This CVS pharmacy is AWFUL!! It has taken them over 2 weeks to fill my prescription. When I ask the pharmacists working they always say to “come back tomorrow”. This is TERRIBLE! Obviously, a prescription is medically necessary. Get your act together!! To make matters worse, the drive through isn’t even open. What is wrong with these people? They truly don’t care about the community or their customers well-being.

I called the CVS pharmacy up the road (Linden St.) to transfer a prescription and a wonderful pharmacist told me that my medication wasnt in stock, but that this CVS (Harvard St.) had it and would be able to refill it for me today. When I called, I was asked for information they shouldve already had and told it would take at least two days to refill. The pharmacist on the phone was short and impolite. I called the other CVS back and they took care of the transfer right away and told me hed have my medication the next day. Recommend you go to the other CVS nearby and avoid this one.

I went to get my covid19 booster at this CVS. gosh what a mess.hand written direction signs were very confusing. then after navigating thruthe confusing directions signs i did get into the vaccine booth.the lovely young woman who was administering the vaccine was doing her very best but was clearly overworked.. there were 2 booths but only one adminstrator. this was at about 4 pm.on Sept 30. this cvs pharmacy is managed very poorly. the employees look very stressed. is this the impression CVS wants to portray.CVS is big pharma business and i wont even go into the ridiculous prices for eveything across the board.

Starting in late summer 2021, the evening pickup/checkout lines for the pharmacy had increased significantly. Moreover, there is a relatively newly hired technician who seemingly can never find any prescriptions: he wastes 10+ minutes on every prescription and also lacks all sense of curtsey to the extent that he accuses customers of being at the wrong location even when hes presented with cvs email/text notifications showing the details of the filled prescription including the address of the pharmacy.Last time I had to speak to the pharmacist who was able to find my prescription immediately.CVS Waltham: hire competent people please. Most people who use your pharmacy services have illnesses and we cannot tolerate incompetent technicians.I am going to switch all my future prescriptions to Walgreens due to the rudeness and incompetence of this individual.

This is the worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever experienced! The rest of the CVS is great and is conveniently open 24/7 but stay away from their pharmacy. They will treat you poorly on the phone, mess up orders, and act they dont want your business.

Website and store sign said store was open, but the person who was working locked the store up so that he didnt have to work/could restock shelves without people entering and exiting the store. It wasnt a holiday and there was no reason the stores hours wouldve changed, nor was there any sign on the door that the store would be following special hours that night.

I I would give no stars but that’s not an option. I get 2 prescriptions every month. But they only fill one of the prescriptions no matter how much I stress it on the phone. Then I drive out of my way to pick them up and they tell me that they have to process.Support local pharmacies so we don’t have just garbage cvs’ all over.Literally never had a good experience.

One of the pharmacist (Maria). Had such a bad attitude. When all we did was ask a simply question as to why they we’re charging us for our prescription( when we have Insurance). She could also clearly hear me and my mother speaking Spanish and still spoke in English. And was mad when I (according to her) didn’t translate very good. ( she also made terrible remarks in Spanish and in English) (I was translating for my mom.)

This is the worse pharmacy I ever had my prescriptions on. The workers on the back of the pharmacy its so RUDE THEY DONT HAVE NO COMPATION, I just had a surgery and I was trying to get my medicine and the lady on the phone just hang up on my face !!! And that’s not the first time. This is my last prescription in this place. Horrible

Definitely 0 star if theres the option. Have met 3 of pharmacist who were so impatient and indifferent! A man went away in front of an old lady whos in need of help. A lady was just repeating I cant find your info to me instead of trying to be helpful. Dont go there, theyll ruin your day.

I am really disappointed in this CVS. I just had surgery and my mom was getting my medicine. This place was to lazy to give her the medicine and told her to leave immediately (saying she was being disrespectful for asking for the medicine). My mom said no saying she needed the medicine for me so I could go home (and so I would not have to stay overnight). They called the cops on my mom after that! The next day my mom called to complain and basically said she deserved it. This is just disrespectful in so many levels. I want an apology and so does my mom!

I’d give them 0 stars if I could!I’m planning to speak to the new store manager on behalf of the terrible customer service I received.5-10 minutes the pharmacy tech told me to wait for a prescription that isn’t covered by my insurance. He said it would be $3.75.I come inside 30 minutes later and of course he’s on break. The woman helping me now is in a terrible mood and telling me she can’t find the prescription.After telling her to double check her work she comes back to tell me it’s available over the counter on the shelf. Then she points in the direction of the isle as if I know right where it is.Turns out there were over 15 kinds of the medicine she pointed me too. She gave me such an attitude to help me look for it.When I went to self checkout I then find out that it’s double the price they had told me.When I spoke to Jeanie afterwards she didn’t care to hear what had happened in the last hour over a bottle of cough syrup. She went back and forth about being too lazy to fill the prescription for half the quantity they wanted me to purchase.Skip this place at all costs! Stay clear of the pharmacy they are a bunch of unfriendly and unhelpful individuals.

I was at cvs today for moneygram services and I came with a foreign valid passport which was rejected by Dylan-shop manager claiming that only USA valid IDs are allowed for such transactions. I have been doing that from the same branch for 6months now and I have never been disappointed like today.He was so rude to me.Cvs should teach their people on proper way of handling customers.

I went to get a flu shot at this store because the sign outside said there is $5 coupon when you get one. After the shot, I asked for my coupon and at first they could not find it. Then the pharmacist said to try back another day (like I have nothing better to do). I said what can you do for me. Then they found the coupons, but they had expired two days prior. I told them they should fix the sign outside the store, and left unhappy with the service. No apology from them, nothing.

Had to edit review. Been a year. Store had turned around and the store manager and great new hires since then is to credit. Changed from 1 star 1 year ago to 4 now. I cant say i am there enough to shout a loud 5 star, but its friendly, helpful and Im really happy its a lot better personally, a really improved location. Give it a go!

The idea of a 24-hour store close by is great - but in practice this store is terrible. To clarify, it’s just the pharmacy that is the issue. I have had incorrect medicine counts several times. The pharmacy techs are extremely unprofessional and argue with each other and the pharmacists loudly for all to hear - on multiple occasions...almost every time I’ve ever gone. But now it has gone too far. I had an antibiotic called in one early evening. The noted pick up time - both in the app and on the eventual paperwork - was one hour later. I tried calling three times over the course of six hours and was left on hold by the automated system - no one ever answered the call - for almost 3 hours total. My husband went to the store to check on it, waited in line for almost 20 minutes, only to find out that they were “very backed up” and hadn’t checked any of the e-prescriptions they had been sent. This was three hours after the script was sent. After they had finally checked the scripts that had come in, they noted it would be at least an hour. We waited at home for two more hours, checking the app for status updates. I finally decided to go to bed because...again...I’m sick and don’t feel well. Eleven hours after the script went in, my husband went to get it - and it STILL had not been filled. There is no excuse that if you are backed up at 10:00 pm, and you are open 24 hours, that you couldn’t catch up by 6:15 am. There is no line of people at 2:30 am demanding prescriptions. This is totally unacceptable and is concerning as people need these medicines in a timely manner. I will be going elsewhere.

This is the worst Pharmacy ever. They never answer the phone. There can be 7 customers deep waiting in line and they will have 1 person waiting on then. To drop off a much needed prescription can take 20 to 25 minutes and then they always tell you it will be about an hour when the reality is 5 to 6 hours. They are understaffed and I refuse to continue to make this my problem. I am transferring all my prescriptions to Walgreens.

They never answer the phone. Way too busy. If you need a prescription the same day (like one does if lets say you just got diagnosed with a bacterial infection) DO NOT go there. Theyve been running 3 days behind. Its pretty absurd. You have to go in, wait in line for 15 min, get a consult, theyll expedite your scrip, then youll have to wait another half hour to hour. If only you could call ahead, but as I said, theyre too busy to pick up the phone.

Do not expect for any prescription to ever be ready, no matter when you arrive. A typical visit involves waiting in a long line, discovering your prescription is still being processed, being told to wait 15 minutes and actually waiting 45 to an hour. The people are friendly but their system is absolutely broken. Go to Walgreens down the street instead

Has gone from perfectly reasonable to terrible. Rxs that are unfilled after TWO weeks (blamed on being in the wrong system), hours to wait for something that says filled, IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone, and insufficient staffing. Avoid.

Pathetic pharmacy and a disgrace calling it 24 hours if they can’t have adequate staff for pick up of prescription medication. My ordeal started at 8:30 pm when I was turned away by the attendant saying we are short of staff and redirected me to CVS Lexington. The staff at CVS Lexington said they have been trying to call up CVS store over last 1 hour and no one picks up. I finally returned to CVS Main St and was helped by Tracey who understood the situation and despite having to do some procedures with insurance was calm, smiling and helping me get some urgent dosage for my wife. You need a lot more of them and fire the staff who send customers from one store to the other. Am I coming back. Most likely no...will try my luck online...and if we’re to visit try odd hours.

Pharmacy answers the phone after a few rings and is responsive.They worked with me to get a prescription filled before I left for vacation out of country. It was even covered by insurance though well before my normal refill period.Stock of shampoo, conditioner, and other pharmacy goods is always fine.Only complaint is sometimes they can be a bit under staffed out front for register operations that need one of their staff. The automatic checkout sometimes needs staff input and they might have only one person up front who is also handling the non-automated register.

Sucks,I just want to take the medicine of prescription, it takes me almost 2 hours. Because they have problems of their system. I’m literally always waiting line for way too long for my prescription, currently I’m waiting in line for my script as I write this review. I’m not sure if it’s short staff, but they should hire more people. The manager should pay more attention to the time patients stand in line. I only continue to come here since it’s literally a block from my apartment, but should begin to reconsider.

CVS 12 Harvard Street is my go to Pharmacy and Ive never experienced any bad customer service. As a matter of fact, I visited the pharmacy yesterday to fill a prescription. For some reason, the person who waited on me, Elaine N. received an error message that my prescription couldnt be filled. Elaine called my insurance company and stayed on the phone for a very long period of time going to bat for me to get my refill. Elaine went above an beyond yesterday, just as she always do. Its always a pleasure seeing her smiling while working in such a busy atmosphere. She knows her job well and has a caring heart. Great job Elaine and keep doing what you do!

Inept staff. They really need to get with times, and I have no regret using that term in this review. I paid using my phone at a self service kiosk, and one of the sentries on duty thought I stole the merchandise. I was chased outside only to show them their ineptitude in the form of a receipt. It would be easier to let this slide if I wasnt treated like a thief due to an employees lack of modern financial technology. Other than this one bad experience, it is still every CVS you have ever been to.

I just called waltham to ask about forwarding my script to them. I spent the time to search online for a 24 hour pharmacy because i will be traveling this weekend and I work almost all waking hours of the day. The man that picked up simply said you cannot enter that on the phone. Its not a refill and he dumped me via phone. OK. So now, I will uber there. What if they dont have the script in stock? Well then thats a head ache from me. If you spend the time up front to help someone you avoid later problems and headaches that take too long. your choice. EN ROUTE...

Tried to buy a decongestant containing psuedoephedrine and their computer system failed to complete the transaction. They tried to run it through again, but unfortunately the federal database connection part of the first transaction went through, so it appeared to the database like I was trying to buy 2 boxes in one day and rejected the second transaction. Because their register messed up the first transaction, they were unable to sell me the decongestant.They apparently have gone through this before, because they knew the Hannaford across the street didnt have an electronic connection to the federal psuedoephedrine database, and instead had a manual written one that is mailed to them later.Use this pharmacy at your own risk, if they can mess up this transaction, they can mess up yours. I have never had issues buying psuedoephedrine before.

This has to be one of the more disappointing CVS I have been to that’s not completely in a run down town. There’s something fundamentally wrong with the pharmacy, it takes them over 30 minutes to answer phone calls and they seem perpetually understaffed and overworked. I don’t know what’s wrong with the management of the store but it’s inefficient and underwhelming. I’m going to be transferring my prescription somewhere else.
