Loved coming here, it was really cute inside and the coffee was delicious. There is a parking lot outside so parking wasnt an issue. Seating was available both inside and outside and it was quite with some music that was nice.I ordered the Trifecta coffee with Candied Fog syrup and it was super good. They have some baked goods for sale and most of them are gluten free options. They also sell quiches and oatmeal that they can prepare too. Friend staff and the seating is really comfortable.

Great service here, I was greeted immediately upon entrance. I ordered the caramel iced macchiato, which was fantastic! The brown sugar cookie was sooo soft and so delightful to enjoy on my day off! The barista seemed to enjoy her job and was very lovely! The modern atmosphere gives off such a cool vibe. Thanks for a pleasant first visit!

This is a very good coffee shop. I live in Chicago and travel often to many places and have coffee and read. The owner of this place is doing everything right. Good natural light. Great sturdy tables and great seating at windows.. Good coffee, great staff, music(not too loud) and temperature are always is always perfect. This is a very good place.

Stopped in to R/R on my way to hit golf balls. Girl behind the counter was incredibly nice and recommended a great coffee for me (loved it!)...Place has a terrific, relaxed feel whether you want to hang there or take it to go. Only negative is the coffee did nothing for my golf game... Tell some friends and be sure to visit...Highly recommend!!!

Omg this place was so awesome!! Cutest little local coffee shop with apparel, food, pastries muffins from My Vegan Sweet Tooth, smoothies, cold coffee, hot coffee, house-made syrups, they even sell their cold brew concentrate! Im sorry I live so far away. But I will visit everytime Im in the area! I got their Trifecta with almond milk and sugar-free vanilla ( unfortunately theyre only sugar-free syrup) and it is delicious!!!!

This morning I was sitting down talking with my girlfriend drinking our coffee when the employee came over to tell us their new mask policy. We were told that you now have to wear a mask sitting down the whole time even if you are drinking or eating. This is absolutely ridiculous especially since we were the only ones in there. This is stricter than even flying on a commercial airplane. No place anywhere has stupid rules like this. They permanently lost us as regular customers.

Milk was sour. Coffee was cold and tasteless.

The coffee here is five stars. They really do make the most amazing bakery items and specialty coffee drinks. Even so, I have to say it’s pretty pricey. I get a flavored oat milk latte which is $7- $8 or $9 with tip. But if you’re already spending the money I would spend it here a million times over instead of Starbucks.

Hands down the only cup of coffee you should be buying in VB. The owners are some of the best people I have met, and they have navigated covid better than most. Thanks for prioritizing our health!

Coffee was pretty darn good. Had a very slight sour taste to it, which is NOT how I want my coffee to taste, but wasn’t too bad. Would definitely return. Service was wonderful. Great offerings of gluten free & vegan pastries from another local vegan bakery.

Today Roast Riders is going to get five stars for me because of everything. From the moment I walked in to the time I got to the counter to order I knew it was going to be a great visit. My Barista was so knowledgeable about what I wanted while he was attentive to what I asked for and gave me his undivided attention; all I had asked was, Id like something different; Id like the seasonal coffee...what are you seasonal coffees? Jariss directed me to the digital menu on the wall above the counter that shows whatever the seasonal coffees are. It will also indicate the type of roast it is. I then requested a light roast because I wanted something strong enough I wouldnt have to mask the true flavor with. Jairis explained to me that this Ethiopian coffee had a combined taste of berry and boldness to it. I then asked about the quiche and he strongly recommended it. Jayris stated Pies by Vi was the local business that supplied the quiches. The most expensive cup of coffe i had, $3.54 for 12oz, Im a coffee drinker and this not the best i had for that amount they used syrup for sugar and coffee wasnt hot like it suppose, was Luke warm with half and half, the palce is nice good vibe and thats the 3 stars for, didnt even Finnish my coffee only drank half cup, the syrup was too much. Maybe thats how they serve coffee warm??

My experience at Roast Rider was lovely! My latte was creamy and flavorful as was the vegan cookie I added on. Everything on display looked delicious. The “Death before Decaf” T-shirt for sale is calling my name. Comfy seating abounds and this seems like the perfect place for a catch up with an old friend or cranking out a term paper! I’ll definitely be back!

The quiche and the latte that I had were both great, and would probably receive 5-star reviews on their own. However, the customer service left much to be desired, and they couldn’t even put the prices on the board, nor could they let me know what the prices were after I mentioned they were missing. So I just had to take the risk and end up paying $24 for two small pieces of quiche and 2 lattes. That being said, they were delicious.

I wish I could come here every day. The inside is a hipster modern art vibe. There is plenty of seating and the barista was very nice. I had a latte with harvest spice syrup (YUM! Fall vibes) and my boyfriend had a mint tea. For breakfast, I had a (warmed) chocolate croissant and he had a banana chocolate chip muffin. It was an incredible experience.

Visited on Fri I believe. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. Mood here reminds me of San Diegos scene.

Saw Starbucks and decided to go for a more original modern type place... Wasnt disappointed in the least with my choice. Roast Rider had such a warm feeling when I entered. First in that morning and I felt like I walked into my own kitchen, just a very familiar, home like feel. Great menu, wonderful staff, I think that was the longest time Id spent in a coffee shop/lounge. Stop by and grab your slice of comfort.

I just love the baristas! They are incredibly helpful and never make you feel inferior when you ask a question about their menu offerings! The environment is one that is also inviting and unique!

Loved the coffee and decor. Excellent vibe as well. Tried the bacon quiche which was a little bland for my taste, however my wife liked it. The menu was small, however I feel like its more important to do a few things right, than offering a whole bunch of average.

The latte was fantastic!! There was a leaf design in the top of the coffee made from cream which made it doubly cute! And if you were drinking in, your coffee was in a very nice cup with saucer.Loved it there!

Excellent cup of coffee! I havent tried the pastries but from what they look like and from what Ive heard, they are pretty delightful. I recommend trying their pressed coffee. Yes, it is a little bit more expensive but well worth it. I am avid Starbucks fan and this shop competes very well; both in quality and pricing.

I have to give it a 5 because their lattes and food are phenomenal. But it is very expensive so dont come here looking to not spend much. My favorite latte is the lavender latte but the Barista is constantly making new flavors. Everything is homemade and mostly organic. This is an awesome place to visit if you have a full wallet or want to treat someone special.

This establishment has delicious coffee and the staff have an updated knowledge of their products. Which is always nice when you are looking for something specific they can suggest a few options. Even though there was a good amount of people it was not a loud environment which is a nice change away from the Starbucks and Panera Breads of the area. Great job, keep it up, and Ill see you next time!

Dont bother. We drove 20 minute south of our way shopping for a new favorite coffee shop, as we just moved here. I am trying to support local businesses rather than Starbucks all of the time, but when we arrived, their espresso machine was not working. I tried ordering a tea latte instead, but the tea latte was Bland and had almost no flavor to it. Absolutely not worth the drive here or worth the money for a very expensive drink that I ended up throwing out immediately a few minutes later. On to Starbucks...

Definitely one of the best coffee spots Ive ever been to! Awesome vibe, awesome staff great selection. They really know how to source some quality beans and you get rad flavor from every blend. I always grab a bag and press my own, I wont go anywhere else for coffee in Virginia Beach

I love Roast Rider. Their coffee is great and the quiche is delicious. They offer vegan snacks for sale at the register that are amazing as well. Definitely have to try this coffee shop. The baristas are super friendly. 😌

Nothing but good things to say about RR! They have recently hired some new faces who brighten up every morning and afternoon run I make for drinks. I had given them another try after having a less than favorable encounter with one of their baristas. She made a great drink, but made me feel like she was doing me a favor. One bad apple didnt spoil it for me though. I go in now when I know my new favorite girl Bree is working because Im certain to get wonderful customer service from a bright and cheery person who always serves me with a smile and she makes my drink like a pro! Some days she is the only smiling face I see and it makes a huge difference in my mood. I hope they know how to bottle that enthusiasm as well as they roast their coffee! Try them out, you wont be disappointed.

I love this place!! I wish one was in the lynnhaven area because they beat out Starbucks. The people are super nice, the coffee is the best around town and they have really good treats. Definitely recommend!

One person in line. Sloooooooooooooow as the cashier/server felt the need to socialize rather than put some step in it. Entirely too long for what he was doing. I should have stayed at Taste; their coffee is equally as good, larger, and is not as expensive. How about treating each person like their time matters.

I ordered an almond milk latte. It was decent, a little bitter but smooth. Only compliant is the cost, it was expensive. $5.50 for a 12 ounce drink. Good vibe and nice place to do work or meet friends.

I go there to hear Professor Bob Kunzinger (from St. Leo University) read his poetry while I have some coffee with my wife. He is awesome and it makes for a wonderful evening while drinking Roast Rider coffee and enjoying one of their sweet treats to eat with the coffee. A very enjoyable time. I look forward to drinking more coffee at Roast Rider when Professor Kunzinger comes back to read more of his poetry again.

When I moved to the Oceanside area I was worried I wouldn’t find an amazing local coffee joint. This place has great seating, amazing coffee, and everyone is always friendly. Love this place!

The prices of their coffee are kinda high and theres not enough food choices but the atmosphere is nice, lots of people doing their works and chatting, and they have free wi-if. I get Iced Mocha with less sugar from here all the time and they always taste good but one time a girl barista put too much milk in my Mocha.If Im paying $5 I would expect a richer Mocha, not some 70% milk, 20% ice and 10% coffee.
