Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, they seem to enjoy their hobby and helping people. I will always go to cap city hydro for my local supplies. Way better than laurel, much more on display, they actually have LED lights and new products and the people know what they are talking about.You have to enter through the alley off of the street, but its pretty close to main streets.Def check this place out.Their prices are comparable to laurel, except a much better selection and they actually know what they are talking about.

I never take the time to leave negative reviews, but when representatives of a place outright make fun of paying customers over an ailment due to allergies...Not cool. Extremely unprofessional. Be better. Do better.

This place is extremely hard to find so if you have not been there before, definitely call and ask for detailed directions. Once you find it, you wont be disappointed. They have the largest selection of soil that I have seen along with a huge selection of fertilizers for all types of growing mediums.

Worth the time finding it... these guys are great. They didnt make me feel like a child due to my lack of knowledge. They didnt try to up sale me with stuff I didnt need. They hooked me up with some free stuff, great experience you can tell they have a passion for what they do and I will definitely be returning.

Go to Htg hydro way better.The worst, go to any other hydro store, they are super rude and will cuss and kick you out if you ask too many questions.Mike is the worst

Excellent store! I was able to find everything I needed with the help of staff. They were beyond knowledgable of all products which they have a vast variety of compared to neighboring gardening stores.

Has to be the absolute worst customer service Ive ever received in my life. I asked simple questions about a few of there products and I was met with sarcasm and a bad attitude.

A little hard to find if you dont call. Service was excellent. However they need to match their in-store prices with their online pricing. Because I had overspent by about $22 on Fox Farm products. It was actually cheaper on their website and I shouldve just ordered it. Sucks for me that I found out after I was home and had already started using the products. 😝

Besides being a lil hard to find and in the cut ! everything was cool . Made me feel like back in the day .coming up Upshur Street to get that dub sac in the alley slip it through the door. Lol! No more Laurel for me they got my business!

This place sells items for growing plants..but they sell....other...things. And they dont like nonwhite customers. Their prices are ridiculously high....find somewhere else to get your medicine.
