Today I had my BRAKES replaced at Visalia HondaFront Brakes, oil change and tire rotationto my surprise I was charged $25 for a tire rotation.when I asked the advisor why he stated it wasn’t necessary to remove the tires from the rear to inspect brakes. I explained to him so how about the inner brake pad you can’t see without removal, At that point he stated that tires had been removed $25 is the fee for rotation. This is ridiculous! Why would you charge a customer if the tires are on the ground already. I could understand if I didn’t do the work that was recommend. Visalia Honda you guys just lost a loyal customer for $25, I can only imagine how many customers you done this too, you Service centers give the automotive repair centers a BAD name.
Honda sucks theyll charge you an arm and leg just to look at your A/C like 400 just to look at it not to fix it, dont pay that! auto zone now carries the 1234 yf refrigerant for A/C systems most newer cars wont be a rock in your system its mostly just a clogged pipe cuz its dirty, I went to auto zone got the 1234 yf and fixed my A/C on my own and it works like brand new and colder then ever.screw honda dont get hustled out of your A/C system and they have the worst personal and management not willing to really help anybody out they just care about money not the customer no wonder their cars are cheap they dont even deserve a star
Very disappointed with my experience at Visalia Honda. I purchased my car in Selma Honda and have gotten my car serviced in Selma since than. A week ago I decided to make an appt with Visalia Honda since it’s conveniently close to my home and save myself a trip to Selma for an alignment. I showed up and left my vehicle for service at my scheduled time 8am. It’s 245pm and my car hasn’t gotten serviced yet!! At this point I’m thinking why even bother to make an online appointment ahead of time if it won’t matter by the time I get to the dealership. I get situations happen with the shops equipment. I get that in most cases your car won’t be done on the time. What was so disappointing and why I will not return to Visalia Honda is that the didn’t communicate with me since the beginning they were having issues with the equipment used to perform an alignment on vehicles. Should they have told me since the beginning I would have rescheduled so that I didn’t have to waste my day thinking my car is being serviced when in reality it’s just sitting in the lot. After going in to check on the status of vehicle and to find out there were still two other cars ahead of me after waiting almost 7hrs I canceled service. And to my amazement the tech helping me gets upset because I’m canceling!! It’s not my fault and I understand it’s not his fault but clearly there needs to better communication from Visalia Honda to its customers.
If you go get service at Honda. I would highly recommend you get helped by Ricardo. He’s very helpful.
Had my A/C serviced under warranty 2 years ago and forgot to do a review. I received a piece of mail today stating that Honda is extending the warranty on all civics with bad parts by 10 years reminded me. With that being said:I brought my vehicle in for a check-up due to the air conditioning not being cold. It takes over 30 minutes for the air conditioning to start getting cold while driving on the freeway! Even then, it wasnt as cold as it should be. For the vehicle being less than a year old, it shouldnt have any issues getting cold. The advisor took a look at my vehicle and stated that it was the coldest my vehicle was going to get and nothing was wrong with the system. That this was normal during the hot weather and it should take 20-30 minutes to get cold. I almost left without getting my car evaluated by a technician and trusted that he knew what he was taking about. We went back and forth for what seemed like forever. He finally brought out a thermometer which showed that it was blowing 60 degrees with the air conditioning on. Sure enough, I got a call later stating that my air compressor was not working and there was a large freon leak. It shouldnt be this difficult for someone to get their car looked at! Especially when the compressors are a common problem among the civics. Trust your customers when they think something is wrong with their car. If nothing is wrong after getting it checked out, then great! What are you losing out on?To add more to my disappointment, they broke the water pump while repairing the air conditioning. That required my car to be at Honda for another day for the additional repairs. Safe to say I will not be returning to Visalia Honda for any services or purchases in the future. I should have spent the extra time traveling to my usual choice for services, Honda North.

Nice people, but I would not trade my car in there. I took my elderly sisters Honda CRV it was in great condition with very low miles they offered 18K, I then called Vroom, they offered us 23K. Try vroom before you go there!

Made an appointment for 9:00AM and drove an hour from my home to get my transmission flushed and engine oil changed was told 2 hour wait and then came back after 2 hours and was told they needed another hour to even start working on my car. Told them to just give me my car back. Will never come back here again. Wasted time and gas for nothing. I recommend anyone to not come here they don’t respect appointments.

I regularly get my service done here. Yesterday, however, after my service I went to purchase tires elsewhere - for no negative reasons, just cheaper at Costco. After doing so, the mechanic displayed to me my old tires and informed me of the horrendously uneven fashion in which they wore out. The two back tires were dangerously bald from the inside! The mechanic gave no official diagnosis, given that he wasnt paid for that, but did convey a teaching; he told me that the manner in which the tires treaded could be because of bad mechanic work. I told him Im perplexed given that every 5k miles I get a tire rotation and oil change at my respective service center. He wasnt quick to label them haphazard or blame them, but cautioned me to be more mindful of their work. Given the latter, I perused my service receipt and took notice of the fact that a mechanic [Angel] labeled my tire tread waring out evenly! Given the exaggerated manner that they wore out I assumed this issue has been present for a while so I glanced at my older receipts - yup, they all say my tires were waring out evenly, despite otherwise.Begs to question whether they were actually even rotating my tires, let alone checking them. Selma Auto Service center has my business from now on.
I had been looking for a civic type R for a month before finding Steven at Vasilia honda. When I talked to Steven over the phone he was different than most salesman you find at dealers, he was genuinely trying to help me get the car. He said, they did not have the car at the dealer but had one coming in a few weeks. 2 weeks later I get a phone call from Steven saying the car should be arriving soon and if I was interested he was gonna talk to Romel (the manager) to let him know that I have been inquiring about this car for weeks and that I was ready to seal the deal. We agreed on pricing and bought the car.When I arrived at the dealer, I was still little skeptical since I have had terrible experiences at dealers here around LA... but Steven and Romel were different and everything was so straight forward it was almost too easy! Left the dealer within 1hr driving my brand new Type R. THANKS TO STEVEN AND ROMEL!
Horrible customer service by Andrew from service department. Keep in mind, I have a 2012 Honda Civic, therefore its nothing fancy or new. However, I do not think it is fair for reps like Andrew to pick what customers to be good to and which ones not based on the car they drive. I saw people driving nicer cars getting in and out and having their cars washed and detailed. I had my car at Honda for over 2 months, just for basic maintenance. Andrew would never reach out to me to let me know how the process was going and would ignore a lot of my calls. When I showed up at the dealership 2 months later, he was in his desk and when I confronted him, he decided to argue with me and he said he was always reaching out and keeping me updated which he was not doing. I just picked up my car today, and they didnt even bother washing it or detailing it after they had it sitting there collecting dust and grease for over 2 months. Honda no longer has my business, but I doubt they even care knowing how they only treat their top clients good. I had been a customer for over 3 years.

My family came to Visalia Honda to do maintenance for our car. First visit was good. The representative guy was nice and helped us right away as soon as we stepped out of the car. They had to order parts for our car so we had to come back a few days later. The second visit, the service was terrible. There were 3 representatives. One of them was helping a customer. The other two guys were just sitting at their desks doing nothing. However they just ignored us. We looked at them and they just tried to look away. The guy who was with a customer had to turn to them and asked one of them to help us. After that the guy helped us said we would have to wait 2 hours. Initially on the first visit when we made appointment for the 2nd visit, they told us the service would take about 1 hour. What kind of service is this? First ignoring the customers and then making the customers wait longer than promised even with reservation. My family was thinking about buying a new Honda, but after being treated badly at this dealer, we wont be back here buying cars or doing any service.
This review would have been a positive one but they tried to take me for a fool. I took my car for an oil change, it was my first time to service my car here and they told me my tire had a nail and the pressure was 11. They asked me if they could remove the nail but would charge me $25 i declined and took it else where. Turns out there was no nail in any of my tires. First impressions make a difference not coming back.
I recently went to service my car. I forgot that I had left my wallet in the glove compartment. The next day that I got my wallet I saw that $100 were missing. First, the technicians have nothing to do with the glove department. Second, they had no reason to go in there. I don’t want to put the technicians name that worked on my car on blast, but I am. 😊 His name is Angel Picazo, just a heads up with him. I called management and they didn’t even care smh. They said that they talked to their employer and he said he didn’t steal anything and that they believe him. Like obviously he’s going to say no to stealing, he wasn’t going to say the truth. Though, the truth will come out sooner or later 😋
As we were on the search for a Honda Civic we tried out our local dealership which is Visalia Honda. I met with salesman Alexis. As soon as we arrived he was very friendly and welcoming. He was great!! Showed us our options and explained to us the difference between the all civic trims & also asked if we would like to test drive it. He was very patient and understanding with us as we took time to think over our decision on what deal was best for us. Larry & Rommel, the managers took the time to get us a great deal with the car with a comfortable payment and interest rate. They are also taking all precautions during this covid pandemic but can make you feel as comfortable as if it was even around. Lastly, Visalia Honda employees go above and beyond for their customers! 10/10 would recommend anyone to give their local dealer a try before heading out of town.
I went in on Sunday to trade my current car in. I was immediately greeted by David. He then asked why I went in I explained and he immediately showed me the vehicle I was interested in which was a Honda Accord. I then took it on a test drive. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and showed me all the cool features. After the wait I was able to take the car I wanted home! I totally recommend Visalia Honda! Thanks to all the staff and David for making this happen.
If I could give this review negative stars I would!! First it took the service department almost 2 weeks to call me back on a quote for a new set of tires. When they finally called me back it was the SUPERVISOR apologizing for the late response. Well the SUPERVISOR gave me a great quote for a set of Michelin tires so I made an appointment. I just left the Honda dealership very upset. The quote the SUPERVISOR gave me on the phone was totally different than the quote the service rep gave me at the dealership. I tried to explain to the service rep the SUPERVISOR quoted me a price way less for the Michelin tires on the phone. The service rep said my quote was for a different brand. I asked for my keys back and left very upset. This is very bad business to give a customer a great quote on the phone and then change it when the customer comes in for the service. The Honda service department just lost my business. I will never go back and I do all of my service there. I think it’s time to go to the Toyota dealership and get me a new Toyota 😂

I was dealing with so much problems with my old car. But Gerardo one of the salesman there helped get out of that old car and into a brand new one at a very good price and payment! I hope he never leaves because I will only buy off of him for now on! He makes things happen. I am super satisfied with my new CR-V.

I waited a couple days and did not receive a call as to if they were found. Finally, I decided to call and inquire if they had been found, the associate said they hadn’t been but would keep looking and call me back the next day to set up a appointment to get me a new key if he still couldn’t find them. Yet again, I received no call back. After calling them multiple times, I was finally able to get an appointment to receive my key and get my car cleaned because at the time I bought my car it had not been cleaned and the associate told me that they would clean it when I came to pick up my key. When I finally went to go get my key and get my car cleaned, I had to wait about an hour and half for them to program my key but was told that they wouldn’t be able to clean my car and to come back another day. I don’t live in Visalia, for me to come back I would’ve had to take time off work just to get my car cleaned when it should have been cleaned prior to me buying the car or the day I brought it in again. After I was told that, they told me someone would be bringing my car upfront shortly. By shortly I thought they meant 10, even 15 minutes, but that wasn’t the case. Finally I asked another associate where my car was and they said they would look for the individual who was “assisting” me. All I could think was oh God, they lost my keys for a second time. I purchased a new Honda Accord Sport along with my brother which he purchased a new Accord EX-L. Chris helped us out.Since the initial phone call I made, he was straight forward and willing to work with me on the price I wanted.We got there and he honored the price he gave us over the phone. Approval process took about 15-20min without any hassle. I really recommend Chris when buy a new car. He was friendly and straight forward.Before going to Visalia Honda, I went to Honda North and Selma Honda. Honda North was okay, but good enough as Visalia, Selma Honda didnt wanted to work with me, unless I told them I was ready to buy....too much pressure and after I told them I wasnt ready yet. They didnt wanted to work with me on pricing.Strongly recommend Visalia Honda.Be aware, financing person is a totally different. They will try to sell you as much as they can. They acted as a used car sales person...Cool person though...I guess they bonuses on how much they sell.....

Got my oil changed on my honda and they forgot to put the oil cap back on . I had oil leaking out had already drove to Porterville before I found out.

Our car battery died after 1 year 5 months of use and they made the replacement painless. If I could put zero stars I would. I wanted to cancel my Honda care and maintenance and what not. I called beforehand and Honda told me to go to the dealer in order to cancel it and sign. So I went to Honda located in Visalia, CA which is where I got my Honda brand new. When I got there I spoke with the guy that deals with finance. He wouldn’t let me cancel and said that I can only cancel it if the car is a total loss and kept talking about irrelevant things. He lied to me. I kept telling him I can cancel it and it says it in the agreement. It says nothing about total loss or anything. This forced me to change my oil at the Honda dealership and keep on paying for it Honda Care. The finance guy needs to be fired because he’s lying and is very rude to us customers and is disrespectful. I might even take it to court if I can’t get it canceled.
I am very happy with Visalia Honda’s customer service. I bought a Honda Civic SI coupe two years ago and the dashboard light kept coming on saying that my tires were low I am from Effingham Illinois come to Visalia to visit my mother. Talked to a Rachel Savage about the problem And she was very helpful and nice about my situation brought my car in Reno Christina took a look at it and found a couple beads that were damaged in my tire. Had an appt and was asked prior to arriving if i would need shuttle service. I accepted the shuttle offer. Initial acknowledgment was very slow and somehow got skipped too. The person behind me was greeted before me. I then stepped out of my car and then was quickly helped and received sincere apology. I mentioned i had appt and offered shuttle service, i then had to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle. After the arrival everything was smooth. Shuttle driver and service agent were very pleasant and communication regarding service was thorough. I received a shuttle pick up to get back to dealership as well and was pleased with time. The wait for service completion was reasonable. The cashier wasnt very warm and welcoming, but all in all i am satisfied. Glad to have operating vehicle again.

I called a week ahead of time to make an apt to get my car serviced. A whole week ahead. They schedule me to come in at 11, I was there at 1050. The guy working in the service dept. said I had to sign a paper before they would even look at the car, I said thats fine. He told me have a seat our printer doesnt work the best its going to take 30 minutes to print out the paper. 30 MINUTES FOR ONE PIECE OF PAPER. Then he said its going to take 2-3 hours for us to tell you whats wrong with your car. I dont live in Visalia and didnt have a ride home, so I had to ask about their shuttle service. He made it seem as if I had to wait in their lobby the whole 3 hours. Why wouldnt he bring up the complimentary shuttle service that takes me anywhere I want to go in town?! 3 hours went by before I got a call saying they hadnt even looked at my car yet and if I still wanted them to look at it I would have to keep it there overnight. He then proceeded to tell me its not his fault that they are under staffed and that because of the virus more people are bringing in their cars and needing things done then made me feel its my own fault they wont be able to fix my car bc I said I could not leave it overnight. What in the hell is the point of making an apt here then?! If you guys know youre understaffed and that there is a pandemic going on plan accordingly dont make a customer waste their day thinking somethings going to get done when you couldnt deliver. Joke of a place. I never write reviews but that was one of the most ridiculous and unprofessional places ive ever encountered.
I love my vehicle but I wish I would have gone through a different dealership.Visalia Honda has NOT been been holding up their end of the contract. I bought my vehicle over a month ago and the pay off on my old vehicle that I traded in has not been completed to date. About 2 weeks after my purchase I called the dealership to ask why the pay off has not been completed. They told me there was an error on the contract and they werent sure what the error was. I kept calling and getting told I would be called back to get an update on the error that was made. It took a whole week to figure out what the error was - about 4 days before the payment on my OLD vehicle was due I had to resign the contract for my new vehicle and was told the pay-off check would be over nighted to the finance company on my old vehicle. Came the due date for the payment on my old vehicle and it was not paid off. Its now 5 days over due and this is Hondas responsibility. They have not reached out to me to resolve this - if I did not catch this error I doubt they would have noticed.When I purchased my vehicle it had water spots that stained all of my windows. A week later I took my vehicle back and they were going to detail it to remove the spots. I left my vehicle for a full day and picked it up the next day and the water spots were NOT removed. Ive asked again to have this fixed and am being told I will receive a call to get this scheduled but this has also not been done.Its unfortunate that once they make their sale - the customer becomes irrelevant. I would recommend going through a different dealership.
I actually bought for my first car here not to long ago. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Ramiro who was one of the sales men their who helped me with the purchase. I qualified for a great interest rate and great monthly payments. I would of given this a five star review if they would of thrown in a window tint in the deal due to being a hot summer. It does get really hot in the car but nevertheless overall great experience.
Went by at 6pm on Dec 3rd Tuesday. The lights for parts was off so we asked 1 of the 10 employees standing around outside if we can buy a part. The hours state the parts center closes at 9pm. There are a lot of negative reviews and now I know why. I had my car checked under warranty and its still not fixed. Id give no stars if it would let me. Another thing, everytime we go to that dealership the guys are always playing around and cussing. Salesmen should be more professional.
Be very cautious when visiting this dealership as they are playing with the wrong numbers. They quoted me a monthly lease payment for the 2019 Civic Sports way even higher than what Im paying for the Accord Sports. My credit score was at 804. I went to another dealership and got a very good deal!

I felt he went beyond his concern in making me feel in restoring my faith in the service department. Which in the past it wasnt. I filled out an application online requesting information about a car I’m interested in and they immediately called me back. I wasn’t ready to give them any information and I just told them I didn’t speak English and he said: “This is America, speak English” and they he hung up. I will never buy a car at the Visalia Honda!

Worst customer service
I needed an oil change & tried multiple times calling. Each time was greeted with a message that they were busy and to leave a message. I didnt want to leave a messaged, so continued to call. Reached a live person after lunch. Was offered 2 apps that afternoon, which I gladly took. I asked for an oil change & a tire rotation. Process took 45 minutes to complete. However, when I looked at my paperwork at home, realized that no tire rotation took place, just checked the pressure. Seemed like a high price just for an oil change and routine inspection. Otherwise everyone was polite and helpful.
Out of three Honda Dealerships that Ive been to, sadly this is the worst one yet. And its closest to my home.
It was my first time visiting Visalia Honda . Overall it was great experience. people were nice and the service for my Honda was quickly done. I wish I could tell you the service person name but he never introduced himself when I first came in. Just can I help you. He never made that emotional connection with me as a valued customer. Horrible customer service! Ive called a couple times to get an estimate on new tires and also ask about my tire warranty which I purchased when I purchased my vehicle from here. However, every time I call no one answers in that department. Ive left two voicemails with NO RETURNED CALL!!

Came here to get my Civics taillight fixed and take care of an airbag recall. Visalia Honda was very prompt, polite and did a great job on fixing my car. I will definitely be back whenever my car needs help!
After purchasing my last 3 new cars there I will NOT be back. The salesman that I spoke to didnt ack like he wanted to sell me a car. Came back from the finance guy with a payment 4 times what I said I wanted to pay. He didnt give me back my registration and when I called back to get it he said he didnt have it but would email me a copy since he had made a photocopy. That never happened either. I left a message for his boss but havent received a call back from him yet. HORRIBLE customer service!

Very overpriced on service
My family and I were in need of a new car but where unsure of what we wanted. We went into Visalia Honda just to take a look around when Ramiro came around and helped us look around. He started explaining the cars that peaked our interest. By the end of the day, we were sold and walked out with a brand new 2016 Honda Accord. Ramiro was very generous and diligent in helping us find a car that fit our needs.

If you like to get ripped off for repairs and enjoy lousy service thenthis is the place for you...They tried to charge me $800 for brakesfor 2 wheels. After I told them that there is no way I would pay thatthey called up 2 hours later and said they could do them for $400.In other words, if I hadnt balked at the first price they would havehappily took my $800. As it was they charged me $545 for a doorlock activator of which $350 was labor, WOW, Never Ever willI take my Honda there for service.
Went in for an oil change. The person that helped me was polite, professional and the place was clean. However the oil change with tire rotation cost me $95. IN my past experiences with oil changes and tune ups the dealerships will also detail and wash my car...This did not happen. I find my self questioning why I should use these basic services when I could have had it done for half the cost?

He went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. We were there for like 6 hours and he was there from beginning to the end. Initially I was very upset, because I felt misinformed and taken advantage of. After voicing my concerns publicly, The team at Honda mobilized quickly to understand my frustration and resolve my issues/concerns. What resulted was just a misunderstanding and miscommunication. Mistakes are made daily and I appreciate the time and effort the team took to respond to the mistakes & miscommunications. Terrible service. Went in to look at the Civic Type R and SI, walked in through the main doors and about 4-5 salesman were sitting around on their phones with their feet up. None of them greeted me or even looked up from their phones. It wasnt until I walked up to the Type R civic when someone finally came up and asked if Ive been helped, even though I walked passed all of them and none even acknowledged me. Asked to test drive, but the service department had the keys and were closed. Fine. Went out to look at the Civic SIs and nobody could find the keys. They also denied my request to test drive the SI and said I had to sit down and give some information and talk numbers before test driving.I would have walked out with a brand new Civic Type R or SI if it wasnt for the crappy service.Right before going to the Honda dealership, I was at the Toyota dealership. The difference in service was night and day. I didnt even have to walk into the Toyota building and someone was already greeting me.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this dealership. Friendly staff and great salesmen. I worked with Jeremy Albright when I bought my Honda Pilot. He was able to keep it in my budget and I will go back there in the future for my service as well. If you are in need of a good car go see Jeremy!
Immediately seen when my battery died. Service Advisor Arron Alldredge was very courteous and helpful I was allowed credit for the months the battery was still under warranty. Battery replaced with a new one. I am pleased with Visalia Honda and I will always have my Honda cars serviced there. Also, I have had good experiences when traveling at another dealership, Hayward Honda.
There was a mistake made the first time we went in to have warranty work done on my car but it was the manner in which Ruben and the team dealt with it that gets a five star rating. A technician came to our home to take care of the problem and the necessary parts were ordered and installed ASAP. Everyone was fantastic and the service was quick. Jessica was sweet and professional. I manage customer service as a profession and therefore set a pretty high bar; this team exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a a vehicle and want to ensure you will be well taken care of I would highly recommend Visalia Honda. Both my husband, Rico, and I were very pleased with their service. After booking my appointment, I took my car into Honda for regular maintenance service (oil change, tire rotation, etc. and inspection) and the service was excellent. I dropped the car off, went to lunch with my daughter. While at lunch, I received a text message and a phone call notifying me the car was ready for pick up. Therefore, they were on the job immediately after drop off and no long waiting times. Excellent Service! Thank You

Beware!!!! They forgot to rotate my tires, yet I had paid for it. No apology was given when we return to have it rotated the next day. I guess its our responsibility to make sure that they did their job. Wonder what else they didnt do????? Brake check ?? Oil Filter change?? Maintenance checkup??? BEWARE!!!!!!
Easy place to do business with. No pressure salesman got me what I wanted for the price I expected and it was all done in under 2 hours. New 2016 Civic out the door for 20k.
I am always satisfied with the service and maintenance on my car. Setting up appointments is fast and easy. They provide transportation whilenyou wait for maintain to be done, if you need it. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
My daughter made an online appointment to have her car serviced on 12/24. Upon arrival the service department was very rude and told them they shouldnt have brought it in because they didnt have an appointment. However, when confronted with the confirmation they suddenly changed their tune. Very rude, mean, and unprofessional. The name Groppetti used to mean honor, integrity and service.
I was on a road trip far away from home when the check engine light on my Honda CR-V came on. This was the reason to go to Visalia Honda. The service person (Arron) was very professional, responsive, and caring in advising us of the options and resolving the problem. My experience was extremely positive and I highly recommend this place.

Even though I arrived a few minutes past my scheduled appointment time, they got me right in and finished the work on my car quickly. I really appreciate the care they gave me and my car and their goal to stay on time.
Buying a vehicle from Visalia Honda was no problem. The service department however has proven to be less than even one star in my opinion. The salesman was successful in selling me extras to add to my purchase. These items were to be in within 7-10 days. That did not happen. On day 14, (a Tues.) they called to schedule an appointment for Fri. to have this done. I was not able to make it for that day so we decided on Mon. On Fri. I get a call telling me that they still dont even have the parts. We reschedule for Wed. Keep in mind, this is a brand new vehicle. The A/C is not working and I ask them to check that also. I was told this would probably take 3-4 hours total. It is over 30 hours later, I do not have my car. They cannot figure out how to fix the issue but have not sought a competent tech for advice. I have gotten many excuses (when they choose to answer the call) but no solution and definite unsatisfactory customer service. Would I recommend Honda of Visalia? Absolutely NOT! Update: It is after 5:00 PM. I will not be getting my car back again today. I contacted Honda Headquarters to express my concerns. At that time I was informed of a re-call on my new vehicle. I notified Gropetti Honda of Visalia service manager Ed so that this could be handled while they have the car as I do not wish to take it back again. Ed informed me that this had already been taken care of, however I had not been told of it and he thanked me for the heads up which I would have to assume was referring to the fact that I did tell him I had contacted Honda Headquarters. There is much education in customer service and satisfaction that needs to take place at this dealership. Their mission statement is very encouraging in print but words are just words unless put into action.
I bought a 2019 because they didn’t know how to fix the original problem with my 2016 - a very known electric error that was apparent I n that particular model that they had already “fixed” a month prior. Every time I take it to the service department it amazes me how much they mess up even more. In this recent endeavor they kept my car all day to install just the tint, because no one ordered the side protector paneling. I made this appointment earlier in the week expecting to get all of what I paid for taken care of. I’ve had my car a month and have had to contact them three times about this, when they initially said they would contact me after ten business days to schedule this appointment. Shame on me for wanting a Honda, and more specifically for giving this particular dealer a second chance.
2 hours of waiting and my car battery is still not replaced. Also came in for a recall but the parts werent delivered on time so this appointment turned to 2. Enough said.

Got in just before 8am for standard maintenance. They got me right in and I was out of there after around 1 hour and a half. I think it was a little long for the oil change I was requesting but they were really helpful and fixed a low tire pressure gauge in addition.
Bought a 2014 Honda Civic Coupe LX over the weekend, had a great experience. Dealers were nice and helpful. They didnt have the color I wanted at first but managed to get the color I wanted shipped the next day. Would go back again for my next car.
Brought my Accord in because I accidentally pulled out the knock sensor wire replacing my starter. Asked them to replace the wire since I didn’t have a soldering gun to do it myself. After two days they informed me I needed a new starter (after I had just replaced old one) and they would need to order the entire wiring harness which cost $350. After I refused to agree to this unnecessary work they still tried to charge me $135 to tell me what I already knew (my knock sensor wire is out of place). Complete waste of time here. Took it to Midas and they replaced the wire no questions asked. The degree of incompetence at this Honda repair center is next to none. Nobody communicates to each other and I feel like the technicians don’t know what they’re doing. Come here if you wanna get hit with many unnecessary charges!
My first service appointment with Visalia Honda was a very positive experience. Aaron, my service rep took very good care of my appointment and the person providing transportation from and to Honda was exceptional. Impressed.
Stopped for service while on an extended vacation and and the service crew went out of their way to get the work done quickly and efficiently and get us back on the road. Very friendly and helpful place to be.
Being yelled at by Finance guy is not a way to sell cars. Also, when they tell u that they going to go through deep diagnostics after youve changed the power steering pump and coming back saying is the power steering pump isnt deep diagnostics. Breaking the intake holes and then blaming it on me isnt good ethics.

Buying my car was fairly simple, but getting anyone to return a phone call on any matter is a nightmare. I wish I would’ve chosen another dealership. My phone call gets passed on from person to person and everyone promises to call back but no one ever does. The most horrible dealership I’ve ever encountered.
