Joe and Clint managed to pull off an amazing weekend bike show in spite of pretty awful weather conditions. All the staff at South Side deserve kudos for making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The deals on parts were just as awesome. The fun meter was pegged.

Southside was very low pressure when it came to sales. They made me feel like family and wanted to know exactly what I was looking for, so they could fit me on the best bike for ME instead of just selling me the most expensive bike on the lot. Devin from start to finish was helping me with my FIRST HARLEY. There was no pressure I told him what I was looking for and he did the rest. On Saturday September 18, 2021 I was traveling on my 2020 Street Glide from Jacksonville, FL and discovered I required an oil change. I like to ensure I keep my fluids changed for warranty purposes. I tried Bayside Harley Davidson and was turned away by the service tech with a nasty attitude. Being a Harley owner I know in most cases if you are from out of town they try accommodate the rider, I have experienced this all over the country riding with Rare Breed MC. She informed me the shop was short of personnel, however she went Above and Beyond asking the technicians if they could change my oil. The service Department changed my oil and adjusted my highway pegs. I am forever grateful to Samantha and Technicians. Joe has always done his best to get me the parts I need for my 05 Heritage Softail- not such an easy job with so many parts no longer being manufactured! This time however, wherever and whatever the cause the delivery of my new engine guard went from a May 23rd order with a promise of delivery by the end of June to being reassigned at Least 6 times- it came in yesterday-8/27. Harley can do better-

Heading to the mountains this Friday. While riding last Saturday I realized Im due for the 25K service and its big. Stopped into SSide with no positive expectations. Sam said she could work me in Tuesday and have it back Thursday. I left the bike and crossed fingers. Sam called me Tuesday noting it was as due for inspection next month if I want them to take care of it. Told her As long as I get it back Thursday thats great. She called me back an hour later to say its ready for pick-up??? She told me Steve worked on the bike (I always ask). Man, it rides like new and I cannot say enough good things about Sam and the the service department. Truly 5 Stat!

I dont drive or have a Harley-Davidson even so I love to hang out at the store. People who work there are laid back and friendly staff. reminds me of my country Japan. Thank you. ( I do like Harley Davidson. The curb is so beautiful. I am sorry to say that.. Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki are made in Japan. Oops.

Service was beyond slow and non communicative. 2 weeks and still nothing done. The service was very simple and shouldn’t have took more than a couple days. It’s just inexcusable. I worked in service half my life and I wouldn’t dare give anyone this kind if experience. They have some work to do. Don’t plan on seeing your bike for a while, even if it’s just an oil change and a tire.

Frenchie warned me that the bike would just be the down payment on the parts I will be hanging on it, and he was right! Joe, in parts, has been scrambling, trying to get the last few parts I am looking for to complete my initial build on my 2020 Softail Slim. Due to the condition of shipping and parts availability throughout the system and the country, some things are slow to arrive or are just completely out of stock, leaving a couple of holes in my build for now, but the quality of the parts I have received is worth the wait.

Southside is extremely busy right now!!!! In fact, I have never seen so many bikes waiting for service/maintenance in the years I have been going there. So, I was pleasantly surprised when Sam and Rob both did their best, under difficult circumstances, to get my bike in and out for a complete fluid change. Yes, it took longer than normal and thankfully I was not in a hurry to get my service completed. As always, Chris did a great job on the service for my 2006 Softail Deuce which now has over 50,000 miles on it and still runs like it is brand new. I just want to thank the three that I mentioned for a great job. It is people like you that keep me coming back to Southside for all my parts service and maintenance needs!!!!!

I had a rear brake light switch issue along with a couple other DTC codes that were keeping the security light illuminated during operation. Figured I might as well get an oil change while that was getting worked out. I saw the mixed reviews over at Bayside and the good ones over at Southside. Decided to go with the Southside team, and glad I did!Took the 2013 Heritage in on a Saturday and Huy was great going over the options and talking through my concerns and desired outcomes. He even noted that my bike had been in storage for a year so the techs would keep an eye out for any issues stemming from that. I thought it would be a week or two until I saw the bike again, judging by the volume of work they had, but got a notification that Tues that the bike was done! Oil change and rear brake switch replaced.When I went to pick it up a couple days later, it was cleaner than I brought it in! The fact that I got to ride a sparkling clean bike home was icing on the cake. Thanks guys, your first impression made a customer out of me! (One thing I didnt know at the time is that they start charging $11/day for storage fee if you pick up your bike more than 3 days after work completedgood thing I happened to get a ride there before that!)

I recently made an out of state purchase using the Rider to Rider program. First off let me say I am rarely one to leave a review but this one is warranted. You would think since I wasnt actually buying a bike from them, the service would be mediocre, but what I experienced was nothing less than Exceptional. Petar, Huy and Rob are all top notch individuals. I have purchased dozens of motorcycles from various HD stores across the country and this by far was the most pleasant transaction I have ever made. So, if you make Leslie ungappy shell keep your regristration plate and blame it on DMV. So, my buying experience was awesome cause the sales person (manager) Justin was very knowledgeable and good at what he does.I had a trade in with no title but they worked with me. However when Leslie didnt get the title she didnt give me the plate. Even admitted via phone. As of now my 2021 street Glide wont start but guess what. I cant ride it anyways. 5 MONTHS LATER! Im so over with this. I was told from Lesie herself to ride it anyways and I wont get pulled.... why should I ride around illegally because of you? so. Leslie! You reading this then you know what you have done is illegal and you will pay. Southside Harley will pay. Wish I could just sue a certain individual of a company but it dont work like that. So I kept my mouth shut long enough. Truth be told.

My 2015 Ultra Limited water pump failed. I called the other dealership and was told that the earliest appointment was over 2 weeks out. I called Southside and talked with Rob got my bike in repaired and out the door in 2 days and actually saved me some money. Now that is customer service.

Had issues tracking down a particular pair of forks for my Road Glide and Joe didnt stop until he delivered. He called all over the country and checked with multiple dealerships to locate the part then finally had to end up ordering it himself and saw it through until I picked them up yesterday. Travis in parts always makes sure I get what I need, after all of the projects I have done not once have I had to come back to get something we forgot to pickup/order. Just bought a 2020 Harley Davidson Road King FLHP. I literally searched every dealer in the country that had a new one. This dealer was no non-sense. Honest unbeatable price. The staff was great. They also helped to arrange a transport company to ship the bike to my house. I highly recommend them. Part guy Joe, Sales Mike, and Peter in management.

I had my 2014 Ultra Limited in for a maintenance and state inspection recently. The scheduling process was very smooth, and I was pleased to see the enforcement of social distancing in the shop customer service area. I was able to drop the bike off without any issues, they checked it in, and took photos to ensure it was returned in the same condition it was left in, a touch I consider very thoughtful. The work was not completed on the day as I expected, which was the only issue I feel needs to be addressed. Not that the work was not completed, but we were not informed that there would need to be another day before we could pick it up. The work was fine, the service tech took good care, we appreciate the complimentary cleaning, and we are overall satisfied with the service work. We just would have liked a quick call to let us know it would take one more day than we expected.

I always have a good experience at Southside. Whether i am shopping for parts or gear the staff is always welcoming and helpful. Hardy is my go to guy for clothing and helmets. He is a friendly and helpful dude. Travis is my go to guy for parts. He goes to great lengths to get me the parts I need. I am always looking for oddball parts. I also just had the 5k service on my Street Glide a month ago. Again fast and friendly service. Keep up the good work guys.

Jeff showed me most every bike in the showroom - but wasnt trying to sell me them. He was telling me the story of each bike. Essentially telling me the long and rich heritage of Harley Davidson. Hey everyone, I just need to talk about the absolute best experience I’ve very had in my life in regards to retail/vehicle shopping. So at the Harley Davidson in Virginia Beach, I was greeted and was given literally amazing customer service by Devin. He talked to us for a while and was able to not only find me the perfect bike but was also able to get me a $250 gift card to buy gear for free and he showed me where I can take the Motorcycle Safety Course and told me he can also reimburse that course into another store gift card. He worked with us for a couple hours to help negotiate so that we could get the bike in the right price for us. He then offers free delivery of the bike to my apartment and updates me on the current repair job (HD currently needs to replace the ignition switch but they are doing that for free). When I go back there to get my helmet, he then introduced me to Hardy Headden to helped me find the perfect helmet and the perfect riding gear to buy. Literally couldn’t have asked for a better experience so if you’re in the area and wanting to get a bike or even some gear or bike parts, PLEASE GO HERE FIRST AND SPEAK WITH DEVIN, HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND I WAS NOT FEELING PRESSURED AT ALL LIKE MOST SALESMEN MAKE YOU FEEL!! Literally, I honestly could not imagine a better experience unless they gave me a free motorcycle.
