I am extremely disappointed with this dealer my car has been at this dealership with three recalls. My car caught fire due to a recall. It was at there dealership and they were supposed to have my car inspected and they told me 30 days 30 days come and went then I had to contact them they told me was 60 days and each and every time it was me getting a hold of them even having to call corporate and then finally they gave me some answers after almost 3 months that they’re not gonna fix my car under the recall because the original screws were not in the doorhandle this is the most absurd thing that I have ever heard toyota does not stand by the recalls does not stand by their word how are you not going to fix the car that caught fire doodle recalls and then tell the owner they’re not gonna stand by that
I am extremely disappointed with Visalia Honda. My family and I have purchased all of our cars from Groppetti because we want to support our community however, after today I will no longer go to any Groppetti dealership. I went in to have a part replaced on my 2018 Honda. I dropped off my car at 9:30am and picked it up at 2pm. When I got my car the entire front grill and part of the hood was scratched! My car was in excellent condition! I told the service manager (Kevin Van Pelt) about it and in the beginning he tried to help. It seemed as if he tried to get it buffed out which was NOT okay. After being unable to do so, he returned with my car and said that he was unable to figure out who worked on my car. I asked Kevin what would happen to my car because it was unacceptable. Kevin replied well get it taken care of and that is all. Kevin expected me to leave and assure that he will take care of it? I was not happy. I asked if I could get that in writing so to have evidence that it WILL be taken care of. He said that he couldnt do that because he was not sure if Honda was responsible. At this point I was furious. I felt like Kevin was accusing me of lying. I told him that they did an inspection of my car prior to having it worked on that day and to check that paper work to see if any of that damage was on there. After that, Kevin agreed to write me a paper stating that Honda would repair the damage to my car. I may be young but I am not dumb. After an hour of arguing with Kevin I left to quality paint and body with the paper to get an estimate for my car. Quality paint and body told me they would contact Honda and Kevin, so I hope to hear from them both soon because I want my car fixed the way it was before today.
Looking for a new car? Maybe a new to you, car? Look no further. This staff and this organization are perfectly the right folks to see. My father has been a customer for decades and I plan my next purchase with them as well. I have had vehicles serviced here and they are truly exceptional . ..
The staff are great. The cars are well priced. The only reason why I put a 2 star rating is because we have been waiting for our rear window for our van for almost 2 years. When we bought it the window was blurry and for some reason they are having alot of trouble getting a new one.
Serviced my recall here. Left the car (early bird) and got it back fixed the next day. No problems or complaints; pleasant staff.
Took my Toyota in for a routine oil change, done quickly, parked my car for the weekend (it’s my work car) and was out of town until the following Monday. Came home to see oil all over my driveway, contacted them and brought it in a day later, and the service person blamed it on a seal..I told her it wasn’t the seal (the car is a year old and wasn’t leaking before), the mechanic did not secure the oil filter completely and the oil was leaking thru that gap..I left reviews on their site and sent one to their GM..no reply or offer to clean the oil from my driveway..Horrible business practices
I recently purchased a 2021 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Prime, a vehicle that is in limited production and difficult to get. I had to go to Michaels Toyota in Fresno to do so.As a long time Porterville resident, my first choice was Visalia Toyota, 40 miles away. I, in fact, made three trips to this dealership, once to see what was on the lot, a second time to actually speak to a salesman and a third time, on a specific appointment with one of the sales managers with intention of buying the vehicle and putting money down to secure it. The third visit was set up on the phone and I was to meet the sales manager with whom I was speaking, the next day at 10:15am, a time chosen by that salesmanager. The next day I drove over from Porterville, I arrived at 10:15 only to be told that the sales manager decided to take the day off. I left without buying a vehicle. Ironically, as I returned home, I had the experience of listening to a radio advertisement extolling the virtues of keeping our business local and buying a car from a this particular automotive group in general.I returned home, wrote a letter to the owner of the auto group/dealership relating the events as noted above, which I sent by email to the dealership and by hardcopy in the mail that same day. The hardcopy was returned to me unopened a week later and I never received any response from the dealership concerning my emailed copy.I went to Fresno several days later and was able to purchase the vehicle with the assistance of a competent, caring sales manager who went out of his way to locate that particular vehicle. I pick up the vehicle today. Ive still yet to hear from Visalia Toyota about their their cavalier attitude toward customers, three weeks later. So much for keeping out business local.Addendum:After three weeks since my visit as described above and about one week after posting the somewhat negative review noted above, I received a call from Mr. Mike Hagans, the Dealership General Manager. Mr. Hagans and I had a pleasant conversation. He related that the hard copy of my letter was returned because the Post Office does not deliver mail to the dealership building even though there is a physical address. When I mentioned the email that never received a response, he related that internet and email service is spotty at their location.Mr. Hagan related that he felt that I gave the impression that no one offered to help me on the day that I was stood up by the sales manager with whom I had an appointment. Two salesmen did offer their services, but it was not with the person with whom I had an appointment. As noted, the vehicle in question is difficult to acquire because of scarcity Also, the salesman with whom I had spoken the day before did not even know that Toyota was making a PHEV version of the Rav4. I felt it best to do business with someone who was better informed and who might actually be able to find the vehicle in question, a sales manager rather than a salesman. So, Yes, I did receive offers to help from others, but not from the person with whom I had spoken the day before and who specifically had made an appointment with me. That person, knew that I was intent on a specific vehicle and that I was coming over to put money onto that vehicle. He did not make an attempt to reschedule with me, the most obvious thing to do. Mr. Hagan assured me that he did discuss this with the person and that it would be corrected. In the meantime, Im enjoying my new vehicle purchased from Michaels Toyota in Fresno.
Good few man In nissan comp. Armando think where money find to pay vehicle
From all the reviews, I thought I would have had a great experience with their service department but I was dead wrong. I took my vehicle to the Honda dealership to get work done and the customer service was horrible by the gentleman named Ricardo. Not to mention I left my vehicle there for a whole week while they ordered the equipment they needed to perform the diagnosis on my vehicle. While it was there I went back mid week to get items that had been left in the vehicle and to my surprise those items were missing. I notified Ricardo about the situation and he said that it was impossible for any items of the vehicle to be missing. At this point I was furious because I was also missing a set of house keys. After going back and forth over the next few days about the situation they agreed to finally replace the items that were missing but they couldn’t do anything about the missing keys. Even at that point they were denying that the items were missing. So the day before I was going to pick up the vehicle, I get a call from the service manager stating that they had found the house keys next to a trash can. The vehicle was left unlock while it was in there possession outside and everything was taken out of it. Finally they were willing to admit that it was their fault and the vehicle was broken into while In their possession and everything was taken out. Worst customer service I have ever experienced by a service department
Got a way better deal at another Honda dealership for the same car. If you like to play the back and forth game over and over and still pay more than this is your dealership. I do not recommend
Dropped in for a regular oil change, waited about 2 hours. It was mid-day Friday so definitely a little long. There isnt much seating in the waiting area, so i suggest making an appointment. Unfortunately, they dont do some services that I am used to at other dealerships; greeting you at your car, and other little courtesys. Not a big deal though.
The service is very unique oh, and when you leave there youre very satisfied. And the technician are willing to explain to you exactly what they did.
Andrew was outstanding. We told him what we we were looking for as far the type of vehicle, price range, and monthly payments and was able to immediately identify and select a car that fit our needs. He was able to meet all of our necessities and drove off in the perfect car. Andrew communicated with us on a personal level as opposed to business only and was far from overly aggressive. I recommend any and everyone request see Andrew if you’re looking to buy a new vehicle. Thank you Andrew and all of Groppetti Automotive for your help.
Very nice staff friendly and talkative. Very thorough with the whole process. Makes it easy to buy from them.
Groppetti Ford is always done a wonderful job in servicing my vehicle. However, on Monday 7/16/19, I called and scheduled an appointment at 4pm. When I arrived, Jason, the service tech, asked me why I was there. I proceeded to tell him, it was to have my car serviced. He asked me, oil change? I repeated, to have my car serviced, and of that included an oil change than yes. He then stated that it would be about 1-1.5 hours because they were over booked. I told him, even if I have an appointment? His response was, you have an appointment? I totally understand his frustration however, it was not my fault that they were overbooked. Typically after every service, I receive a survey, this time, i never received the link, so I called and spoke to Francisco and asked if he could send me the link. It never happened. I was treated poorly and after 5 years of using them to service my vehicle, I think I will now switch and take my vehicle to Monarch Ford in Exeter.
I wont be purchasing a vehicle there anymore. When I have a question and leave a message I dont get a call back poor communication.
Excellent service in parts dept. Made a appointment for service will post again after service is completed.
Went in for a window service that was covered under life time electrical services because i bought car new off the lot. Took it in and they charged me full service claiming window motor seems to be tampered with no one but them has ever touched my car in the 4 years of owning it.
Awsome people, very nice, especially Honda Dave. He gave us a spectacular deal on a brand new Honda Civic. Wonderful experience.
Great service. Good coffee machine while waiting.
Salespersons were not pushy or demanding very knowledgable, willing to work out a payment plan to what your able to afford per month!! 10+ for the great service! Thanks Reno!!!
Its hard for you to get a good deal here.
Fast service and they have a coffee/latte machine for all to enjoy. I only took my Honda in for a manufacturer recall but they also did a multi point inspection on my car for free as well. Checked my tires, fluids, filters and more! They told me the state they were in ranging from checked and ok, attention recommended, and attention required. I highly recommend this dealerships service shop.
To be honest this place was great but now they dont care anymore they try say everything is wrong with your car got second opinion and well that why I stop going back there was nothing wrong with my car
I have mixed feelings about Groppetti. Sometimes they are great and sometimes they arent so pleasant.
Good service, didn’t feel pressured and I was able to find a car within my budget that I really love!
The service is oustanding! Took my vehicle in for maintenance, and having car problems is terrible enough. Eddie an employee there had great customer service and helpful. In addition—as I watched through the large window—the mechanics the worked on my vehicle a truly profesional and working meticulously. OUTSTANDING!
Ok service friendly staff
Easy to work with. Got the car I wanted at the price I asked for.
Simply just love the company. Always friendly
Great, quality service. Staff are super.
These 5 stars are for my family members who are not really into doing feedback. Both my brother and aunt had purchased their own cars from Groppetti Nissan in the past 4-8 months. They said the were treated like guest and were also treated with empathy of either of their current situations. I know others of been treated bad in the past reviews but not all the Managers and or sales consultants arent bad. Anywho I would recommend them to my friends.
Absolute garbage management team. They can’t get their heads out their rear ends. No communication what so ever. False promises being told every hour. Mike the manager at Nissan is just an idiot has no management skills what so ever. That includes the manager at Toyota as well. I have never been given such a run around in my entire life. That’s guys ran us round and round and round. Telling us lies after lie about one truck we were ready to purchase. We saw it on the lot test drove it started the process just to be told it was being held for another person. Since when do you “hold” vehicles for people if they don’t buy it then then they don’t get out on hold!!!!! Sorry bunch of idiots.
Was there for servicing on my sienna. They did a great job. Only drawback nited during my visit was lack of knowledgeable sales staff availability when shopping for a new commuter car for my wife. I attribute this to the current issues associated with the pandemic. I am sure it will get better.
I feel like I was very much taken advantage of. I bought a used Buick enclave 2011 about six months ago. Within the last month, I paid for $2000 worth of repairs, and, In addition, they wanted to charge me $1500 to change the brakes. They gave me a very long explanation about why the rates are so expensive, which was a total lie. I ended up taking my car to a nice business in Dinuba, thanks to my dad. We bought the parts at Smith auto, and Pacific tire installed. They charged us $70 to install and it was done within one hour. In total with parts and labor, we paid $250. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior, anyone who reads this needs to take their business elsewhere! I would like to know how much of my money was stolen from me with the previous two repairs that they did for me! 😡😡😡
Excellent customer service, genuine good people!!
They do all my service that work there on my Nissan Rogue they do a great job
If youre looking for a good car this a place to go see they got a lot of vehicles to look.
Absolutely fantastic! Albert was extremely helpful and nice!
Bought the brand new Buick Cascada this week! The Staff was so amazing and helpful! They answered all my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. One salesman, not the one who sold us the car, looked up and printed me a TON of useful information on caring for the rag top. I was impressed with the teamwork! The whole process seemed to go quickly and painlessly! THANK YOU GROPPETTI AUTOMOTIVE for an amazing car buying experience!!!
I purchased my vehicle from Groppetti Automotive in 2014.About six months ago, I took my car into the shop for a routine service. At the end of the day, I returned to pick my vehicle up and was told by the service rep that the car was not ready because they were waiting for replacement parts. Subsequently, I left to rent a car so that I could go to work the next day. Upon returning the next afternoon to pick up my vehicle, I was informed that the part had still not arrived. I inquired as to what the part was and was told that they were waiting for replacement windshield wipers! I was furious! I paid my bill and left before blowing my top! Why would they allow me to rent a car for $65/day, just because a pair of $40 wipers had not come in? When I completed the online survey, I asked to have the Service Manager call me about my concerns. I never received a call, which tells me that they did not want to address the problem with me. Maybe they thought I would just go away. This week, I thought I would give them another try so I took the car back, again for a routine service. I have no complaints about the repair/service work performed; however, one of their staff left a large black (possibly grease) stain on the floor mat on the drivers side. They also left black hand prints on the outside of the drivers side door as well as inside on the door panel. Additionally, they left a black bar on the floor board, drivers side, possibly a throttle bar?I will give credit where credit is due. The staff were courteous and friendly; however, they really need to work on being more detail-oriented when caring for customers vehicles. Im not sure that I will go back.I wonder if Don Groppetti is aware of the quality of service that his team is providing.Duane IwamuraVisalia, CA
Wanted to charge $175 diagnostic for a broken truck latch. Not including the truck latch🤔😣
First of all, Im posting on here instead of G A Motorsports reviews because I know that G A is owned by Groppetti Automotive and since their are no responses on G A reviews. Purchased a used CBR1000rr from G A Motorsports. Bike was advertised as a 2016, even the key tag I have says 2016. Wasnt told till day of signing after I already found out through researching it was a 2014 just prior to signing. Its a nice bike with decent miles so i proceeded. I was told all trade ins to be resold go through a rigorous inspection and G A only takes top quality bikes to re-sell. I asked if there have been any accidents or if the bike has been dropped and I was told, No. I finally got into mechanic to inspect a couple weeks later and had some parts added. When I went to pick up the bike I was told the bike has in fact been in a collision and the fairings were hiding it. Paid $9000 for a previously wrecked bike. Although some of the damage was replaced or patched, the damage is obvious under plastic. Anyone that knows about motorcycles, knows that a bikes value depreciates and re-selling is a loss of money anytime a bikes been layed down yet alone being in an actual collision. I lost money as soon as I drove off the G A lot. I have called and tried to get a Gropetti manager (not at G A Motorsports but someone not involved in this sale) on the phone but had no luck or returned calls. I went to a dealership to avoid these kind of deceptions from private sales. Could have bought a wrecked bike a few thousand less. (Pics of ads saying 2016 and damage to be posted)
These guys are good.
Knowledgeable, professional and personal. helpful.
Great customer service every time we go. Coffee machine is clean, theres a kids room too which makes things so much easier.
Great automobiles, but keep away from Toyota financial
I have been going for decade now i bougbt 3 cars from them great service professional people
I give it one star only because I can’t give it no stars. This is my third review and I notice all the bad reviews somehow get deleted. What a coincidence!! This place is full of unprofessional people who make empty promises just to make a sell. They don’t care one once about their customers. I tell people all the time to not do business with this place and I have been told the same. I have met so many people who have had horrible experiences with this place and I wished I had listened to them.
Took my 2015 Kia Cadenza in for the 30k service and they were very friendly and helpful with getting it done in a timely manner will definitely be going back when I get more done thanks for professional attitudes. Adriana Marcias was awesome
The workers are so friendly I really recommend going there for a check up for your car
Very nice employees. Quick and friendly
Very bad place. They took advantage of my husband. The sales men told him well I guess you shouldnt have came in sick to buy a car. Mind you my husband has stage 4 cancer and was thinking he was buying a 15 thousand dollar car, which ended up being 35 thousand because they tacked On things that he didnt ask for, and how we found out is by the bank! Because we thought we where done paying of the car. 12thousand cash payment and 5 thousand dollars car trade in. Which came out to17 down. Would never recommend this place.
Great service! They are always on time, reasonably priced, and they do great work!
Always take great care of me as a customer
Great customer service. Dealership prices but I think the quality of work is great.
Bought our Nissan Altima there, they have a good service department!
Since Aaron left now I take my car with Lorenzo. Nice guy
Jason is the best salesperson.
First of all I whish I could give no stars at all, second they dont pay there employees as it should be. They still pay there tecs flag rate and they dont even have master tecs. Mr. Don gropetti is nothing than another rich person that does not care about its employees and customers not only that. They scam people of there hard earn money, dont bother coming to any of Mr. Don gropettis dealerships I certainly wont come here ever again.Plus they are so full of them self that they threaten you with very serious alegions of being mobsters and I do believe they bribe local police. And this comes from local valley farmers such as my self.
Awesome customer service. The shuttle guy marcelino rocks.
Needed a new key for my Versa Note.. quick, easy, and friendly...
Took my Toyota rav4 for it service on Tuesday 4/3/18, on Wed I saw white smoke coming from the back I thought it was the car next to me in the freeway, so then Friday it did it again and this time I saw where it was coming it was my car uugh and it did twice, so called Toyota service and told me to make an appt but that I could come in on Saturday but couldnt guarantee me the would be able to see my car so why would tell me to take it Uuggh so instead the sons the could see the car is Tuesday ok made and appt, so I decide to have son check my car and see if the oil was over full and it was so I called Toyota and the told me to bring it in and they try to get to it as soon possible, so after 35 min the came and told me that the car had over 2 quarts of oil more that it should of had they ask me if I put oil in my car are u freaking for really mind u they serviced on Tuesday very disappointed with Toyota, to ask me if I put oil wow, it was your service person who did I hope my car dont have damage for there mistake.....
The wait time for service is terrible I went in for an oil change spent two hours waiting. Overall clean, polite staff and good location.
Was promised a price and when we get there ar the specified time thwy say they sold it and want to negotiate a new deal
Wouldnt let me get a copy of credit report they pulled.
Worst - Experience - Horrible Service staff -
WARNING DO NOT WORK HERE! DO NOT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE HARRASSED. NEVER IN MY LIFE MET A MORE UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY THEN THIS FAMILY OWED BS.
April Sky referred me to Groppetti Automotive of Visalia. Im an avid listener to Classic Rock 99.7. April was right its the best dealership around. I am happy to say that Toyota of Visalia was a hassle free dealer and I am one happy customer. Thanks Classic Rock 99.7 and My fav ~ April Sky, for the Summer drive through promotion.

ALOHA SIR DONALD GROPETTI ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME YOU PRISON IN VISALIA BECAUSE BENJAMIN FRAUDULENTLY CLAIM MY APPLICATION WAS REAL.RELEASE MY 2005 HYUNDAI SANTA FE!!!
Not same experience I had before when I bought our van and mini suv
Had an appointment to change my oil but when i arrived they told me they were doing a fleet of cars, so i would have to wait 2 1/2 to 3 hours
I wasnt completely satisfied. Staff friendly enough but problem still exist wants to charge another Fee to look at the same problem that at the time stated issued resolved. Thats a shame to recharge again thats my opinion.
Nice people just unrealistic on the prices. Went to Las Vegas and save $6,000 dollars and a Toyota Camry.
