We have been going to this place for quite sometime. I used to live in Los Angeles, CA and we would come here to taste and experience the kitchen sink ice cream challenge. Its an eight scoop of different flavors of house made ice cream and topped with different decadence. Aside from good ice cream, they also have some burgers, pasta and other dishes.. Now we live in Las Vegas and a 7 year old daughter and we still come here for the experience. I highly recommend the place.

Incredible spot. Not just frozen yogurt, however that is the thing that they are known for. We went there, in light of the fact that we saw it in the show Man versus Food. It didnt disillusion. We showed up after the expected time, so we were unable to have supper, however frozen yogurt was okay. Decent climate. Legacy feeling and design. Simple to discover. $$

I dont live in California, but when I visit Walnut creek, this ice cream place is top on my list of places to go to. Try their toasted almond chocolate or Thai iced tea flavor, you would be blown away by this delectable creamy dollops of magic.

Nice spot. Seemed a little understaffed. The staff was kind, and did their best to move orders along. Our table got a couple ice cream sundaes and dishes. The ice cream was great. The serving dishes were a bit small; making access to the various scoops of flavors tough. This meant you had to eat through one flavor to get to the others; or spill half the ice cream to enjoy the flavors together. Was hoping to eat them in combination. Warm and friendly staff!!

The crab sandwich was good but a bit pricy for the portion size. The ube ice cream was a bit too powder texture for me.

Great place. Not only ice cream, though that is what they are known for. We went there, because we saw it in the the show Man vs Food. It did not disappoint. We arrived late, so we couldnt eat dinner, but ice cream was just fine. Nice atmosphere. Throwback feeling and decoration. Easy to find. $$

My favorite cream shop.i drive from Danville to here just for their homemade rich,tasty ice cream.like no others.I tried burger but it’s not as good as their ice cream.I gave 4 because every time while my family and I working on our ice cream they bring me a ticket without asking for.maybe we want to order another or something else.

It was alright. Had the chicken wings and three little piggies sandwich. The wings were really underwhelming and the sandwich was alright. Also had a shake here that was fantastic.

Ice cream was absolutely delicious! Serving sizes are very generous! They dont skimp on the toppings either. Well worth the price.Just an FYI, service was slow, although they were busy so not a huge deal, understandable. Definitely worth the wait!

Ice creams are good. I like their white caramel chocolate chip. That is the best ice cream. Other than that I have tried Cherry Vanilla, coffee flavour, and moose one. They were good too. Ice cream is expensive.

Cool spot with good food....but the real attraction is the ice cream! If you are daring try the Kitchen Sink we did and conquered the beast.

This creamery is the best in the East Bay, sure there are other gourmet ice cream shops, gelato, etc., but there is nothing like a good old fashion creamery. In my opinion, San Francisco Creamery is better than Fentons. The quality is the same but value for what you get is far better at San Francisco Creamery. Covid situation makes it difficult to fully enjoy, but nevertheless if you are in the area and have a sweet tooth, youll be satisfied.

This is my favorite ice cream place - my favorite flavors are the mint chip, coffee and rainbow sherbet. Their waffle cones are so good and I like watching the employees make them.

Of Kitchen Sink fame, the ice cream at SF Creamery was sadly lacklustre. We shared a black and white sundae and the flavors were lacking, from the ice cream to the sauces and the hot fudge—which got clumpy and separated while eating. I enjoyed the ambiance which was great for groups and children, but perhaps I tried the wrong flavors the day I came in.

Build your own sundae! Recommend chocolate peanut butter and vanilla with hot fudge...yum!

This is my “go to” place for ice cream - great variety of sundaes, quality ice cream and cones made right in site so they are super fresh. They will also hand pack a ice cream which is cheaper than getting two single scoops!

Great place for ice cream.

The sundaes are as good as advertised. You can try any of their three scoops combinations and be assured of not going wrong there. The only bit I would advice is to check on the toppings. Weve enjoyed the sundaes minus excessive topping that can at times take away from the pure joy of their ice creams.

The quality of the product received was not what I was expecting from previous patronage. There were ice chunks in my ice cream, no cherry on top, the chocolate sauce tasted somewhat bitter. The store is closed too early as well. 9pm on Saturday? You missed 2 previous attempts by us to get ice cream

Big let down! My waffle cone was old. The mint chip ice cream is better at Rite-Aid$6.50 for one scoop of small proportions. I would give no stars if possible.

Last time I was here it was rather odd, the gal that was my server didnt bring the bill at the end, another server did. Otherwise, I must admit this place has a confusing name NOT LOCATED IN SF BUT IN WALNUT CREEK. An episode of my favorite food show was filmed here...Man Versus Food. Adam...Adam...Adam..They have great grub here and excellent ice cream.

We went here after seeing it on Man V Food for my birthday. The food we were pleasantly surprised by! I had the French dip sandwich and the meat was delicious and juicy. Theres a huge selection of ice creams and you can create your own combinations with different flavours toppings and syrups. If I was closer Id be there all the time!

This is our special event go to place when we have a lot of people. We had a party of nine and we ordered one dish: the kitchen sink! It is a site to behold, and everybody notices when it gets delivered to your table. The decor is Americana and the staff is always polite and happy to help. Its a great time if youre not in a rush.

So delicious! We were craving pasta and the seafood pasta dish was just the thing. Plus they have amazing sweet creations like sundaes and milkshakes made with ice creams that they make themselves in house. We had the black and gold hot fudge sundae. It was superb! Great place to grab a quick bite with family and friends and to stay and enjoy/share a big dessert.

Amazing amazing sundae. We have ordered the chocolate lovers dream with chocolate chip as toppings. The sundaes are full of chocolate chips and taste absolutely amazing. There is whip cream on top and the proverbial cherry on top. :)

They have great service, food and decor. Its been around a long time, they have done a great job of capturing the old soda fountain found in Pharmacys and Dime Stores of old. How do I know its authentic, Im so old I have the original recipe for dirt.

Everything about this place is just excellent! Ive, um, studied ice cream coast to coast, and they do a great job! The ice cream is outstanding. The sundaes are outstanding. The place is nice. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Worth going out of your way for!

Love this place! The ice cream is killer. The only reason for a 4 star is because of the bathrooms. If youre coming here to eat, use the bathroom elsewhere first, or plan on going somewhere else after. They are covered in graffiti and look like they havent been cleaned in a few days.

Meal dishes are good upper mid level restaurant, but not really memorable. The ice cream is tremendous, as good or better than Fentons. Consider as desert choice

Excellent ice cream! They have so many flavors, mix-ins, and options. The kids ice cream sundae was a hit, and their milkshakes were spoon worthy! Careful of you get a wafflecone... it seems homemade and is extra thick and crunchy. There is plenty of seating indoors or open seating on the patio area. Pay parking is easily accessible. Great experience, even with little ones in tow.

Almost always a line but it moves steadily. A large variety of flavors which is great and the shops are very generous. After dinner its hard to have more than a junior scoop sized amount of ice cream. They also have a list of special flavors to keep an eye out on. Bathrooms in the back of the restaurant seating area if you need them.

My must goto spot when riding the iron horse trail. Easy little diversion with an outside window to get a junior single dip homemade ice cream. Portion sizes are very generous so I always get the junior but my friends get the single dip which I think are huge.

This place is amazing! Always with a fresh menu... dont just lock in on their ice cream because their food menu is on point. From specials like their amazing chicken pot pie or a regular staple like the crab sandwich or the three little piggies, flavor is never in short order.Their myriad of flavors on the ice cream side is dazzling, but what they have in quantity, they match with quality. I have yet to see a flavor I dont like and needless to say, the kids love it.Great ambiance and a great place for a party... the Creamery has everything you could ever want! Why arent you there yet?!?!

Fun atmosphere. Food tastes great and ice cream dishes are fantastic. We had a party of seven women and we were on a time limit (haha). We ordered our dessert and lunch at the same time and asked that dishes come to the table as they are ready. The best way!! Have dessert first! Fun and Smiles

Let me just start with statement: Ive been here in the past and it was a much different experience from my most recent visit. The service was decent but not great, the food was also Sub-Par AT BEST. I can deal with that, however my issue with my most recent visit was the total lack of empathy from the manager/owner Nanette-After we had lunch I had ordered some desert for my grandson and family. We all received our ice cream in a timely manner but I took one bite in and immediately regretted my decision, There was glass INSIDE my ice cream!!! I didnt even make a huge deal about this, After I took the first bite I felt something hard and crunchy inside my mouth and actually spit it out before I swallowed it. I notified our server/manager/owner, She had no sense of urgency or any basic sympathy after I showed her the chunks of GLASS inside my ice cream. But wait theres more... after receiving the check there wasnt any compensation for this horrible event, I can deal with the lack of customer service as far as comping a portion of the meal. However, I am in absolute disgust and outraged that the woman helping us didnt even APOLOGIZE about the glass in my dessert!!! How do you not have any human decency? How would you like to have glass in your ice cream and act as if its no big deal and be so nonchalant about the whole situation!? I will NEVER come back here and I advise you to do the same, head my warning!!! Mediocre food, horrible customer service, and the worst; total lack of urgency knowing there was a health hazard in my food! Dont give this company your hard earned money...

Amazing. Every time I go to SF, I have to make the trek to Walnut CREEK to this amazing apot. Sure I heard about this place through Adam Richmond and Man vs Food, but I have come to know it as my special place when in the area. I would definitely drive here from LA just for their ice cream. They have many flavors and they are all amazing. Service is top notch and I have zero complaints. I love love love this place. Dont change a thing, guys, its already the best Ive been to.
