It is obvious that most of these reviews are fake. Customer service at a liquor store seems fool proof, however, these people can tell you how to fail at it. Typically it doesn’t take much effort to greet or ring up a customer. Maybe there can be a course on how to be friendly or at the very least vocal. Take your money to Spec’s.

Had a hard time finding what I was looking for and they didnt offer any help.

Everything was fine except they were doing taste tests on Texas whiskey. I only had a small bit but it was the rye and I could barely breathe after. I think you should serve water after it would really help. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Also notice how the only time good customer service is mentioned in a review that they are only mentioning the manager John. Absolutely no other employees are ever mentioned, for a good reason! However I am an actual customer . Im only giving this location one star because it is organized and aesthetically pleasing to the eye when you walk in. Customer service is hands down the worst! Ive been in the store four times now and I will never come back. For whatever reason the employees feel the need to make customers feel very unwelcome. They do not greet you and they definitely are not going to offer you any assistance to find what youre looking for. Theyre snide with bad attitudes and every one of them act like they dont want to be at work. Their prices are extremely over-the-top from top to bottom shelf products when I glanced at them. I honestly do not know how this location is still in business. The alcohol and products alone are carrying this location on its back. Management seems to not care because it has continued to be ran the same for two straight years. I kept trying to give them a new chance but no more. Go up the street to Specs where they treat you important as a paying customer and you get amazing deals on each and every product they carry.

Its a great alcohol store with a wide selection of liquor. The prices are fantastic, and the service is both professional and courteous.

I came in on accident thinking I entered the Christian book store. There was all this wine there, so I figured jesus had come through and turned all the bibles, books, and religious decorative furnishings into wine and liquor. I think I bought two bibles, a cross made of crown royal, and a whole mess of water/wine stuff. It was cool.

This is the only place I will go to purchase spirits. Their pricing and service cannot be beat. John the manager is a great guy and will make sure he has what you need in stock. John, Sarah and the rest of the staff are great people who remember you and what you buy. They know their wines and will make recommendations. The store is spotless and perfectly organized. They also have a nice assortment of cigars. From budget to Top Shelf they have it all and treat every customer with five star service. Watch for specials for even better deals on certain days. Highly recommended! You will not find better service, price or selection anywhere else in Waco.

Friendly and helpful staff. I went looking for the new Ketel One Botanicals vodkas. They didnt have it, but the manager is going to order some odd the peach flavor. Im excited because it has 40% fewer calories than traditional vodka

Came and bought a 6 pack of Shiner because i was to lazy to walk into the H&B next door.. drove to my hotel walked in and the sixer box gave way and all the beers fell and broke. Called right away only to hear were sorry you walked out with it..
