I’d first like to thank Jason and Rob for building me a custom exhaust for my 99 Silverado, and yes they do custom exhaust work. I called and went to multiple shops asking if they could put dual exhaust on my truck and they all turned me down, I was very surprised when I called Midas and they said yes, Im very happy with the quality of materials and how they were installed, and they made sure I was happy with the work they did before they took it off the lift. All in all I’m very pleased with the work they did and the professional courtesy they had. I recommend this place for quality exhaust work.

Everyone there were as nice as possible, didn’t shame me for knowing nothing about cars, and they really went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe, got fixed in a timely manner, and was able to be driven like it was brand new! I’ve only gone there once so far, but I trust what they say and will definitely be back any time my car needs anything!

Ive brought my car as well as my wifes car into midas a couple of times since Ive moved up here and each time they have fixed the issues in an extremely timely and professional manner. I would 100% recommend.

Their work was impeccable I got to say that they know what theyre doing down there just at their prices are crazy like I said Im buying parts online for a third of what these Auto parts and these deal and these garages are charging $1,000 worth I get it for $300 online for the lifetime warranty and its worth it to buy an extra set just keep swapping them out when they go bad its crazy the prices theyre charging nowadays covids really affected everything

Took my car there about 5 months ago to get it inspected. I don’t know much about cars but did know my brakes were bad. They failed my inspection because of my rear brakes so naturally I made an appointment that week to get them fixed there. I was charged OVER 800 dollars for my rear brakes and rotors and this was a hard price with no discounts offered. Once again I know nothing about cars so didn’t know if this was a good deal or not. I am not getting my front brakes and rotors replaced at a different location and I was just charged 500 dollars. Would not recommend Midas to anyone unless money is of no concern to you

I recently visited the Watertown, NY repair shop on 3-10-21, to have my Lincoln MKZ diagnosed for front suspension noise from tires and mid-car. I was told that I needed to replace a front wheel hub assembly and a lower transmission torque strut. I specifically asked for them to do a full diagnostic on the front steering and suspension and was told these were the only issues and in the representatives own words everything else is good to go. I opted for only the hub assembly work because Lincolns are expensive to repair and the representative told me it was imperative to me using my vehicle, and paid $398.36 for the service. After getting my car back I had to return less than an hour later for metal on metal scraping coming from the tires. I was told by the representative that the new parts possibly had a defect and they would be replaced but due to it being half hour to close they would have to keep it overnight. The next morning I went and picked my car back up and once again in less than an hour I was back for wheel noise in the front. I was then told by the representative that the caliper they put back on was rubbing the edge of the rotor, so they adjusted it and shaved the edge of the rotor. I havent experienced any noises since, however, upon inspecting my vehicle two days later on 3-13-21, I noticed the following issues:*Driver side front rack and pinion boot is disconnected exposing the rod and leaking grease.*Passenger side control arm and ball joint boot is torn, leaking grease and covered in grime and was reconnected to the brand new hub hardware I just purchased.*Drive side front rotor has a massive groove in it from worn hardware.*Power steering reservoir has leaked all over everything under it.It was my understanding that when I requested a diagnostic that those issue would be noticed, mentioned to me, and quoted for remedy, however, this did not happen and I was left to be completely shocked when I visually inspected it myself. Under NYS law my vehicle wont even pass inspection in its current state and not only did these issues not get mentioned, they even hooked the new hub assembly hardware back up to a fairly damaged ball joint and control arm, so there is not a doubt it was noticed, as well as the power steering fluid being all over everything I assume would be quite noticeable as well. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the services I paid for, not only having to bring my car there 2 times in 2 days for issues involving their repairs, but to find theres even more issues that they failed to notice, or mentioned lto me so I am at least aware of the issues is insult to injury and completely unacceptable. I paid for a service thinking Id have some peace of mind that the vehicle was safe and mechanically sound for the time being, and now its sitting in my driveway until I find a way to have it serviced and be able to pass an inspection and be ok to drive like I had originally payed for. The only reason I gave two stars is I felt like the one guy was sincere about helping me out, but unfortunately I feel like whoever did the repairs is lacking serious quality skills and judgment as a mechanic. Based on my experience, and the mess I found after the fact, I would not recommend this company.I added pics below of the damaged parts that were overlooked.

I was able to get an appointment exactly when I needed it. I dropped it off and received a call within the hour as to what the problem was and after giving the go ahead the job was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Upon picking it up Rocky and the staff was very friendly and gave a full explanation of all work that was done. Excellent experience all around!

Theyve been really patient so far with us. They have my pilot right now. Even after they diagnosed it, they were patient with us and even gave us the code so we could search for the best deal to get it fixed. Will let you know how it went after we get our car back.

Rocky, Angela and the team were really professional and respectful. Rocky was really straight forward with all my questions and concerns. They told me it was gonna be a week from when I turned my car in to be done due to parts needed. Rocky told me hell do what he can to push parts to come earlier. Called next morning and told me my vehicle will be done by the afternoon. I was shocked. They took me in last minute and fixed my vehicle in less than 24 hours. Great shop and great team!!! Rocky was excellent! I expected actually a higher price for my van. I had an oil change, tune up and something else done that i can’t remember 😂 but i expected the charges to be a lot more. He was great and very knowledgeable about things when i asked.The front desk, i can’t for the life of me rennet name but she was awesome as well.I highly recommend this shop. I will be taking my cars back for the rest of the time we are here.

Since we moved to the area in 2017, we have been coming to Midas for all of our car needs and services, including regularly scheduled oil changes and safety inspections. The reason for this specific review was for this morning. My “check engine” light came on and I immediately called Midas to ask if they had an opening, as I know they are extremely busy, and Angela let me know I could bring it in right away. When we arrived, they brought my car into the garage almost instantly, where Rocky and Rob assessed the issue. They kept us updated every step of the way with what they were doing, what needed to be done, what they recommended, and the cost of it all. Rocky even offered a loaner car while we waited, but we were in and out in just a couple of hours. My car is running smoothly again, as they got to the root of the issue and fixed it. I’m so very grateful for honest, reliable, trustworthy, upfront mechanics and the business that I do with Midas, especially with Rocky and Christian.

I came to midas because my Ford Escape has been making a loud squeaking sound for months after I got my rotors and brakes changed. I had gone to some other place and they didn’t fix the sound or even know what it was. When I came to Midas the guy named Rocky showed me what was the cause and also told me other things I needed to replace soon. He was very cool and knew what he was doing. I will definitely come back for any car services in the future I may need.

Be weary of this business. Deceptive business practices. We had both our front catalytic converters fixed here. They asked me if I wanted to have them change my spark plugs. I said no, I can do it. Then three days after they did the work my car was doing the same thing it was when i dropped it off. I called midas and they said my warranty on my catalytic converters was voided because I hadnt changed the spark plugs. The manager never mentioned that to me at the time he asked if I wanted them to change the plugs. Being frustrated, I took the pilot to honda during a diagnostic check and they dropped the exhaust and the rearmost cat was clogged. Honda stated their was no reason Midas didnt see this when they replaced my front two, and never should have allowed me to take my car without replacing this cat. Honda stated the spark plug claim and voiding my catalytic warranty was bogus, since it had absolutly nothing to do with the rearmost cat being clogged. I honesly feel like this manager at this Midas location is dirty and ripping people off. Now I have to see if my warranty is good, since this Midas obviously has no idea what their talking about. Plus with the rising cost or catalytic converters, I asked for my old parts back and was given about 5 different excuses why i may not be able too. I told them if there was a core charge that was fine. But i still got nothing but a song and dance from the employee. Finally I said sir, either give them to me if their isnt a core charge, or keep them if there is. He said ok. Then when I picked up my car I had to insist to get my old parta back again. I would like a call from the owner on how to make this right.

I made the appointment request the day before when they were closed and it was accepted after they opened Monday morning. Rocky was super helpful & everyone else was really nice too. I was allowed into the garage to see exactly what they would be repairing and then offered two options of quotes (one for what was absolutely necessary and one for everything that would eventually need to get done). Overall I left happy & would go back if I had more problems with my car.

The staff are very friendly and honest. I feel like I am well informed about what my car needs and what is urgent verses what is not so I am making an informed decision about my vehicles needs.

We took our car to Midas after another company tried to charge us almost $2000 which included work we were pretty sure we didnt need. Midas confirmed that the extra work was unnecessary, and we ended up saving almost $600. The work was professionally done, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable and unpadded.

I used Midas to get my vehicle inspected, and I was in and out within 20 minutes! They were very quick, efficient, and charged a reasonable price.

This is my third time coming to the MIDAS shop, and each time they have never failed to provide exquisite customer service and shop services. Their scheduling availability and turn-around times are quicker than most shops in the area. On top of that, they have always gone above and beyond to make sure my vehicles are taken care of. I have switched most of my vehicle servicing, for both vehicles, to the MIDAS shop in Watertown and highly recommend others do the same.

I gave a 3 stars because I took my 2009 Toyota Corolla today for an inspection but turned out the mechanic told me my brake pads are worn out and the left pins are frozen hence my vehicle failed the inspection.😭💔 In order to get a pass, I have to get it replaced and the total with tax is about $430!😳😱 I need a pass to get the car registration for 2020 ~ 2021. Im skeptical about the cost and definitely will get a second opinion. Mr.Christians courtesy and friendliness is appreciated.

We ran into car troubles while visiting for a few days from Canada. It turned out to be a faulty alternator. On a very busy Friday, we stopped and asked if it was possible to help us out. No problem! Im a retired disabled man from Colorado visiting my son In Watertown NY. My car developed a rhythmic thump in the drivers side front wheel and I was very concerned about driving it 1900 miles back to Colorado. The people here got it checked out VERY quickly and it turned out to be a minor adjustment which they did immediately and got me back on the road safely. Top notch service and the friendliest people you could hope to do business with! Highly recommended!

Ive been bringing my vehicle here since I moved to the area over a year ago and the guys have been great. Ive lived all over the US and dealt with shops all along the way and these guys have been top notch. Theyre honest and they work hard to get people in ASAP and havent pushed unnecessary parts/fixes at all, and have been willing to tell me how to fix things myself at a lower cost when possible.

Anytime I have an issue with my car theyre always the first people I call. They always help me out, even if they dont have time, they make the time to check it out. Theyre always so nice and help you any way they can. Definitely dont plan on taking my car anywhere else anytime soon.

My experience at Midas in Watertown was overall great. The team there is very professional and experts at what they do. I originally came in for my brakes and along with that was able to get my A/C fixed as well. Being in the army makes me tight on time but they worked with me so I appreciate that. Went down to gace a van looked at and get an oil change done. Ended up paying 250+ to have them break off my dipstick inside the tube and less than 250miles after the oil change the oil lights vack on. Save money and just go to morno auto free lookover than actually goes in depth and much cheaper. The golden toch Midas from my experience is not worth much

Going here for 10 years now and never had a complaint, rocky should grow some hair, but yeah good people, service is the best around and the prices are great.

I chose this shop due to the reputation I read online. New to the area and put my faith in that. I was not disappointed, as they listened to the issue I was having with my Mazda CX-5. Instead of ignoring it (like most shops do) they used it as a diagnostic tool, and quickly found the issue which was a plugged cabin filter. Replaced it and I was on my way with temperature control in my car again, within 30 minutes. Not overpriced, honest, and friendly techs. Would highly recommend and I will be a repeat customer. Rocky and team, keep up the good work. It is noticed and appreciated!

Fast, Friendly & Professional service that will not try to take advantage of a costumers lack of knowledge. The staff is willing to show and explain what repairs need to be done. This is hands down the best garage around. They are up front about the time its going to take to make repairs or change your oil. Im usually in and out in a very reasonable amount of time.

Great customer service. Read reviews for a few places before I took my car in for service. Took me in the back with the car taken apart to show me what they measured for breaks and rotators and what they suggested. Worked on the price with me and was done within the hour. Highly recommend they don’t hassle you with random work and are straightforward with prices.

Brought my car in for an oil change 2 years ago after moving up to the North Country and have returned for a numerous of jobs to include Lampsets replaced,tie rods, brakes and rotors replaced. I recommend them for reasonable prices, guaranteed service warranty. Great customer service and clean facility.

Absolutely excellent service. They have looked at our car and diagnosed it for free several times and never pressure you to fix it. They are honest, quick, and polite. A GREAT place to trust for fixing your car.

I was charged 2 hours for 1 hour 15 minutes, they said that they were going to replace an expansion piece that was leaking on my exhaust, instead they welded a solid piece of pipe inside the expansion piece and painted the outside so it would look like a new piece. Still got charged $40.00 for the part. Its called being ripped off.. Not happy, will not be back.

In the past 3 days I have brought my car in to midas twice for basic upkeep care, now most people would leave a sour review for that fact, not me. I am only giving 4 stars because I had to come back but I have been treated with the utmost respect and understanding. Every step of the way I have been informed of what they are doing, what they have found, how they would go about fixing it and cost. Friendly, understanding, knowledge, affordable and everything is done in a timely manner. What more can you ask for?

We were traveling from Ottawa Ontario to a convention in Newburgh NY when our recently serviced brakes started to make terrible noises.The owner overheard our conversation with the receptionist and within a few minutes, altho the shop was busy, he personally checked everything and confirmed that we were safe. He felt that the new brakes hadn’t been “broken in” yet. He was right as the noises stopped within a couple of hours.He was most gracious and helpful and would not accept any payment. We are pleased to recommend his shop very highly.

Best staff around, without a doubt. Went in with what I thought was a small problem, which was actually a much larger problem. Thankfully the experienced and knowledgeable staff identified the real extent of issues at hand and walked me through everything, even taking the time to work out payment options.
