A fun way to eat ice cream. Lots of interesting flavor combos

Didnt even know about this place! So many options to chose from. You can either make your own from scratch favor of ice cream/topings or they have some to pick from. We got 5 bowls but I only got a picture of these two. Loved them they taste different from regular ice cream super good !

Hey yall! Have you tried #howweroll in #downtownvisalia ?! If not you absolutely should, locally owned and operated, and absolutely delicious. They let me get some action shots, and watch them assemble my ice cream right before my eyes! Fun for kiddos, and with summer around the corner ice cream is a great outing 😋🍦Me and hubby tried Strawberry feild and Dirt worms, and oh boy was it good!The ice cream lasted a good while in my cup and didnt melt as quick as one would anticipate. The ice cream its self takes Maybe 3 minutes to form and to freeze up and its a pretty awesome sight to see your ice cream being made right in front of you! I cant imagine all the fun combinations you could make if you added in your own mix ins and toppings.Super clean inside and they had two little tables outside to enjoy your icecream as well. The two people making the ice cream whom I assume to be father and daughter were super friendly and kind. There is a whole printed list of combinations if you dont want to make your own which I have included down below, if your like me and need to study your choices before going!

Just left here 8/1/21. Not busy, plenty of employees, only a couple people ahead of us. We ordered our ice cream and were asked to wait outside. I thought part of the experience was you get watch the ice cream freeze on the prep area and then rolled. I was happy to see the called us back in to watch the process. Problem is my daughters was being made on the left prep are and the young lady made mine on the far right and didnt let us know. I was then handed my completed cup while they finished my daughters. Disappointed that the employees get to pick who the want to be nice to. I was standing right there, and no one bothered to tell me. I complained which ruined the trip, because I wanted to have a treat with my daughter. Not the worst thing that could happen, but the ice cream is not that great, pretty much a rip off. The total amount of ice cream you get for 6 dollars plus, is the same cup they give you for the small nachos at taco bell. About one third cup. Its feathered and rolled to fill a small or medium cup. Kinda deceiving, there not really making the ice cream, they are just freezing and preping it for an outrageous price. One visit to this place is it for me.

The long line is definitely worth the wait! Especially when youre in the company of someone awesome. lol. Customer service was exceptional

Pretty good ice cream shop and different ice cream experience. I love many topping options they have to get creative with. Granted it can be quite daunting to see all the choices, but they have a very clear step-by-step menu to help you through the process and build your ice cream. They are fairly expensive treats though. We got two mediums and the total came out to $15+. I wanna say this is one of the only rolled ice cream places here, so its worth checking out at least once. Its definitely a good place to go to if you wanna spoil yourself.

Love this place. It’s a small store but great ice cream options with lots of variety flavors and toppings to choose from. Friendly staff. I ordered online and picked up my order with no hassle. The flavors are so creamy and delicious. Favorite new ice cream place! 🥰

First time with the kids never had shaved ice cream before. Pretty good customer service. Nice and cool air conditioner inside too. Clean seating outside.

The ice cream was good. Its not your ordinary ice cream Im used to eating. It was good, but personally prefer hand scooped. It was my first time trying that type of ice cream. After backpacking for three days hand scoop is the way to go for me. But is was a new experience that was good.

There was a group of 5 who ordered after me, they got their order before I got mine. I order 2 ice creams one of which they got wrong. The place is kept way to warm so when you get your ice cream it’s pretty much half melted. They need to hire more mature people because it seems as tho no one in that place has a clue as to what’s going on.

Ice cream was great ! Really fun experience. Pretty quick even for the busy line. The whole team was bustin there butts you could tell. Especially one girl she was making ice cream and going outside to call people’s orders. I think her name was Jacqueline she had glasses. Good jobs you guys p.s get a tip jar

My husband & I went there yesterday for the first time & ohmygoodness! It was AMAZINGLY GOOD!!! We were really shocked! Worth every penny thats for sure! Cannot wait to go back there again on payday! lolBUT not only was the ice cream amazing but the staff was SUPER polite, kind, & patient! Very hard workers there!Like I said cannot wait to go back on payday definitely the first thing were going to do!😆🙏🏼

I had my ice cream in my cup for at least 10 min after and it was still intact. The flavors all blended nicely and the menu was pretty straight forward. There werent really any exotic flavors just the typical base vanilla chocolate mint or coffee options. Very kind staff! Not much room in the place to social distance but visitors are conscious of masks.

Everything was delicious. Collin, the young man behind the counter was extra friendly and welcoming, he was very helpful and extra knowledgeable about the menu. His crew members could benefit from slapping on a friendly smile and emulating a little of the fun vibe energy that he has. Cool new spot thats a must try.

Tried this place for the first time on a Monday early afternoon. We got out order within 10 mins. The ice cream was so cool to watch being made in front of you. If you dont want to wait, just call in your order and pick it up when ready. Overall, nice place. A few more smiles and interest in their customers visiting would be nice. The ice cream itself was very good. I appreciate their business.

The music was so loud none could hear. They got my order wrong and meanwhile I had to yell back and forth with the person making our ice cream to try to overpower the music. It was crowded. They werent enforcing the policy posted on their door to allow one party into the store at a time and about half of the patrons were not wearing masks. One unmasked person loomed over the ice cream counter as my icecream was being made which felt pretty unsafe since the glass shield has a 1 inch gap between the horizontal and vertical panels. The entire experience was so unpleasant, I just wanted to get out of there and I didnt realize the order was wrong until I was in my car already.

They are exceptionaly quick, even on saturday nightfollow covid restrictions,not to mention the ice cream is amazing

Super Delicious probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had before the creativity is off the roof with this it’s so fascinating watching them make it and a huge variety of options to add. For everyone that saying that it takes an hour or longer or takes a super long time it does matters at what time you come this place is super delicious to the point where you might have to wait an hour but for us it took us five minutes to get our food and it was worth it.

So yummmy....I dont really like ice-cream and I ate half of mine!!!! That is saying ALOT for me:)

Nice little rolled ice cream shop in downtown Visalia. My girlfriend and I had ordered the monkey business (Nutella mixed with banana) and cookies and dreams (cookies and cream) in kid sizes. Which I think is perfect, Im not a huge fan of ice cream but you get a good amount of ice cream for the $6 price we paid for each bowl. Customer service is good, friendly staff and the ice cream itself was average in my opinion. Ive been to other rolled shops in LA and the Bay Area those were much better in creativity but I love the concept that is brought here to the sleepy area of the South Valley. As a restaurant owner myself I see so much potential here and I hope these folks do well along with improve on their creativity with their products. I know with COVID everything has been tough on everyone. Overall its a nice place to stop by for ice cream, if you never had rolled ice cream come by and try it; all while at the same time youre supporting a local business during these hard times. Flavor wise it was good but it wasnt enough to want me coming back for more, but then again Im not really an ice cream guy.

Great first experience, there was a bit of a wait but it was so worth it!

This review is based on the first time I came to this place.(It was a Sunday afternoon around 5pm)This place was some was unorganized as far as how to make line, the chairs are all over the place, there was no water in the water dispensers, wait time wasnt too bad even though it was very full. I tried a monkey business and it was very very good. It is also very entertaining to watch while they make it. Will definitely be back another time hopefully the chairs arent all over the place. Worth the price!

First off from presentation to serving it was amazing! Then on top of that the ice cream was soooo good! Staff was very friendly and excellent at handling my order separately to accommodate for my peanut allergy which is a huge plus for me!!! I will be back next time Im in town!

Have to update my past review. I was finally able to try this product and I love it. No wonder they were so packed the first few months they opened. The ice cream is great and served just different enough in its simplicity and attention. Each order is personally made just the way you want it and you get to watch them make it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with creating the perfect combination for you. A little on the expensive side; which is why only giving 4 stars.

Wait times are crazy, we were quoted 30 mins and it ended up being more like 2 hours. The ice cream is good though, definitely worth the wait if youve never tried it rolled before! Almost chewy and the toppings are nice and fresh. Customer service was great too! Well be back when it slows down.

Took my boys here cause theyve been wanting to try it out. Before we ordered they let us know it was gonna be 45 min wait. Okay, we had time. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to change our mind if we chose. The guy taking orders was super friendly and helpful, great to my boys and might I add spot on with that time estimate. My teen timed it just to see and it was almost to the minute, only off by 1:43! The kids loved watching how its made, and I was able to share the origin and the hows, and whys to this new dessert to them. The other workers seemed a little timid, but their young, theyll come around d! My kids loved the flavors and the wimsicle play on ice cream. Thanks for a great experience, if I new the names Id praise specifically!

This fine establishment is a great place to get desert at. It is full of nice and respectful employees. They have a big selection to choose from and all are very good.

The ice cream was tasty but way overpriced. Each and every staff member looked as if theyd rather be anywhere else on earth. Doubt Ill return. When you pay $6.50 for a small serving of ice cream, you at least expect a smile.

The cream is excellent. A refreshing way to make ice cream. It’s obviously something we needed down town for the whole family instead of another club. It’s a nice after dinner or movie treat and The ice creams Great!!

There is no system in place to get out the product. There is a lack of direction and it looks like they reinvent the wheel each customer. Nice people, but no hustle. I do understand that this product takes longer to make, but there’s gotta be another way. What are your competitors doing? Why are they faster?

Great, fun upbeat atmosphere. Fun to watch your ice cream being made. Party of 4, we each had a different creation and they all tasted great!

I can totally see why other reviews say the wait is long, but every rolled ice cream place Ive been to takes a while. They roll it according to your order so duh! Totally delish. Went during the afternoon and only waited 15 minutes. Id definitely do it again.

The Ice Cream was honesty surprisingly delicious and being able to watch them make it in front of you is very fun. I just have a few suggestions. The actual building is small and the way they have the line set up is confusing. I went on the Grand Opening so it was understandable that the line was long but staff was not handling it well with some people waiting to order for a long time and some just leaving without receiving their ice cream. I noticed that way they make their ice cream is a little wasteful with them using two paper cups for every order and tossing them out after. I think that can be improved to make the shop even better, but overall I’m excited that a place like this came to downtown Visalia and would visit again on a not-so-busy day!
