I brought my 2006 Santa Fe here about 5 years ago because it wouldnt pass emissions and knew that it was a sensor issue. They had it for 5 or 6 days. When I got the vehicle back it immediately had alternator problems. Took it back and they fixed that but my brakes were never the same. I told them about that problem and claimed they never touched my brakes. I took it to another place and found that it had problems with the bearings. Never again! I do believe that they were just creating more problems with my vehicle in the hopes that I would keep coming back to them. Maybe taking advantage of me because Im a single woman? Beware!!!

I had an engine misfire with no code and it was effecting the trans shift points when I took it to a local shop no one seemed to understand how to diagnose it or they were just plain mean then I thought call Atomic. Frank and ed do the best diagnosing they diagnosed it perfectly this is an honest and professional. business i highly recommend them

Atomic is the best. I have been taking my trucks and cars there since Frank and Mike were across the street back in the 90s. No matter what the job gets done correctly and timely. Frank the owner always takes us the customer as a priority. He is usually the lower price around as well.

I had the transmission in my 2007 Accord V6 rebuilt here in April of 2018. The guys are great in explaining everything to you. They even let me walk onto the shop floor to inspect the work in person. The trans had a leak by the transmission warmer on top, but was promptly fixed when I took it back to the shop days later. I want to give a shoutout to Robert for really taking care of me. These guys know what they are doing!!

Atomic transmissions is a great place to get transmission work done. The staff is very patient and explained the problem in great detail. They have repaired 2 of my vehicles .- My 2007 VW Beetle was having automatic transmission shifting problems due to the transmission fluid getting too hot in July 2019 of this year. The transmission cooler was replaced after diagnosing the problem. The cooler attaches to the top of the automatic transmission in the VW Beetle. I asked the service writer to have the technician drive the car home and back to verify the repair since it was somewhat intermittent. Atomic had one of their technicians drive the car home and back to verify the repair . Vehicle shifts properly now :) .- Five years prior to this my 2005 Dodge grand caravan needed a new torque converter to correct the shudder problem. The torque converter was rebuilt in house right next to the transmission shop. This dodge was fixed about 5-6 years ago.- I think the people that are giving Atomic Transmissions bad reviews are not aware of the complex electrical systems and complex automatic transmissions that modern cars have. Atomic is great!! They identified the problem then they reached out to the dealership to see if the problem was under warranty. And it was. This shows me they are thinking about the customer versus versus only how to make more money. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I took my car to an auto shop last night and was told it would be $2500 for them to take the transmission out of my car and have someone else rebuild it. To get a second opinion, I took my car this morning to Atomic. Although I had asked the other shop the night before if there was a possibility I was under warranty and was told no, Atomic took it upon themselves to call the dealership once they figured out I needed a rebuild. They called me in after spending 45 min on my car to tell me that I was under warranty and should take it to the dealership. They gave me all the information, the person they set me up with at the dealership and sent me on my way. They didnt ask for a dime and could have easily made $2500 on me! Honest people are hard to come by, but these guys sure restored my faith in humanity today!

I had a less than ideal experience at first, but when owner Frank returned after the holidays and learned of my disappointment, he called me personally and asked what my concerns were. He listened and addressed them to my great satisfaction. This is, as it always has been, the best customer service experience Ive ever encountered.Please disregard the hasty review I left as MR ASE. I was unable to edit or delete it.

Frank and Tony and his crew provide great service! I was recommended to Atomic by a friend who said they would be fair and complete. It turns out he was right! At no charge, they took my car overnight to try and find an obscure issue that n one else had been able to find. The issue of course did not show itself then, so I left with the car the next day and got a couple of miles down the road when it happened. I called them, they said bring it right back- I came back and they took it out again and found the issue. We are at this point deciding our options, but they were complete and offered all the possibilities and gave some information helpful to us in deciding. I would definitely come here again!

Customers beware this place is a joke They had my 2007 Cadillac Escalade for 60 days when they return the vehicle to me it was in worse condition than when I dropped it off I told them I had an oil leak under the truck they kept running the truck anyways the oil leaks on the muffler made the whole interior of the truck smells like straight burnt or oil I told them that my transmission has been rebuilt by somebody else they said the transmission is fine there is an electrical problem they looked at it for 30 days they had Cadillacs technicians out looking at it they claim. they gave me back the vehicle the transmission was slipping even more than when I dropped it off and they charge me $160 to get my vehicle back from them when they didn’t fix anything they made the matter worse careful if you bring your truck to these people they really don’t care about you all they care about is their $160 they don’t care if your vehicle is in worse condition than when you dropped it off.

My 2010 Mustang came factory equipped with automatic transmission. After owning it for 8 yrs. I wished it had a manual transmission. I recently inquired if they could do a 5 speed manual conversion. I was skeptical at first not sure how the car would respond to such a project. Picked up the car today. Couldnt be more happier how the car shifts and drives. Bad experience with Duke & Lees Towing who outsourced a transmission rebuild build to Atomic. After 7 months of the initial rebuild, the trans blew. Of course the warranty was for 6 months.I cant point the finger at Atomic for bad service or repair since D&L was involved with the removal/install, and diagnosis/ repair during this 3 week process too.Since both companies were involved with this one job, I must rate both low. See the review for Duke and Lees Towing for more info. Shop around, save all receipts and warranties, and do your due diligence.

Had brought my car there 2 years ago and they rebuilt my transmission. Since that time I have had my car there 2 other times and now over the weekend my transmission went again. The second time they charged me $250.00 and the car was still under warranty. The third time the car was 11 days out of warranty and they wanted to charge me to fix my car. After countless times going back and forth they did fix my car at no cost but now my transmission went AGAIN and i will NOT be bringing my car back there for the fourth time
