I have called and asked for quotes several times or have tried to purchase from this company, if you don’t have an active account, they will not quote you or talk about availability, they were rude on the phone and not willing to take my money, unfortunately we purchased all products for our home build in Vegas, better customer service and better pricing.

Even though the doors are locked and so the show room is closed and so we had to call and make an appointment... these guys were super helpful with all our needs even though we are just doing a small remodel compared to the big builders I’m sure they are working with. Ron helped us with initially ordering all the trim and a fire rated door we needed and everyone who helped us out when I needed to go back for a little more was very nice and professional. Thanks so much Burton! Did I mention we saved a TON of money by suing Burton? Totally worth making that initial phone call for an appointment.

I walked in (first time being there) and was immediately greeted with a someone will be right with you. Sure enough within not even a minute a gentleman started helping me. They were a friendly staff, friendly to eachother and their customers. They took the time to really help and make sure I was taken care of. They had what I needed and i was on my way. I honestly walked out of there thinking Im going to recommend them to everyone, they were so helpful.

Terrible operating hours. Have been told our doors will be delivered multiple times and weve yet to receive them.

Burton Lumber in St George, Utah is the best place to shop for all of your home improvement needs! They treated me like their most expensive customer even when my purchase was small. They were kind, helpful and willing to take the time to educate me before I made my purchase. I was impressed with how quickly my items were shipped. They went above and beyond! I shopped around town and compared to their competitors they shined! I will definitely be returning to Burton Lumber in the future!

Came in to Burton Lumber to get a broken jamb and old trim replaced. They were able to find the trim I needed even though it was an old style and I was able to walk out with a new jamb for my door, not to mention I had came in about five minutes before closing and they helped me out no problem.

Google, this is getting to be a pattern with you!I searched your TOOLBAR, for grocery stores near me and, you (googlemaps,) directed me to Burton Lumber!! Now, Ive worked with burton in a few different cities over the years and theyve always been great, in fact, theyve been better, at giving me the wood I need, than google maps has, at showing me ANY SINGLE THING, that I have searched for in its, MASSIVE MASSIVE search engine and database!!! Oh, and google? Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! UPDATE YOUR SATELLITE IMAGERY NOW AND THEN? The current imagery, in even the most modern areas, is outdated by at LEAST TWELVE YEARS!!! UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! please retweet this to as many google representatives as humanly possible!!

A great place to do business. I do 95% of my company business with Burton Lumber St George. The staff has always gone out of their way to make sure my company needs are met in a timely matter. They go out of their way to help me coordinate out of town projects and find that extra hard molding or hardware to please homeowners expectations. The store is always busy; but a little patience, and seeking out sales staff to help you, will get you great customer service.

Staff is not very friendly. When you walk in nobody pays any attention to you. It seems like they just dont care.

This Burton Lumber location is most recognized for their door shop which is unsurpassed. Overall knowledge within this location is second to none, and unparalleled. Steve (always found at the counter) is highly knowledgeable and eager to assist. Villi (garage door specialist) is friendly, outgoing and continues to broaden his learning within the garage door market. Jesus is just about the easiest going forklift assistant Ive ever met!As for the negativity I read within the ratings, I wonder if these few people ever spoke with the store manager (Matt) regarding discontent. If EVER theres an area in which improvement is possible, Matt has an open door policy and carefully listens. I encourage these people who posted disgruntled comments to speak with Matt. Youd be satisfied with his eagerness to correct any discontent you may have.There is no one perfect business although, St. George Burton Lumber strives for perfection, and always lives up to its highest ratings.

Burton St George is my go to lumber and hardware store. The guys at the counter are very knowledgeable and are always pointing me in the right direction. The guys in the lumber yard are quick to help me load up my material. I cannot recommend a better building material supplier.

Have ordered lumber from burton for numerous projects and home builds. Service has been “okay” And prices are Competitive. Last time in Burton I had the most rude experience from a supplier to a customer ever. Asked a couple question about Simpson hardware and what exact column cap I needed, the sales guy would not answer anything unless I supplied him the part number so he could look it up and read the description on the computer in front of him. As a sales person your supposed to listen to customer descriptions and be familiar with model and part numbers on the products you sell and specs for those products. His response to my question was “well I’m not designing your project so I don’t know what you want me to do” Sorry but that’s the wrong answer dude! And then every price he gave me on other material I was putting on my ticket was double the price it should have been. So I said you know what forget it and cancel the order. Went to dixie lumber, they fulfilled my order with way better customer service and their price on the floor joists were right where they should have been. Will take my buisness to dixie or sunpro from now on. I’ll order lumber from out of town and have it dropped shipped before I ever buy from burton again.

Hit of miss with these people and they can be completely unreasonable depending on the day.

They dont do hardwood but have a good selection of most other building wood. I suppose contractors get a better price than what they give us public but prices arent bad. Not a handyman store for advice.
