The CubeSmart in Walpole, Ma. 02081, has had me go back to them as a customer these last 5 years. I have stored my SUV with them for many reasons.My first attraction is just how nice the employees are. And one that comes to mind is Matt, and a close second with any employee that I ever dealt with.The usual rented space that I need is the 10 X 20 for my 6 months of winter storage. The inside of any area that I have ever rented out has always been so clean. The entire grounds and office is really what I notice and have seen since I first became a customer.It is the only place that I use in my area. I bypass the other towns nearer to where I live, because I will only use this CubeSmart in Walpole. Even though, there are other places that have rental storage closer to me, but none as good as CubeSmart.The cleanliness alone keeps making me go back. And certainly also with Matt, and his great service to his customers. A company is only as good as its people.And CubeSmart in Walpole, Ma. has the greatest employees. And always go that extra mile for you. They truly are an asset to the CubeSmart.My personal use is using it as a garage. I rent it out from Nov.1st 2020 to April 1, 2021 . If a major snow storm is coming here to New England, I head over to the CubeSmart and have my car protected and no shoveling for the winter months. Once a storm is over, I go back and get my SUV and repeat the process as needed.I am very grateful to be able to use your service. As a senior citizen, it takes the worry out of the winter months of shoveling snow and trying to remove sleet and freezing rain. CubeSmart, solves my problems with much appreciation.Dee

To be very honest, the price was great, but the customer service on site was AMAZING!!! Matt was beyond helpful! When I first called about the process to rent & move in & multiple follow up calls (complicated situation coming from out of state) he was always patient, informative & reassuring. When I came in person and all subsequent visits he knew who I was before I had a chance to say. Normally I wouldnt leave such a detailed review - but he really is an amazing employee & person! Really good storage facility! Honest pricing and good storage lockers. I had no troubles moving my stuff. Matt was really helpful and friendly with answering my questions. I reserved my storage locker online first (there was a deal) and thats exactly what I got. If youre thinking about renting a locker here I definitely recommend it!

The prices arent the best in the area but the accessibility of this particular one is awesome 95% of the units are accessibile from the outside . Which is great because id rather drive up to my unit vs going inside then up a bunch of stairs

I cant say enough good things about the service my husband and I received from Matt and Mike at Cube Smart Walpole.They showed us several options inside and out. We choose an inside climate controlled space. We noticed the space was a little dusty inside but. when we went back the next day to put our lock on the unit the space was totally cleaned top to bottom. I also used the bathroom in the office and it was one of the cleanest facilities that I have ever used. Matt and Mike were highly personable and knew their stuff. I would highly recommend them.

Superb customer service as my girlfriend and I moved in the other day by Matt, he went over all the details point by point to make sure there was no hidden charges or surprises, I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing space, go rent with Matt and see how outstanding he is at what he does, I also used to rent with the previous owners and ended up leaving them to go to a different facility as the old place was unsecure and trashy, I was looking online to leave the current place I have as I kept getting rate changes every other month and saw this place again Cubesmart now and was looking for a place with good reviews and I saw someone else comment about how much this place has changed, so I decided to go back and take a look, I can say it is a major change and there is a gate now too! Reserved unit on website which listed price at $96.90 for the unit I was interested in. When I visited the office, I was charged a different price, $114.75. Even though I reserved online, the location didnt honor the price listed in their online promotion. $24.00 admin fee was added (which seems like an industry add-on standard) but then told I had to take insurance against theft, fire & damage (minimum $12.00 / mo.) I asked if fires, burglaries and leaking was common in the units and I was assured that none of those things had ever happened, but I still had to take out the insurance.The clerk who helped me was pleasant enough but seemed new. Several times he had to ask for clarification on procedure and had to call his coworker away from the back of the office where he was watching something on the general managers cell phone. It was very unprofessional and gave me the impression that the new kid was doing all the work while the other two were just sitting around.The security gate doesnt go down and is left in the up position at all times making the location accessible to anyone who wants to drive in and check the place out. This makes me very uncomfortable so my mandatory insurance may come in handy.Summary: unsecure facility, poor management, bait-and-switch pricing.
