It is in the strip mall on Parkside Drive between Wheel works and Kinders.They have other services like lube and oil changes.The people are nice, they have a small waiting room so wear your mask, lots of parking.

My significant others AC was blowing hot air yesterday, so I figured it required an AC recharge. I called multiple shops and Star Smog and Lube was the only location that provided me with a reasonable price and also mentioned they would check for any leaks. I decided to call and bring it in this morning. I was lucky to be out in under an hour! During the time I was waiting the car technician made sure to show me the fluid levels and also that there was a small leak due to a worn ac gasket. He kindly replaced that at no charge and made sure I was aware of where he was with the service. He was apologetic that they were busy, but I felt the time I waited was reasonable! I would rather wait for quality work than to be given my car and for there to be issues. I will definitely be back here for other services as the staff are knowledgeable, kind and prices are reasonable.

Fast and easy service. Front desk employee (Tall/white/bald guy...cant remember name) was very friendly and personable. SMOG took 15 minutes. Will definitely be back for next oil change and SMOG

Knew the place as I used it to smog my other car. Needed to get a smog check for DMV purposes, so back we went. Fast and friendly.

I scheduled and received confirmation of my appointment at 8:30am. I was there 5 minutes before open. Unfortunately, they were not open at my appointment time. I waited around until 8:45 and a large queue was forming. I had no idea how much longer they would be, so I decided to leave. :(

They not suppose to put my crown Victoria on the rollers to smooth, but they did anyway. It failed . Its an ex cop car.

I have an older car, 1991, and I understand that its a more involved process to get a smog check, but the customer experience at Star Smog & Lube was really terrible. TWICE over a month I went down to get a smog check and both times the machine was down, fishy, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. TWICE MORE over the next month I was called by Star Smog & Lube letting me know that the machine / computer was working so I go down the next day and am turned away because the machine / computer isnt working. Ridiculous.If they arent able to or dont want to smog older cars and they just told me that the first time Id understand. But all this back and forth, and conflicting information from the techs and reception, and FOUR unsuccessful trips down there is too much. Maybe I should have learned my lesson after the second or third time.DO NOT take your 1995 or older car / truck / van here, Star Smog & Lube will NOT test you.

They quickly diagnosed the issue and quickly made the repairs -- all at a very good cost. I was able to get my smog check done -- also at a very good cost. I highly recommend coming here!

Scheduled appointment at 8:30, car was tested starting at 8:33 and test was completed by 8:49. in and out in less than 30 minutes. It would have been faster but state of California computer are slow processing smog certificate.

Ive been getting smog checks here for years and theyve got great staff. When Ive been a walk-in they turn around the check in less than half an hour and appointments are available as well.

Easy and cheap. The owner, Raj, and receptionist, Ann, are both stars and services my car for smog to prepare to register it in California. I actually went to a different shop who said they didn’t have parking so they sent me here. Glad they did.

POOR SERVICE. Place was empty. I went for a quick smog check and they said they would call me when my car was ready, but they didnt. After an hour and a half of waiting, I had to call to find out myself. The guy mumbled that it was ready. Yeah, I bet it was ready for quite a while, but since theyre unprofessional, they dont followthrough with customers. They also left my drivers side window wide open and had my car parallel parked between two other cars, with barely inches to spare. I had to do a multipoint turn, just to pull out. There were regular parking spaces that were available, too. By the way, why would they need to operate my windows for a smog check??? Ill never give these incompetent wastes of life business again.

I got my car smog checked there. They were cheap and really fast. I was done in about 10 minutes. They gave me a little toy police car as a gift for my son. Everyone was nice :)

I went into get an oil change, whoever did it a terrible job, because the next morning I turn my car on and drove 30 minutes, next thing I know The light comes on my dashboard saying that the oil levels are low, my car has been leaking oil like crazy. What a terrible experience

Dont take your car here! An irresponsible and dangerous business. They make you sign a waiver that allows them to completely ruin your car without any responsibility! Quoting from the waiver You the company will not be held responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle due to fire, theft, accident, dynamometer testing or any other cause. In other words, they can be as careless as they want and you have no recourse. Joe dropped his wrench on your car.. too bad. Frank took your car around the block and ran into a curb...too bad. We drained the oil and forgot to put some in...too bad. You can see how this will go if something happens. This is ridiculous, no one should patronize such a business. Find a business that stands behind their work, not run away from it.

Worst station ever. Made 3pm appt online. Showed up for Smog and Oil Change and was told that online appt only applies to smog. Was told would be about 1.5 - 1.75 hrs for both. Smog only about 30 mi. Was told they would send a text when smog done. Went for a walk with wife and infant, came back 50 min later and car not touched. Was told smog machine just went down. I asked why they didn’t call or text and they said it just happened. Asked why they didn’t do Oil Change and was told “didn’t know if you wanted that without the smog.”Waste of an hour and workers were lazy and apathetic. Don’t waste your time and money here.

The worst oil change experience ever happened to me just now! On a Saturday morning I walked in to this shop and faced the worst greeting from a young guy. After waiting for an hour and a half, watching a complaint from a lady who was here before me with the manager about waiting too long, 2 hours, I was called to the counter to pay $34.15. I was offered the wrong car keys but right paper work. Told them about the mistake and got the keys. After sitting behind the wheel, I noticed that the way I had parked my car had not changed and the label wasnt renewed, so I thought what if they havent done anything about my car! Went back to the guy and told him the story. Came back another guy with a sticker in hand just to change the label. Thats when I started making sure that there hasnt been any oil change on my car! I told them I need to see the new filter and the oil. The manager came back to me and said this is an honest mistake and we wont charge you for the oil change. They did the oil change and mean time the manager started refunding the money, but guess what! He charged me again for another $34.15! Sooooo then I said I will definitely post this and let people know about you guys! I would have given them negative stars!

I get my oil changed here every six months or so. I like to visit them because the oil change never takes very long. I don’t like having to wait for anything, and I really appreciate that I never have to wait for a simple oil change when I go here.
