The store is very clean and authentic. So many imported Italian items to chose from! They have everything you need and more. Affordable prices with top quality products.

Anyone who knows me knows I do not cook! I started going to Salpino once or twice a week to buy pre-cooked chicken to meal prep fir the week. Everything I have tried is delicious (I prefer this location other the 2 others but honestly all are terrific). The price points are great considering. There fresh mozzarella is amazing!! They also sell fresh homemade sauces. They offer catering as well. They definitely have a client for life!

What can I say about the can I say about Sala peesh... They have the greatest stuff and theyre really Hard working staff.... I wish I was closer by and had a bigger refrigerator.

I’d be lost without this place, they were incredible before Covid but during COVID there truly were incredible. Store was always stocked with all your needs they have a great selection of meats,cheeses and cold cuts and given to you with a smile and polite conversation. The dinner specials are excellent. The staff is always happy and helpful. If your on a health kick the salads weather pre-made or your own custom creation are always fresh and tasty. Salpinos Wantagh is a must visit for lunch on the way to beach as well!

This place is phenomenal, talk about an authentic Italian deli. I travel from eastern Suffolk county for their mozzarella. I appreciate authenticity and great service, this place definitely caught my attention. Now my family orders Salpinos for all family gatherings !

This place offers a variety of food leaning towards the Italian side. They have the BEST meats for a barbecue and all the sides to go with it. I especially love the sliders and the chicken kabobs. They have fresh breads, pasta, sauces, cookies and cakes. Great staff and great food. This is where you go to buy food when you want to impress your friends and enjoy! Call ahead for large orders.

Clean deli good service I ordered a italian hero and american hero the bread was horrible and they skimped on the lettuce and tomatoes on both and no roast beef on the American hero my guests pointed that out to me very disappointed

I love this place. What ever you do, dont go there hungry. I always buy too much from the meat department! LolService is great and the deli and meat departments are out of this world!

Walking into Salpinos the smell of good home cooking just makes me wish they had tables so I could sit down and try everything. The best !!! I order the family dinner at least once a month. Weve had the eggplant rollitini, chicken Frances, chicken with broccoli n sundried tomatoes, sausage n peppers, baked Ziti..almost everything on the list at least once and have never been disappointed. Love this place..

Absolutely delicious enticing multitude of excellent food choices well prepared and presented in an immaculate store. And unlike similar Italian specially stores, prices are very reasonable throughout the store. And everyone working there is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Prepared food is really good. Better than some pizza restaurants. A cross between a salumeria and a market. In a pinch you can your food shopping here. And a bonus is a really good Italian bakery across the street

Salpinos in Wantagh provdes great food, groceries, and outstanding service to its customers. From Paul taking the grocery order, and Larry checking on the delivery, everything was excellent from start to finish. The produce, meat, sandwiches and dinner were all outstanding. They are providing a great service with kindness and caring to the community.

Not so great ... they were low on bread today so I had to get a chicken cutlets on a wrap n when I got home all I got was lettuce and tomato they forgot my cutlets ????? Smh

I loved this place, but there is one person in particular behind the deli counter that I had a bad experience with about a year ago. I went in today & was next in line for the deli & he was the one that was available, but when he saw it was me he ended up not taking my order & doing something else. I think this is very rude of him & poor customer service. This totally turned me off & I walked out upset. I will think twice about going back. Totally unacceptable!

I love this deli. I started coming in during the Covid19 isolation. Immaculate. The service is excellent. I usually get this thin Italian man who I feel already knows me. The cold cuts and cheeses are sliced and separated to perfection. The fresh home made mozzarella is the BEST in town and I have tasted all in Merrick, Bellmore and Wantagh. The meats are all excellent cuts. Their deli counter has all fresh selections with the most delicious aracini balls. I cannot rave enough. I am now a regular customer.

I go here all the time. Thier deli sandwiches are great. The people who work there always friendly. They have a great selection of salads. I myself would recommend the seafood salad. They also have a good selection of breads behind the cashier. Just go early because the bread goes fast.

Salpino’s just catered our son’s 1st Birthday party and the food was absolutely delicious! EVERYONE was asking where the food was from and commenting how good it was. Larry was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our party. We will definitely be using them to cater our parties to come! So happy we have left overs to eat for dinner tonight :)

Called in an order for their Family Dinner and it was ready when I got there. It was awesome tasting!

Looked liked a good spot. Called in my order before i even left the house in advanced for the beach. They said an hour and a half for two sandwiches. Thats poor phone service, someone being to busy and lazy to make a phone order in a respectable amount of time. I woulda been fine with 45 minutes even, but not 1.5 hours for 2 items off the menu with no substitutions.

Been coming here for years and love it. Their fresh mozzarella is quite good and if you come here its a must buy. Eat it when its room temperature with a good piece of crusty bread and some tomatoes. Good stuff. All the rest of their food is quite good as well. It is a little pricey however.

My favorite place to buy all of my Italian homemade cold cuts, supersata mortatella tarallis Italian bread cookies pastries anything thats homemade Italian I can buy it at Salpinos I only wished that I lived much closer to the store. But every time that I visit my own son in Seaford my first stop is by Salpinos my son always brings me there for all of their great cold cuts..love love Salpinos

Salpinos has the very best Mozzarella cheese Ive ever had in my life. Im in Indiana but had the pleasure of visiting Salpinos during a visit to Long Island with a friend. I bought some Mozzarella to bring home for others to try but it never made it off the plane. Its just that good.

I used salpinos this weekend and wow they hit out out of the park.I had to change my day cause of weather (rain date) and Paul was supper helpful and understanding.The staff they sent went out of the way I never had to say a word they were ontop of everything and cleaned up like they were never even there!!I caint day enough about them. When I was deaiding who to use I had very good feeling about Salpinos and man was I right.They took pride in there workmanship and delivered perfect food at the right tempeture .I’m going to refer them Buisness cause I know they will do it right and care about the quality they deliver. Hard to find qualities these days !!Paul your team was great thank you !!
