First time here, but definitely not my last. We had a great lunch and the owner treated us to a few specials to sample. We were given a taste of their Crumb Cake and their house Pastrami and I promise, if you go to this location just for those two items, you will not be disappointed. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious and they have lots of different options to choose from. Obviously, their bagels are AMAZING. I asked if my sons could try a little if the cream cheese, we tried em all and I honestly could smear them on anything- amazing flavors and textures. The bagels, com on- my kids love the rainbow one and my wife gets the roasted garlic. I go egg. We get em as a sandwich. Everything made from scratch right in front of us. Just wanted to say thank you guys for doing what you do. You were so nice n gave me an xtra crumb cake when I came to pick it up, thank god too my kids ate them so fast I didn’t get a bite of the first. Love you guys be blessed

Super super disappointed. I just drove 30 min for a bagel and when I got there they were closed 15 min early. I called 30 min prior to them closing, trying to place an order, and noone answered. Really bummed. Just drove 30 min home empty handed and hungry

A little taste of home in Virginia Beach! I moved down to vb from ny 6 years ago and was never able to find a good bagel spot. Well that all changed when I came across this hidden gem on my way to work! I was able to order my old usual bacon egg and cheese on a garlic bagel with a chocolate milk. Absolutely amazing!

Small piece of Brooklyn, NYC implanted in a big way in the heart of Virginia Beach! Amazing! Bagels, cream cheese, muffins, coffee cakes and more. Can not get anything closer to a NYC bagel shop than one where the owners ARE from the big city and know how the perfect bagel should be. Our new favorite spot. The owners have truly done something big. Five stars!

You wont find a better bagel anywhere close by. Extensive menu and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Worth a try, this is a premium option so of course its more then fast food.

The only thing missing in our area was a good bagel spot until Brooklyn Bagels came along. My dad is from New York and loves the bagels as do all of us. The staff is so kind and the food is all fresh and good. This is a family owned business so please support this over a chain so we can not only support small business but a good one that deserves it. I highly recommend. Even the baby approves...I share half my bagel with him..now I order him his own!

Customer service is top notch, just as the pizzeria! Came here after having delicious pizza and was not disappointed with the eye candy of big sized bagels, variety of cream cheese and salads to choose from. They also have potato knishes, black & white cookies and pastrami from up north too!!! Man, if you are missing food from back home, visit these 2 places and have a small dose of real food ... NYers will get the reference ;) The Cookie Monster bagel was so good that I ate it without cream cheese!

Severely over-priced average bagels, a terrible website to try and order from, orders are frequently made wrong, and there’s no way to remedy this because they rarely answer the phone. That’s how long it took for our online order to be ready... waiting with a hungry kid and dog in the car was exactly how I wanted to spend my “relaxing” Sunday morning. If they can’t handle the orders, they should close online ordering. You can’t even get anyone on the phone to cancel or address the issue. If I wanted to wait that long I’d go to the plethora of brunch places nearby.

On Fathers Day, June 20, my wife placed an online order for four bagels and she drove from 20 minutes away to pick up the bagels to bring them back for a nice breakfast. Two of the bagels ordered were lox, cream cheese, and capers. Turns out, no lox, only cream cheese and capers. I called Brooklyn Bagels 5 times to find out what happened and how it can be rectified, no answer each time. The 6th time, I left a message. Still no response from them. These lox bagels are pricey, and I dont mind paying it, as long as we get what was ordered. This did not happen, no call back from the restaurant, no nothing. This was our first and last time visiting. Customer service goes a long way, guess they dont care...

Good bagels but after ordering online and providing my phone number that was required I received 2 telemarketing phone calls with in one hour. I have not given my number to anyone in months and have not received any telemarketing calls. I strongly suggest not to give them any personal information. Really disappointed in this company.

Often times restaurants use up north names but don’t hold up to the up north taste. Brooklyn Bagels is everything tristate! You just have to go and see for yourself!

I LOVE their loose bagels with the honey walnut spread. They make a great snack or breakfast. Five Burroughs is my favorite bagel sandwich. It is AMAZING and so filling! I will keep coming back.

This place was amazing and the staff is so friendly. We vacation in Sandbridge from Ohio almost every year and I am so sad this place isnt back home. Dont be put off by the long breakfast line, they hustle and get your order out quickly.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I am from Brooklyn, NY and I have lived here for over 24 years- when I go to NY to visit I used to have to stock up on Bagels and Rolls, not anymore. This is the ONLY place I will purchase a bagel from, I mean when you say extra cream cheese they do it in true Brooklyn fashion. I hear they have a Pizza Place here now as well- I cant wait to try that also!

Website does not allow for a “remove cheese” option. Called the store and was told just to leave a note to remove cheese. Got the bagel with cheese on it still and a can’t eat it (this happened more than once). Nearly impossible to call ahead, and if you haven’t paid already you may wait over 30 min to get your food. If I wanted this much hassle to get food I’d go to a sit down restaurant. At least then I’d get what I ordered and the staff would be helpful and friendly. I went there for months due to convenient proximity, but I’d rather make the effort to go anywhere else. Terrible way to start your day off.

Well worth the drive! Truly delicious NY bagels. They are big and fluffy. The 🌈 bagel was a hit with my kids. I had an everything with bacon, egg and cheese then I was asked if I wanted hashbrowns and I got them. Delicious and filling!! A definite repeat. Now they need a location closer to chesapeake!

Visited on a Sunday morning for the first time. I was pleased to see how many people were coming in and out of the place and thought “It must be good!” I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese. If you like spicy, I recommend the Jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. The bagels are huge so I ended up splitting one and saving the other for later. It was still delicious after 2 days (reheated in microwave for 30 sec). Order came out quickly and accurately. Customer service was great. I will be back on the regular as I am now interested in trying their sandwiches! After learning they own a pizza shop nearby as well, I am excited to try it out and leave a review. Please support local businesses especially during this time!!

My hubby and I are from NY and one of the foods we miss most is: bagels. And these bagels definitely give us that NY feeling! Theyre really good and the staff is super friendly. When we started talking about NY things, the guy at the counter asked if weve had the pastrami, which we had not. He gave us a sample and omg it was so good. Were definitely gonna have to take a trip back for lunch!

Ok. This is a good bagel. The coffee was good, too, very smooth. It’s the kind of place you want to stay busy so that it sticks around for awhile. So do the rest of the area a favor and come eat these good bagels and coffee so that they stay open so I can eat another bagel here when I’m in Virginia again.

The best bagels in Virginia Beach, and dare I say the seven cities!Bagels where good with a good outside and a dense but chewy dough. Had a color swirl and a blueberry bagel. Also got egg and cheese sandwiches also fast and good. Lastly got some muffins that where also very good.Staff was friendly and service was fast. We will be back for sure!

I walked in and the smell alone brought me home to NJ. They could tell I was from NY/NJ right away by my excitement for Taylor Ham and then proceeded to guess my entire order... She nailed it!!! The crumb cakes and bakery items are imported from NY and the coffee is also made with the NY water filtration system. I wish I could give them 10 stars. This place is amazing!!!!!!!!

I asked for plain and everything bagels and they were out of them. I can understand that, so I ordered toasted sesame bagels (2 with cream cheese and 1 with butter). I ordered iced coffee and was told they had no more. Immediately after I paid a whole bin of everything bagels came out. As I waited for my order I saw other customers leaving with iced coffee. My order took a few minutes and when I asked if my order was ready I was told that they don’t recommend toasted bagels because they take more time. Well now I’m thinking what do you recommend because you didn’t have anything I asked for (although I saw other customers with them). Finally the icing on the cake...I opened up the buttered bagel and there was NO butter. At this point I’m in the car leaving from vacation so I can’t fix the no butter situation. Very disappointing!!!!!!In response to the owners...then you should try communicating better with your customers. Instead of just saying you are out of an item, say it will be “x” amount of minutes until that is ready. As for the iced coffee then just tell me you can add ice to hot coffee instead of letting me see other customers walk out of your establishment with iced coffee when you told me there was none.

The service alone wins 5-stars. I don’t know why it’s so hard for some businesses to understand that customer service is the trump card. Thanks for making me feel like you cared that I came in to enjoy a bagel from your business today. I’ll definitely be returning.

Im from New York and this is the closest Ive found in the Hampton roads area for real NY Bagels. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Coffee is first rate! I took some bagels home they were that good.

The #42 Jackie Robinson is my Favorite, Very Soft Bagels, and even a different type of water! You can even buy their Everything Bagel seasoning!

I was disappointed. The only nice thing about here is the friendly service. There is nothing special about the bagels. Its very bland. Theres no jalapenos in the jalapeno bagel, it wasnt spicy at all. Theres no seasoning in the sandwiches. The hashbrowns are soggy and very oily. The honey walnut spread had no walnuts in it, didnt even taste sweet like it does at other bagel shops. The coffee is weak & watered down. I didnt find it filling or satisfying to pay $25 for 2 sandwiches & 2 drinks.

There is no other place in Hampton Roads that makes a better bagel. When I visit my wife’s family from NY we look forward to real bagels. I can’t believe there are real bagels here in the 757. My visit to Brooklyn Bagles was a hit. They are very cordial and your order is ready in a jiffy. Although covid precautions prevented an eat in experience, I still was happy that I tried them out. They have a great selection of bagles and some tasty offerings. I tried the Lox n cream cheese bagle... Williamsburg style... and took home some Everything bagles and a cinnamon raisin. These bagles are GREAT.... tasty, moist and chewy. Ill be sure to come back when we can hang out and eat in!!

What happened to baker’s dozen? The bagels are just okay what’s not okay is 2 dozen bagels and a 16 oz cream cheese for 51.00....!!!! That’s insane. Will go back to Einstein bagel where at least I don’t get price gouged.

Stopped here for the first time today after letting the new place rush die off a bit. Our bagels were large fresh and warm. Cream cheese was a bit runny but thats because the bagel was just made. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices seem on par with the other bagel places i have visited in the VAB area, some things higher some same. The reason I deducted 1 star is the size of the joint. There were about 18 people in there as I entered most of them waiting for food but instead of standing to the side they were hogging the few seats that are available staring at their phones, so its best to do a to go order just be kind and leave the seats open for people that need them and people that are dining in.

Took almost 50 minutes to make 2 bagels. They also got our order wrong. Extremely inefficient process inside - People who walked in and ordered received food well before people who ordered online. Wasn’t even very crowded, just painfully slow to fill orders.

Being from NY and NJ, this place feels like home. Their food is authentic and we come there every Saturday or Sunday and grab breakfast
