Great place the young man who helped me (didnt catch his name) was great, funny & very informative. I was doing my first build and needed a lower he helped me with great recommendations from magazines to oil and cleaners. Placed my order and about week later received a call that it will be ready to pick up tomorrow. Came the next day and had it ready for me. Even told me to give him a call if I have any problems with the build. My first experience with this shop was a pleasant one.

This place was top notch. Thier low on supplies right now, but great customer care. Took the time to explain, safety, and regulations. I refer all my friends. Thanks for the great service

Very cool staff helped me out, with very little in stock due to covid I was still able to get lucky in picking up an item that I wanted that was almost sold out.I knew exactly what I wanted and I called prior to visiting and they catered very well to someone who was new to firearms.

Great shop for the new gun owner just as advertised!...I’d been to many gun shops more local to my area and didn’t get treated as well as expected...it’s almost like they didn’t want to sell to me...once I got to this shop, that changed as they were very friendly...got a nice little sig 9mm with ammo...they keep a stash of ammo for buyers even when they’re sold out for the non-buyer!...background check took 10 days total from signing to pickup...very happy with this shop!

This was my first transaction with Rhode Island Guns and Ammo and I am very pleased with my decision. I had purchased a firearm from an online auction site and needed a local FFL dealer to receive the shipment. George and Tom did not hesitate to accept the transfer. They called me once the firearm arrived and I went in to fill out the paperwork. This may be a small store but these guys are friendly, knowledgeable and will go out of their way to answer any and all questions you may have. I had wanted to sell a gun of mine for a few months and had been doing research into value and where I should go for the best $$$ offer. George the Owner was very accommodating of me, even though I arrived very close to their Labor Day weekend closing. He offered me well above what I would consider a fair $$$ offer for my Glock. Rhode Island Guns & Ammo even helped me out with the best conspicuous pepper spray product for my girlfriend. I would highly recommend you support this Small Business Owner!

George and Tom provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about firearms as well as laws and the CCW permit application process. George does range qualifications for $50 which is the cheapest in the state. Not to mention they have the cheapest transfer fee ($20) in the whole state. They also have prices on bulk ammo which are comparable to online sales if you have them order it ahead of time. Ive been to a few gun shops in the state now and I dont go anywhere else since I found this shop.

Called in to ask if they had any 9 mm ammo in stock. The answer was no it doesnt exist across the planet. Well thats not entirely true because I just talked to a firearm store in Rhode Island that had some in stock for $20 a box. so it does exist. I was just calling to see if they had it in what their price was. So I guess theyre lame attempt at being funny while I was calling about something serious really wasnt too funny.

First time visiting, very nice and helpful. Made me feel right at home. They say we cater to the new shooter and their not lying never once pressured me to buy anything and answered all my question.

Excellent service. These guys handled my transfer with speed, efficiency, and communication. I say communication, because the owner called me twice to give me info and updates on progress. (That is a rarity in RI.) I like this store and recommend you stop in a see for yourself. Its my new go-to store.

I love going to this shop. George and Tom always treat me well. I have made several gun purchases since January and will make many more there. They are respectful and knowledgeable. If they dont have it, they can get it. I cant say enough nice things about them. If you havent been yet, I suggest you swing on by.

They offered me 175 bucks for my Taurus 1911 45 and said they would resell it for 275.ya ok used they are worth 450.do your research before you sell.and do not sell it here.you will get ripped off.At the last comment,The gun was almost brand new.slight wear on the grip.That makes it poor condition.oh and btw I got 100 more at mid state.
