The sample dresses to try on are in rough shape - there was pilling, stains, and pulls on much of the dresses’ fabrics. They need to be replaced. It’s difficult to get a visual image of the gowns because of the state of their conditions.Overall, it was a good appointment. Our stylist was nice and helpful and honest, but again, the state of the dresses really brings down the experience and expectations of these thousand dollar dresses.

Rosie at BHLDN in Georgetown is an absolute saint!! She was so helpful and kind when I was looking for a dress after losing my previously purchased dress in a house fire. She went above and beyond in being kind and helping me find something beautiful. Thank you Rosie!!♥️

I was very excited to try on BHLDNs dresses! They are beautiful and just my style but unfortunately the service was awful and I left feeling flustered and frustrated. Our stylist, Gabriella, was extremely pushy and only let me try on 4 dresses. I pointed out others I liked but she would not let me try them, and proceeded to count down the minutes until the appointment time was over. My family flew in from the midwest to accompany me, and she would not wait for my own mom to see the dress on me before she had me change, stating only 15 minutes left, there is no time and pushing my mom out of the dressing room. I left in tears about how she made us feel, the confrontations that we had, and that my family had flown across the country for an experience like that. I am extremely disappointed. BHLDN needs to work on making the brides feel beautiful and valued before they will ever get my business!

Even though I didnt find my dress here, my stylist Savannah was awesome. Loved how laid back and patient she was and she pulled some great dresses with different silhouettes. I think that this store is best for brides looking for a boho look at an affordable price. Definitely recommend making an appointment for sure.

Ive been to 3 BHLDN locations (NYC, Devon, and Georgetown) and this is the best one by far. My stylist, Cora, was so helpful and accommodating. She didnt pressure me at all, or make me feel rushed, even though I was half an hour late due to traffic. She took time to listen to what I wanted and gave me non-pushy suggestions for dresses that would fit my body/venue well.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience thanks to BHLDN Georgetown! I was absolutely in love with the Cecily Gown (which at the time was on final sale) and I desperately wanted to be able to try it on and see it in person instead of taking a risk & ordering it online (final sale dresses are not returnable). I was able to make an appointment for a fitting 24 hours before going in. I went to BHLDN with my mom on my lunch break (thank goodness I worked in DC and was so close by!) and Calla, our sales associate, was so sweet! Of course I tried on the Cecily Gown first (AND FELL IN LOVE!!), but I also tried on other dresses as well. Calla quickly figured out my style and brought me more dresses I hadnt noticed before to try on too. I knew the Cecily Gown was the one and after purchasing, my mom and I were allowed to relax in the store for a bit longer and enjoy some complimentary champagne. I dont know what BHLDN is like on a weekend, but I can say that shopping on a weekday was amazing. It was like a personal, private shopping experience (I should add this was pre-COVID pandemic). Additionally, months later, when I decided it was time to purchase a veil, I e-mailed BHLDN Georgetown and asked if they had a veil in stock that I tried on at my fitting. Unfortunately that veil was no longer available but Lauren recommended the Scalloped Fingertip Veil which was very similar. She even gave me a free shipping code for it! I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day in the Cecily Gown and Scalloped Fingertip Veil and I cant thank BHLDN Georgetown enough for their help! I love BHLDN wedding dresses and they are so much more affordable compared to other bridal salons. I highly recommend and wish I could have another wedding simply to wear another BHLDN gown! :)

The staff was professional, kind and helpful (ask for Raquel, shes awesome!!). Savannah was amazing, and made me feel completely comfortable even with the COVID-19 precautions. She was warm, welcoming, and relaxed in a way that made me feel no pressure! I loved this experience, the dresses, and the atmosphere so much that nothing compared which resulted in me saying 100 thousand yes’s!

I went to this location to get my dress and bridal accessories in March 2019 and it was a wonderful experience. My stylist Kelsey was sweet and professional, she made me feel comfortable and put no pressure on me. I have to say my experience was fabulous and I will recommend this place highly. My future mother in law and myself had a blast and it was easy and fast. Thank you BHLDN and Kelsey for the nice experience.

I didnt end up getting my dress here, but I enjoyed my experience. Thats mainly bc of the consultant, Meg. She was bubbly, friendly and listened to all my likes/dislikes. if youre going there, highly recommend asking for her when you make your appointment. Also, their turnaround time for dresses is incredible (a week!) so if youre a last-minute bride, this is your best bet.

I would recommend this store to any and every bride! I live out of state and feel so lucky that I was visiting my parents in DC and had access to this store. The experience is fabulous, total movie experience where your mom is waiting with champagne and you make a grand entrance. You get a personal consultant and mine was super nice and helpful. The gowns are also significantly less than other boutiques for the same quality it not better.

Cristina was simply amazing. I had had a negative experience at Bethesda BHDLN in late June 2019 (I left a separate review for them) and didn’t know how good it could be until I visited Georgetown later that afternoon. She made me feel beautiful and heard and helped me narrow down options in a way that made me feel like she was super invested. It felt more like a friend helping me shop than a consultant. She called me in August and told me my dress went on final sale if I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss it, and I bought it over the phone on the spot. This was such a great experience. I had a bridal appointment yesterday and I was absolutely blown away by my consultant, Claire. With her enthusiasm and positive energy, I was able to finally find the perfect wedding dress after months of searching. If you are looking for a dress, please request Claire. She was by far the best consultant I had, and Ive been to quite a few different stores.

I wish I could give BHLDN more than 5 stars! I walked in without an appointment but they managed to squeeze me in. The bridal suite is lovely, and I felt like I had so much privacy and attention. Brandie was a JOY to work with-her patience and kindness really shone, and made the experience altogether wonderful! I didnt expect to find my dress last week, but sure enough-it was perfect! It even arrived within a few days right to my door, and Brandie sized me just right so that alterations will be minor. What a wonderful place!

My experience with BHLDN was completely amazing beginning with the very first phone call I made to reserve my bridal appointment. Emma helped me and my group of gals and she was so attentive and sweet, not to mention 100% professional. I had an amazing experience trying on dresses & bought the dress of my dreams! Their bridal suite is lovely; it’s upstairs, dreamy, and felt really private & I felt like a princess. Also, they don’t do in-house alterations but they can provide a list of their trusted tailors! I cant say enough nice things about the customer service I have received from this BHLDN location. I am from out of town and came for an appointment while I was in DC for a week and they did everything possible to help me in the limited time I had. They also repeatedly shipped things to me once I went home to help me find the right dress, and when I needed accessories but couldnt come to the store they talked with me on the phone for as long as I needed to make decisions on the best earrings and veil to order for the gown I had chosen. They were consultants through the whole process and I never once was made to feel that I was asking too much of them. I really appreciate all their advice, kindness, and judgement free service through the wedding planning process. Thanks so much!

Beautiful dresses and friendly staff. Bridal consultants seem to be more interested in getting you in and out of dresses within your allotted time than providing guidance and recommendations.

My first experience at Anthropology & co Beholden department was quite prejudice. I went in last fall. The attendant looked me up and down and directly stated visits were by appointment only. Not even a hello or offering to set an appointment in the future. My skin is brown and I have big curly hair. It was obvious she was not professional or interested in helping all people specifically a person of color.I went in again today for the first time since then. This time a different attendant greeted me and asked if she could help in any way. This was a much more pleasant visit and I was able to take a look at their stock. I write this in hopes that the company/Georgetown location makes genuine efforts to treat everyone kindly and equally.

I had my first bridal appointment here and I truly loved the experience! My stylist made me feel so comfortable and at ease and the dresses were just gorgeous! My family speaks Spanish and our stylist did too which just made it even more perfect!!

I visited this location in August 2018 looking for a dress I fell in love with online. When I got to the store with my bridesmaids, I ended up not loving the dress I went there for, BUT I found the perfect dress for my wedding! The woman I worked with (Laila?) was super sweet and helpful. We were in and out in under an hour with my dress ordered. I got a ton of compliments on my dress during my wedding this past weekend and I just absolutely love it still. Thank you again!

I havent been in the store but I cant say enough good things about their customer service over the phone! I ordered a bridesmaids dress from them and noticed a tiny error in my mailing address when I got the receipt via email. I called them and they helped me out with exactly what I needed in a timely fashion and were super friendly about everything.

I had such an incredible experience at BHLDN in Georgetown! My consultant, Drea, was so kind and supportive, she really helped me feel beautiful in everything I tried on, was extremely knowledgeable of the dresses and accessories, and never rushed or pressured me. I would go back again and again, but I found a perfect dress and dont plan on getting married more than once! Its a gorgeous collection and a really special experience. For any bride who loves modern, romantic, elegant, and unusual dresses, or brides looking for a dress that stuns without costing a fortune– I cannot recommend BHLDN highly enough.

The ladies working with BHLDN are amazing. I called in to place an order for 6 wedding dresses over the phone and needed the dresses shipped overnight. They waived the shipping fee and were so nice and helpful. They even still had my measurements on file from 8 months prior when I tried dresses on there.

Went dress shopping here today, and found several great dresses. Now Im just having a hard time choosing between them. Naima helped us and she was very nice and knowledgeable. I was worried I would feel rushed because we only had an hour, and we had to book so far in advance, but it was a great experience. Now I just have to choose which dress.

Such incredible dresses. Appointment was hard to get, had to book pretty fast in advance and go on a weekday morning. They were helpful and able to add more dresses to try on beyond what was selected online in advance, though it was also clear they were on a schedule.

I purchased two different dresses at BHLDN in Georgetown and had a great experience both times. The second dress was an accident, it jumped off the shelf at me and I almost had a breakdown because I loved it so much. Nirvana let me try it on with no appointment and was very helpful in clipping it to show how it would fit. She was awesome and if you need to try on gowns here, ask for her!

I had my first appointment at BHLDN last night, and I can’t stress enough how comfortable and amazing it was. When I first got there, I was greeted by Cristina who would be helping me for the night. She asked me a few questions, and helped explain everything I needed to know regarding price, fit, and style. She pulled tons of samples and brought us down to the fitting room area where they had set up enough seats for my friends and family who were with me. As I would try on each option, she would ask me what I did and didnt like about them, and come up with a solution. I didn’t think I would find my dress, since this was my very first appointment, but she kept mentioning one skirt that she really thought I would love. We ended up running over time, and she suggested that if I try one more on, to try that skirt with a top that I had already fallen in love with. It was exactly what I imagined myself in since day one. As I walked out, I looked in the mirror, and bursted into tears! Cristina was so great, ready to pop on any accessories I asked for, and of course with the champagne and tissues! I loved my experience here, and am absolutely coming back for bridesmaid dresses!

The dresses here were so beautiful, and the fitting area felt elegant and personal. My only complaint was that a 1 hr appointment felt a bit rushed.

BHLDN seriously has the best customer service. Worked with Ama and shes really kind, stylish, and attentive! She was so patient with me as I didnt know what style I wanted to go for. She even helped me think about how to do my hair, what accessories, etc. Far better service than JCREW next door. After going to many boutiques in DC/VA area and visiting Davids Bridal several times, BHLDN had not only the best quality and ones to fit my style, but also great prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Appointments usually need be scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance online.

A truly outstanding experience. I had my eye on a dress style for several months after helping my fiancé’s best friend with dress ideas. Once we became engaged, I set up an appointment the following week, knowing this was the boutique that had my dress. We were greeted professionally by Nicole, an amazing stylist who made you feel like you were shopping with your best friend. I had my dress reserved, but she included similar styles, observing just from my outfit, Hair, accessories that I was Modern but chic Boho bride.I tried my dresss on first, and as much as I loved it online, it wasn’t me. I was surprised. I told her color scheme, and she had picked out a dress personally, saying it would look gorgeous against the colors. As we saved the best for last, and walked to my friend, I felt likeI was walking down the aisle; it was my dress! I unexpectedly said to the dress, even though it was on back order. She accommodated is with our order, and brought us champagne to celebrate.It was truly a great experience, and I’ve had multiple people not only shocked at the price and outstanding quality, but truly impressed at her amazing skills. It also was under 1000, well under budget, but you’d never know it! Some dresses are thinner materials, do be wary when choosing style.Should you chose this place, request Nicole. Weeks later, she sent me a hand written note thanking me for the experience, and wishing me and Mark congratulations after my dress was delivered! She made the experience a truly unexoected but special occasion. I’d give it tens stars if i could. It beats Davids Bridal any day, with multiple recently married friends saying they’d buy it in a heart beat!

There were several people shopping but i was greeted at the door and there were other sales people who asked if i needed help. For the amount of shoppers the store was neat and orderly.

I was not expecting BHLDN to be so casual! I get that they are more for a boho type bride, but the dresses are such poor quality and you are really just in the Anthropologie dressing room. None of the dresses are lined, all the samples are torn and dirty, none of them are of quality construction.
