I like this place,but wasnt too productive to me. Didnt have what we needed this time. A girl asked what we needed, but was clueless when I said what it was. Even the manager acted like she didnt know. Still a good place for hardware, solar power units and power tools cheap.

Love the store great selection great prices but every time I visit the Waterloo location they follow me around like Im a comment thief even though Im a paying club number just because I have tattoos typically they have three or four people following me around the storage ridiculous including the management quite pathetic really I usually spend 400 to 500 at minimum every time I go there still treated like a common thief

Harbor Freight is the go to place for less-expensive tools which also means that one needs to consider the products carefully. I suggest reading the online catalog reviews. All stores are similar but this store is a bit above in that the employees are friendly and helpful.

They need to install benches for people who are disabled. I avoid this store unless i have to go there because the manager is very rude to people who use a 5 gallon pail to set down on. good tools but bad atmosphere.

I usually dont buy a lot of stuff there because I dont use a lot of specialized equipment or tools.

Good deals can be had here if youre knowledgeable about tools and can judge between the garbage and have a savvy eye for quality. Thing that sucks about this place is they DO NOT sell wrenches and sockets individually!! So if I have a worn out 9/16 box end/open end wrench or just a 17mm 3/8 drive socket and need to replace them, youre screwed cause Harbor Freight doesnt sell them by themselves, youll have to buy a whole set.

Inexpensive tools and you get what you pay for. Weve had a few issues with a larger sales item not being in stock, only having one in store and cant order another, yet our neighbor was after that same item and they shipped it in for him. All in all, if you are in a pinch and low on cash, this store would fit your needs.

My wife and I enjoy visiting this Harbor Freight because I get to look around at all of the things I don’t need, but talk myself into needing while she searches her phone for harbor freight coupons to get a percentage off or a free item such as batteries or a cheap moving blanket. The employees at this store seem to be helpful and knowledgeable of the current deals offered at this store.

Had just what I was looking for, long nose and needle nose pliers, at a very reasonable price. Helpful person right inside the door directed me to exactly where I needed to be.

Have a lot of tools from here that are still functioning well and the prices are great.

I know, some of the tools arent premium quality, and the package of cheap batteries maybe some are no good. Overall though they have a lot and most the stuff is at least okay quality if not a little better than that.

Bought a battery charger from here. A good deal on items if you go with the advertised sales. Only thing I dont care for and other stores do it too is the push for extended warranty. Most of the time not a good deal.

My first visit to Harbor Freight wow I was like a kid in a candy store. Too bad most of what they carry is non brand name stuff but if youre looking for something that is just good enough to do a few jobs every now and then this is a place to get your tools at. Great prices and large variety.

Used to be really cheap. Now its becoming what it was never supposed to be. No need to make a special trip here anymore. Tools at other places such as Menards and Blains are of the same quality, warranty, and price.

They had an oxy acetylene torch listed for 319 when I got to the checkout they wanted over 400 claiming I had to pay extra for the tanks. Ad said they were included. Wont be going back to that place.

Im kinda Leary about buying power tools there,bought a bandsaw awhile back and broke a small piece on it and found out you cant buy any parts for it. So had to buy a new one,but,now I got extra parts!
