This company was hired by Allied moving company to do an estimate on damages from a move. My overall experience was very good. The company could not share their comments on the estimate because the insurance company hired them. Not their fault. From the time the insurance company approved the claim the repairs were done quickly. I would recommend this company.
I went shopping for a new leather living room suite. I could not find quality real leather with double stitching and spring support. I called Weathersby for an estimate. I started out with just having them do a chair. It was perfect, just as when I bought it off the showroom floor. They did my sofa, recliner and ottoman. I couldnt be happier. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience!!! Mark Weathersby took care of us like family. We had a mold issue when we relocated to this area and he came in and inspected everything and got us all taken care of. He even followed up and made sure we were happy with the result. He expedited everything and even had name suggestions for our brand new baby. Highly recommend this company! I have had many positive experiences over the years with this company. They have reupholstered, refinished and repaired several pieces (including a 100 year old dining room set) and have done beautiful work each time. Quality work and a pleasure to work with!
Dropped off a cushion in OCTOBER to have a zipper replaced (cost $125.00). I specifically stated not to remove or lose labels- this was an expensive heirloom quality collectors piece. I was assured all labels would remain intact. I kept calling throughout the SIX MONTH duration of my cushion not being done and was given one excuse after another why it was not finished- FINALLY SIX months later it was done (and not correctly). When I contacted the owner, he did nothing he said he would. Very disappointed!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company was hired by our moving company to do estimate damages from our multi-state move. At first, they seemed easy to deal with and make an appointment with. They gave us an all-day range on the first Saturday available for appointments, and told us that theyd call us that day with a more specific time. We cleared out our schedule for that day, and at 0800 on Saturday, David called us to tell us that our appointment time would be between 1000-1200. Unfortunately, my husband was called into work at 1100, but called David to get an estimate of an ETA- David indicated he was on his way from Elizabeth City, which was about 30 minutes away. My husband told him that he would await his arrival. At 1200, David hadnt shown. We both called David and the Weathersby offices (which should have still been opened, as indicated by their hours) but neither answered. At 1230, my husband was forced to quickly leave for work.David never returned our calls that weekend or apologized for his missing our appointment.The following Monday, after not having calls returned, my husband contacted Craftsmanship by Weathersby and spoke to David over the phone. David apologized and made several excuses, none of which explained his lack of communication at the missed appointment.Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment had to be cancelled several hours before the appointment time, because my husband once again got called into work. The office seemed like it was no problem, and we rescheduled for the weekend (which is a more flexible time for us due to his job).They then, several days later, cancelled *that* appointment too, saying that the timing wouldnt work out.This is important, because we then received an email from the owner of the company, Mark Weathersby, who sent it to us by mistake, and he meant to send it to our moving company. He misrepresented our interactions by lying to our moving company, and stated that we were too difficult to make an appointment with and he would not offer us any weekend appointments unless it would cost someone a corporate account with a cheeky emoji at the end, laughing about the situation. He completely missed the part of the timeline where his technician missed our entire appointment time without a call or explanation of any kind or that they cancelled the second appointment. Thankfully, our moving company was absolutely embarassed and apologetic and issued us a check for our claim quickly. I would never, ever use this company in the future for the simple fact that their owner not only has no issue with blatantly lying about/to his customers, he also has no idea how to send email to the correct recipient. Go elsewhere!
I wish there was a 0 rating. This business is terrible. They took my king size bed, small computer desk with a loose leg and a cracked mirror. I got my bed back A MONTH later and the handles were missing, making it nearly impossible to relocate with ripping it. Its been over 2 months and they still have my desk and mirror. Ive called several times expressing my concern and was told they would figure out what is going on. I still havent received a return phone call. I cant stand this company and highly recommend going anywhere else. Oh yeah, and to top it off, they said they were on their way with our things and that was when they returned my bed. They didnt even tell me the other things werent finished until they got to my front door. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT WEATHERSBY!!!

Following the directions on their website, I uploaded pictures and described the damage I needed fixed. After no response, I called in and was told that “the guy” who responds to those emails was out driving around and would get back to me when he had time. She reassured me that he had already read my email. No assistance offered by her and no return phone call or email.
