Green and Blue Studio was easy to work with, a pleasant environment, and an overall great experience! I bought my dress off the rack and needed to get it altered to fit as well as have the belt attached. They listened to all my concerns and thoughts and had great input as well! It was clear that everyone there knew what they were doing! I needed only two fitting appointments and then was good to go! I was so happy with my dress and glad I went with Green and Blue Studio for alterations!

Honestly, this is one of the best businesses I have ever worked with. I recently had my wedding dress altered here for my wedding in March and the team here listened to everything, made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Most times for weddings I feel like everyone tries to tuck you out of the ideas you have for your day but Green and Blue although offered their perspective they offered it tactfully and gracefully. I asked to leave my dress long, and I know it’s not recommended, but they let me know although it wasn’t super common they would be more than happy to make adjustments. They are super responsive via email and I do not have a bad thing to say. My dress is perfect and I will recommend this place to anyone! Thank you so much!!!

I had the absolute best experience here! After being referred by Lovely Bride DC, I promptly made an appointment for my wedding dress alterations. Their boutique is beautiful, bright, and clean, which actually made this part of the wedding planning process enjoyable! They really did a great job altering my dress! I live in Texas and our wedding was in DC. The store was very flexible in fitting me into the schedule when I would be in town. The dress I picked needed a lot of work done to make it exactly how I wanted. Their seamstress did a phenomenal job understanding what I wanted different and offering options to achieve the look. I am beyond happy with how my dress turned out.

Had SUCH a good experience with Green and Blue Studio. They were recommended by the shop I bought my dress from and Im really glad I went with them, although maybe a little bit pricier than some other places, worth every penny. My dress didnt need too many alterations because it was ordered to fit, but the Green and Blue team did so many little requests for me- they added a button from my grandmothers wedding dress to the back of mine, changed the bustle the second time I went when I changed my mind from French to American style, altered my tassel arm bands to fit perfectly and rather than adding padding to the bust where I didnt want it, they listened to me and took the boning out of the chest area right then and there so I could be sure thats what I wanted. Awesome experiences there and so happy with the final product. They did an AMAZING job and my dress was absolutely perfect.

I had a great experience at Green and Blue Studio. The location is very close to the metro, and theres also usually parking spaces available right out front. The ladies at Green and Blue Studio are so sweet and willing to work with you on your schedule. They made my dress look BEAUTIFUL! I bought a size 10 sample dress, and Im about a size 2. They were able to perfectly fit my dress to me and it looked amazing on my wedding day. Thank you Green and Blue!!!

I used Green and Blue Studio to fit my wedding dress, on a recommendation of a friend who used them. They were super accommodating, rescheduling appointments and doing last minute changes (I sprained my ankle so had to redo the entire hem two weeks before!). The quality was good. There were little bits that werent 100% perfect, but overall, I was pleased with the results. I was never worried that they would mess something up or not have it ready in time. They take great care of your garment. Excellent customer service.

I went in to get my measurements taken for an already expensive bridesmaid dress and they did a loose measurement rather than a properly fitting one. This resulted in my dress being 2 whole sizes too large and close to $200 in alteration costs - this brought the price of my dress to over $500. Its unfortunate when you trust someone based on their expertise and it ends up costing you a lot of money.
