This was my first visit and very possibly my last. Three of us went to grab what we thought was a quick bite to eat on 9/10/21 around 11:15 AM. The cashier, Kemba was not customer friendly and moved at a very slow pace. The store was out of many of the kolaches we saw online. I chose a cheese steak, an Italian chicken kolache and a cinnamon bun. The food was very flavorful. I only wish the roll was filled with more of the topping because you get a lot of bread which is tasty... but I wanted more filling. The cinnamon bun was delicious. My friends orange cranberry muffin was good but her steak kolache was practically all bread. The drive thru appeared to be moving at a very fast pace. Inside was a waste of time.

Basic... I asked for bacon, egg and cheese Kolache I recieved a bacon and egg w/o cheese. I also order Cinnamon bun, super dry. At least I can say I experienced it but wasnt worth the hype.

I frequent here and I’m never disappointed! There is a member of the team here, a young woman with red hair, that for the life of me I can’t remember her name. She is always so pleasant and responds with “thank you love”. She always raises my spirits when I go in. The food is delicious and the service stellar. You won’t be disappointed!

The inside is open now and instead of getting the annoying look for walking in with our 5 kids all under 10 we felt welcome! The food was delicious and the customer service by Mr. Edward was amazing! so kind and so professional. 5 stars thanks to Mr.Edward for sure!

Great spinache kolaches!! Prices no too bad either

This is the best breakfast/lunch dinner Ive ever been to. Ill never eat fast food for breakfast ever again. Have a variety of different kinds of kola he. My favorite is the cheeseburger

One star, because geeze you can’t open the lobby for take away ? Like that’s to Rona-noid…Or at least find a way to speed up the drive through. Otherwise 5 stars because if you have been to houston you know how good they are, but you also know the entire premise of a Kolache is a fast takeaway food.

Imagine Dunkin but with Hawaiian sweet rolls stuffed with an assortment of fillings - breakfast, lunch, dessert. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Variety of vegetarian options, and the team marks the box when purchasing by the dozen. Food can be heated for you or taken room temp to heat at home/office. Filling and delicious, definitely recommend.

Although they only had a limited selection of their products available after 9am it really wouldnt have made a difference. It was my first time trying them. The customer service was good and the product was ok but in my opinion not worth a second trip.

Kolache is factory is a great place for a different option for breakfast or lunch. They have so many different option from sweet to savory. Coffee is great too!

They say all good things must come to an end. Your prices increased 15-26% on the items I purchase. Prices are going up everywhere but thats a substantial increase. To make it worse, youve stopped the bounce back. With no notice given and not honoring the ones you literally just gave out a few days ago. Factor that in with the price increase and overall its almost double the cost now. No thank you! I guess this is to pay for the commercials that I see on TV all the time now? The quality of the food isnt even consistent in terms of freshness and how made. One day I can get one of the best cinnamon rolls ever and the next day get one thats hard as a brick thats largely inedible. Or a pizza kolache thats great one day and the next has maybe 1 slice of pepperoni and no cheese. You really needed to improve your operations before running commercials to get more customers, much less double your prices.

The kolaches are really good, my husband loves trying a variety of flavors including the brisket and more traditional flavors like egg, bacon and cheese. The dough is very tasty, just a lot of dough to filling ratio. I also tried the cinnamon roll which was really large and good. We will be back again when we are driving to and from Virginia Beach.

Good food, the place itself is pretty nice too. I was a bit surprised it looked like a chain restaurant but its not as far as I know. Definitely will come back

Its been a few years since I last visited and I remember why I havent gone back. Not only has the price gone up the ingredients lack as well. I ordered the pull pork and it was so small! Meat was dry. I also order 3 bacon egg and cheese for the same price as the pork. It was a little bigger but wheres the bacon and cheese???? It was all eggs! I want to like being a czech native but its not worth the money. I would gladly pay if the ingredients were there.

The food is good always fast and delicious

I always like going here when Im up early enough and get the chance to! Their kolaches are amazing; I recommend the jalapeno popper and the pizza ones! Will definitely be back!

We received cold stale food, I guess 2 hours from the end of the day the quality goes down. Nice employees but horrible food.

Did online ordering. Went through the drive thru..only took a few mins. The hot cocoa is divine!! The philly cheesesteak and baconeggncheese kolaches were perfect and the strawberry kolache was delicious!! Will be back! 😍

My first review of kolache factory was 2 years ago. It was okay but not great. Ive been there multiple times since and it has really gotten better. Thats what Im updating my review to five stars.

Today I stopped in and bought 4 kolaches however after I pulled away from the window I was missing one, I also asked for them to be hot and they were cold. I had to return to get my order fixed after waiting in line at the drive thru. After leaving and while attempting to eat the steak and egg kolache I bought, it didnt have any steak inside; just egg. I didnt feel like driving back so I just threw it away....

The store and surrounding areas were clean. The staff was courteous. The food was good. Prices are reasonable.

I got my order on time, good was great. However, I dont think the food was MY food. Very similar but I got a couple extra of one flavor and none of another. And I got 2 free kolaches instead of one. Im not complaining, since its all good, but might want to work on organization.

Where to start... You want sweet, savory, spicy, & anything in between, This is the place. Fantastic bread/dough with a hint of sweetness filled with just about anything you could dream. Sausage Gravy, Eggs & Sausage, Philly Cheese Steak, Jalapeno Popper, Meatball, Creamed Spinach, Fruit... The list goes on! I selected an assortment to try as many as possible. The fruit & cheese pastry style a wonderful warm or room temperature. The flavor of the month Turkey & Stuffing was definitely a favorite. I didnt get to try everything, but I will get there! The iced coffee was great too smooth & not bitter. Cant wait to pickup some during my next visit.

Best rolls ever! The most convenient breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert youve ever tried. Kolache of the month was kind of expensive and little, but delicious! Will visit again now that I know what they are! If only they made sweet potato fluff or ube filled ones...

We gave this place 3 tries because the kolaches are so good. Unfortunately, if they mess up your order no refunds, and no replacements. The first time ordering at 11, the order wasnt ready until 12:45. Second time, they forgot half of our order. Today we ordered online and arrived an hour after the order was placed. We waited in line for 20 minutes, they didnt heat up our order, and the cashier forgot that she had our card. Not worth it.

Awesome place. The place is clean and the aviance is cozy. The staff was very nice and did an awesome job boxing my order! The 1 downfall is that the Kolache’s that I’m used to is a flaky crust. They also didn’t have the Kolache cookies.

The kolaches are great but if there are 4-5 cars in the drive-thru, youre going to be waiting at least 30 minutes. Any more than that and you mind as well go somewhere else. Good food but they really need to figure out a better system for the drive thru because its not working.

I love Kolache, Im a big fan of Kolache Factory... What Im not a big fan of, is massive wait times, my order being wrong and then my Kolache being undercooked and still cold in the center. Was really disappointed. If it werent for my long running love for this chain - and it being a staple of every visit to Houston - theyd get no stars.

TL;DR - Terrible customer serviceHad an online order to pick up, but couldn’t get any help. Old lady was taking a long time at the only open register. Register woman apologized but no one else in the store would help me. One person had a clipboard, looked like they were taking inventory, another worker was outside. Never got my food. Will never return here.

Made EXACTLY like my Czech grammas kolaches! I close my eyes and Im right back in her farm kitchen. The poppyseed and apricot are spot on and we buy a dozen every visit. Call ahead to order to make sure you get your favorites!

My cinnamon roll was very hard as well as my sticky bun, however the sausage in a bun was good.

Im going to be as fair as possible, my experience up to this point have been great, prompt service, fresh good and a super great experience. Today was the first time that my order was incorrect, the food was hard and cold and the service was super slow. However after finding out the order was wrong and not so fresh we called them back and they explained that they were understaffed, and profusely apologized for the inconvenience, and refunded our order while offering to correct it in a future order. All in all the food is amazing and the service in general is above average so it is worth the try!

Love their food! Have had a few issues with order mistakes in the past, and sometimes the drive thru can move a little slow, but theyre food keeps me going back.

Went in not knowing what to expect, and man was I blown away. These are so much more than pigs in a blanket. I had Chicken Enchilada, Brisket, Sausage Egg and Cheese and Philly Cheese steak. The Chicken Enchilada was my favorite and this place is in the good to go list now.

First time ever having a Kolache and I gotta say, LOVE THEM. Walked in with my wife with the intention of getting a few for the breakfast drive home and ended up getting 2 dozen... yes, every flavor sounded amazing and they WERE! I am lucky this place isnt closer to where I live because it would be very very bad for my waistline. You cannot go wrong with any flavor, they have savory, sweet, and everything in between. The buns have a great fluffy texture but are still robust enough to hold all the fillings they cram into them.

Ordered online your instructions online were to call the store for details. Called the store multiple times no one answered. Got to the store no curbside area ended up sitting in the drive thru trying to get instructions. Curbside took 25 minutes. Not customer friendly. Not sure why you would offer the convenience of curbside pickup when its neither curbside or convenient. Got to the drive thru window to read the sign that says avoid the line order ahead of time. Not a good look. Then to top it off they got the order wrong. Missing drinks and food items in the order.

I visited the Kolache Factory today for the first time since hearing about how awesome their food and service is from a friend and let me just tell you they did NOT disappoint! I wanted to try everything! I also had a coupon I was able to use which was a huge bonus, the girl taking my order forgot to put in my coupon (things happen, but definitely didn’t take away from my great service I was given) and they took care of me accordingly! I will definitely be back! Such awesome service, very polite and fast and everything was delicious! Wish there were more stars to give!

Sometimes can take awhile in the drive-thru asked for 2 of my kolache not to be warmed and 4 to be warmed but it was opposite

Went too late (1:30pm) and they were out of everything we wanted.Very disappointing.

We enjoy going to Kolache Factory. The food is very good. We just need more than one in the Hampton Roads Area. Keep up the good work.

The mild Polish sausage kolache is amazing! Just be sure to call ahead to make sure they have what you want in stock. I called to place a pick-up order 45 minutes before closing, and the girl I spoke to made it sound like they were already out of food and closing up shop. I hope business isnt hurting!

The food is great and cheap ! But right now during covid, the drive thru is rough.. I spend so much time waiting just to find out what I want is not available, which would be fine if the next thing I ask for was available. Every time I hear let me check if we have that... we are out of (what you want) it gets more and more irritating. If only there was a way to see what was not available, it would save us all so much time.. or if the inside was open... that would also save us alot of time....

Had high hopes, especially after all the raving reviews. Purchased an assortment of breakfast, savory and sweet kolache...and they were all BLAND. Lack of seasoning was off putting. Maybe authentic kolaches are supposed to be bland? Idk but I do know about Texas kolache...and there is no comparison. (A little salt and pepper would have made a big difference)Add to the blandness the fact that several dough layers for the breakfast kolaches were not cooked through. The outsides were not golden brown but a pale color and inside consisted of uncooked dough stuffed with bland food. Needless to say, will not be returning.

Went this morning, Kolaches are decent, but service is terrible. Don’t order more than a few kolaches bc they will not give you the correct order. Additionally, most of them aren’t marked to identify what is what so you leave the drive thru hoping the employee got it right. This is why I don’t come here often or order more than 3 items.

OMG...Are u kidding?! Forget the methadone clinic. Take my behindt to the kolache withdrawal clinic! I came in to get a dozen (mixed) to take back home to mom. Figured Id eat just one out of the go box while sitting there. Sorry mom. Let me tell u something, forget about it. U cant eat just one kolache. These things are more addictive than crack. I hear they have one of these in Texas. Have a biz trip out there in a few months, and will go out of my way 2 track that place down.

$24 in Kolaches. Several were dried and hard like they had been microwaved and put back on the shelf. They also substituted several of the savory/protein containing kolaches or messed up on the order. The flavor of the month, caramel apple was very sweet with a variety of apple that is flavorless. Family was disappointed. Looking at the photos in other reviews with Kolaches full of meat and filling is surprising. The ones we received didn’t even have a tablespoon of meat with the insides mostly dough.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Sweet or savory tastes all hidden inside a yeasty, slightly sweet bread roll. Also have some typical pastries. They taste amazing! Only open from 6 am-2pm so plan accordingly. Definitely worth the stop!

I ordered online this morning, it said my order should be ready in about an hour. When we went to pick it up an hour later, they told us to pull around front and they would run it out. 15 minutes pass we call, they apologized for the wait and then told us it would be out soon. 10 minutes later they came out without the coffee nbd we grabbed the coffee after we told them. after leaving we realized there were about 3-4 pastries missing from the bag. we called back they told us they were out of those items and that we would be refunded when a manager got in but they could give us the other items they did have in stock. SO, we go back, get our pastries and everything is good.what i mainly wanted to highlight was that an employee there named IMANI really turned this WHOLE experience around with how kind and thoughtful she was. she was truly joyful and really handled the situation well. she provided amazing costumer service and because of this we will 100% be back. THANK YOU IMANI!

Where has this place been all my life?? We rarely get to this part of Va Beach, and just so happened to have a doctors appointment in the building next door. Walked over for a coffee beforehand, and WOW! Kolaches --- fresh, sweet, doughty concoctions, with all kinds of different fillings, from fruits to Carolina pulled pork to Polish sausage to breakfast eggs/cheese/sausage, and so many more varieties. My hands down favorites are the creamed spinach, and the sweet cream cheese. And CHEAP! --- @ +/- $2.00 each, youre full after two, plus maybe a coffee. A GREAT SPOT --- we definitely need one of these in the Great Neck section of the Beach!!

I placed an online order and after an hour of waiting, we received an email as our only form of contact to let me know that they completely canceled my order. No phone call or any kind of apology.

Food was GREAT !!, but no need to fill drinks all the way to the top in Drive-thru, when you grab the cup, theres no where for the fluid to go, besides up through the hole in the lid for the straw... makes a mess

Friendly staff and fresh kolaches. Pricing is wonderful as well with a huge variety. Only concern was that everyone there (including customers) wear mask except for one gentleman every time.

Place is a solid place for a unique meal. Whether it’s breakfast or lunch the little pastry/roll stuffed with your favorite things whether it be sausage egg and cheese or buffalo chicken they’ve got you covered. Even your standard tasty danishs are a solid way to start your week!
