Made an appointment. 30 minutes after leaving they called. They didn’t have the glass in stock. Waste of time. Wasted have the day going back and forth for nothing.It was at the warehouse in Chesapeake. No one could have it sent over? They couldn’t be bothered to make it right. Shame.

Theyre great shop and they do everything that theyre supposed to do. Great customer service, they explain everything. The ultimate is that they actually offer munchies and soda and various different coffees and hot chocolate. To me they are totally worth going out for going out of your way. Keep up the good work guys. Oh and theyre quick. I was in and out in 20 minutes for two scratches. Still the munchies are the best.
When I could get a hold of the Actual shop they were great customer service was good. The numbers on the safelite website for the company not the shop are trash.
The price was kinda high but no other place had my windshield. I would say it was worth the price. the windshield is beautiful again and I was in and out in about 45 minutes.Lifetime warranty is nice too.
While the service and timely repair were outstanding, the actual result was far from the commercials. The bullseye damage was still clearly a bullseye when they were finished. This was explained to me prior to the repair, so I knew going in it may not completely go away. But for what I paid compared to what the repair looks like, I am kind of disappointed.Hopefully, the repair will do its job and keep the bullseye from spreading.But seriously, consider a DIY kit for $10
My appointment was today which is Tuesday. I waited a week for my appointment. My time frame came and went only for me to call & find out they didnt receive my regulator. Now Im waiting to see if the dealership has the part which ultimate will raise my quote. Which I dont understand because you are inconveniencing me. I may change my review when I receive my new quote. Well see!!!***update I was able to buy my own part and Ill have to bring my car in on Thursday.
Was able to make an appointment for 30 from time of my window chipping. They had me in and out in 30min. Went from a vary noticeable chip that was spreading to a hardly noticeable shimmer in the window.
Confirmed appointment would be completed today and after waiting 30 minutes was told it would have to be done on a different day.EDIT: I was told it would be done the following Monday and the repair wasnt done until the middle of the week. It went from being a same-day Saturday appointment to a Monday repair to a middle of the following week.
Went to drop my car off at 4:40 and they all just decided to leave early and close so there was no one there during the end of business hours, so first sign of a great business structure. Then get a call the next day that they broke the replacement glass and were unable to install it, okay things happen maybe they can get a glass from down the street, nope now you have to wait three days. Ended the call by just kind of passing the buck and excuses.Place is kind of a joke

I I have used Safelite in the past and had a good experience but I am not certain that I will use them again unless I find out that this situation will be rectified to the fullest extent.I contacted you to report a criminal offense by one of your drivers who was dangerous, disrespectful, and should be fired. This was not a minor occurrence. I nearly ran into me and continued to come into my lane even when I honked at him. He nearly killed me twice.I have called your 800-number and lodged a formal complaint. I provided the license plate and driver number from the van’s offending driver. I will want to know the outcome of this event because while driving infractions happen all the time and accidents do happen, this person was completely disrespectful during and afterward, even grinning at me when he got up beside me. He was quite intentional in his recklessness & spitefulness.

Dont go to this place, Ive gone here 3 times in the last 5 months and the initial was to replace the windshield. The second time was to get a chip repaired and now again for the exact same spot to be repaired under warranty and the manager tried to tell me that a rock hit it in the same exact spot that the technician repaired. Tell me how a rock hit the exact same spot on the windshield that your technician repaired and now I would have to pay another $500 for you to replace it less than half a year in? The guarantee in the back states that the crack will not get bigger from their repair and now I have to replace this windshield and this guy tried to lie to my face. The only safelite Ive been too more than once out of 3 safelites Ive been to.
I had a failed inspection so needed a Windshield fast, so I decided to pay more than the going rate by going with Safelight. I tried to call the company to ensure they could complete the service due to parts availability and todays weather. You are not allowed to talk to a person they make you schedule it online. Fine no problem. So I jump through all the hoops to do this (thankfully I chose to pay when the service was done) and it allows me to pick today (because the computer doesnt know the weather maybe they should have a person doing this?). Then I get a call later saying they cant do it. Could have saved time by allowing me to call in and speak to a person rather than have me jump through hoops and imply that I could get it today.
I was in a jam, the rear view mirror was off the windshield. They prepped and installed...No charge.....what a deal.....Hey if you need glass work, this is the place to go. Good service, friendly help........
Very good customer service. Ive been here before for cracks and stars. I had insurance but its nice to see that the prices would have been much lower if I had to pay out of pocket 100%. Also, my glass took and hour and half instead of the estimate of 3 hours. Ill be back!

Initial install had defect. Got a rock chip on my way to get it replaced. Which is a trip i wouldnt have taken if installed correctly the first time without defects. The warrenty was voided due to the rock chip on a trip i shouldnt have never taken if it was installed without defects the first time.
I had a chip /star in my windshield fro a kicked up rock, I wanted to get it fixed before it could spread, made an appointment and was InI and out in under 30 min 👍

James from Safelite AutoGlass came out to make repairs to my windshield on my 2016 Ford F350, Initially there was only a small chip in the windshield, upon him completing the repairs I noticed that the small chip now had cracks on either side of my windshield. I informed him that he cracked my windshield, & his only comment was that he had warned me that that could happen. I called Safelite to complain, & there response was that they would use the cost of the repairs towards the replacement of the Windshield with the difference of $473.00 dollars coming out of my pocket for his incompetence. I will never use Safelite AutoGlass for any repairs in the future.
The whole experience was great!All the staff that I have interacted with via phone or in person were cordial, professionals and up front with all the specifics. Everything were explained before and after the windshield was installed on my 05 Mustang GT, with a lifetime warranty to go with it. It now feels like I’m driving a brand new car because of the quality of workmanship and product.Tim Rupert, the technician completed the job faster than I’ve expected... even vacuumed the interior carpet.Superb customer service and I highly recommend to anyone that needs auto windshield repair or service! I had my windshield replaced by this company 3 years ago. Since then I have really bad wind noise coming from around my windshield. I took my truck to their shop several times to have it fixed and was always told there was nothing to fix. Now my windshield has wind noise and it whistles. I made an appointment for them to come out and fix it. When the guy arrived he looked at my windshield and told me that they couldn’t fix or replace my windshield under warranty because the windshield has one tiny blemish. He said he would be glad to replace it but it will cost me a little over 300.00. I explained that I had taken my truck back to their shop several times and they did nothing. Poor guy all he could say is I’m sorry but I can’t do it under warranty. I said that’s fine I’ll give my money to someone else. I will never use Safelight again.

I took my vehicle into have a warranty check because they replace the glass the year ago. The manager came out and without even looking at it 2 seconds said no, this is not covered. Something hit it. There was no mark on the glass at all but he met up in Mark and said that caused it and they would not cover it. Just the way to get around a warranty. Very dissatisfied

I got a crack in my windshield that spread quite quickly. Safelite came to my work location and took care of it quickly and without any problem. They called and let me know when they were on their way, and even did my purchasing over the phone, seeing that I was not able to pay them in person. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
My second time here with the same car in 5 years. They great job the first time, minus gluing a trim strip down, which they fixed later 2 days later for me. The second time every went even better. They even replaced the trim piece at no extra charge, and the whole thing was also discounted.
The wrong windshield was ordered twice. Complete waste of time.
Second time there. First time was OK. Very similar damage on different car. Very small chip. Guy went through a long explanation at end about how they would give me a refund......towards a new windshield......if it didnt pass inspection or I didnt like it. Turns out there could have been a reason for that. Get out to my car and it looks zero different. Kept the receipt for inevitable inspection failure but seems like a scam to get you to replace ur windshield.

Used a coupon and got a good deal, lady eas extremely nice and service only toom an hour, tried to upsell some cleaner (as they should) but did not press or harass me like most auto places, surprisingly great service, no issues with windshield after 3 weeks so far

Safelite AutoGlass on Tulip Dr in Virginia Beach could not have been more helpful in having my car window fixed. They quickly set an appointment for us, checked us in quickly upon arrival, let us know how long it would take, and gave us several updates while we were waiting. In addition to that, they not only vacuumed up the broken glass on the passenger side, but vacuumed the whole car. The staff was helpful, polite, and efficient. Thank you Safelite team for getting us in and out so quickly!
After a damned ole thief broke the back glass of our Rav4, we went to Safelite to get a new one installed. It was going to be a few days before the glass came in, but they vacuumed up all the loose glass and put on a plastic crash wrap. It took about 15 minutes. When they installed the new glass a few days later, it took about an hour. They have a comfortable waiting room with free beverages and snacks. Everyone who works here is very friendly and professional.
The whole process was quick and easy. Didnt try to jacked the price up or make me pay for something I didnt need. Good customer service.

These guys have replaced multiple windshields, in multiple vehicles for me. As well as replacing my rear glass in my car recently. They do great work.
Making the appointment was quick and easy. I brought it in and the job was done in about an hour. They even vacuumed my car. Hopefully I dont have to have my windshield replaced again, but if I do I know where I will have it done.

Insurance company brought me here for a full windshield replacement.Arrived at my scheduled time, took my car into the garage before I even got in my wifes car to go wait elsewhere. Took exactly the hour they had told me, and the price was exactly as quoted. But above all, the technician cleaned up the wiring I have for my dashcam - ran it under all the trim and molding in my front dashboard, where before it was just on top of the entire dash. It was very surprising and looks way better than my personal job at it. I am very pleased.
After four visits regarding getting my windshield replaced and recalibrated, its hard to say Safelite is just okay. However the technicians were nice and courteous and some seemed knowledgeable. I believe one of the technicians knew the calibration was not working but told me that it was. The admin person behind desk at Greenbriar seemed to be confrontational the first time I had to go back and get the sensors replaced, so I went to the Virginia Beach Location where they provided great service but the replacement sensors didnt work. They sent a tech out to replace and it worked but noticed that my windshield was beveled on the right side. Thats when the tech from Greenbriar came out replaced that windshield and told me everything was working. After calling Safelite to say it was not calibrated, I had to go to the location and they were unable to calibrate the safety features. I then scheduled another appointment where I had to go to the location and they put in the OEM windshield. I was called to pick up my vehicle and again experienced curtness from admin behind desk.Im sure Safelite is a good company. I just had a bad experience.
I did everything online like the number said I could when I called. I filled the check in the block multiple times stating I understood the rear view mirror would need to be calibrated at a later time, after all the car was not going to be driven for a week. They came out and right as the tech started working he was called off the job because they weren’t able to do the 300$ calibration outside of the shop, which I knew, and they knew based on the website agreement, and checked that’d I’d have to get done at the dealership. Extremely frustrating. Don’t give the option to waive the calibration if you still won’t replace the windshield without the customer paying you not only 500$ for the windshield but 300$ to calibrate it in the shop.
I had to get my driver side window replaced. They were very fast at getting me in to have it done and working with the insurance company was fast. They did a great job!
I had my window repaired last week by them. Went online to make the appointment which was easy to do. Repair tech came to the house as scheduled. Took the tech about an hour to repair. 2 days after the repair, I rolled the window down, no issue. The minute I rolled it up, a piece of the trim was bent and would not close the window. I went online and scheduled an appointment for them to come out to repair the trim. They came out (a different tech) and said they would need to contact the manage on the situation. They did, who called the tech who did the initial repairs and said they wouldnt repair the trim since they didnt need to take it off when they did the repairs. Im very dissatisfied with that answer. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone if thats the type of service to expect.
Initially everything seemed to be going great. However after just a month and a half since my windshield repair, my rearview mirror has just fallen off of my windshield. Over the past couple of weeks I noticed I had to keep adjusting it because it was drooping. Well today after trying to adjust it, the entire thing came off. They used the stuff used for plugging tires to stick the mirror to the windshield.
Very very efficient! Loved them. If I ever need car glass repair or replacement, I will go there.

Have to take the car again because the camera and safety system camera were not set up correctly, one month after i got the car back the mirror and the middle cover fell out of place.Don’t recommend this store at all.

Weve been waiting and driving with a half way cracked windshield for 3 weeks. Only time we hear something from them is when WE contact them trying to find out whats going on, and only answer we get every time is, the parts are still on back order, waiting on the delivery from dealership .... Those advertisement...? Whay a joke.

The good: Tech was nice and arrived on time.The bad: frame does not fit my windshield, horrible looking eyesore that I just spent a bunch of money on. The guy said he couldnt get it to fit because of the age of my car… (99) Youd think hed have to deal with that before. So now I spent 346 to have a gap between my car and windshield frame because he couldnt take the time to make it work. So I am more than likely going to have to spend more money to fix his mistake. Very unsatisfied with this experience.

First we started by trying a repair, which did not take so then I scheduled a replacement, they call the morning of the appointment to report that the windshield they got in was damaged and they would call me back to get scheduled. So 2 days later I call them and get put on hold for 5 minutes then the phone goes dead. So I call back and get the same woman, they never ordered the new windshield and simply said we dont know why it wasnt. No apology nothing, so I say this will be the last time I use them and she said thats fine we dont care horrible service....
Replaced drivers door glass. Auto close window no longer works. Technician tried to convince me that the dealer has to reset this, but the dealer says the door needs to be disassembled and properly assembled to fix this problem. Now I have to pay twice to get this window fixed.
