Worst experience. This business shouldn’t be open. Home Depot sent my Toro riding mower to this place and they took 3 months just to check it. During those 3 months it was lie after lie. Today I came to pick it up and had to pay almost $200. They don’t even have a mechanic and the people working there are the worst. Don’t come to this place
Unfortunately, my experience echoed many of these negative reviews. They held my pole chain saw for 6 weeks and during that time period, I never received any calls from them. I made many calls to them wherein they repeatedly told me; “Yours is next in line to get fixed.” After 5 weeks of this, I called this morning and they told me; “Your pole chain saw is fixed.” I arrived at their shop and there was confusion. My pole chain was never touched. Enough is enough. I took it home and will deal directly with the manufacture and tell them about my unpleasant experience.
Worst shop I’ve EVER encountered. Lie after lie. Mower sat out in the weather for 3 MONTHS . When I finally had enough and went to pick it up to take somewhere else, they charged me 150 to get it out. PURE RACKET. 100% thievery. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR MACHINE WITH THESE CROOKS
I needed scissors sharpened and was told to contact Ludwig’s. The young lady was very sweet and professional on the phone. I didn’t know when I could go there, but was able to walk in and got them sharpened immediately. The charge was very reasonable and the work was excellent. I have an alteration shop and so my scissors need to be very sharp. I will continue to use Ludwig’s and will recommend them for scissor sharpening.
Terrible customer service. No one could ever give me an accurate answer on the status of my repair. At one point they didn’t know if their mechanics had quit or just decided not to come in for several days. I was quoted 1 week for a warranty repair and picked up my generator after 9 weeks. I understand being busy, but I would expect better communication.
Slow to no repairs lawn mower there for two years and all I get are excuses long enough I bought another rider do not use this company
They still have/sold/use my Moms new Montgomery Wards self-propelled mower that she took to be serviced in the late 70s. They told her they could not find it. Total BS!
I dropped a Ryobi power sprayer off 9 weeks ago and was told today that they “have not been able to get to it yet.” When I dropped it off (9 weeks ago!), I was told it would take about 2 weeks to complete the repair. I stopped by there when the sprayer had been there 6 weeks and was told at that time that it was 5th in line and should be worked on that week. Here I am 3 weeks later and the work still has not been started (did I mention it has now been there 9 weeks! 😩). Was told the repair guy also makes deliveries and pickups, so he hasn’t had time to fix my sprayer. If you are in a hurry to get your repair done, I suggest finding someplace else to take it (unless you have 9+ weeks to wait for the repair!).
Parts and service are exceptional! Quick turn around on both. Highly recomend the fine folks down there for all your lawn equipment needs.
I agree that you should be able to give less than one star. These people do not know what they are doing. Our weedeater was in for warranty work for two weeks and they never called us to let us know what was going on. After one week of not hearing anything we called them, they told us when we called them that they had just hired someone and that he was working on getting things knocked out. After another week went by and still not hearing anything we picked up our unit. The lady behind the counter said that there was a note on our weedeater saying that they couldnt take out the battery. All you have to do is push a button and pull out the battery. DONT GO HERE YOU WILL BE FRUSTRATED TOO!
Most people dont understand how hard it is to find the correct parts for small engine repairs.... Its a nightmare and these guys(gals)are great as long as you know what youre lookin for!!!
Took our generator for repairs. Nice folks but they kept it for 5 weeks and kept saying we were next. Finally picked it up and took it elsewhere.
Had my garage sale tiller repaired. He did an awesome job. Reasonable price. Friendly
Very nice people! Dropped off my mower today, just waiting for them to call and tell me what is wrong with the 3 month old mower.
I would like to give it negative stars BEWARE Do not use these people for anything. We called had our lawnmower picked up by warranty at tractor supply. They took it to these people. I called numerous times trying to find out about lawnmower. I was given run a round. I told them on more than one occasion if warranty doesn’t cover it do not fix my lawnmower without calling and telling me what is wrong and how much it was going to cost . They worked on it anyways broke the key switch and then charged us for replacing it. They said lawnmower was using oil which when it left our home it wasn’t using oil. They charged us 131 for nothing. Only way to get lawnmower was to pay them . Big ripoff I don’t recommend buying lawnmower from tractor-supply or using their extended warranty. I say again run away from this place. They are completely incompetent . My lawnmower sounds worse than before having it worked on!!!!
Great services&nice people.
If your considering bringing something to this place Don’t do it. I brought my pressure washer there for warranty work, they didn’t touch it for a month after numerous phone calls to them and always getting told a different excuse to why it wasn’t ready. I went and picked it up and returned it back to TSC for a replacement. I would’ve given them no stars if I could.
If I could do negative stars I would have. This place is horrible bad customer service and they didnt fix my miter saw. I kept calling and they would come up with excuses finally after a month and half I picked up my saw they said parts were discontinued and for me to go on ebay. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP.
I have had one semi-positive experience, in that I took my carburetor off my old lawnmower and they cleaned it in their ultrasonic bath. They also sold me a new float for the carb. It took several weeks for this small job to be completed. More recently I took my newTroyBilt mower to them for warranty work as recommended by TroyBilt customer service - the mower would not start. After two weeks Ludwig got around to trying to start my mower and told me that I might need up to 130 in repairs, as the carburetor was clogged by bad fuel. I bought this mower new at Lowes and it has about 10 hours on it total I am not pleased with Lowes or TroyBilt either. Ludwig did absolutely no repairs but I had to pay $46 to get it back from them.Supposedly they tore it down to examine but you can see that it was not worked on as the paint for the shroud is still just like it came out of the box. I cant believe these people find enough customers to keep their doors open - go anywhere else but not here!
Place is really run down, but for a good price did an excellent job at sharpening my SOG trident elite knife
If you are considering going here...GO ELSEWHERE! If your warranty company sends you here...tell them you want a different shop! Took 5wks for them to look at it, then another 1.5 was to get it back...now it won’t stay started. When they originally asked me what was wrong, I was trying to tell her and she kept saying my carb needed to be cleaned...I told her we just had that done and she would not even listen to what was wrong woth it. They cleaned carb and it is running 10 times worse now than before I took it in. Can’t even keep the riding mower started. I would not recommend this place at all.
They took over four weeks just to do a carburetor cleaning on my ryobi weed eater. And got charged $110 for that. Next time a mower or weed eater breaks i will just dump them and buy a new one.
I would have rated this no stars, however thats not an option. Where do I start... I would have never used this company but the warranty package through tractor supply sent me to them, I should have known they were gonna be an issue because after the claim on the warranty was filed May 2nd they were suppose to call to set an appointment and they never did.. I tried calling several times and got no return call. I called tractor supply back and asked for another company but they sent another email to them and I finally got a call from Lugwig Saw and tools in Waco.. So May 7th they came out and picked up my Badboy lawnmower and this is when the problem starts.. 1 week passes and I hear nothing so I call them and they state they havent had a chance to look at my mower but I asked for a quote on some other work ( oil change, sharpen the blades and replace the tires) they stated no problem they would call me back in a day or so.. That never happened.. 1 week goes by two weeks, three weeks and now Im doing another follow up.. They said the blade switch needs to be replaced, I say ok.. They said theyve ordered it and it should be in a few days, I then ask about the quote again and I am again told they would call later that day.. I got no phone call.. Now a month had passed so I call to follow up again and no answer for 3 days, I get worried Im not even getting my mower back so I call tractor supply again and they try to call and get nothing, 4 days later and they say theyve had phone issues and they still havent worked on my lawnmower.. They finally give me a quote and they were $100 more then the actual Badboy dealership so I say no thanks I just would like my mower back please.. They said ok and 2 more weeks pass and I finally get a call saying they are gonna deliver my mower on Friday June 17th.. That day comes and no mower so I call and they give me another excuse and tell me it should be Monday now.. So today June 20, I finally get my mower back with 3 cuts in my seating and they are claiming no responsibility for the damages.. I read their reviews only after a month of them having my mower and I would have never used them.. While they kept my lawnmower I had to pay someone to cut my property twice and it wasnt cheap.. And now this three cuts not wear and tear but actual cuts.. So disappointing and dissatisfied.Update: Sent pics to the actually badboy dealership and the cuts in the seat they say looks like they left something really heavy in my seat or he said it look like someone really heavy plopped down on it several times .
If youre considering this place for Ryobi service, look elsewhere. They had my tools for 8 weeks just to replace a battery under warranty. They lied to me twice telling me it had shipped on a Monday, but the USPS didnt receive the package until the following Wednesday.I complained to Ryobi and they basically defended them. No more Ryobi tools or Ludwig Saw and Tool in my future.
These people will hold your equipment hostage forever and lie about your turnaround time on several inquiries that I did. Had my equipment 6 weeks and still didnt fix it correctly. They should not be in business period.
