Tried this establishment after being told it’s better than Sweetgreen. My experience was tainted by ordering their seasonal strawberry salad and receiving a salad without strawberries. My husband enjoyed the lentil soup and tofu tango salad.

Delicious vegetarian-Mexican food. The manager and the staff are nice and friendly is a perfect healthy choice for breakfast or lunch. We definitely come back!!

While this place is vegetarian friendly, it also has meat options. I enjoyed my salad and milk shake at their simple outdoor seating. Indoor seating also an option.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but after seeing such negative ones for this small business, I feel like they deserve more positive ones! This was my first time coming here, (I came in around 5pm on Saturday (6/26)) and ordered the Spicy Avocado salad! The lady working was super nice and was patient with me while trying to find a dressing I’d prefer (so many options to choose from- a good problem!! lol) the portion is huge and amazing deal for the price! I took it to-go and ate at home and it’s delicious! I plan to come again! There’s so much on the menu to try :)

I think the reason the people cannot find this location is because the building itself is in between two main streets. Its right next to the BB&T Bank on the Clarendon Blvd Side (even though the address says Wilson Blvd). Some of the reviews are a bit harsh. I live 3 blocks away and I grab a sandwich or salad every couple of weeks. Its a smaller place, but ample seating area inside and outside. I can always sit outside with my dog on a nice day. If you are staying in one of the nearby hotels like Hyatt, Residence Inn, or Hampton Inn in the Courthouse neighborhood, it is a very good location for a quick bite. Everything is always fresh and delicious and the portion size is generous. I usually eat a half sandwich for lunch and the other half for dinner. Same thing with the salad. Surprised with some of the negative reviews about people not being nice. The people here have always been super nice. For many, English may not be their first language. They may need to get a manager involved for assistance which I see on occasion. The main manager (maybe the owner) is always super friendly and very helpful. Also, I love that this place still accepts cash. I am happy to pay cash and they are always happy to accept.

Great sandwiches, salads and service. Its easy to get in and out if youre in hurry, but also has a pleasant and inviting ambience if youre able to dine in.This location is easy to access as well.. Just a few minutes walk from the metro and youll also find plenty of nearby parking options.

I got a take away club sandwich and it was a good morning meal. I got a good amount of sandwich and it tasted delicious. The breading was a little dry but it wasnt unbearable

Got a Breakfast Burrito and Farmers Sandwich. They were just okay, a step up from fast food and it seemed like they had good ingredients. Just tasted closer to fast food.

Horrible experience, salad was not prepared as ordered and the response from management, sorry we are new! And you can come back and buy another salad and we will try to do it right. So, pay for 2 salads not made to order. That’s not happening

The food is healthy and definitely delicious. Its nice to have a healthy quick option for lunch when your busy with work. Added bonus, they are incredibly friendly. No, its not a place Id drive across town to eat at, but for what it is, it is incredible. 5 stars for consistency.

When I got home and opened the plastic container the salad I got was in, I was met with a stench that can only be compared to that one leftover tupperware youve left in your fridge for far too long. Turns out, the black beans they had put on my salad were rotten. Completely slimey. Are their ingredients not dated or reviewed before putting in peoples food? They could seriously make people sick. Unbelievable. Anyway, stick to Sweetgreen down the road.EDIT: I live one block away, so the beans did not spoil on my 3 minute walk home.

Service is abysmal, legit everytime i come here at lunch time it takes forever to get served. On top of that, making your own salad with no extras is like 11$. At least the salad is alright

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.First off, you cant even find this place. The manager refused to refund my online order. I did an online order at this location bc its on my way to work. I put the address on my phone, place is nowhere to be found so I called and he gave me CVS, BB&T landmarks & mentioned Verizon store. I saw the CVS, turned around, saw the BB&T but STILL COULDNT FIND IT. So I put Verizon on my phone bc thats the other landmark he gave me, and it took me by Cheesecake Factory and a one way street.So at this point, Im over it. Ive driven in circles, I was running late for work, Im hungry and frustrated. I called back and the manager ARGUES with me saying they havent moved and he doesnt know which Verizon I put, that theyre on Clarendon Blvd (their address says Wilson Blvd) & I was on Clarendon Blvd. He said itll take three days to refund anyway and asked if I come in there all the time to eat. He said it isnt FAIR for him to refund me my money. So Im supposed to continue driving around looking for them when I was already late for work?!? Mind you, I mentioned this to him twice & he kept saying it isnt fair. So I asked him, So Im not going to get my food that I ordered and you wont refund me? He said he will TRY to refund me.I dont give af if it takes three days. I want my money back. Tell me how is it fair for me to pay for something I didnt get?!Ive worked customer service for 15 years and Ive never come across someone so rude. Terrible customer service, awful manager. I dont recommend ordering or going to this location. Its been an entire week and my money hasnt been refunded for something I didnt receive.

My first and last time there. Was hungry and the outlet looked appealing. But alas... The burrito was tasteless and soggy within minutes, the steak salad was equally tasteless.

I heard great things about this place and they lived up to the hype. The food felt like a quality healthy meal. The best part about it was the portion. I was able to get a very large salad with multiple add ons without breaking the bank.

Food was great but cashier/coordinator either had his mask exposing his nose or wasn’t wearing a mask at all and was speaking over our *uncovered* food. Very upsetting to see during a pandemic.

Sweet leaf is hands down one of the best fast casual restaurants in the area. Their salads are amazing, and the sandwiches are incredible. They also make great milkshakes and other baked goods! This is a go to for me!

Delicious breakfast burrito, generous with the sausage, egg, and avocado. Paired with pico de gallo. Will order again for sure :)

I called to customize an order since their web app didnt allow me to. A woman picked up and asked if I can hold, I said sure, she hangs up on me. I called back, She asked if I can hold, hangs up on me again. I called a third time and she just puts me on hold without saying a word to me. I sat on hold for 4 min, then I hung up. Called back, and she asked if I can hold. I said I am sorry but I cannot, its about an order I placed in the app. Her reply was, sorry I have a long line right now. I am trying to relay information about an order they are probably already making. Lunch is always busy, but if the app was develop well, I would not have to call in and inconvenience you with my order

I have only been here once. I got the chicken with chipotle sandwich and it was very good. It reminded me of Snarfs which I miss. The space has a nice vibe and its warm (which is good because its winter as I write this).

This has been my go-to salad place for some time and the service is always excellent, but they recently discontinued the ranch dressing, which was awesome and paired perfectly with the Santa Fe salad. Please, please bring it back!!! I switched from a competing salad place in large part because I liked Sweet Leafs ranch dressing better. My review would be 5 stars had they not made this change.

This is like a classier Subway, with more options, fresh ingredients and salads being first class citizens alongside sandwiches. I had some trouble understanding the accents of the employees, and the restaurant is noisy enough for it to matter, but their service is excellent. Great quality for a good $ price.

Went here for the first time the other day and got more than expected. I wanted something both light and filling and wound up fimding just what I needed in the craft salad. Its a build your own salad that allows for a choice of greens along with up to four add ons and choice of dressing. I loved the fact that the person behind the counter mixed all the ingredients together in a metal mixing bowl before serving it in a large salad bowl. Of all the fresh ingredients I added, I was most pleasantly surprised by the pesto topping offered. Didnt need to order a drink as there was an ice water carafe in the middle of the shop before the seating area. This place was well worth thw stop on a hot summer day.

This place is pricey. Be prepared to fork over some serious dough at this cafe. But, that said, I still find myself here twice a week because the food is so good.

Pretty good sandwiches at a good price, recommend the Cali Club and Turkey and Apple sandwiches. It was a little chaotic behind the counter; there seemed to be a lot of confusion among the staff.

I always order my salad ahead of time because its such a popular place and they always have it ready on time with a smile. Staff is super friendly and remember my name when I pop in. Highly recommend!

I love this place for breakfast! $4.50 will get you a great breakfast sandwich and a coffee! Also, the flavor syrups they use here (da vinci) are much better than those youll find at a lot of other coffee shops (monin, and even starbucks). So, if you like your vanilla lattes, I highly recommend sweet leaf.
