We have been using this Midas since we moved to this area back in 2011 and basically we refuse to go anywhere else.Robert and his peers go way out of their way to make sure the vehicle is safe.

I called around to get quotes for a standard oil change and tire rotation. Michelle was very good over the phone to get me to come on today. She got me written up and stayed true to her word. Gary serviced my car and did an excellent job. He safely let me take a look at the car while it was on the rack with the wheels off. I look forward to working with Michelle and Gary in the future.

My go to auto shop for oil change and safety check. Very friendly staff, the ladies behind the counter are friendly and treat you like a long time friend when while your waiting and the mechanics that work on your car in my experience are very honest and upfront about what needs to be done to your car. They saved me atleast a $1000 dollars plus on a repair job that was for a wrong part (diagnosed at another came here for repair). Also in this day and age with the pandemic they follow the safety protocols, everyone was wearing a mask and seating was 6 ft apart. All in all my experience was great.

Midas Waipahu has exceeded my expectations! Made an appt at 745 to do break inspection and 20 min later, one of the guys called me to show me what was wrong. And of course my car is old, the parts needed to be replaced . So they run up an estimate and ask if it was okay. I said yes ! I ask how long it should take and the guy said early lunch to mid lunch. So I went my way to do errands and got a call before noon . Boy that seems way quicker than when I had my other car service at a different dealership and they took a whole day. Definitely recommend Midas waipahu to everyone!

Ive never called a place at it be so difficult to schedule an appointment. I called and asked what was available on a certain day and all she would say is they have availabilities that day. She would not give me available times so I could pick.

Compared to otha places on island--Friendly. Flexible. Will always fit you in the schedule in a pinch. Fast and good work--Thats all you need to know

Parking was tight but that should be fixed when the new car wash is finished. I went for a Safety check. My estimated wait (I called first) was 1.5 hours. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes when all was said and done. The staff was extremely nice and helpful even through they were very busy. The place was packed.

The technicians work fast and efficient. Recently went in to get my vehicle safety check and oil change. All done in less than an hour. Aunty at the front desk is so welcoming too. Mahalo Midas Waipahu!

I called in this morning to ask what there peek hours are. Smh! The guy that answered ( So rude) did not have a customer service voice at all. So not friendly. So how are you to run a business when you pretty much scare away your customer upon first greet. If you don’t like your job, find something else.

I was in a rush to get my safety inspection complete after procrastinating all month long. I stopped at a different car service spot initially in Pearl City and was turned away at 3 pm even though they closed at 7 pm. I called Midas in Waipahu and was told that there was about an hour wait and asked how soon I could get there. I drove 15 minutes, turned over my keys and documentation, and was quoted 30-40 minutes until inspection would be complete. No more that 15 minutes after that, I was checking out and ready to go. Every Midas employee I spoke with that day was so friendly and professional. I am so glad that the other place in Pearl City couldnt take me because I had a terrific experience with the Midas staff. Will most definitely return here for future car services.

Been going there many years. You dont have to be a car expert to be comfortable leaving your car. Theyre friendly and explain your situation in simple terms. They even have coffee and a soda machine. Right on Farrington Hwy - so you could exit and proceed to next destination.

Went to these guys as some other places wouldnt even call me back. Within less than 5 minutes of requesting a quote online I got a call back to arrange an appointment. The staff are amazingly fast, friendly and helpful and Id recommend this place over the ones any given day.

Theres only one way in from Farrington Hwy. If you miss the right turn you will need to go all the way back around. They were unable to help me and referred me to another place in town. I didnt go, was too far and during traffic hours. I had to find another place closer. They were cool and seemed to have a good flow of business but for my first and last visit, they get 3 stars. Recomend getting a mechanic who is certified in fixing the electrical part of the cars horn. I was ready to pay for the works but I need a one stop shop.

Had an oil change, was told by car dealer we needed a new battery about $130.00 dollars so Midas checked it for us for free mechanic said battery was fine. Ty Midas. Oh yeah they rotated our tires for free with the oil change!!

I was quoted almost $600 to do the front brake pads on my vehicle not rotors just the brake pads. I understand you got to make money on labor for your time but charging somebody almost $500 for labor is absolutely ridiculous for something that would take somebody with the proper tools to do a job maybe half hour most

Although, I live in Honolulu, I take my car to Midas in Waipahu. Their customer service gives you that great feeling of aloha. I never had to worry about getting ripped off or anything less than great quality service. Ive been bringing my vehicle to them since 2005. Thanks Midas!

Only does work on manufacturer oem parts, no aftermarket or fiberglass parts permitted to be worked on no matter how simple the work. Auto paint and body shop, shouldnt refuse business on a small island as Oahu.

Didnt take long to get the vehicle inspection. They put the plates and sticker on the vehicle with out a fuss. Made it really easy to knock out registering a vehicle in one day.

Initially, I called Midas and spoke to Gary (Im not positive on the name). He was nice, informative and personable. When I got there I met Lisa!! Every company she have a front staff worker like Lisa. I told her I called she asked what kind of car and puff!! She pulls up paper work on me!!The service was excellent, the staff - everyone I came into contact with, excellent. The bathroom was clean too!!I will be a repeat customer!! I am so happy I went on line and checked the reviews!!! It was because of this website & the reviews I went. And Im glad.

I came here for an oil change today. Got here at 10:30 and theyre not busy at all. I was the only car they were working on for the first hour I was there. They said I needed a new air filter too. Also I have to wait 10-15 minutes because they have to order it. It took them to finish until 12:15. My baby started to get fussy because its also hot at their lounging area. Im so frustrated because they didnt even offer me a discount, it took so long for an old change, they had to order an air filter which is they should have it already and they charged too much.
