
This place is delicious. Got a crepe and a watermelon smoothie. Both were on point.
Best place to relax and have great strong flavored tea chai and crepes were awesome
Best coffee Ive had in years! Lovely crêpes too! I wasnt planning to have lunch, just take-out coffee, but the restaurant smells so good, when you walk in!
Amazing food and service The Arabian nights sweet crepe was amazing along with dulce de Leche and fresh seasonal berries was all amazing crepes definitely come !!! It’s a great study spot too
The ambiance and the food served. The staff is also excellent !!!
The service is amazing & the food is top notch. The karak tea is exceptional. Hands down, my new favorite place.
I highly recommend all friends and families to be their customers, they have the best crepes.
The people were very friendly and the sevice was fast. The food was good, very good.
Excellent service, excellent crepes, and the best karak chai outside of India. The owner stayed late to accommodate us after closing.
This is an AMAZING gem of a place. The Turkish coffee, karak (similar to lightly spiced chai), smoothies, crepes, and chapati (!!) were honestly all top of the class in looks and taste. I love the interior design too and the employees were very helpful and so nice!
I ordered a panini style beef sandwich which is called Dubai, and Nutella-Banana Crepe with Americano coffee. Everything was super delicious, staff was friendly. They have good food with quite low prices and plus everything is Halal as I know of, but does not hurt to double check with them.
One of the best places to hang out with the family all ages, we could go any time breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very tasty food, we tried sweet crepes and the one made with steak and cheese and all of it where so yammy. If you want to get the oriental taste you could order Karal tea which is famous in the gulf area has it origins back in Pakistan and India. We have be visiting the place at least once a week and we never bored of it. The staff are professional and the owner is a very nice person
We went there for their famous chai, and they were out. Not only did they make it from scratch right before they were closing, they were super sweet about it. Definitely recommend it!
Chicken panini is good. Karak chai is amazing! I always receive great service during lunch on weekdays.
Nice cozy place for crepes and drinks. Enjoyed chapati rolls :)
Wonderful service and fantastic tea and food. The interior is very well kept too
Fantastic service and awesome dessert with excellent Karak chai and the owner Ashraf and his staff super friendly would highly recommend this place
This place has nice people good servers and good food
Delicious crepes and the coffee and tea were amazing. Great service !
One of my favorite spots in the DMV because they have real, authentic South Asian style karak chai. The saffron tea is a must. I wish they were open a little later -- especially on the weekends -- because its a great place to hang out. I also wish they were a little quicker with their service -- the tea can take quite a bit of time to be made. But because its so good, this is one of my top spots to visit!
All I can say is WOW! Great customer service and even better crepés! Worth every penny! If I can give it a 6/5, I definitely would!
Very nice tea and decent food. Love the way the interiors are done up.
Nice sandwich and chai. Ambience is nice
Good food, great karak, cozy feel, prices are a little high, friendly for young children
I loved the atmosphere, very calm, quiet and family friendly, really resembles a cafe but with a Karak twist, steak and cheese crepe ask as the classic strawberry banana Nutella were amazing and the milkshakes hit the spot, overall great experience definitely going back
Pretty good!
Will recommend. Little pricey but different food... Pina colada was good.
Wonderful Place!! The delicious taste of Coffee and Crepes .. highly recommended
Lovely service, crepes and delicious hot chai - perfect for the upcoming cold. Lots of good options. Steak and cheese crepe is a must. Returning soon !
I go here maybe 4x a week because the staff is wonderful and theyre food is amazing. I never write reviews for anything but this was worth it. Highley reccomend
Karak is great. Wraps are just okay. Chapati is probably the only dish where the amount of food you get makes sense for the price. Id stick with Karak and Chapati if you go.
