Shiver Shack snocones in Watauga have been my go-to since way back in my high school days in the 90s. Whenever I go back to that area I always got to hit up Shiver Shack. My favorites are Half blue coconut half banana and of course Rainbow. They have tons of fla or to choose from and a good sugar free selection as well. Nice people amd amazing snocones!

This place was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were even allowed samples. You can enjoy the snowcones out side under the umbrella or just drive thru and pick it up. We tried new flavors and they were delicious.

Friendly workers and delicious syrups. Prices could be lower but you get what you pay for

Overall, just a nice experience. I was experimental with the flavors and wasnt disappointed. Plus they have nachos.

I love this place! Its got great outdoor seating and both workers were super kind and upbeat! I was very impressed with their variety in flavors. I ordered the Moana and it was delicious! My friend got blue raspberry and strawberry. Also on Tuesdays they give 50% off on your second one!

I got a mangonada with chamoy icee and it was so good!!! The prices are reasonable as well so I definitely recommend this place!

This is the place to buy a SLOW cone....not a snow cone. After coming here twice now...I waited 22 minutes to get my snow cone and 18 minutes the second time. Very sad...I dont see how theyre still in business. There were only two customers ahead of me.

Being from NOLA, this is a great find!! Lots of flavors to choose from, friendly staff. And, the snowballs are tasty!

Love going here with friends and family, they take a few minutes to make the Snow Comes but, thats all you really need and its worth it once you get it. I prefer getting the Root Beer Flavored Snow Cone.

I have been to the Shiver Shack several times over the years and I am never disappointed. The snow cones are delicious with lots of flavors to choose from. The staff is always friendly and helpful with the menu. I recently tried the Cantaloupe flavor and I was happily surprised. Its a great place to take kids because its a great inexpensive treat to help cool down from the summer heat. I like the fact that they have a drive thru but they also have patio seating.

Always go there for my snow cones. Arent stingy with syrup as someone else I quit going to for very same reason. STINGY with syrup but not this business. Yall go there ya hear.

2nd time that they did not give enough syrup. When I got home most of the cone was white. Meaning not enough syrup to make it a good snowcone. So disappointing.

Delicious flavors and great customer service

I miss living a couple of miles from this place. When my three boys were toddlers starting around 1999, THIS is where they had their first snow-cones. Kept returning often over the decade we lived nearby, eventually I think my sons tried all 200 or so flavors. Some flavors came and went, but their ability to create new ones every summer was half the fun for my sons. I was more of a purist and stuck to the old-school flavors I grew up with in the 60s. The sizes were ridiculously generous and they never skimped on the syrup. Of course, we often had pickle shooters on the side because the contrast between the sour and sweet was just to much fun with all the faces they boys made over the years.Tempted to make sons load into the car, take the 30 minute drive back just for old-times-sake, before long.

There ice was okay and nothing is going to beat Bahama bucks

Open 2 to 9! I had to ask because I dont live close by but we will be going again! Everything was so good! You have to try their Chamaya Pickles 😋 delicious! The staff are extremely friendly, too. All around great experience. Glad we happened to pass by!

Been coming here since I was very little and they always have kind people working the stand. They have many great flavors and selections of toppings, all equally great. My personal favorite is melon and watermelon. Their snow cones are always perfect with the syrup to ice ratio, a great frozen treat. Will be coming here again when they are open for the summer!
