Service and glasses selection are good even if on the pricy side. From the optician to sales there is nice service.But the buy 2 pair of glasses for half off the price and / or the Buy one pair get one free deals appear to be nothing but a sales scheme, no real deal is possible. There is no reason I see to be disqualified from the sales specials if Ive paid $300-$500 out of pocket. It shouldnt matter how much my insurance covers. Restrictions apply of course. Most know buying glasses completely out of pocket with a prescription is very expensive at most stores. So wheres the deal?So my recent purchase from Visionworks is probably my last. Buyer be aware dont go in expecting the buy one get one free special to be a real thing

We had a great experience.staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was very clean and organized. We were offered the additional exam but were told it wasnt required.

I have tried to come to this location twice, the first time I was late and they made me reschedule, which I will take accountability. The second time I thought it was a 15min grace period and arrived within what I thought was the right time, but they said it was a 10min grace period and I arrived 1minute after, so they couldn’t see me, which was petty.They are not flexible or accommodating. If you want great customer service and a pleasant experience don’t come here. I had such a bad experience I won’t go to another Visionworks. There are many other optometrist/eye exam places in the area, I suggest choosing another.

The lady who helped me was nice at the front desk and so was the doctor. But the other young lady wasn’t professional and I didnt have an overall nice experience there. I felt uncomfortable seeing as she cared more about her phone then she did her surroundings. I stood infront of her desk for almost a minute before she acknowledged me and made it clear it was a nuisance to help me. I even tried to lighten the mood by asking for her help on picking a pair of glasses. But she was even more annoyed that I had asked her questions about pricing. I’m polite and shy and don’t like confrontation but it was unacceptable. Never coming here again.

Staff members are very unprofessional. You call and they place you on hold forever. Have multiple conversations while assisting you. Placed a order weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything from them about my order until I called and was told it was delayed. Very frustrating being as tho I need my contacts. Honestly I’m going back to America’s Best when my prescription expires. Facility is clean but the stay is just to unprofessional for me.

Plan on waiting even if you have an appointment. I have been waiting an hour to see the doctor. SMH.

Dr. Hanowsky was very good!! He did my prescription just about perfect! I usually have issues but I was very pleased with the exam and the time he took to talk with me and explain things. The staff there are courteous but I notice they dont acknowledge customers promptly. Overall, my experience was good.

I placed an order on November 27 and it is January 9 and I still have not received my glasses and I have not gotten any updates on the delay. Ive made numerous calls and sent emails with no updates. This has been the worst experiences Ive had with customer service!!!

I could not agree more with the previous reviewers. The staff here is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. They have a great selection of glasses at a variety of price ranges, and you can browse around without feeling pressured by anyone. They offer all different kinds of lenses, and if you dont like your glasses, you can exchange them for a different pair within 30 days (which is almost unbelievable). Jennifer helped me today and she was fantastic. When she saw the frames that I liked, she brought over a few similar pairs for me to compare, even ones that were less expensive. The focus here is clearly on customer service and satisfaction, over just trying to make a sale. I also got a great deal (40% off prescription glasses). If youre looking for new glasses, this is the only place you should go. I know this totally reads like a fake review, but I can guarantee you, theyre the real deal!

We got great customer service at this location! We were walk ins and on a busy morning and came early to try and be seen. Despite a full schedule we were very kindly and attentively worked in by the great front office staff. Everyone worked efficiently and was so helpful. The doctor did a good job explaining my sons eye issue and even referred me a appropriately for specialty care. A -Plus for service with kindness! We would definitely come back here again. O. Hadley

I am deeply saddened to write such a review. Last year when my daughter & I visited this location it was great! Today that all changed when we showed up for our appointments and were told it was MANDATORY for us to take some specialized test that was on sale for $19.99 to even receive an eye exam. This is after waiting 25 minutes for our appointments! i have health insurance but, was denied service if i didnt agree to pay $40! Thats like my doctor refusing to examine me if I dont pay a thermo-body scan! The rationale provided to me was that due to an extended length of time between visits due to COVID, the company made it a requirement! Thats ludicrous! We only visit once a year anyway so that doesnt make sense! i dont even wear glasses. Why would I pay for a fancy test! Sounds to me like a business just trying to recoup funds during a pandemic. Sooo disappointed! This place is near my home & now I have to find somewhere else. I will also report them because I dont believe its legal to deny someone with insurance service because they wont pay for an additional & completely unnecessary test!

Kind, courteous, friendly, professional people who work there!!! I was greeted warmly from the moment I first walked in. I was treated with respect and made me feel that I truly matter. I had the privilege of being helped by Jennifer and another lady (I wish I got her name) and they were phenomenal! If I had any questions or concerns, they made sure to address it in a timely matter. They were upfront about my costs (what is covered, whats not covered, grand totals, etc...). Definitely would recommend going to this specific site!!!

Went in on a whim to get new glasses while I was shopping in the area today. All of the associates were very helpful and pleasant. I hate shopping for glasses as its overwhelming to sort through all the options, but they helped me quickly find a pair I love, cleared up an issue with my insurance company and worked with my eye doctor to get the prescription faxed. I was in there for a bit getting everything worked out, but they also made sure I was able to get a special they were running in which they ordered my contacts through insurance, gave me 60% off the glasses and a free pair of sunglasses. The best part was I was able to walk out with my glasses in hand.

I was so happy with Jennifer’s recommendations. She took so much time to advise me what fits me best and save me from choosing boring frames.Im really thrilled with my glasses now.

I JUST WANT MY FRAMES BACK and take my business elsewhere. I was told after two miscommunications about the status of one pair of my glasses being ready, and then was told that they would be ready no later the today. Ms. India kindly told me first a manager would call me back, then when I called again was told well there busy as if the $300.00 plus dollars I paid for glasses no longer mattered. Not to mention the fact that the glasses that are the most important for my chronic migraines are the ones that are not ready and the frames alone retail for over $400.00 on top of with what I already spent. So since they could not take my calls today they will see me tomorrow. Awful customer service and no way to treat people.

Very surprised that every last employee I encountered was courteous, helpful, and kind and this has been standard all 3+ times Ive been at this particular one. Visionworks is the worst. They are so busy trying to sell unnecessary glasses, the dont share specific details. I purchased Nike brand eye glasses and they are unable to get replacement nose tabs.DC location have some nice people, but overall not good service,One Richmond location closed do to poor service and staffing. Another Midlothian location didnt even have an Optometrist.I will never return despite spending more than $200 at this place.I was told they couldnt order the nose tabs and was told to contact Nike.I didnt buy my glasses from Nike

The service was spectacular. I was in and our within 90 minutes. This included the eye exam. Dr Fereydouni took time to explain how to work with progressive lenses and offered an additional script for computer use. Also, Notaya was patient while I asked several questions. Her explanation of my options for specialty features was clear.This is my 1st time at Visionworks but definately not my last.

There was exceptional service by Imani from the time of my arrival and through final discussions on pricing options. I also appreciated the professionalism by both Imani and Dr. Reema Bhagat in responding to my many questions. It was comforting to the point of putting me at ease after experiencing some minor “sticker shock”. Excellent service received from good humored, efficient, professional staff. Entered on a whim Monday afternoon to make an appointment. To my surprise, they had a slot open.Half hour later I was being examined.At 45 minutes, Imani very patiently assisted me select frames, thoroughly explained the gagillion lense options available and answered my incessant and nonsensical questions.Finances were being discussed around the hour mark. Hats off again to lmanis thorough, patient, good nature.The gentleman technician casually mentioned he should complete my glasses by days end and suggeted I return to pick them up in an hour! This I did, they were ready, and amazing. Perscription is the best I have had in years - made more impressive at how quickly they were provided.
