Found a 9 pound ladder..ultra light but stable. Gorilla brand. Love Home Depot.
Fast curbside pick up service and very nice people here. Unfortunately there was nearly no data available in my experience (using Verizon) so letting them know by phone/online check-in that I had arrived took a long time. It probably would have been faster to just go into the store to wait in the customer service line and pick up my order – be ready for that possibility in case you also have bad cell service here!
Has a great variety of just about anything you need for house projects. Great Garden Center too
Rented a tiller from Frank in tool rental . Had amazing experience as he helped us load the tiller into the truck, went over and beyond in explaining every single detail about the operation & also was. very welcoming, humble and polite throughout the whole deal .. also did an amazing job when we returned it back . Thanks to Frank for being so helpful and generous .
Definitely an unpleasant visit had a lady Hovering the whole time completely prejudice and was very rude at the checkout counter even tho it was closeout time you should be sincere and very helpful. Christina was very nice she was very helpful everyone else was very prejudice even after the fact me and my boss both bought separately something. they were still being very rude .No we paid for everything in full and we were very polite but this place deserves a 1 star but because of that one helpful masked face Christina got you guys a twoBut there is a definite attitude adjustment needed on the self checkout area cashiers .At 05/10/218:27pm
This location has a good selection of everything and good prices. The drawback is that customer service is hit or miss. The other day I waited in line to check out at the garden center when the cashier left right when it was my turn. She said someone would take her place, but no one ever did. A man came to clear out the register(?) but didn’t acknowledge me at all. I’m writing this review because this wasn’t my first bad experience at the garden center and I’ve had a good experience with curbside delivery. If you’re looking for plants, it’s best go to a real nursery.
I just got off the phone with Home Depot vista California paint department. I was checking to see whether or not they had seven cans of spray paint in stock that they show on their site as in inventory. After the paint guy went to go check there was none. This has been a chronic behavior of the Home Depot‘s in northern San Diego County for several weeks now. No explanation for when it’s going to come in and blaming it all on supply chain. When you show seven cans in inventory and they’re not there that’s not supply chain that’s bad management and failure to do your job and manage your inventory. Get your clue Home Depot Lowes is going to win this race
Derek at Home Depot in Oceanside, CA. On Vista Way, is awesome.! Went to the extreme to help out an old lady in the garden dept.Hard to find such good manners! Home Depot, you should be proud to have Derek! Thank you young man!
Needed new kitchen faucet and water filter for my fridge. Had a great selection of faucets and carried my filter.
I ordered a patio set from this Home Depot. It was a floor model so I chose home delivery.Delivery was scheduled for today sometime between 6am and 8pm.That’s right they can’t, or won’t, narrow it down anymore than that. So I get up at 5:30 just in case I am the first delivery. At 3:00 I called the store to make sure they were still coming. I was assured that I could expect the delivery today by 8pm.At 4pm I received a call saying that they made a mistake and they need to schedule it for next Saturday, sometime between 6am and 8pm.The store messed up. Called with excuses. And then expected me to waste another 15+ hours for the delivery. They made no effort to make it right.Cancelled the order
Ordered some sprinkler heads online for pickup. Got a text msg directing me to a locker box where my item were located. Very easy.
We bought enhanced planting soil, citrus fertilizer, and peat starting pots. This location has a well stocked garden area. The people in the garden area have bend helpful when asked product questions.
I go here for free air regularly.
Dear Home Depot:Could you possibly make it more difficult to find what I need in your store?I mean, youve done a great job of scrambling everything around and not providing any in-store details about product locations. And I love how your employees use their short term employment as an excuse for not knowing where anything is either. But Ill bet that you could make it even more difficult if you really tried.
Well laid out and not as much junk in the isles as they have during the holidays. OK scratch that its all back...junk in every isle with the front isle being the worst. Just try and push a cart through this mess of add-on junk it will make you crazy. I try to avoid like the plague on the weekends. I get trying to maximize sales space but pallets in the middle of the busiest isle is not they way to do it.
This is our favorite home improvement store, and also our favorite location. They just dont seem to be as crazy busy as the other locations, FYI. We have gone in here unsure of how to complete a project, and leaving with all the right tools needed and also with great tips and how toos from the staff. Super helpful, and thats a big one for us, we are normal people not experts like these folks!
Never seem to have the store fully stocked.Todays visit was to get two white 15 amp single pole decora type light switches - ZERO in stock, not one one the shelf. Probably the most popular electric part and nothing. Thankfully there is a Lowes just down the street.
Great place to go and buy supplies
Friendly, knowledgeable, staff. Close to home. Usually have everything I need. I have needed to make a few returns, the process has been simple and quick.
Crazy how wonderful the people working here are.
I had a fantastic customer experience in dealing with Rebecca and Peggy at the Pro Desk of the Vista Home Depot (Store #1074). I had an issue with a pending delivery of a pallet of stepping stones wherein the delivery was being done by a shipping company other than the regular Home Depot contracted store trucks. When the shipping company called to set up delivery they told me their trucks were not equipped with forklifts like the Home Depot trucks and that they would drop the pallet on the street in front of my house. It would be my job to move the 2,400lb pallet onto the driveway. I called Peggy, who had placed the original order for me, and asked if she could contact the shipping company and possibly have the pallet dropped off at her store and offered to pay the extra fee to have the Home Depot delivery truck move the pallet from her store to my driveway. She said she would try and called back after an hour and said she had spoken both with the outside shipping company and with Homedepot.com and was told they could not change the delivery address. The only options left would be for me to pick the pallet up myself at the dock of the shipping company 35 miles away using my vehicle (not a realistic option) or simply refuse delivery and get a refund. Just as I was getting ready to cancel delivery Peggy called back and said she had spoken with her supervisor, Rebecca, and that Rebecca wanted to find a better solution. Later that afternoon Rebecca called and said she had worked out a deal with their Home Depot delivery company to stop by my house after the pallet was deposited on the street and move it onto my driveway. This solution was a lifesaver as I had already waited 3 weeks for the stepping stones to be trucked from Massachusetts. When the pallet arrived the driver bizarrely dropped the pallet not on my street but on a cross street due to his fear he might lose control of his hydraulic dolly on my slightly slanted street. Thankfully, the Home Depot truck arrived shortly afterwards and the driver, amused by the first drivers delivery solution, quickly moved the pallet onto my driveway from the cross street. I cant praise enough the timely and elegant solution arrived at by Rebecca and Peggy and want Home Depot management to know just what an enormous credit they are to the Vista Home Depot (Store #1074).
They are a lot more helpful than I remember from past experiences, but the one thing I wanted was not on the shelf.
I find the personnel at this home Depot to be great.
Helpful employees, great selection and prices.
Perla was great! Difficult times and she showed great customer service! Thank you!
2/18/21, 12:00pm. The guy that takes care of the plumbing section was really helpful. They need more employees like him
The store has a nice selection of merchandise and their prices are fairly inexpensive. Most of the employees working their are helpful and friendly. Except for 2 that found it funny to mock me and my spouse for being gay.
As always its the adult males toy store. Buying things I dont need never gets old.
Very helpful associates.
After failing a DIY glass cutting project I purchased more replacement glass panes & asked if I could get them cut, I was told no, its a liability.. so I go to Lowes in Vista & not only do they sell replacement glass, they actually perform a service & have a set up that is specifically for glass cutting, what a concept eh Home Depot?!
The HD employees here are really friendly and helpful compared to some other stores.
Favorite store ever.. nothing bad to say about the Depot..
Place was empty by like 8pm and the employees are seemingly so bored they dont leave people alone
This is my favorite Home depot. Great service well managed and very clean.
Great service, drive a bit out of the way for this Home Depot!!
As a Contractor Im here 3-5 days a week and I believe this is the best store in north county. This store used to be a hidden gem and was rather quiet but the secret is out and the store stays pretty busy now! Always a pleasure to go to my neighborhood Home Depot!P.S. I cant stand Lowes and Ive never met another Contractor who shops there!
The store was very clean. They wiped shopping carts as they were brought in. Good handling of social distancing. Nice clerks. Shout out to Scott in plumbing. Very helpful and courteous
Not to crowded
I had a super helpful and courteous guy in lumber dept assist me on a project I was doing. Made my day!
This one had more babes here, but something must have happened.
House or garden, I can get it here. Staff is pleasant and makes sure I find what I came for.
I enjoy going to the store because its easy to get in and out of traffic wise. The store is always clean and the employees are always helpful
This particular location does not contain adequate staff to handle the capabilities that Home Depot represents
Good store but shelves need to be restocked in some areas, particularly the area where they keep the fungicide. Customer service didnt know they could look up my purchase during a return by punching in my credit card. Had to tell them how to do their job.
I am happy with Home Depot Thank you so much and for tha hard work to abri one God bless abri one. 🙏🤗
Ultimate store for ur all needs . .. even smallest part is also available ... amazing .. helping staff ..
I bought a bell shaped bird seed 🐦 feeder. It was a good price under 5$. I than asked for an interview and got one also. This home depot is off S. Melrose Drive. Sweet, Aus
My home away from home. Helpful associates. Plenty of parking. Never too busy.
Great place for home improvements.
Very helpful staff and they were able to provide recommendations.
The guys changing labels where the black and yellow storage containers didnt care when I told him there was one that was cracked. He did even acknowledg me. Other then that it was good.
I just spoke with Mary Ann Waggle, store manager at the Vista/Melrose store.Well! after multiple negative experiences at her store. Her gang group/employees have twisted the truth.I am sorry I do not permit to be discriminated.I am sorry I demand respect.I am sorry I have asked for assistance.Bottom line. This store is poorly servicing good clients based on color and gender. If you complaint you become the problem. When in reality they have a huge problem that I hope it gets addressed. I plan in completing my order and never return. I will carry a camera for self protection.
My contractor asked me to check on the tile order. I decided to go to the store rather than call. When I checked in with that department I was informed that a majority of the tile I ordered had been discontinued. I received no phone call, no email, no text. Nothing! I only found out because I went to the store and spoke with the employees. Up until today I was thrilled with the service I have gotten. A wonderful designer named Dona Wilson spent a great deal of time with me going over exactly what I needed. She was awesome. Now this.
I go out of my way to this location. I love the space, friendly service. It’s not as busy or Crowded like the one off of college.
I have a love hate relationship with them, go in for 1 thing come out with 5 and 100.00 less in my pocket🤣
Do it your way😉
Friendly staff. Easy parking. Flipping pizza, Subway are right in the small mall.
Its the Home Depot...use your imagination to enhance a rather dull experience...me I look for the Hot Blonde at every aisle...and No the Hot Blonde is not a Dude!
Went in at about 7:30 pm and walked right to the spot where 1st item was located. Checked that off. Then walked up/down 4-6 aisles searching for a weeding fork with no success. While at it, an employee walked by and asked if I needed help. I sure did! He didnt just point to its location, he led me right to it. I like that kind of service. And I always get it at Home Depot on Melrose Drive. Ive also used their app to order online only items and really appreciate that convenience. Never had a problem with damaged or defective items. Couldnt be more pleased with their range of products or service. I highly recommend them!
This location is big and gas everything! Also, if you can find someone they are actually friendly and knowledgeable at this home depot. Its the only one we visit anymore.
Home Depot is home Depot exactly what you would expect home Depot to be
Always find what I need!
Easy access and friendly staff
Closes to us for improvements.
👍
7E2912: Disappointed with the help, service, and non-customer focused attitude I received from the associate at the smoke detectors area. The associate happened to be working on adjusting smoke detectors shelving. I asked the person to show the best and the cheapest. He showed me the one priced at about $12 and said that this was the one that most contractors use and is the cheapest. I asked him to explain the difference between that one and ones next to that one with little higher price. Without looking at he said he does not know and kept doing what he was doing. I just left the store, and went to a nearby Lowes and bought my smoke detectors from there.Great convinient location for me. Any time I need anything hardware related or need some home fixing, I go there. Easy check out and returns policy. I tend to by more than what I need and also various size options. That is because, I usually dont know what size or type will work me. After, I am done with project, I return the left over that I did not touch.
Tool Rental EmployeesI walked into The Home Depot to rent a jack hammer to demo my own entryway tile. I told them exactly what tool and attachment I wanted, and the two men who worked in the rental department scoffed at me, and told me, You cant handle a machine like that, Get the smaller one, Youre not doing this on your own, are you?, That machine is too heavy for you, Well, youre definitely not going to get that done in 4 hours, so youd better rent it for a full day. I walked out of there with the machine I wanted and rented it for 4 hours, while the two men grumbled and shook their heads at each other.Im not some over the top feminist, and I am not claiming to be as strong as a man or anything, but I can pull my own weight and I am pretty damn strong for a female and a pretty good judge of my own capabilities. If a man walked in there asking for the same tool I did, I am sure it would have been a smooth transaction, with no questions asked and no argument. I grew up helping my dad with significant household projects and spent lots of time in the garage learning how to use tools of all types, but I guess that would have been too hard to believe. We are in the year 2019, this is pathetic. My husband and I equally demod the entryway entirely and I returned the jack hammer more than 1.5 hours early. Upon seeing me, the employee had very little to say to me, obviously not thrilled to see me. Come to think of it, he didnt even offer me my paperwork. So I have no receipt. Not all employees in this location have ever treated me this way, others have been great. Just these men in the rental department. Perhaps more training on not belittling and degrading customers would help.
Went in for a paint match. They tried twice to match my sample but couldnt get it even close then the lady at the counter got mad at me for asking her to try 1 more time to get it right. No good
Found a nice Noble Fir here. Just cant believe the price of Xmas Trees. :( Might be time for a fake one.
Excellent service the Vista store is very nice and organized. The employees were very helpful. Thank you Home Depot
Found what I was looking for
I always find exactly what I am looking for to complete my home projects!!
Great service on a package appliances sale.
Great help! Everyone was so helpful and explained everything I needed for a home project I was working on. Project turned out great and had everything I needed. Love this location!
Dog friendly always rates 5 stars! Susie the Dog Whisperer welcomed Buck like a long lost friend.
So convenient. A well stocked store. The mobile app takes you directly to the correct shelf. And their ship to store is fast and convenient. Even returns and exchanges are efficient.
Reuglar big box hardware. You can probably find what you need as long as it isnt too outside of the ordinary. If you need specialty stuff (i.e. metric bolts) a local hardware store is probably a better option.
Always find what I am looking for... David the store greeter makes you feel welcomed.. all the cashiers do a quick job of getting you out...help in the departments is fairly easy to find.. Sam
Cant go wrong with THD when it comes to the simple things. Returned a blown up Pocket Hose for a brand new one - no charge! They have a good garden center & flowers are always fresh. Employees are friendly & usually helpful.
Quick because I knew what I needed.
They usually have what I need, but its hard to find it, and hard to find staff members willing to help you, if you can find anyone. Otherwise, I would give a higher rating.
I still have not recieved my email confirmation of my online order. The website was very hard to order all the items needed for this project. Not satisfied at all with the website. I would give a zero if I could.
By far....the best Home Depot in San Diego County. Fantastic customer service, management.
Not keeping up with COVID 19 precautions. Hand sanitizers are hidden and too difficult to press, and I have a monster hand grip
My family as well as myself are frequent shoppers at Home Depot. We run a property management company and over see roughly 12 million in renovation/ acquisitions yearly for local home owners.Today was the first time I have ever witnessed such a level of disrespect and lack of customer service demonstrated no less than by a manager. Her name Brittany, African American women, with little to no concept of the serviceIndustry .Her tone, demeaning, her attitude aggressive and rude. I will never step foot in this establishment again.
Im always asked ? How was home depo ??? The store it self is fine.. Its the shopping part thats horrible.. Especially when holiday s happen.. They put sale idems in middle of isles and very hard to move around with shopping carts and tons of people... If there was an emergency?? Or earth quake ??? Tons people would be trapped because you cant move because of isles being to cluttered up... Very uncomfortable feeling..
Bought a 6 burner (plus side burner) deluxe Nexgrill for $249 on sale. Great product at a great price. It was already assembled in store. Customer service was helpful ringing it up. Monolo (“Manny”) was requested to help me load it in the back of my SUV. Problem was, it wouldn’t fit. Manny jumped into action, getting the tools necessary to detach the lid and load the grill in the back. He was polite, professional, and personable. Made everything a snap!
Big place, bizarre product availability for the size.Want measuring tapes? How about 20 different options for the exact same product!! (Length and measurement system) Oooooh, look, some even have a big American flag on them. Yay. 🙄Want one thats actually useful, in both Metric and stupid Imperial? Go somewhere else. Yes, unbelievably this location doesnt even stock metric measuring tapes. The garden section is pretty well organized, thats the one main plus for this location. Also, exceptionally clean restrooms.
Best home Depot in San Diego County
Helpful people clean store varsity of items
Good prices and great customer service
John at the Vista CA store in flooring is not honest when asked if he was contacted by Scott from flooring at the Encinitas CA store whom helped me through a products availability quite extensively.
