Took my late grandfathers banjo there to be cleaned and strung up. The work these guys did is amazing. You can tell they really love what they do. They were professional and very informative of everything they were doing. I would recommend them to everyone.

I love the work these guys do. However given the experience I had woth music go round (rosewood is located inside). I sadly have to take my guitars else where as I collect guitars I have taken 3 guitars to get set up and work on in a span of 2 months and have a few more that need some work done. Sadly I feel that some of the money they get goes to music go rounds rent and I will no longer support that music store. However if they ever own their own shop I would Gladly give them my hard earn money. I would recommend to all my friends. However given my feelings I will send them elsewhere.

Instrument repair is a blend of art and science. Larry Berwald understands this and is a master at his craft. He does amazing work and is a talented player himself, so he understands the artistic needs of the musicians he serves. Very personable with a very high standard of work quality but with affordable pricing.

Took my acoustic guitar there because the top was warped, got a pricing for the Dr bridge installation plus heat treatment. After many days got a message from the owner saying already started working on it with a price completely different than quoted, when asked about the difference, he apologized and after many more days texted me saying there was nothing wrong with the guitar, so no need for any of that. In person the story changed again, so I cant trust that business. Detail: the top is warped.

Musicians who use their gear a lot should plan for upkeep, but even then sometimes accidents happen. Of all the gear to break is no worse feeling than dropping and breaking a guitar; perceivably doing irreparable damage. In my dropping the same guitar and taping it back together time after time to keep up with a busy gig schedule I have had to determine more permanent solutions. Larry Berwald has given me permanent solutions many times and I continue to count on his expertise when dealing with my guitars.
