Start every Sunday there. Always clean, stocked and the people are helpful. Guy at the fish counter & woman at the self checkout most Sunday morning have gone over and above more than once to help me.

Nothing bad to say about it. Just one thing. They seem to be out of a lot of things. Like a lot.

The bag boy was more interested in flirting with the cashier than bagging my order...... or throwing the items in plastic bags. Now, I remember why I dont normally shop there.

Clean well stocked store. Great selections that fit in this BIG store.

A beautiful store and so large! Im glad I have no trouble walking. Only two downs: I couldnt find an item I was looking for and didnt see anyone I could really ask. Also had trouble hearing the checkout cashier. Yes, we have to wear masks but I wish she could have spoken more slowly and maybe a little louder. I understand its an ongoing dilemma with people who are hard of hearing.

The shopper rewards program might as well be a new kind of math and SO user unfriendly. Whoever thought this up, should be fired or make them need to use this ridiculous format to get their weekly paycheck. FAIL.

Great prices and using your rewards points to get your gas is an awesome way to save on gas ⛽ 😀 especially now a days were gas is so expensive.

I’ve been going to this stop and shop for 11 years, since I’ve lived in Walpole since 2010. Their produce has always been very poor compared to other places, but I’ve kept going simply for the convenience of location.A week ago I bought their SnS brand Brussel sprouts and was horrified to find little worms in nearly half of them. Threw them away.Went back a few days later to try buying them again. Figured it was just a bad batch and didn’t worry about it, since I don’t typically complain. But nope, same problem. Last straw for me, I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to Big Y. Absolutely revolting, and I feel sorry for the people who ate these Brussels.(Expiration date on them, in both cases, was 5/21. So I’m sure they’re still in the store as I write this)

The Walpole stop and shop is probably my favorite ones around. Its always very clean and organized and bright. Plus, Im a big fan of their updated can/bottle return machines!

Well stocked clean

Deli is always understaffed which means ridiculous wait times. Store is super unorganized during renovations. Advertised sale prices arent always removed before expiration, leading the customer to believe they are paying less for a particular item until they get to checkout. And that robot---oh my God that robot! Get rid of that ANNOYING thing!!

Stop and Shop - In Particular Stop and Shop Walpole has lost its way and identity as an icon community based product - It is increasingly hard to get a cashier in the store - today as totally perplexing to me - there were 2 cashiers at Noon on a Ssturday - lines for both were down into the aisles while simultaneously lines for all self serve check out stations were significantly backed up - I have been going to Stop and Shop since I was a child with my mom - this has always been a community based customer friendly company but now clearly a corporate strategy of cutting costs by cutting employees has proven that profit far outweighs the value of the consumer - how incredibly disappointing this is and especially now during the ongoing medical crisis how are lines backing up beneficial for anyone - employee or customer - So incredibly disappointing!!

The deli counter is the worst. Perpetually understaffed always expect a 10+ minute wait. The manager should really set up benches for everybody waiting in front of it to sit

They need to shovel the walkway to store from cross walk, so you dont have to walk in road where cars are exiting... very dangerous!!!!

Their self checkout people are RUDE. Lady was super disrespectful to me today. I was minding my business in the self checkout scanning my items and she took some of my food away from me and went to the manager for no apparent reason. Said nothing to me. Didnt even speak English. Absolutely ridiculous. I will definitely be going to Shaws from now on so much more respect there and people who know what theyre doing.

Deli counter sell Boars head meat and cheese. Love it. Overall, stop and shop is great. Very reasonable price and you can count on the freshness of the grocery. The self check out machine made it easy and fast for people just buy a few items and need to be in and out fast.For the design, interior design, way finding design and branding design can be upgraded.

I bought chicken and i get home starting going true the bags and noticed a very bad smell and was the chicken it was disgusting.. when back to the store to change and the customer service lady was very rude saying they dont have a way to know if the product is bad or good ( pertty much saying they only sell like! dont care what its) they need to take responsibility for what they are putting on the shelfs ...

Everytime I use the self checkout there is a young worker head always down on his phone every single time I go through . Wow stop and shop must be looking the other way to allow this . One night we had asked for baby formula and he couldnt be bothered just motioned his hand as to say go all the way down to a manned checkout after that nose right back to the phone . Must be nice to slack off and play with your phone and get a check to do so.

Deli is always understaffed. The average wait time has to be around 8 minutes. They also got rid of the touch screen ordering kiosk so you have to stand there the entire time. It’s been like this for months. I’ve given up on this store. I don’t have that kind of time for deli meats.

Why do you not fix the freezers where the ice cream is. Half the freezers are permanently set to the “ice age” setting! They have been broken for 10+ years. I can’t believe no one has decided to fix them yet. It ruins some of the product.

Im updating my review because of the pandemic we find ourselves in. I am deply disapointed with the company because the powers that be have done a terrible job stocking this store during the emergency. There are gaping holes in the paper aisle and meat department as well as cleaning and sanitation products. This company is owned by a powerful international Corp with tremendous purchasing power so, to have no or very little toilet paper on the shelf for weeks now is totally unacceptable. Same with the fresh meat dept, shelves are mostly empty. There are shortages across most of the product aisles. Market basket stores are well stocked week in and week out but quite the trip to get to. My previous comment stands regarding the front line staff and workers but the lack of products is inexcusable! Best supermarket Ive ever been too. Just tops.

Love the deli. Boars Head. Great cakes.Check out easy.But, they need 2 people at service desk. I am not impatient, but I had to wait 10 mins to buy tickets because someone returning things was going on and on. This happens alot.

People at the deli must hate there job. They are rude, dont smile, and act like you are bothering THEM with your order. The fish department always smells and nobody there to help you anyways.

I could not find a single item that i was looking. Their idea of stocking the shelves is to offer one item of one brand in 4 linear feet on 2 shelves. This chain needs more brand diversity.

Standard grocery store experience. There are two levels of store brand product . The better one is Natures Promise which uses healthier ingredients.

They changes all the isles and now you cant find what youre looking for! So frustrating! 2020 sucks!

Slow produce turnover means produce is frequently softer than it should be or close to expiring. Never more than a few registers open makes for slow check out. Prices higher here than at Wegmans on many basic items. Not a large selection of Organic, Gluten free, and plant-based options but I have seen improvements over time. The Norwood stop and shop on route one is managed better, but this is an okay store for grabbing a quick one or two forgotten items.

This Stop and Shop is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I cannot remember when I had a food shopping experience that even compares to my recent trip to this particular supermarket.

I know customer service is not the dream job for most people but oh my the cashiers here are ridiculous. Sully face with a hell with you plastered permanently does not actually encourage anyone to shop here. I mean life is bad as it is,but to drive home from work and go shopping to experience your attitude? We make it a point to go to shaws even though this is closer.

A bit pricey

I am audited 1out of every 2 visits! The month of Nov.2018, I shopped 6xs only! Guess how many times I was audited? 6 FREAKIN TIMES! WHY? IM NOT OR NEVER HAVE BEEN A THEIF! Use to be 7 items when they 1st used scanners! Now its 12-15 items? ALLLLL ITEMS R SCANNED, BAGGED & PD FOR STOP & SHOP! ENOUGH PLEASE! WOW!

Try Stop & Shop at route one, here all produce is past due or very close to be, milk? Forget it youll never find one thats a least 3 day from be bad...I personally have spoke with management twice about past due product on the store but nothing gets fix. Now I drive extra 1.5mile to the norwood location...
