The staff was friendly and the desserts were delicious and presented in style (even for take out). Good carrot cake is hard to find, but theirs was fantastic.

Decent, no complaints and was exactly as I expected. Very nice place though, have tried many lavender vanilla lattes and I like this one the best. Croissant breakfast sandwich was great! Loved the croissant, I worked in a bakery and it was definitely on par!

There coffee is fresh and hot, they make everything cheaper than Starbucks, staff is friendly one visit and your hooked .

Great location, plenty of parking, and much better than having to fight the sleepy zombie hordes at the Starbucks located inside the Albertson’s across the street. WiFi signal strength is good (not blazing- see WiFi speed test screen shots attached) and then Americano was good (but not epic). Better than a Starbucks Americano? Probably. Better than Coffee Bean Americano? No. But since there is not a Coffee Bean location located within 4 miles of my location, one cannot complain.

Just stop by when customer meeting, very nice pour-over, good place, love to come back next trip

I got the vanillacali low sugar latte and the carrot cake. The latte had a strong coffee taste, which I love! They also make their own syrup in house! The carrot cake had pineapple, nuts, and cream cheese frosting with a white chocolate leaf! So delicious!!! My spouse got the caramel cafe and the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. The cafe had a light caramel taste and wasn’t too sweet, the cheesecake was Amazing!

They serve Gelato! And the affogato cioccolato is amazing! I took a pic of mine a bit too late...it was too good to stop sooner.

Not sure if I got a bad cup but I actually threw out my coffee. I asked for an oat milk latte and instead my drink was on par with salty water?Hope its a one off, but that was my experience here.

I didnt try any of their specialty lattes but they all looked really good if you have a sweet tooth. They have lots of milk options and a ton of syrup choices. I got my usual decaf sugar free vanilla soy latte from here when Dunkin was closed and it was great.

Great coffee, avocado toast is on point, pastries look good but taste awful. At least use callebaut, its available everywhere and cheap, Id rather pay more for quality. Otherwise, this place in is the best in the area.

Meh. The tea was sort-of of flavorless, the dessert was a great vegan gluten-free option so I gave an extra star for that, otherwise I would have given only one star for the overall atmosphere and experience. I definitely felt demographically judged and served with an attitude accordingly. That was not cool. I would definitely say you will only get good service here if you are of a certain age and demographic. I felt like I was annoying them for coming, instead of any sense of gratitude for people of my demographic who are still going to be the mainstay of money and support to local business. You have to actually treat us well if you want our continued support. Politics shouldnt have a place in a cafe. People just go to support local and to get a good tea or coffee. I did not really get that, and I got a good dose of social justice warrior judginess to boot. No thanks. Also, not only will I not be recommending this place, but I will actively suggest that people do not go. Save your money and go where the product is good and the customer service matches the excellence of the product.

I had a terrible experience here. The employee wasn’t very nice or helpful. I waited over 30 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 muffins. Three people who came up after me, got served before me. I get home and 1 of the coffees was wrong. One of the muffins was completely black on the sides and bottom. It tasted burned and dry. The other muffin was so dry and tasteless. Total waste of $18. Will never return

Good coffee, but they dont stick to the hours of operation they have posted. I showed up at 7:30 am and no one is here. They open at 6:30am .Update 07.23.20 :Found out that they temporarily changed their hours, but no signs posted anywhere or updated online. They now open at 8am so they say, but I was there till 8:15am and no one showed up. So I decided to leave. I called just before 8:30 am and someone finally decided to show up. They did apologize for me having to wait more than an hour since I had been there since 7:15am. Still not ok to not open on time though. They offered me a coffee for the inconvenience and wanted a 2nd chance. I do appreciate that they made the effort to make things right.

The decaf latte qas great. You gotta go early or they might sell out of pastries. Good service and adherence to Covid-19 safety.

Worst coffee that try in my life

As a coffee snob, I can tell you this is pretty much the best option you have in East Carlsbad to Vista, for good espresso. Excellent pastries made on site. Love that place!However.... Im giving them 2 stars because,A ) Lazy Sun hours. (A coffee shop that doesnt open until 8am?! 🤔)B ) and most importantly... The morning crews seem to always take forever to get around to baking anything. If you show-up early or even as late as 7:30 or 8am, you can forget about getting croissants or any other baked item. Id make the long drive there and show up between 7 & 8 and theyd never have anything ready. It was really frustrating so after a while I just stopped spending money there.

Everything about this place was pleasing to the eye and you know what they say about food, we eat with our eyes first. I got the garden and was not disappointed. Huge amount of chocolate gelato with the yummiest toppings. Love this place!

This is a great coffee place with quality on coffee brand and products. Customer service is 5 start for sure, I love how they decorate the plate where they serve you pastries. Prices are same as getting a coffee from Starbucks but you get quality in coffee and service. In other words better than Starbucks!

Good desserts, but i dropped my drink and i was made to clean the mess. I had to ask for towels and the guy working didnt even offer to help at all. I hate feeling entitled but this was a bummer. He didnt put out a wet floor sign either, so it could have been a safety hazard.

Meet our oldest daughter there for a Saturday morning breakfast. Had a cafe mocha and the avocado toast...it was delish. Nice atmosphere and was quiet so we were able to visit. Wish the hours were 7am-10pm for an relaxing morning cup of java and an after dinner dessert.

Nice little spot close to home. The owners are very friendly and work here often. Coffee is delicious. They are also always stocked with delicious goodies(GF & Vegan options also). Love the GF pumpkin bread and Vegan/GF Chocolate Mousse Cake.Espresso is on point. Cold brew is also very good. Nice chill atmosphere to study or get work done. Breakfast/Brunch items are also to die for and made to order. (Avocado toast is a hit)

Best coffee house in the area. They also have gelato and sandwiches. They have a wonderful sitting area to enjoy your coffee, spend time with friends, or get work done. There are many high schoolers that come by before and after school. The parking lot can get very crowded with parents dropping off and picking up as well.

Still the best latte in town. Excellent food and pastries. Great staff. One of my faves.

The boba was very dry, and not edible. I DoorDashed the drink because I was craving boba, and ended up spending $15... worst decision of my life. It felt like I was drinking chewy rocks in my tea.

This place has become a regular lunch stop for my wife and I. My wife loves the avocado toast and I have yet to find a sandwich I dont like. Highly recommend the horchata or Nutella coldbrew! For a delicious treat or dessert the gelato milkshakes are amazing.

I am very disappointed in this place. I loved the idea of desserts and free WiFi, so I came here to do some reading for school. I ordered the tiramisu right away. It was worse than grocery store tiramisu, dry and flavorless. The entire place looks as if corners were cut. The wall displays were banged up or falling apart. There was trash sitting on tables. Great idea, but bad atmosphere and food.

CORTADO - crafted with excellence on a quality espresso machine, with organic coffee beans, roasted fresh by local (San Diego) roasting company. Rich selection of local (San Diego) foods...the breakfast pastries look fantastic. Will be back in the evening for gelato--great selection.

Overall a pretty good place for coffee and some other snacks. Just make sure you denounce Trump and tie up your man bun before entering.

The macaroons were amazing and the service was amazing, but they put too much ice that you can’t get to the boba with your drink, so if your ordering a boba dring, I recommend saying light on the ice. Everything else was wonderful.

Very good gelato and coffee. They are open late which is a plus. I recommend taking your lady for a late night dessert.

The chocolate mousse is outstanding and the chocolate gelato reminded me of the kind I would have in Rome. The presentation of the desserts is above par for a typical dessert and coffee lounge one would find in the tri city area. Only places I can think of that will compare is in San Diego or La Jolla.

This is a really great coffee house. I have come here a number of times with and without others, and my opinion doesnt change. The coffee tastes really good. The white mocha is oh-my-goodness. I always order white mochas at every coffee shop, and Skybound makes my favorite one. Convenient, because I live in the area.They have a happy hour from 2 - 4 pm on weekdays, and it includes frappes, drip coffee, and some desserts at reduced prices.They sell gelato! It is expensive, but it is really good also.

They have great options for food and coffee.

I wrote the review quite some time ago and Skybound has updated their menu a bit so Ill make sure to update my thoughts, but my 5 star stays the same.I had decided to try this place with my girlfriend on a whim, lots of local places opening up lately so it was to see what could be expected. I can say over the course of countless visits I am certainly hooked. Im sure of the number of visits as this local business also participates with the SpotOn app to earn rewards for patronage, also a major plus.But I digress, the chilled dessert selection seems to offer something a bit new each time. A favorite of mine is the chocolate gelato. Heavy and satisfying for my chocolate cravings or just making a rough day go smooth again.There are fantastic cakes to choose from as well. I tend to favorite the chocolate as usual and the fiancé enjoys the berry tarts and the gluten free selections. The options are always updating day to day.Beverages come hot or cold and are fantastic in their own right. I could write quite the even longer paragraph embellishing upon the finely brewed coffee drinks or energy drink infused smoothies or with fresh orange juice, but I say go explore and experience for yourself.You deserve a treat dont you?
