Courtney, the supposed Pharmacy manager is EXTREMELY rude, will call you names, interrupt you and try to make you feel stupid. Really?!? She has ZERO people or communication skills and needs to learn how to de-escalate a situation rather than making it tense and frustrating. Honestly, Im shocked that someone with such a lack of customer service skills or respect for whom she is interacting with has been appointed to run a department. She needs to be reprimanded or demoded until she learns basic management skills. Shame on you CVS. Do better.

You will be followed through the isles and workers will look in areas you were shopping through if youre a poc. I was ready to purchase several items but as I walk through the cosmetic isles I notice an associate walking to every section I was in and the lady was stopping at every I had browsed through. Sad!

Do NOT use this CVS Pharmacy to pick-up your meds. The pharmacy department is incredibly slow. Be prepared for long lines. I’ve been here at 2pm and 6:15pm, both times very long lines and 20+min wait.I recommend you go to the CVS inside the nearby Target instead for medication pick up. They are fast and typically no lines.

Just moved. Asked if they would sell me insulin syringes. No they require a prescription. The rest of the state doesnt but they do. Dont go here if you need help or if it is an emergency. They require a prescription to be able to provide non-prescription materials.

This is the worst store I have ever interacted with. DO NOT ORDER RX DELIVERY HERE, they simply will take your money and then not give the delivery person the medication. If the CVS brand cares at all about customer relationships, they will shut down this store immediately.

The pharmacy is run terribly. Not enough helpful people. They all just stand around talking except for the pharmacist who needed to go to lunch before gathering my order. It took 3.25 hours to get 3 medications! Unacceptable.

When I was here when it was required to wear masks, a gal here was super helpful, and a guy here was super rude. Thanks for letting me come in and get a mask.

The pharmacy stated they couldnt give me my prescription because the doctor wrote my name wrong, so I called the doctor and confirmed they had my correct name which was also on my paperwork. The guy at the pharmacy called me Maria several times. I left and called to follow up on my conversation with the doctor and the guy who answered just hung up on me because he clearly knows it was a mistake on his end. So unprofessional, waste of time!

I come to this Cvs at least every day that my husband is working in Walnut Creek. Andrew is the MOST AMAZING worker Ive EVER met so outgoing so attentive and a Outstanding worker!!! Best Custmer service he is always here when I come working long shifts. I would love to see a person like Andrew get a promotion for his dedication on the job. Also his dedication trying to please the customers never seen such great customer service in all my years of shopping keep up the great work!!

Worst customer service, rude managers and unfriendly staff. Spent 200$ asked for a box to carry the liquor and could not bother to even try and get me one when I saw plenty of boxes on the floor.

The cost of a 2032 Duracell battery at CVS on California Blvd, Walnut Creek, was $5.99. A block away, At Big 5 Sporting Goods, was $1.99. A difference of $4 on a common battery. Beware of prices at CVS. Always compare pricing before purchasing from CVS.

I have to give good ratings. I work here. Depending on what time of day you go varies on customer service. Its a super busy store with a lot of people having a lot to do in a short period of time to keep product on the shelves for customer.

The law probably dictates when the pharmacist is on break. Trust me he will get written up if he or she does not take overnight break. thats a hard place to work. Its not the fault of the employees. You dont see this from out front as a customer but the pharmacy always has 10 hours. YES 10 HOURS of prescriptions ahead of you. Try to be kind. Direct your concerns at upper management, not individual people working in this store.

My wife had an emergency prescription called into the pharmacy tonight at about 9:30 P.M. by her dentist. I live in Pleasanton so it took me a while to get to Walnut Creek. As I was getting close to the pharmacy, it was getting near their closing time (10:00 PM) so I call ahead to advise them that I was literally minutes away. The lady that answered the phone advised me that they were closing in about a minute. I pleaded with her and again advised her that I was literally a couple of minutes down the street and that my wife was in really severe pain. The lady on the phone again repeated that if I couldnt get there within the next minute that I would have to pick up the prescription the next morning. Again, I pleaded with her to please understand that my wife need the medicine tonight so that she could follow up with a doctors visit the next morning. The appeal was in vain and, sure enough, when I arrived at the pharmacy, the shutters were closed and no one answered when I tapped on the shutter door. After this experience, I will never forgive the lack of compassion and understanding. Never in a million years would I expect to experience a medical professional to be so cold and uncaring!

Submitted prescriptions were filled. It took the staff 20 minutes to figure out why (the previous pharmacist claimed to be out of stock, which was not true.) I was then told it would take 20 minutes to fill the order. I waited for an additional 1.5 hours.

I’m the caregiver for a family member who just had a total knee replacement. The prescription for her post-op pain medication was submitted online to this pharmacy, but they had a power outage which took their computer systems down for an hour. When I called them to see if the prescription had been filled, the man I spoke with casually informed me that I should call back in an hour, and he “would have a look at it then.” I told him the patient would be beyond her dosing schedule by that time. He said he couldn’t help with that .This interaction made two things clear to me: 1) This critically important provider of medications has never bother to install back up power of any kind, and 2) They really don’t care if patients suffer.I have to get through this situation now, but I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere in the future. I’m contemplating filing a formal complaint with whichever body regulates pharmacies.

The staff is friendly enough. The last gentlemen I talked to was very helpful but overall had a bad experience.They didnt have my prescription and needed to have it ordered and would arrive the early afternoon the next day. Lady I was talking to took down my number and offered to have a text sent letting my know when its ready. Sounds good... never got any call or text.I work nights and went in before having to go to work. So about 8:30 PM I find out they do have the prescription but there was a problem with my insurance. Apparently CVS is the one pharmacy they dont deal with but no one decided to give me a courtesy call. So now theres another day come and gone. The guy helping me last called and found some names of other pharmacys that are covered by my insurance.

CVS in general seems out of date and old- fashioned. From the layout to the products and the tedious checkout, I feel like I stepped back into the 1990s. They do carry a lot of products in the pharmacy but it’s hit or miss and prices are usually higher than Target. It’s ok in a pinch.

After spending 3 hours in emergency, my boyfriend needed a prescription filled. As we walked in the pharmacist was buying something and promptly said oh Im going on break... We said really? How long his response was oh like 20 mins. It is 1 am how busy are you that you need to take a break that moment instead of filling one prescription... Horrible care for the customers. Good thing it wasnt something worse and needed medication soon. I will never come back here to have a prescription filled again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I saw an older Manager insult someone, the manager gave a creep like grin and told the guy You dont know what you are doing, and, it looked like a mess but it was immaculate, compared to what it usually looks like lol. let alone the rest of the store, I think the guy was doing a reset, either way it looked tough.

Had a horrible experience with pharmacist Ernie L Domondon. He was rude, insulting and unprofessional and he should be relieved from any contact with customers. When I asked him to verify a prescription he said no and after explaining I had issues before regarding verification he told me that I should look for another pharmacy. Really???? ....Maybe CVS should look for another pharmacist ERNIE. Does CVS really want him representing their brand name with that kind of attitude? Very disappointed in the way CVS lets the pharmacy employees taint their reputation. CVS does not seem to care how inept and abrasive their pharmacy staff is, and its worse in Alamo. This never happened at Longs.

The pharmacy staff are very rude and not helpful at all. The outside of this store is filthy dirty with trash. It should be power washed once in awhile. Its my least favorite CVS in the area for sure! Lets clean it up and get some friendly staff in your store.
