While their customer service wasnt bad this is the second time Ive brought my vehicle to this location and was there for 2 hours or more.Today I went in for a routine oil change and asked for them to check my transmission fluid. I was told I needed maintenance. I was quoted $400. I couldnt stay and have it done when their only promise was it would be done by end of day and Im glad. No one was even able to tell me if the fluids were low. When I asked the receptionist if it was serious she said yes its pretty serious. I had another appointment to get to so I scheduled an appointment for another date.When my quote was printed suddenly there was a reason I needed to have the service done. Which started my suspicion.After I left I thought that $400 sounded high and called multiple mechanics which were all agreed $400 was too much for a routine transmission flush. As a matter of fact, the highest quote I received was $250 with the largest vehicle IF they had to drop the pan. They also said my vehicle make and model usually doesnt need change for another 8-10,000 miles (Im at 71k) so the urgency that was pushed on me today was unnecessary. I will not return nor do I recommend anyone take their vehicle here for maintenance.
Made an appt. for an open recall, was told when I got there, may have to keep it overnight, so why did I have to make an appt?? They fixed the recall in a timely manner, so they say, but wouldnt or couldnt answer any of my questions. They were however very good at pushing the diagnostic test for $99.95! Not Impressed....😏 Issues not resolved!!!

We leased our Jeep through them and had a great experience. But their service department is MAJORLY lacking. We made an appointment for an oil change and 2 hours later were still waiting for our vehicle. We used them because it was free with our lease, but I could have changed it faster.
I have only been there twice but I noticed immediately the professional service and excellent service. As a retired mechanic Im hard to please. The 2 warranty repairs I had done were perfect.
Recently purchased 2 vechiles from them....the overall experience was great. I’ve sent at least 8 of my friends and family there..that have purchased vechiles ..was told I would be receiving bird dog checks. Well it’s been months and months excuse after excuse....I sold cars for over 10 years and lived off referrals and previous customers. Apparently they don’t appreciate the referrals I’ve sent to them.
They were very friendly and got things done in a timely manner for my family did not have to sit there all day. Great customer service and acknowledgeable about the cars they were selling.
A salesman came out to greet us, Chris. Was very accommodating. We did drive a Pilot.I was disappointed to see the used vehicles hadnt been cleaned. That was off putting. Chris gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, 3 is for the business.
I went to them about 4 months ago to see what my trade in value of my Ram 2500 was. The sales associate I spoke with would not tell me the value just kept pushing me to buy. I tried calling him back left several messages for him to call me and he never did. I never planned on going back there again. So today I needed an oil change and a New York State inspection so against my better judgement I went ahead and gave them another chance it took over an hour to get this completed very disappointed.
Dealership is a standard dealership, no complaints. The problem is the standards appear to be low when it comes to the work the service department provides. In this example, I returned home and shortly noticed a large pool of oil forming in my driveway from the oil filter. Additionally, there is oil all over my engine compartment.In the past, I visited for a tire rotation which I paid for but they did not perform, and have noticed small scratches on my vehicle doors and interior.I would say if you are going to go to this location just take the time to inspect your vehicle to ensure that the work was done to your satisfaction. Personally, I will not be visiting this location again.
I was really disappointed with this appt on the day I went. I couldnt believe that an AC and Brake dx would take 5.5 hours. I ended up coming to this service center because my usual in Alex Bay was busy and I was needing to get in. They fixed my AC and put some new in with dye. So far so good on that front thankfully. Found an issue with the brakes that I will be bringing to my usual svc center in Alex Bay.When I got back to my van I fell back into my seat as I realized that whomever worked on it didnt put my seat back and I noticed that our radio/music had been messed with and they went into our personal music. I dont recall seeing on my sheet that they had to work or do anything with the radio/music.I thought with the ads Ive seen on TV and etc that Bob Johnson would be a good place to go. And also the set labor price seems high there to me. And they also have a set straight dx fee for each thing youll have checked.
I have a great history with this dealership. The sales team is great professional and work hard to give you the car buying experience you deserve. The service is fast friendly and gives you steady updates on your vehicle. Lawrence is the best service advisor in the history of service advisors. I STRONGLY recommend him for service.

They had nothing to fit my parameters and didnt offer any help for the future. I wouldnt recommend the business for any future transactions. The crazy thing was I was willing to pay cash not finance. I guess in this day and age cash is a useless commodity.
Crooks, charged me several hundred dollars just to put on snow tires. I should have done more research on price before hand, because many other places I talked to later only charge about $20 per wheel
Have brought my vehicle in for transmission issues and still hasnt gotten fixed, transmission keeps slipping and honestly I dont even think the tech drives the vehicle after the repair.The service advisor first told me they replaced the whole transmission, which wasnt the case. The last time I called to schedule an appointment I got the run around because they only have one transmission guy, and the lady told me she was going to call me back but never did, so when I called a few days after she kept placing me on hold and was very rude until i finally reached a different person that answered the phone.Service is terrible here, if I could give negative stars I would

Very kind and professional staff. I stopped in for a last minute car inspection as the mechanics were going home for the day. The guy at the front desk and the executive mechanic agreed to stay late to get my truck inspected. I am very grateful for this kind gesture, they have earned my loyalty to their business!
This was, by far, the worst experience buying a car. 1st I found the car online read the details provided by the dealership. I chose my car because it had all the amenities I wanted and was a color I preferred. I had a different dealership with the same car 20 minutes from my house that was 10,000 miles less but was white which I am not a fan of. So I drove over an hour to this dealership. They had the car there for me to test drive. However, it was covered in mud so you could not fully examine it. Turns out there were a few barried rust spots. Second issue was I looked at the seats and thought in the description it said leather. But leather was not a deal breaker. The sales person went over the specs of the car with us stating the heated seats and DVD player. We get the car home and the DVD screen has a giant Crack which was not visible until it was turned on. The headphones were different than the ones pictured in the ad, the picture had sliver ones and I recieved black ones. The ones I got were missing battery covers. I go to heat up the seats and wouldnt you know there are not heated seats installed in this car. I went back to the description FROM the dealerships website and found several other listed amenities that were not in the vehicle. Now I had other option I would have bought, for the same and some less, price so these missing amenities was a big issue I would not have purchased this car if I had known. The dealership says that because they didnt go over everything with me at the dealership they would either fix the DVD player or put in heated seats. First, they did go over it at the dealership, and stated those things were installed, and even if they didnt, advertising something as having specific things that were not present is not ok. And is illegal. So now Im in the process of filing a small claims case to lessen the price due to not having what it should have or get the things advertised installed. Mind you there was no difference in price at other dealerships that had this vehicle with all the things missing. So, either they greatly over charge or they knew it was being advertised as something with all the things, when in fact it did not. Also I heard from someone who works with this dealership, and they said this isnt the first time that they have dealt with this type of thing from them. Stay away from them it is a bigger pain to have to deal with the issues that follow working with them than any car they could sell you.
Needed a Tail light for my Ram 1500...was told it wasnt in Stock...but was told he could get it for me the next day anytime after 8:30 am...so I showed up 8:45 am...sure Enough it was There.
Ellis Veal is the man. I told him what I wanted and how much I could afford in my monthly budget. The truck he sold me had everything I wanted. He was quick to react and extremely responsive with any questions or concerns. 2 Thumbs up for Ellis at FX 👍👍
Brought my vehicle in for the appointment and service rep was not pleasant, she asked for my keys and I informed her that initially I was told it may take about 5 days to complete my vehicle. She told me to hold on. I stood at the counter, the rep started other tasks and helped another customer. I asked for loaner or a shuttle. No courtesy, non-communitive, and rude. Therefore my expectations were not exceeded and I did not receive the best service as they claimed in their ad. Sent my vehicle in clean and polished. It was given back with smudges, new damages and unfinished work, and a disconnected seat belt to my new vehicle. Ill let you know what happens next.
Great sales department; utterly abysmal service department. I bought a Jeep here in July from a great sales team. Had an auto stop/start issue under warranty, took it in to troubleshoot. It took two visits for them to determine a part was needed to order. Keep in mind I wasn’t informed of this when I picked up my car. I was told I was “good to go.” Get in my car, light comes on. I walk back to the service desk, ask what’s going on. “Uh, oh yeah. We have to order a part; should take a week. We will call you when it’s in.” I never get a phone call. I call them back two weeks later. “Oh yeah; we got that part in.” Why didn’t you call me? “Oh uh, the parts department never told me it was in.” Yeah, okay. So I bring the car in again. They replace the part. Service tells me I’m good to go again. I sign the paperwork and get into my car. Warning light still on. Problem not fixed. Apparently the garage ordered the wrong part. I get the GM involved. The service manager assures me he will call me directly as soon as the right part is in. It’s been over two months. No phone call. I am going to the BBB with this issue immediately after I contact Bob Johnson corporate directly. I cannot in good faith recommend this dealership solely because of the horrendous hassle to which their service department will likely subject you.
Ellis was amazing and got my husband and I hooked up with exactly what we wanted in our price range. He really went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing experience! I will definitely be going back to Ellis in the future for any vehicle purchases!

(2011 Cadillac CTS). Let me just say, they have a Terrible service department from everything down to the service reps, the mechanics, and the service manager herself. Brought my vehicle here a month ago for a Stabilitrak and ABS warning lights on. In the process of also installing a new radio in the vehicle. I told the department that my wheel bearings were replaced in the rear of the vehicle and I believe that front ones were starting to go as well because my AWD function stopped operating as a result of the front wheels not spinning at the same speed as the rear wheels. I told them the codes that I pulled up on my Code Reader and they said they were going to do a diagnostic. Brought the vehicle in, sit there for two hours and ask for an update.... go back to the service rep, she says “oh, I thought you were gonna leave it here.” And I’m like no, when the heck did I say that? Then I go back to the waiting room for another hour..... then finally the car is pulled up and then they show me the report (if that’s what you want to call it). That mechanic had my vehicle for 3 hours and pulled up the exact same codes I did and they said they couldn’t diagnose anything else because they need more time. More time.... you gotta be kidding me. Then I asked them what the heck an i paying you $130 diagnostic fee for? You didn’t even diagnose anything. Proceeded to have an argument with the service manager and she was even more stupid than the mechanic. I was like what kind of service department are you guys, you got mechanics who dont know what they’re doing and a manager who has no interpersonal skills whatsoever. Save yourself the hassle and headache of these people. Go to your local mechanic if possible unless it’s a factory recall issue. I’ll be going to the BBB and calling they’re corporate office as well.
I saw a car I was interested in last night on the internet. This morning I drove to this dealership. I requested a test drive and within 5 minutes we were riding down the road. My salesmans name is Adam Powell. He answered all my questions and provided me the cars background. He was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and did not try to sell me anything. He merely assisted me in buying what I wanted. No pressure no thousand questions. He is not the typical car salesman and that is a breath of fresh air. Adam Powell is the guy to see if you know what you want and just need assistance purchasing your vehicle. He knows the vehicles and will easily answer your questions. Thank you FX Caprara.
0 stars would be a more accurate rating. Couldnt be more displeased with the customer service (or lack thereof). Initially, Ken the finance manager talked me into purchasing an extended warranty for my Dodge Ram. Before making my first payment I decided I wanted to cancel the warranty- so I spoke with Ken and after him trying vehemently to change my mind (so he could keep his commission Im sure) he assured me he would put the cancel notice in to the third party that holds the warranty. Here it is 3 months later and the third party who holds the warranty has not received any cancellation notice from the dealership. To make matters worse I have been calling Bob Johnsons for the past 2 weeks leaving messages for Ken the finance manager and other various managers. Not only do they never answer the phone but they dont return my messages. At this point I am ready to go to the BBB as I am paying out extra $$ every month in interest on this money that I am waiting to be refunded for the warranty that I asked to cancel 3 months ago. Im sure Ken is still making his extra commission $$$ on the warranty and is therefore dragging his heels on the cancellation while I pay extra every month- CROOK! Maybe this review will be enough to get a manager to call me back???
Employees were smoking outside in front of my 4 month old with a heart condition and went it was brought to attention that she was out there nothing was done about it so we had to sit in our car and wait to go in. We brought our Dodge in under warranty once before and it was “fixed” only for the check engine line to come back on a few weeks later, with the SAME issue and now suddenly they have found wires that have been chewed that they apparently “didn’t see” when fixing the exact same problem last time. And they want to charge $119/hr for labor to look at other wires under the engine, that should’ve been fixed LAST TIME. They’re a joke.
They dont pay their bills. Been waiting 6 months for $3,000. Youd think a company thats #1 in the country knew how to write a check.

Dont pay attention to reviews that were written months ago. The place was sold to Bob Johnson. Their service is awful and the salesmen dont know you as soon as you walk out the door. Take a look at the condition of the place and that will give you an idea of how the place runs.

They took all the necessary precautions when dealing with guests.My salesman Chris was absolutely wonderful. He kept me in the loop with everything happening with my vehicle and was so patient when I was having issues with insurance and my bank!The finance manager Ken was also wonderful, he helped me a lot when it came down to filling out my paperwork and getting me the perfect monthly payments!I would most definitely do business here again and will suggest to others in the future.

Jason is a patient person when dealing with a difficult customer who has very high standards to meet. I can say my husband and I are both are very happy and satisfied with our new purchase.

It is a great place with great vehicles. My concern is the fact that I have been trying to reach my sales manager and never get a call back from them. Please I recently purchase a truck but I was told that they will call me back to fix a problem on the truck whenever restriction lift up. It never happen. I need answer ASAP.
Only dealership I know that doesn’t answer there phone. Very unprofessional wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I don’t even understand how they are in business.

A.J our salesman was great, helpful and patient. He went above and beyond with getting information to our bank and with working with our schedule to get the vehicle to use. My only complaint was with the detail job (cleaning) of the vehicle where we purchased a used vehicle but it was new to us so it should have had more TLC. Also not sure how it passed the inspection on the breaks due to the were cutting into the rotors and need to be changed ASAP. But happy for the most part.

I bought a 2011 truck from here. Upon getting it home, two days later we found tout that it was leaking power steering fluid. It got worse so we called and they said we will look at it. Which would have cost me $109 for a diagnostics. Well that came back showing it was leaking because the lines and power steering rack were bad. They covered the lines free of charge. The power steering rack was going to be $700 plus dollars and said they wont cover the cost of that. By now its been 3 weeks after buying it.
I went in for an oil change and tune up. It took about 6 hours. The sensor started giving signals about a misfire so they started over again and now I cant reset my sensor for an oil change. The total ended up being $100 more than anticipated so I have to assume they charged me for their mistakes. The funny part: playing hide and seek to find my truck when it was finally time to leave. (Why dont they drive your truck back to the front where you left it?) Beware: I thought going to a jeep dealership was sensible but honestly guys, just choose a dealership in the area that you trust to handle your baby (truck). Definitely cant recommend, I wont be returning here for anything.
I had to have my 2017 Dodge Journey towed in due to bad gas I bought at a gas station. My fuel tank had to be dropped, drained and cleaned. Dry gas was added and the engine was observed to make sure no damage was caused by the gas. Johanna was super friendly. I mainly dealt with a gentleman though. Overall I was happy with the service. When I went to leave the check engine light was on and they cleared it in the spot for me.I gave only 4 stars though because even though it took a while to actually look at my car, they never called to really fill me in. I always had to call there. Just would have liked to been updated even if it was to simply say we didnt have time to look at your vehicle today, hope to let you know tomorrow type of thing.

The process was very customer focused. Our sales rep, AJ, was very knowledgeable of our different options, and found us vehicles quickly. The team worked very hard, and we were able to leave the same day from the dealership with both vehicles.
I was sold a vehicle that wouldnt pass inspection, spent three months trying to get them to go good and they sell me a truck with a bad transmission, a year later Im still trying to get them to go good on it, Mike perkins screwed me around for months do not buy from these guys

I had to get my oil changed in my Jeep. The staff was friendly, helpful and speedy. They kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle.
It was fast and quick there was no beating around the bush. AJ helped me pick out my Jeep and gave me other options if I was not happy with what I offered. When you go in just ask for AJ.
Bought vehicle thinking was still capreras have had multiple problems that have fought to get fixed. Last incident of repair vehicle sat over 2 weeks called the main location to get help and answers. Vehicle was serviced fix to ac that was in for the 3rd time. And wheel bearing problem that did not know I had. Now my vehicle sounds like a semi driving down the road instead of smooth and quiet as it did before going to the garage. So all in all I would say it was and still has been a rough experience. Only plus is that the repair department person Joanna tries to help. Call gm no return calls. Call the head person Frank no return calls makes doing business with a company hard when they lack communication.

Joanna was great. The loaner was much appreciated. I know it took longer than expected and short staffed. I had to bring back in the next day because the k shaft that was replaced had loose bolts. I had to bring in as it made huge clunking noise.I had to take it somewhere else needed to have all brakes replaced rotors calipers. It was said my brakes might feel bad when I drove it. They certainly were. They showed me the tie rids that were replaced by you. They were never greesed. Please check your vehicles before you loan them out my son discovered the back seat was not secured in. I realize these are tuff times and grateful you got me in. Other than these areas I am good. But it could have been a dangerous situation.
One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Unfortunately the time to buy came during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the dealership and sales staff were doing everything possible to continue operations as smoothly as they could.

I recently bought a used vehicle with what I thought was a bumper to bumper warranty. So throughout this winter I had low heat and no ac during the summer, I also needed wiper blades and a tire sensor. So it was taken in fo services the warranty didn’t cover anything. So the vehicle I have for less then a year cost me another $700 to fix. Then I go to pick it up after hours and they forgot to put new wiper blades on after they had taken old one off. I will be thinking twice when it comes to my next service.
I bought a NEW 2018 Dodge Journey from them a year and 3 months ago. Usually you get a spare key with a new vehicle. But anyways I’ve been calling for months trying to get a spare key. Every time I call they transfer me to the manager and it goes straight to voicemail, or they hang up before they even transfer me. Have yet to get a call back OR a key

Listened to my stories, laughed at my jokes, and concerned about my past car buying situations. He was very through in his explanations. Joe even called around when he heard I was interested in extended warranty and matched the competitors price. He was understanding of my financial situation and didn’t push a lot of extras on me when I said no.Overall, my experience has been outstanding. I had to return to the dealership for a couple follow-up things and everyone one was friendly and considerate. Some of the best customer service in the car industry I have ever had. TWICE now I have called for appointments and both times when I arrive, they say that they dont have me scheduled. The first time I had to wait nearly 3 hours for them to fix the tire valve. When I went up to the desk to ask how much longer, the service attendant had forgotten I was even there. Not to mention, they didnt put down a cover on my floor mats and they were covered in dirt and debris. The second time, they didnt ask which type of oil I wanted in my vehicle and of course put in the most expensive. I was only going here because of my Mopar contract but I will be cancelling my contract.Edit to add:We recently bought a vehicle there and our experience was night and day from the Service department! They had us in the vehicle we wanted that day without the usual car buying hassle. We got a wonderful deal on a fantastic car. That experience alone changed my mind on this place. If you are in the market for a vehicle, I highly recommend this place.

Just bought a new Gladiator last night from FX CDJR and had an all around great experience. Ive owned alot of Jeeps and asked alot of questions. Sales and service was nothing but happy and willing to answer them all PLUS some. They swapped over my wheels from my old Jeep to the new one and were nothing but helpful and willing to do so.
