Numerous times I have called All CVS pharmacies in Virginia Beach Va and put me on hold like forever except the one at 6099 Indian River Rd., Va Beach, Va 23464. Because of long holds, I kept hopping from one CVS pharmacy to another hoping they will be polite enough not to do the same.I had called the The CVS pharmacy at 4500 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, Va 23462 but didnt get any answer on the phone so I had to drive to the counter to ask for the status of my order. I had experienced by far the worst treatment from a pharmacy staff at this location. She was discriminatory, rude, insulting, bigoted and condescending.It is a very rude and unprofessional habit to leave a customer on hold that very long, its like coming to a CVS pharmacy counter and being IGNORED by the pharmacy staff.Its a flashing signal that CVS pharmacies dont want to do business with customers and have to take your business elsewhere.I hope the CVS Pharmacy CEO reads this review although I already have found several in-network pharmacies that want to do business with me.

Pharmacy was rude and had no discrepancy about personal medications. When I asked a question about my Prescription(how much would it be if my insurance didn’t cover) I was then asked what it was going to be used for. Which you should either know or know not to ask. Over a loud speaker!! I proceed to go inside and better help from the cashier. However, staff was still rude.

I arrived at 9 pm today august 11 to send a shipment for money grand I did everything right by phone.I just had to pass the receipt and I could pay.but todays Managersaid I had to come back the next day because it was to late. They just wanted to leave.lose and hour of my time, Horrible attention, the only thing theny serve better isthe Pharmacy.

CVS hear near Rosemont and South Plaza discriminate Asians. I went there a few times, once with my daughters and they wouldnt help us with our Vaccine even though we were there 1st. And 1 day they wouldnt get me my prescription and would avoid me and help others 1st. I know its been tough with the Covid 19, but this is the time we need to help each other out the most and not discriminate. I will also let corporate know

This used to be a great pharmacy however something has changed and you can never get anybody on the telephone and the staff in the pharmacy are very rude and unhelpful they used to go out of their way to help you now they just cant be bothered I absolutely hate getting anything filled here and if I have any questions good luck trying to get somebody to help you

I would give this place zero stars if i could all due to there pharmacy they lie about your prescriptions being filled saying they have been on the shelves for to long so they returned them but you ordered it just the day before my wife received another prescription from them without a cap on it when she got home they lied during that incident aswell if you need a pharmacy DO NOT GO THERE!!!! outside of the pharmacy the rest of the store has it together

Worst experience ever. We picked this cvs to get our COVID vaccine because its close to our house. We made and appointment online, so when we got there to check in for our vaccine there where 2 people in the pharmacy i guess he was the pharmacist and another woman, we stood there waiting to be greeted but no one even acknowledged that we were there. We waited 15 mins for someone to say something like “hi we will be right with you” but nothing the girl even looked at us, and the so called pharmacist guy saw us as well because he was helping an elderly with a prescription in front of us!!! After he help her, mind you we were right behind her ok, he left and started sorting some medicine or something he didn’t even say i’ll be right with you! These people were just very unprofessional! They didnt have the decency to acknowledge us but were back there having a conversation. So we just canceled the whole appointment and going to a different cvs, my mom got hers at the salem location and the ladies over there were very friendly and seemed to care about the person they are giving the vaccine to, i know cus i went with her. My mistake was choosing another cvs for me and my husband to go to because it was closer to us.

Obnoxiously long wait times. It started pre covid and kept getting worse. There was an original group of employees that was there about two -three years ago it was absolutely wonderful and then it seems like they all left and now Im just treated like another number. Do these people not realize Ive been going to the CVS longer than theyve worked there? The attitude I got while trying to update my childs insurance over the phone the other day was completely uncalled for. I am currently in the market for another Pharmacy. 2 stars because of location convenience only.

I showed up at 7:22 in the morning after double checking on the website to make sure what time you opens. The door also says you open at 7o’clock with no signs anywhere saying that you have a different open time. After knocking on the door a very rude woman name Alicia so that she could not open the store because she was the only one there and that they open at 8 o’clock. When I explained that I double checked the website and only drove all the way here because it said they opened at seven she said I don’t know what you want me to do and walked away. When I indicated that I was going to leave a negative review she said go right ahead. Will never shop at CVS again. Not sure how she can be the only one there when there are three cars in the parking lot and multiple people inside the store. Oh and when you try to call the 800 number to complain about the fact that they’re not open when they say they are there’s nobody there to answer the phone.

Im so unhappy with this cvs pharmacy!!!! EVERYTIME I COME UP HERE THEY NEVER HAVE MY MEDICATION READY. CALLED IN TODAY AT 2PM AND SAID THEIR WORKING ON IT TO GET IT FILLED SO I CAN PICK IT UP. I PULL UP AND THEY SAID THEIR WORKING ON IT NOW AGAIN AT 5:55PM. This place is so unreal

Very sad to have walked into this location 5 mins ago and the young lady-cashier stood there having a full blown conversation with someone who didn’t seem to be a customer. We also used self checkout and was not told goodbye. As a prev CVS employee, I’m disappointed in the expectations of this location.

Would be nice if you actually put the ads out for the sales on soda. Moved to the area 4 weeks ago and for 4 weeks I keep having to go to my old CVS on great neck. And I will keep my 450 monthly prescriptions at Great neck also because this store sucks!!And your 1 store because its making me!!

The pharmacy staff is very nice and helpful. CVS needs to give them some help. I cant even get a call thru to pharmacy and I have to go up there to be told my script can be done in two hours. Its not the staffs fault. Its CVS being greedy Im assuming. Do you know CVS was bought by Anthem Blue Cross I heard. How wrong is that. Pharmacy bought by insurance company. Hmmm??? Anyways I do love the location but feel for the staff. Help them!!! Ruth and Jeremy are so very helpful and have saved me so much on out of pocket expenses. The pharmasist are helpful too.

Terrible service. Waited through the line twice because they want to pretend like the only thing they can do in one of the lines is COVID tests when every other pharmacy on the planet will serve anyone who drives up in either line. Then they let me know that my prescription which they had been sitting on for three days wasnt ready and they would need a whole half hour to put a couple pills in a bottle. Will be taking my business to the local Walgreens in the future.

UPDATE: It has been 15 days since my COVID test at this location and I still do not have my results. This center is essentially a non-functional covid test site. Please avoid this location and get tested elsewhereI did drive through covid testing on a Sunday. They were kind and professional. However, their website says 2-3 days for results. Their phone system says 2-3 but also says 2-5. The staff said 10-15. It is currently Saturday and I havent gotten my results yet. This is a useless testing site until they fix their turn around times.

At this point, the only reason I still use this pharmacy is because theyre less than a mile from my house. Otherwise, Im not happy with them. Ive been waiting over a week for one of my essential medications. No calls, no updates. The only thing I got was a 20+ minute wait on the phone last week for them to tell me their pharmacists were both on leave and that my medication wouldnt be available for a really long time. They also said I should call my doctor to have them send it to a pharmacy that has that medicine in stock. And let me reiterate; its a Saturday.Yesterday we made some progress, however. I actually reached someone within 10 minutes. They had the medication in stock too! Hallelujah!A whole 24hrs later. Still in process. No estimated time it will be ready. No answer to the phone today. And to top it all off, the drive through was closed.And dont even get me started on their covid testing.

I love this Pharmacy. The pharmacist helped me out so much to find an alternative medicine when my insurance wouldnt cover it (would have cost me $800). Even called my doctor to work something out. He also mentioned alternative methods to get that specific medicine for cheaper in case switching wasnt an option. Luckily it turned out it was a false alarm (after final test results in). Regardless, he was super helpful & friendly. I had been thinking of switching to a closer pharmacy, but now I will forever be going here as long as Im anywhere in the Tidewater area.Not to mention, another pharmacist there had helped me before with a similar issue. Insurance wouldnt cover some allergy medicine. She immediately pointed to a generic over-the-counter brand without me even inquiring. The staff genuinely cares. And as a bonus, the CVS staff at the front are always nice too.

Very rude employees! Do not go to this CVS! Every employee is angry with you before you even open your mouth. When you have bad employees it means management is terrible! They take a week to order your medication if they even order it at all. Not one single person cares about your health in this establishment! If you see a good review about this place they are paid actors! Male employees are rude and the females are even more intolerable! I gave one star because I have to in order to let people know just how bad this place is. Get it together Cvs, you are representing one of the largest pharmacies in the USA!

Always a wonderful experience when I go to the pharmacy! The young Latina woman that works in the pharmacy area is always so pleasant and helpful. I recently had an issue with my insurance company and getting some medications approved, however she was so patient and walked me through exactly what I needed to do to resolve the issue. Usually never crowded, and I am in and out in no time!

They where not able to fill my daughter flu prescription, they told me at 3pm they sent the prescription to another location who had the medication & I could pick it up right away. They never sent it & I wasnt able to get it until 8:53pm. Meanwhile her fever spiked to 103. The woman who helped me was polite but thats all I can say. Thanks for nothing.

Its my favorite pharmacy location. Gets slow & backed up a lot but the staff is so nice to me, its always worth the wait. Never had any issues with prescriptions or staff here. No job is perfect but I appreciate how helpful they are. They dont have the easiest job and its not the staff fault if meds run out? I love this cvs!

If you use the pharmacy, don’t run out of medicine because they won’t lend you any like every other good pharmacy would. I ordered my prescription but CVS didn’t get it in, said they ordered it three times but it never came in. I need 100mg pills and they have 50mg pills in stock. Instead of loaning me two 50mg pills for tomorrow, the pharmacist would rather I do without an anti seizure medication...where do I go next?

Just want to say I love this CVS. Yes I do wish that the pharmacy was open later some nights, but even if they where to put extra security does not mean they would be safe. This is a crazy world we live in today. So my hats off to the staff & the pharmacy. You all our wonderful.

Absolute worst experience. DO NOT BRING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS THERE. They didnt have what I needed after they told me that they would have it that same day. FOUR days later still dont have it and so I asked to pick up my paper prescription to bring elsewhere and they HAD LOST IT. Finally found it and then didnt even ID me when I picked it up.

The slowest store ever. The lady asked me what time can i pick up the med. I said, Ill be back in 30 minutes. Knowing they are so slow, i came back after an hour, and the lady said its not ready yet and asked me to wait for another 10 more minutes. Never got my prescription on time ever. Considering switching pharmacy now.

Pretty serious problems! They didnt call back to advise that they did not get in touch w Dr. about alternative dosage (that would have allowed another pharmacy to help). Did not mention that they close at 9. Did not even apologize for dropping ball knowing that these are pre-surgical meds needed by yesterday. We used to way too many texts from them and now very bad communication.***They also need to pick up trash in their parking lot to stop contributing to clogged storm drains and flooding in the neighborhood.***2nd star is bc theyve been ok in the past and occasionally pick up parking lot trash and seems like they need to be reminded about it.

The store smells like a diaper to me, always, which is gross. The other day I turn in a new prescription and the pharmacy tech tells me (all of a sudden) I need to supply a diagnoses code along with the prescription. I call my doctor and he informs me this new pharmacy policy violates my HIPAA rights and CVS is only trying to get ahead of some legislation that is currently in process but not approved yet. So not only did the pharmacy refuse to fill my prescription without violating my HIPAA rights but today they call to tell me I need to drive across town to pick one of my medications up because they are unable to order it - and unwilling to retrieve it from their own store. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...

CVS staff is polite and able to point you in the correct area for your items. The will try to answer yo ur questions but will refer youh to pharmacist for all Medication and vitamin questions. This store is usually not busy.

This is THE SLOWEST pharmacy Ive ever been to. They have 2 lanes in the drive-thru but only help 1 person at a time so it defeats the whole purpose of having 2 lanes. Every single time Ive waited no less than 15 min with 1 car ahead of me. If theres more than 1 car I wont even go then, I just go back at another time. If I didnt have a 2 year old and a newborn I would just go inside but its not much quicker inside either.

So.... my wife and I showed up here a little after midnight. We were trying to get gift cards for Christmas. There was an alarm going off so we called out and no one came out. We called the store and someone finally answered and we told them we were at the front register and they came out. They had no idea we were at the register or that an alarm was going off.....

If I come in at 12pm and Im told to return by 2pm my prescription would be ready, I should not have to wait an additional 45 minutes after I arrive at 2pm for you to fill my prescription! No apologies from the pharmacy staff, or no sense of urgency!

This store is basically right at our doorstep. The reason the pharmacy has limited hours now is because they have repeatedly been robbed. Instead of paying for decent security they close early now. Maybe once every other week we see an older woman stumbling around the parking lot smoking a cigarette, she stares at us if were on our front porch like were a threat...she will literally stop in the middle of the lot and stare at us, creepy as hell....my boyfriend confronted her tonight because we werent sure if she worked there or if she was casing the building or if she was one of the many homeless in the area. She yelled she was security and ran...thats your security CVS??? Please relay the message that people live right here and she needs to have respect for that. Hire real security because if shes legit...she sucks...and its really a joke. Plus your employees arent supposed to be smoking on your property...but she better keep her ass off ours!
