We have worked on several projects with Ray, Kevin, and their Crew for many years now. They carpeted our entire 3 levels at our home, and installed beautiful full flooring in our basement and laundry room.Our recently finished project was refreshing our kitchen with full replacement of countertops, a new DEEP stainless steel double sink, upgraded, replacement faucet, and a new garbage disposal. (New appliances were purchased at Lowes).The attached photos do not accurately depict the shimmering beauty of the thick, high quality granite (the edges and corners are creatively rounded - gorgeous)!Overall, I rated their company and service a 5 because all the results were as expected and reasonably priced. (The few minor scheduling and communication challenges with the service folks were no biggie. Ray, Patrick, and Kevin quickly took care of it). Ray even followed up by stopping by the house and calling us also to ensure that all was well. Very, very pleased with the outcome!

As I was searching online for the perfect floors for my kitchen since I replaced the countertops, and to replace my 17yr old carpet in the basement and on the stairs. I eventually came across Carpet and Floors Market. They’re a locally owned business so that was a plus when it came down to samples. Ray (the owner), Kevin and Patrick (sales) were very helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with me no matter how many times I changed my mind. They wanted to make sure I was going to be satisfied and comfortable with my choice before I purchased. I’ve had 2 separate installations and both were pleasant experiences. The installation crew arrived early and on time both times. There were 2 people for the 1st installation of the carpet and 3 for the installation of the LVT floors for my kitchen and bathrooms. They’ll be back for a 3rd installation once I’m ready. I will definitely refer Carpet and Floors Market to my friends and family. I absolutely love my floors! Thank you Carpet and Floors Market!

This place is awesome! The salesman was really nice. I had a limited budget and he was able to help me find the perfect carpet in my price range.The installation team came in my home and did a really great job as well. I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend.

We are so happy with the work Carpet & Floors Market did on our home. We went in looking for help when Home Depot disappointed us, we thought letting the big box handle it all would be easy, but after the nickel and dime estimate and the lack of knowledge with the “flooring specialist” that helped us we were both super stressed out and our confidence in Home Depot’s ability was not there. I was driving by Carpet & Floors and thought “let’s see what the experts have to offer”. WOW!! I was so impressed with the choices and the quality of their product. Ray really took the time to explain the differences in their products and sent me home with GIANT samples to look at. Then the install. Again, so happy!!! The installers were professional and did a great job of moving the project along. It took less than two days and 10 days later I haven’t found a single mistake. We went back recently and chose a backsplash and again, choices product and service were all A+. Anything else we decide to do Carpet & Floors Market will be our first choice.

Shady management practices and installer wall and wood trim damage made this a negative experience. Kevin did a good job measuring and pricing our job in our home. Kevins work van and uniform had a company logo. The applicable $250 coupon on website had not been priced in or mentioned on the estimate given. We wrote the contract after much discussion with Ray who pulled Kevins estimate. We were given assurances the installers would be experienced company employees. Ray stated the $250 coupon was not applicable. When asked why he stated that the price had gone up since our in home estimate a few weeks earlier, but he would honor the original price minus $100, but not the coupon. Hi pressure tactic, take it today or higher price tomorrow. We should have walked. On installation day we were provided sub-contractors, not the experienced employee installers we were promised. Their work van and clothing had no company logo. Two installers, one experienced, the other inexperienced and did not speak English. There should have been three experienced installers for this job. The job was assured to take 3-4 hours, but took 6-7 hours. During installation we heard several loud bangs and violent shuddering of our home as they dropped large items and carpet rolls. There was damage to walls and wood trim in our home in multiple places and new floor creaks that did not exist before. Very careless work. Worse the installers tried to cover damage and leave quickly before we had a chance to inspect everything. The carpet itself is very nice, except for the chemical off gassing for several weeks which we hope stops soon. The management practices of Ray, pricing games, and installation experience was extremely disappointing and our home was damaged. We have to pay a painter to fix all the damage, if possible. The creaks cannot be repaired. We would not recommend or use this company again. Unfortunately google limits photos or we would post more. Not sure we believe the other glowing reviews here as real.

All I can say is I wish I had more floors that Ray and his team can take care of!!! Ray and his team was extremely professional and fun to work with. The team came in and they was done before I knew it. My floors look awesome.

We have used Ray for many years at Carpet & Floors Market in three different homes we have lived in and two rentals we also own. The owner is the nicest guy you could ever meet and he has an excellent staff. The installers were great and suggested changes we had not thought of. I am very particular and recommend them to all our friends. Ray took the time to guide us into a decision we are very happy with.

I live in Virginia and this store is in Maryland, so it is pretty incredible that after all is said and done, I’m still giving a 5-star review, but I am! This is a Mohawk Colorcenter Elite Retail Store, so they were the only store to have--at the time of our need--samples of the new Air-O flooring; hence, the long drive to Maryland. Without going into all the details, there was a lot of back and forth due to changing circumstances and desires, but this store kept coming through for us, time and time again. A BIG “Thank you!” goes to Ray and Patrick in sales and Alex in installation. We now have some pretty awesome flooring!

Excellent Customer Service....the floor store that listens to their clients needs and delivers superior service. They shared the pros and cons of the product types on what we thought we wanted for flooring. We were buying only floors, but building a kitchen, and they assembled product after product with cabinets, counter tops, etc, just to show what our floor would look like at the end. Not only that, they came through on a last minute glitch on my part, and all delivered on time. Always polite, courteous, respectful AND patient.

Top-notch company. I went to Carpet & Floors Market and was impressed by their knowledge and honesty. Even though the carpet I wanted for my home theater wasnt in the showroom, they managed to find it, order it and do the install for a great price. The time between the order, measurements and install was very timely. The installers were professional, on time and did an excellent job. I have more flooring that Id like installed and plan on contacting them again.

Very happy with the new carpet they put in. Ray and Kevin were very helpful in the ordering process and Alexs crew was courteous and did a very good job on the installation even though they had to move a lot of furniture in the basement. This is the second carpet installation Ray has done for us and we will definitely use them again for sure.

Overall a fantastic experience. I called Carpet & Floors Market because I was concerned about my living room floor after Christmas - the tree skirt got wet and damaged a part of my wooden floors. They reassured me that they would be able to spot-fix the area and they came in and measured the area and checked moisture levels in the wood. The matching and fit of the wood boards was excellent; most importantly, the installers were clean and professional and my floor looks like my Christmas Tree skirt disaster never happened :-) I highly recommend anyone to do business with Carpet & Floors Market. 5 Stars for sure. I appreciate the fact that Ray and his entire team continue to provide outstanding customer service (as this has become a rare thing to find these days).For starters, I plan to come back and turn the 4 stars into 5, but I am waiting until I can get some carpet remnants to the store so that Ray can have them bound for me. My experience was overall great, but there were some issues with the carpet and, unfortunately, I assumed it was something I would just have to live with. Luckily, I decided to contact Ray and express my concerns. He personally came out to Virginia to my home and addressed every concern I had. There was a factory defect with some of the carpet and, as a result, he took photos, contacted the manufacturer, and had every piece of carpet replaced. Additionally, he had his technicians replace the padding on my stairs so that it would give it the more defined look that my wife and I were looking for. All of this was done faster than I ever expected and was at no additional charge (Ray truly cared that my wife and I were not just content, but that we were happy with our new Carpet).As for the previous posts that imply Ray cannot speak English that is just insulting and inaccurate. It saddens me that someone would take the time to write false information that in no way benefits someone who is looking to find a place to buy flooring.So far any issues I have had were resolved and can only be considered issues because I didnt bring it to Rays attention sooner. I will post again and provide feedback as to how it went with having my remnants bound (again at no additional charge to me).

Ray is a true professional! The final product is awesome! Elias and his crew installed hardwood throughout my entire house. The end to end process, from the existing flooring removal, to delivery and installation of the new hardwood remained on schedule from start to finish. I wrote this because I wanted others to avoid what happened to us. We had a large job for a cabinet and carpet company. We were promised things they do not do, and never intended to do; lied about the steps they took to handle the task; the owner seems concerned – We kept documented evidence of the lies that we were told – The owner to call me back in 24 hours - we will see if the business means something to him? The blamed the Insurance Adjuster. The insurance adjuster explained that Kevin was disrespectful to him and hung up the telephone on him (and that was the good things he had to say about the process) At first we thought the insurance adjuster was being unfair – but the truth is we were not told the truth at any stage in the process - the task started on 02/04/2019 and today 05/20/2019 (no further near work beginning) We were lied to for the last time - we canceled doing business with Kevin - who swore, spoke loudly and aggressively and could not tell the truth if it hit him on the head. He assured me multiple times that the OWNER would not care how we felt. My suggestion is to use one of the other six companies within walking distance - they could be no worse. Please note there are no bad comments - so we will not be surprised when they take this one down. I hope I help just one person I will feel that this was a good thing to do.

Very friendly staff. They will let you borrow samples without a charge and without a time frame. This low level of pressure was much appreciated by me as I was working on product selections and color decisions.

Contacted them for a quote. Even scheduled a visit for a walk through. Confirmed appointment and nobody showed. I went with another company. This company must not like money.

The prices, when I compared later were out of this world higher. They left a horrible job, my wife called them back and they still left carpet fabrics everywhere. This place is the WORST! Save yourself time and money, and go somewhere else.

I went in to talk to someone about getting a quote on backsplash installation. I spoke to Kevin Keeler and he seemed very knowledgeable. We set up a time for him to come and take measurements of my kitchen and he said he would send me the quote the following monday. Monday came and no email, i waited 1 week, then 2 and decided to give them a call. I was told by Kevin that he thought he sent it and would send it shortly. I waited for the email and after 2 months I called again and complained. The man I spoke to apologized and said he would talk to Kevin. I have left Kevin several calls on his work phone and cell phone. After three months of waiting and trying for someone to get in touch with me I decided to call it quits. I do not recommend this provider and you cannot rely on them.

I stopped by Chipotle and saw ur store. Spoke with sales guy Kevin Keeler and he gave me ideas and a great price for my basement flooring.

He dosent like black pepole we went there and wait and wait no one help us and i blive the owner was talking by the phone and other sales person play with phone. so they didnt help me and my wife after30 min . then 2 others walking they help them . dont go there if u are black person bad news. every one in ft.washington and waldof told me but i wasnt blive it till i saw that. plus there price to much. we went to modern carpet and buy from them. goodluck to u . we report them to state of maryland.
