We worked with Xavier, the Manager, to take care of our needs and getting us the best price to Mike who is so helpful with the questions we had. We bought a very used Chrysler Town and country and we’ve been putting repairs into it as we’ve been able to and we’ve been trying to find a reliable place. This is it for us!

I was driving home and heard a flapping on my tire. My dad said go straight to the shop, same one we always go to. So I zoomed it over and was greeted by Mike! He is so super friendly and kind! I’ve been coming to this CarX for about a year now and every time I walk in I feel welcomed and cared for. The guys that work here are amazing. They stop at nothing to make sure that you understand your car, everything going on with it, and how to maintain everything going on with it. The manager, Roberto, informed me that my brakes were wearing out and told me how long it would be until they were completely worn out. Ivan, one of the guys in the shop explained to me the severity of getting your brakes replaced PROPERLY. Daniel, one of the other guys in the shop hopped right to it and got them switched out and cleaned up faster than I’ve ever seen. These guys really aim to please. I recommend everyone to come here to have all their car needs taken care of.

I got a flat tire on my way into work. Mike and his staff were very kind and helpful. They inspected my tire and determined that the tire could not be repaired. They also determined that my spare was also no good. Mike took care of my needs and even gave me a ride to work! This is an awesome shop to have work done at! Very friendly staff. Clean shop. Waiting area is small and parking lot is very small. Beware of pot holes in rear if coming in from Villa Ave. Watch out for possible out going vehicles as you drive in. Not many stores near by to visit while you wait.

This place was awesome! The service was A+...exceptional. I went in to compare tire prices. After about 7 different places, this place beat them all! The manager, Roberto, was very polite and courteous. He really seemed to care about what tire worked best for me and my girls. He took me through a few options before I settled on my choice. I purchased 4 new tires, had them balanced and installed. They did all this work, including an oil change, in a short amount of time. I highly recommend this place. PS...they coffee was good too!

Good experience with car x .Xavier and his mechanic are the best. Lots of free stuff tire rotation brake check battery check checked my light bulbs suspension check even though my car is a 2018 they made sure I had the piece of mine knowing my family will be safe winter is coming.

I have been going to Car-X theres 1992. That is a very long time. They are we had treated me fairly it gave me honest opinions about my car. I asked my vacations done to my car what up bro departing in a car in Wisconsin to install it for me. mechanics from small shops. Sometimes I give you a run around. They was upright straight to the point.

I had an issue and the district manager reached out and and resolved it completely. Great customer service, I will be returning to this location for any future repairs.

Had good experience with them so we bought a oil change family pack. I took it in and they would call me when it was done. I asked to have alignment checked again with the (warranty) I had with them from last year. So when I picked up vehicle I noticed tires weren’t rotated like they said they would do. So since after hours when I got vehicle I went in next AM. I said hey the tires weren’t rotated. “Oh sorry let me have the keys” ummmm not even a really? Are you sure? Let me check? No just oh ok keys please. Like he knew already they didn’t do. Also no paperwork for alignment check. Tires weren’t rotated. So now I will find a new shop since this is how it works there. Be honest and do what is paid for. Simple. (Tip. I always mark tires to see if rotated ;) )

Shout out to Vince and Ivan!My wife and I were headed out to eat friday night and stopped to get air in the tires. While attempting to fill one of the wheels, a corroded air valve cracked and the tire wouldnt take air. in fact, it looked as if it was slowly deflating. We zoomed east on North Ave. to the Villa Park location. Luckily, we rolled onto the lot just as they were closing. If we didnt get the issue resolved our car would have been out of commission. Vince assured us that as long as they had the parts on hand...they didnt mind staying late to fix us up. While Vince talked us through what needed to be done...Ivan was out in the shop working some Jedi magic. 30 mins (and not too much money) later...we were back on the road to our Friday night out.Thanks to Vince and Ivan for preserving our date night!

Car x has great service and is well educated on what they do here. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years already. Always got deals and pretty reasonable. They’re just as good as any other car service out Here, only difference is they are more affordable!👍🏾

The staff and technicians are very nice

We called at 4:45 with an on-the-road tire problem. Vince said that he would take care of it if we came right away. Everyone was friendly and helpful even though we got there at closing time and they had to stay an extra 30 mins to fix the car.

I’ve been coming here for awhile. Lost my oil change card. Had some be left. They looked it up and honored on my word I did not use it. Bought another 3 oil change deal for the next time. Great service, thanks Rob for being fair and understanding.

I brought in my 2010 Ford Crown Victoria to get the spark plugs inspected before a road trip. I was told I needed a set of the original spark plugs installed for my vehicle because I had cheaper quality spark plugs in already that could lead to problems later, understandable since I’m not the original owner of the vehicle and who knows what the pervious owner put in the vehicle. I was on a budget but Robert worked with my budget to make sure that I got the proper spark plugs ordered for me. Robert is honest and very understanding and wants to make sure you’re getting the best deal out there. I’ve been to this location before for a new set of tires which have worked great especially for the long distances I drive. I would recommend this location to all my friends and family!

I just wanted to start this review off by saying THANK YOU!!! to the general mange Xavier for all of his knowledge and help. I go to Firestone maybe once a month to have my tires inspected i had concerns about loud noises when i would drive the car.. However, not once did anyone tell me that I had been driving around all spring and most of the summer with WINTER TIRES on my car until coming to the Villa park Carx. I was referred by a friend, and so happy i did. cause i left CarX with new tires, an alinement and no annoying sounds all for an affordable rate.thanks guys.

I wish that I could rate this place higher than 5 stars because it truly deserves it. I first went to Car X for a simple leak in my tire... which on the surface seems like a boring and annoying experience. My experience with CarX was anything but. I have had serious issues dealing with tire shops before that don’t address my concerns and are just looking for my money. That is not that case at all with this location. I met with the manager, Robert, who greeted my politely and was very intent when I described the issue I was having with my tire. I told Robert that I had to start work in 2 hours and he got me right in to take care of the issue before I had to work. Once Robert and his staff discovered the area that was leaking on the tire, he brought me to the back so I could observe the problem as he explained the repair. I wish more people did business this way, this was very reassuring to me as a customer knowing the business cared about being honest and transparent. A few days after my visit, Robert personally called me to ensure I was satisfied with the work and to ensure the issue had been resolve. Again, something you don’t see very often with business. Small things like this go a very long way with customers, and is the reason why Robert has earned all of my future business. Could not be more satisfied with my experience at this Car X location!!!

I was in a bit of pickle with a flat tire and no store in the area that had the correct one. Robert worked tirelessly (no pun intended) and far more patiently than I was at the moment. He worked for an hour and a half PAST CLOSING trying to figure out the best way for me to get home that night and eventually I was able to safely drive away. His patient and warm customer service was beyond a doubt the best I have ever experienced. I will be servicing my vehicle at this location from now on because of him and the communal work culture that he promotes. Could not thank him enough and cannot recommend this location enough!

They will tell you the true about your car but they dont push you to fix it if u dont want them too. They help you and explain things. Driving pass and dropped by for tires. Robert was sooo helpful! He taught me so much about my car in a short amount of time so that I can maintain between visits. I got the tires, wipers, and a light bulb. They are very thorough catching things other mechanics had not. It was so worth the visit. Prices are awesome as well.

Robert and his staff are exceptional. I discovered my brakes started squeaking on a Saturday afternoon and tried calling a mechanic nearby. Not only were they open and able to help me, but on discovering my brakes need to be replaced (he showed me why they started squeaking), he helped me get home safely. My car was fixed as good as new and I felt comfortable with the team taking care of it and making sure it was safe. I would recommend this location with the friendly, reliable staff.

Robert was able to work with me and my mom (in Wisconsin) on getting my car repairs done quickly, multiple times. This is a wonderful place to go get anything done. I go to commege down here, and if you do too I would highly suggest going here because they will work with you and your family at home.

So a few days ago I was on my way to work when I got a flat tire. I turned into the BP gas station hoping it just needed more air unfortunately it had a slit about an inch long. I was really annoyed because it was almost dark out and was thinking that I had no choice but to change the tire when I looked across the street to see Car-X. So I filled my tire to help it somewhat and drove across the street. They were extremely nice and told me they would get it set up even though it was about their closing time. Unfortunately they only had 1 tire...the most expensive which at the moment was not the best option for me. Fortunately he offered to put my spare on instead no charge! I definitely appreciated it! And I would recommend these guys. They do whats best for their customers and really help out! Thanks again!

Came in and had an oil change done from other car x. Was informed that a piece was about to fall off. Two days later i heard it dragging while driving home. Came in and these guys helped me fix my issue and helped me out asap. Helped me out even though they were closing in 10 minutes. Fixed my issue within minutes and were very courteous.

I failed my emissions test because my sensor wouldn’t read. I’ve been down here before and they’ve always helped me. Robert and his team fix something so minor on my car so I could pass my emissions test. These guys saved my poor car on a Saturday afternoon! I was in and out in literally minutes after someone rear ended me and messed up my trunk (wouldnt close). They fixed the trunk and the bumper and had me on my way before I knew it. Super friendly, helpful, and quick. (and didnt try to make me get a million other things fixed - they just fixed what I needed) Id give 6 stars if I could.

This is by far the most honest and personal auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. Robert greeted me with a smile and a handshake and then proceeded to ask about my cars problem. I told him there was rattle coming from the rear and it sounded like the muffler or tailpipe. He took my keys and told me it would be a couple of minutes to look at the problem. A technician came out and introduced himself and asked for me to come look at the problem. A bolt and washer was holding one end of the heat deflector up however on the other side the hole had enlarged and the deflector was no longer properly supported. He said it would be a couple of minutes for him to install a larger washer to re-support the deflector. After completing the work, the technician came back to the lobby, handed me my keys and said everything is good now. I asked what the cost was and they said no charge! This is what you call CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will definitely come back for all my auto repairs!

Brought my car in for a rattle that I thought was an issue with my exhaust. Turned out to just be a loose support that was hitting the pipe .They did the quick fix at no charge and even found that I desperately needed new brakes. Robert was very courteous and helpful.

Without an appointment my car was towed to this store, arriving about 5:00 PM. Robert (the manager) quickly checked his inventory and found 2 tires on sale in the hard to find size my car requires. The car was up on the rack 10 minutes later, and I was on my way home by closing time. Thank you to Robert and your guys! I didn’t have to arrange for returning the next day and all of you helped make a bad situation much better.

My car needed to pass emissions testing in a few days when the service engine soon light came on. I needed a smoke test and most places I called didnt have the equipment or know-how to find the problem. I called this Car X and they said they had both. They checked and found the problem. Also showed me that a tie-rod was dangerously worn and needed replacement immediately. Work like this takes a while to locate parts and complete, so I was patient and the wait wasnt really that long. Dan, the manager, also gave me options on the parts needed to repair the emissions problem so that I could save money.. I am so grateful for their work that I have been back twice since and will continue to have my cars repaired there. They are professional, courteous, complete, caring, reasonable and above all else HONEST! I have recommended them to others. They may have saved my life.

Robert is the best! I stopped in with a flat tire after work and he took care of it right away. He took the time (at the end of the work day!) to walk me around my car showing me how my brake pads were almost shot and my tires had uneven wear and tear and needed rotating.
