We purchased a 2020 Trail Boss back in September of 2020. We saw it sitting on the lot and just had to have it. Mike was the sales manager at the time and gave me a terrific amount for my trade in. Kyle was our salesman and he did amazing showing as all of the features of the truck and chatting with us to make us feel at home. The process was very smooth and simple and we had no complaints. I have dealt with other Chevy dealers that I was not impressed with, so Lakeside did an amazing job! Several months into this truck and its everything I have ever wanted in a truck. I love this thing and it was definitely the right truck for me!

If I could give negative Stars I would because this place is a joke. I have never had any problems with a dealership before working on my vehicle but this place takes the cake. It took them nearly an entire day to diagnose my vehicle and that wasnt even doing any work on it just figuring out what was wrong with it. Then I was initially promised it was going to be done Tuesday and I didnt get to pick it up until the following Friday after dropping it off the previous Friday first thing in the morning. And of course for all my trouble of having no vehicle for that length of time I was offered a loaner car but that never happened and I wasnt even called about updates on it either. And dont get me started on warranties because I spent days on the phone harassing the warranty company because they refuse to call and start a claim so the parts could be covered. I wonder if I didnt call the general manager how long my truck would have sat there before it went through the warranty process. If you have a choice to go anywhere else I would definitely go somewhere else because its the first and the last time that I will ever use them. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.*** In reply:Make things right? Well considering I had to take it to another dealership because a valve cover wasnt tightened... I wouldnt even take a free oil change.

My salesman Ron Blum scheduled my oil change for 8 am on 9/3/21, Ron is a good guy.I drive into dealership at 8 am.Pull up to the service door and it doesn’t open.I see a man milling around inside, walks past me a couple of times but he doesn’t open the door.8:20 a woman comes in to work. She walks around and then opens the overhead door after a few minutes.I pull in and wait 5 minutes for the service writer to come out and get my information, never comes out.I get out of my truck and then she walks in and says they were wondering what I am doing there.I said I have an appointment for an oil change at 8 am.She asks “Did you buy it here”What would it matter where I bought it, it’s a new truck and I had an appointment?That was at 8:30AM. She came out at 9:30 and said it was done.They did an oil and filter change. No tire rotation. The flyer I received from the dealership referenced a free 1st service that included the oil change and tire rotation.They did a couple of software updates on the electronics which gives them more charge backs to the manufacturer.I chose a small town dealer for the service and I did not get it. I left feeling like an outsider that was given the minimum service experience. They did the bare minimum.

I had a great experience and got a great truck. Kyle and Frank were amazing to to work with, and didn’t have that stuck up feel that most dealerships have. Several employees are actually car and bike guys(at least one vet), not just salesmen, I would recommend them and will update as they will also be doing any maintenance to ensure their awesome warranty package holds

The salesman Ron Blum I dealt with made things right and was awesome to work with with the sale of my truck. How ever The manager to stiffed me on some money that was agreed on and was very rude. I won’t buy from there. The new management doesn’t treat people like the old management did. The new management just wanted to line their pockets with money instead of helping the customer. Definitely won’t go back.

Once again, as always, Lakeside took such good care of my truck. They realize that even routine maintenance can get expensive if you have to do several things at once. They are more than willing to work with you on scheduling what is most important first and what can wait. They also are very good about not overselling. I thought my truck had a wheel bearing issue, but they investigated and even rode with me to try to hear the problem. They said they just didnt see or hear anything that needed attention. The tech was very knowledgeable and willing to educate on what to watch for. These are the reasons I keep going back for all my Chevy needs!

Overall terrific experience! Worked with Kyle on purchasing a nice ride. The biggest thing that drew me in to them is their forever warranty they have on most vehicles! Only thing I would recommend, is when someone is for sure purchasing a used vehicle, please go through and detail it better. I spent almost $6000 on a new transmission. When I picked up my car a few weeks later, the oil change message was up (Id forgotten it was on when I dropped it off). While I am satisfied with the work performed, I would have thought that a GM service center would see something like that and find an opportunity to win over a new customer for oil changes and tire rotations (as well as all the other maintenance items that pop up during those intervals) and provide a convenience and one-stop for the customer. Anyhow, Ive got to go. Got to call Best One to schedule the oil change and rotation... and whatever else they find doing their 53-point inspection. Maybe tires?

I first inquired on a vehicle two weeks ago and am out of state. I was immediately contacted by Amber who worked on the internet team. She quickly dispatched my interest to Ron, who has been magnificent to work with. He let me know that the car was sold and intermittently gave me updates on the deal he was working. Turns out a gentleman from Arizona had put down a deposit on the same vehicle I inquired on earlier in the day. Even though we did not complete a transaction, Ron still reached out to me and wished me well in my search for another vehicle. Most dealerships wouldnt even answer me. I would do business with Ron and the rest of the team the next time around if the opportunity arises.

Buyer be aware. My own fault for not asking, but a $45k truck I didn’t expect the roof to be caved in. Nor did I think it was something I should have inspected. Purchased a 2017 Denali last week in a pinch again $45k for an old truck. Went to install a bed cover tonight only to see the roof has been caved in and repainted in portions. Again that’s on me. “Fool me once”. I also realized they had left it with 14% oil life remaining. Seriously you couldn’t change the oil for $45k. Also asked because of the price tag if the truck could be detailed for me prior to taking it home, as one would expect with a purchase of that magnitude. Nope they took it back and got it wet. Left the inside and outside uncleaned.

We purchased 2 vehicles at the same time. Went thru the usual this is the best we can do after telling them exactly where we wanted to be in price and haggling a bit back and forth. Also was told we would get the bed liner at their cost but when they finally got back with us on add on costs (window tint, remote start, ect.) The price for the bedliner was $100.00 more then all of a sudden and they would not honor the $400.00 we were told when we bought the brand new truck. We have purchased vehicles before where they were happy we were customers and even thru in mats for the car we bought. Not here they wouldnt even honor the price they gave us for the bedliner.
