Great fun!!! First time visit. I was scared going in because of my fear of falling. I did yellow and green courses because they are the easier ones. After two courses, I was willing to go for more of a challenge, but it started to thunder so they shut down the park. That was unfortunate, but they issued us a weather voucher. Looking forward to coming back! Wished I explored the aquarium.

Love this place to bits!So much fun... Weve been twice and are already planning our next trip. The more challenging courses are physically demanding, so come prepared. Loose fitting climbing gloves or work gloves of some kind are a must. They sell fingerless gloves there, but you can also bring your own if you prefer.

This place is amazing. My 9 and 10 year old had so much fun at a birthday celebration hosted here at the Adventure Park. Once they went through the tour and orientation, they were off and running on their own through some impressive courses. I was surprised at the size and scale of this park. My kids stayed busy for about 2.5 hours and fell asleep in the car on the way home, but they could have spent all day there if it were possible. We all enjoyed the experience.

This was one of the highlights of our trip! The staff was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. At one point, my 9 year old son slipped on one of the elements and ‘fell’ and immediately a staff member ran over to talk to him, calm him down, and give him instructions on how to pull himself back up. He talked him through the rest of the obstacle and made sure he was okay. Anytime somebody on the course needed assistance, a staff member would hustle over to help. They also would help anybody down if they decided they didn’t want to continue. When walking through the paths to get back on another course, if we walked past a staff member, they would smile and greet us.When you get there you’ll go through an instructional video, harness up, and then go through a practice course close to the ground to learn how to use the equipment. Throughout the course you are connected to the line the entire time so it’s completely safe. The courses were anywhere from beginner to expert. We did up to the green which was the 3rd level out of I believe 6, and that was fun, physically challenging, and plenty high.Definitely buy the gloves! They aren’t mandatory, but you will be glad you did!We loved this place and if you are looking for something active and challenging, definitely go! We were between this and another option, and I’m totally happy with our choice!

We had SO much fun! This place is amazing! Terrifyingly exciting! I myself am afraid of heights so I stayed on the obstacles 15 feet off of the ground. My husband and son did the higher obstacle courses. Definitely hurt for days after but pushed ourselves to accomplish something we never did before. I would love to go back here. And... surprisingly, no bugs up on those trees and it was a super hot and sunny day!!!!! I recommend 100%!

Our family had a blast at the Adventure Park! Our crew included ages 5 to 66, and there was something for everyone. We always have so much fun when we go. I’ve been with a group of adults, on a date with the husband, with just my daughter, and most recently with a group of kids for a birthday outing. Every time we go, the staff is awesome and everyone has a great time. We had a few times where someone needed to get off a course, and the staff is so helpful, comes right away to help, and is great with kids and adults. I never have any safety concerns. They do an awesome job explaining everything and making sure everyone is all set to climb. Love all the courses with all difficulty levels - easy to super challenging. We love it!

One of VA beach best hidden secrets! Honestly surprised there were soooo many aerial trails and options for different skill levels. Ive been in Hampton Roads for a few years and never got around to going until now. We went with a Girl Scout Troop of girls ages 7-9 and they had a blast (adults did also). Time slots were spaced greatly, COVID mitigation were enforced (wearing masks and group sizes) while on the ground (while zipping you are allowed to remove face coverings). Video training was mandatory before time began and we were quizzed. Staff helped everyone get harnessed and signed tickets for double verification. Training hands on dummy course was short and helpful and mandatory and honestly great for children and adults. Trails were Purple, Yellow, Green, Blue, Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond. All trails had age requirements which was helpful for first timers. Would recommend to anyone looking to get outside, do something fun and adventurous, or even a date night or excersise for the harder courses.

I had to give this place one star because apparently zero isn’t an option. This place stinks and here’s why.First of all, the check in staff were terrible! They yelled at kids trying on gloves and were frankly rude.the only helpful people were the one securing my harness!Secondly, they are not very bright. They kicked us out for “lightning” even though the closest storm was a good two and a half hour away! In fact, it was a very nice day. Plus, I just got my harness on and was thirty feet away from the first course! Finally, it was kind of weird. They offered to get us in tomorrow and when my family asked “when?” The said “VERY early in the morning because that’s when mother nature’s kindest to us.” They sounded like 80’s style hippies! All in all, this was the worst part of my vacation. Don’t waste your time and money here.

So much fun for the family! Dont worry if you feel you cant remember all that was explained during the 30 minute training. The really important safety points are repeated throughout the training and it will all come together and make sense as you use the course. Although you are super safe the whole time, the courses are still challenging enough to force you to use those muscles and balance skills! And, there are enough courses to meet varied skill levels so there is no need to worry about over exerting. Oh, and gloves are recommended, but I think using the gloves are a necessity. My husband and son decided to go gloveless, (my daughter and I wore gloves) and afterwards they both thought that they made the wrong decision. You will LOVE this experience! We definitely plan to go back.

Grace was an exceptional employee, both in the office with a senior discount that the original employee who assisted us didnt know how to process, as well as making sure we had gloves that fit our hands, and also the next day while working on the course.Note that the park is mostly ropes courses with some zip lines, so if you only want zip lines, there is a place down the road for that. The yellow courses we went on had at least one zip line within it; one green had 3, while another didnt have any. The first day we were there, the park had to close due to a lightning threat, but a voucher was immediately emailed for a return visit. We had a great time and would definitely visit again if we are ever back in virginia beach.

Theyre all fun but the hard courses are labeled hard for a reason, so be sure to enjoy the easier ones.I hope they keep adding more courses further in the woods with bigger/higher/longer ziplines to counteract the difficulty of the more difficult courses. Parking was a nightmare due to construction on building. The mask policy for being outdoors is extreme. Staff required masks even when next to our table and own group. VA mandate does not require mask outdoors as long as social distancing can be maintained between different groups. No one assisted us to our table or even checked on us. Absolutely LOVED this place. I had never tried rope obstacle courses and ziplining before. I am afraid of heights and was concerned about my physical capacity. But they have options for all levels of difficulty and experience allowing each person to choose the course that is right for them. Once up in the course And, I was so focused on what I was doing, and enjoying it, I forgot to be afraid of where I was in the trees. And if you are just looking for ziplining fun, the Grand Rapids course doesnt have any obstacles....just ziplines and roped bridges. The staff is helpful and friendly. I cant speak for the experienced courses, but you can expect to spend about 45 minutes to an hour completing a green or blue course. And you are permitted to complete multiple courses on the same ticket. This is a day I will always remember! The highlight of my vacation.

My son is 11 And moved through many of the obstacles more quickly that we did, but the park was pretty enclosed so we would keep seeing him and he didnt get too far away. For first time visitors, your GPS may take you a couple miles past the actual location. If you just go to the aquarium, there is not a single sign pointing you in the right direction. Just go slightly past the aquarium and take the next right where you will barely see the tiny sign. I have family coming over in June and I will be booking a handful of us at that time. Overall a memorable time! Thanks again! My advice to you is listening for the “click” sound when moving from one station to another. That way you know you are ready to move on. Like the sound of clicking a seatbelt! That made all the difference in learning how to move around with the harness. It reminds me of wax on wax off if you are my age! If you are a first timer- go during the day. Amazing! They start you off with rotating safety sessions and then you go through a practice course to feel ready- make sure you are hydrated because going on a hot day, even when youre shielded by trees, can lead to you becoming a hot and sweaty mess lol (they do have a water area but small paper rolled cups, so it takes a while). The staff are knowledgable and friendly and when you get to the start theyll suggest where you should go first (they have quite a few different paths to try- ranging from kids to double black triangle in terms of the obstacle varieties, height of the platforms, and overall exertion. The harder ones might close depending on heat so go at a cooler time or day to be able to do them!). If youre in pretty good shape, you should be able to do about 3 to 4 courses, we started lower to get the hang of it. But it was SO MUCH FUN, the zip lines are awesome, you basically learn how to do it and then do it on your own which is very cool and they have a bunch of different elements so you wont get bored :) recommend and would definitely go again!

But Nick G. swooped right in and got my son to relax. He was calm and extremely patient! He allowed my son to practice zip-lining (the thing he was most afraid of) over and over on one of the practice lines. Once my son had the confidence we ended up doing 2 courses and he did amazing! Each time my son got on a platform he’d look for Nick so he could wave! :) Nick instilled trust and that was all my son needed! Both of my kids were asking to come back before we even took our harnesses off!
