This place is always busy. I go here for cheap gas. Sometimes i have to wait in line for gas. But thats ok with me

Short dark haired woman that works night is insanely clueless on what she is doing, but sarcastic and is basically on her phone when customers are clearly in line. Disappointing

Been visiting this gas station for about a year after moving to Vista, but theyve permanently lost my business today. Like many other stations they have an extra per gallon charge for using debit/credit and thats fine as it covers their costs of our conveniences. The reason theyve lost my business is because even after charging $.10 extra per gallon they are now tacking on an extra $.45 for no reason other than greed. If Im getting gas in Vista I will be headed like 1.5 miles north to United Oil and paying the same price for gas without unnecessary fees.

They are usually very good but lately their has been a Very rude For no reason lazy heavy set lady, she is always there at night with a piercing on her lip, if you go there, go during the day when the normal good people are working, maybe thatS why they give her graveyard shift because her customer service is unacceptable, she shouldn’t be working in anywhere near customer service, outside debit/credit card machine doesn’t work and they close the doors at 11pm

Prices are not bad but the big sign shows only the lower cash prices. Receipt did not print (though it said it had) and the guy at the register, slow to come out of the back room, had to call someone to help get it printed. Good thing I wasnt in a hurry.

This place has been here since my family arrived in vista (early 90s) when it was a drive thru gas station and you paid as you drove off. they have gone from the cheapest deal in town to the cheapest deal in town and more! they got a gang of gas machines to cover the vista rush, and got good coffee too! cant beat that!

For a self-serve gas station Barnacles is great. They have the best prices and most of the time they are very competitive with Costco

I went to Barnacles gas station at 845 E Vista Way and the attendant was an absolute jerk. I gave him 45 dollars for pump #4. I started the pump and it shut off at $23.11. I went in and asked and he told me that was the amount I gave him. I yold him no, I gave you $45 and he needs to put it on pump 4. He refused and said you want me to count my till? I said yes. He ignored me so I went to my car, took the hose out, grabbed my phone and went back in. He continued to ignore me until a nice gentleman asked if I was in line. I said yes and the attendant told me to get out of the. I said no, not until you give me my money back. The gentleman behind me told him give me money if he owes me money. He called me a damned doggie . Considering I dont drink and have never done drugs, it was very insulting. He finally gave me my money and told me never to come back. Trust me, Barnacles is off my lust and everyone I can reach on my thousands of Facebook followers.

Ive been going to barnacles for years but I miss the old owners things are just different. I like back in the day when in the evenings it was a drive up to the window and you can get milk cigarette excetra without getting out of your car that was the good ol Days. What I dont like is that you have cash for the gas too be cheaper then using a credit card very inconvenient

The sign for charging 10 cents more is not on the pump it. Actally sits on the street. Even the employees dont know where it is. Go a few miles up the road to Homeland Petroleum also known as Vista Way Valero. Just as cheap and they post their credit card charges on their BIG sigm
