Really nice classical diner with the classical diner theme. Plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors; your choice. Soo many menu items to choose from! Short wait to be seated. Service is quick and very catered to what you want* Cindy was very accommodating and pleasant. Food was great, just as expected.
Great food, cute little old style diner. Our waitress was really sweet, helpful (and an absolute riot). I had a waffle (which was par for the course), a turkey club (well cooked but the sourdough was a bit crisp for my taste) and a lime rickey (which was fantastic). Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area for breakfast.
Food, staff, and experience is always excellent. Though I like to travel around to find great alternatives, I always end up coming back too the Deluxe Town Diner because its just that good! O yea, and their lunch and dinner is good too!
Pretty okay. A couple vegan options. Cozy.
Nice and little place to buy eateries. Staff is good and friendly. If you are going to Minute Man national park, maje sure to buy water, chips and other snacks from here.
Great food, prices AND customer service. We will be back!!
This diner is the best food quality around Watertown. We went there for dinner it was so good we went for breakfast the next day! We ordered the turkey, roasted chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, beets for dinner. Super high quality and satisfying. Then for breakfast the next day we both got the hungry man special. 2 eggs, toast, pancakes, and greens. Which was also super filling and delicious. With each you get coffee or a pot of tea. I ordered the English breakfast tea Carmel and my husband got coffee. Yum! Must try if you are in the area!
Dined here for brunch with some of my cohort in Saturday. It time connecting and catching up. As for Deluxe Diner, it was lovely. The food was Quality and delicious. When in Watertown, I highly recommend putting this place on your list.
Boy, was it busy around 1:00 on a Sunday! But we didnt have to wait for a seat at the counter and had two fabulous breakfasts. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, real syrup, and the home fries and sausage patties were terrific. DEFINITELY COMING BACK!
Food was okay and the waitresses were really friendly but our waitress forgot about our order then tried to tell us something else happened. When the manager brought out both our plates neither him or the waitress apologized for the 45 min for 2 basic breakfast dishes.A salad was also never brought out and took us saying we didnt want to be charged for the wrong side that for them to notice it. Very disappointed as it it looked like a great place.
Went there for dinner. Loved the decor. I got the baked haddock and my friend got the meatloaf. Both were good and reasonably priced. Will be back
Really extensive diner menu, high quality delicious food, and polite efficient service. Outside seating as needed on the curved sidewalk in front. Will be back!
My Mum and I went there for brunch several days ago, because the original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. They offer outdoor seating, and we took them up on it. It ended up a little loud (due to Mt.Auburn St. being right there), but expected.I ordered blueberry pancakes and Mum - a breakfast sandwich. My pancakes were delicious! And my Mother liked her sandwich. Not to mention (calling all the french toast lovers),they offer challah french toast... which always tastes amazing!Service was fine, nothing over the top memorable, but it was not bad/ terrible.Growing up in Watertown, and witnessing this diner change over the years has been fun!All in all, if youre looking for a good, tasty brunch at reasonable prices, Deluxe Town Diner is a great option.
Delicious! Went here on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised. It has a vintage vibe/decor. The staff was super friendly, they have a large menu! Even loose leaf tea in a mini kettle, which I loved to see. My boyfriend got the chorizo breakfast wrap with a side of corned beef hash (which was excellent, not too salty). so got the greek omelet with light rye toast. Would definitely recommend.
Ive been coming here with family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, bandmates, coworkers, and anyone I can convince for decades, and have never had a bad experience. The corned beef hash is dangerously good, and the staff are tough as nails and beyond awesome. One of the most authentic diners I have ever been to, and Ill continue to visit as long as Im in MASS. Thank you for all the amazing breakfasts!
Food was good service was slow and the place wasn’t busy ..A waiter/waitress has to do only a few things to make it cool don’t drop the ball making it wrong. I still tipped 30% but come on let’s do the job.See ya next month maybe 🤔
Just stopped in for a quick bite. One of the best burgers Ive ever had, served a good salad, coleslaw and a pickle. Plus pie and coffee. Inexpensive, too! Finest kind.
My favorite diner in the area! The food is great and they have really stepped up their game in many areas since the pandemic started to wind down. Get the Johnny cakes!
We had a great dinner. Our server was friendly and helpful. Huge portions, so count on leftovers. Parking is a little tricky, so wear your walking shoes.
Great food. Great vibe. All the time. They can do Bfast, Lunch, Dinner equally well with lots of variety and quality. My #1 go-to local place.
Food was amazing! I ended up ordering pastrami and eggs thinking it was a sandwhich. They were able to make it on the fly to what i wanted and came out great! Amazing service and coffee is perfectly roasted.
Beautiful diner and people are very nice. Food was great especially the gluten free pancakes. Parking was also easy.
Great staff and the food was excellent! Try the Colassol Breakfast! Curbside dining was really nice too.
All day breakfast. Good diner menu. Nice staff.
I enjoyed meatloaf service perfevt. Wsitressvery nice Ill come sgain
Food is standard, its a bit on the expensive side for what it offers, and the cleaning crew needs to be fired. We went on a Saturday morning before 8 am. We were seated immediately and service was friendly and prompt. Not sure why with a floor full of open tables they chose to seat us at possibly the worst table in the restaurant other than we were a 2 top and by squeezing in the corner they were leaving themselves options for larger parties. As you can see from the photos attached cleaning is not a priority for this restaurant. The area we were seated in was caked with dust and it was obvious they didnt clean up spills on the regular. For the fire conscious group - notice that the state mandated fire extinguisher cannot be reached by the service side of the counter where it is needed. On the positive side - the food was good. They claim to have 6 types of pancakes and they really do. Not 6 flavors/toppings, but 6 actual KINDS of pancakes. Nothing negative to say about that. Our food came out hot fresh and timely. Had I not seen the layers of dust and fallen food left in nomans land, Im not sure I would have had much negative to say.
The attendant was in a hurry, she didnt give me the necessary help. Could be better
Pancakes are good, but everything else is woefully underseasoned and bland. Especially the potatoes. Make sure your table has salt, youre gonna need it.Wait staff was nice though and didnt mind us having a dog under the table outside.
Its just a trusty and cozy neighborhood spot. I usually just stick with the breakfast items.I live in the area and have been going here for the past 5 years.
Delicious! The corned beef hash is divine, the potato pancakes delish, excellent coffee and friendly service.Clean bathrooms too.
The place is a dump food was terrible bad service and it cost me over$30. For me and my five year old grandson I asked for pouched eggs and got two fried eggs worst break fast I ever got never again.
Excellent as always. The order was not correct when it arrived, and the server didnt find out until the end of the meal (not her fault; the wrong item was eaten last).
Who would have thought that this little ole diner throwback from the 50s and 60s would have such a vast variety and the best food ever? Not me. But this very true if the Deluxe Town Diner! So cute. So good. Such nice people! I love this place! The pancakes are great. I had a NY style Ruben sandwich with yummy fries that I think were home made! Fantastic!!
Excellent place to visit waitress where good and friendly 😀 👍
Great Diner just like we were in NJ. Good food, nice venue.
Very good food and service.
Awesome food, clean tables and really nice folks serving and hosting the customers. I was especially impressed with the Eggs Benedict.[M.P.]
Cutest little diner ever! Excellent service! No mask required.
Valerie did us right. What an angel.Great food.
Im a huge fan of diners and have been to basically every diner in the Allston area, and this is by far the best one Ive been to EVER, including all the ones Ive been to in New York and Rhode Island. The Patty Melt is so beautifully simple and delicious, you can taste each individual ingredient. This place is a genuine GEM and I hope theyre around forever
Place was very good...order wasnt right but the service helped with that...a little pricey for me though so me being a budget type I wont be back sorry guys
Best place everFrom the moment I entered I already told myself this is 5 starsLove the atmosphere of it the sit and it’s like historical place
Absolutely stellar, amazing food great prices awesome service
Cute little spot. Stopped by for a quick bit and the service was great. Waitress was friendly. Food was good. Nothing to complain abouy.
Food was fantastic. Our waitress Valerie was not only friendly but very attentive.
Best diner in the greater Boston area
LOVE THIS PLACE. I literally come here from Boston just to get the Blue Cornmeal Pancakes. You cant find them anywhere else! Honestly this diner has so many things on the menu that you cant find that every visit can be an adventure. My boyfriend loved it. Not to mention the perks of all day breakfast and a retro train car to ride ~
Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Exactly what you want from a greasy spoon!
During the pandemic had a delightful late lunch outside this week. A hot cup of herb tea made me comfy cozy and my eggs benedict with spinach was plentiful and yummy. Great food, great service and great prices. Thanks for hanging in there. I will be there again soon.
Been coming here for years - the food is always amazing. Try the Hungry Person.
Great food and great team. Will 100% be back here.
Great place for relaxed family meals. Good food, fare prices and nice staff. Thats all it takes really.
Food was excellent, server was attentive and friendly..
Old school diner. Great quality
Down to earth dinner in a funky building, with a huge menu serving classics and much more, including mediterranean dishes.
They are doing take out and some inside seating as well as outside seating even though it is chilly outside. The sun warms the outside seats though. Inside, the booths have plexiglass partitions. Same quality dinner food as before. Keep spring our restaurants!
They make any meal delicious!
Corn Beef Hash and sweet potato waffles was amazing! Such a nice staff. Definitely would recommend to others.
Had the BLT sandwich on wheat toast. Really good place to dine in and chat while enjoying a good meal. Pretty cool setting.
Great classic diner!!! Amazing pancakes! Soy sausage available. Breakfast and more all day!
This place is lovely! Ive been there a number of times and I havent had a bad experience yet. The diner aesthetic is quirky in a good way and the food is great.
Incredible dining experience. Service was amazing, friendly, and fast. The food (I had a falafel wrap) and milkshake were very tasty. Great interior. Definitely coming back!
My absolute favorite diner, the food covers a wide range, and all of it is cooked amazingly well, perfectly cooked fried green tomatoes, homemade pies, good coffee, a craft beer and wine menu, and a really awesome staff
I love the pancakes...kept coming back..best pancakes in town
Fantastic place. Great service. Excellent food. Good value. We ate outside and loved it.
Perhaps some of it is nostalgia, but this was my dads favorite haunt. Came here with my grandmother when I would visit the city of Boston and I must say, although the tables and seats are new, the old soul of this place is still here. The food is good too so that is a plus.
Deluxe is a magical place that is a wonderful throwback while also being a fantastic food destination in Watertown.Their menu is large but they hit on all cylinders across it.
Not on my diet anymore. Goods eats for sure
Nice diner food!
Basic diner food but its great! Would recommend trying it out.I have to eat gluten free and they have gf bread and pancakes. The staff is great about the gf thing and Ive never been sick eating there.
Best Corned Beef hash around. Get it in the omelette. Great steak tips and turkey tips. Love the salads. Its all good. Delicious pancakes, burgers, wraps. Excellent wait staff too.
Excellent food. Yummy quinoa, green beans and sesame oil. Other foods such as pancakes with blue berries are my favorite. We ate inside last night, plenty of space between booths with plexiglass dividers.
Had a great breakfast, nice old fashioned diner.
Super place to meet and chat with coworkers. i will be back with my relatives. the place has an awesome feel to it. food is similar to a place in san francisco i liked.
Delicious coffee, super small town diner feel, and food is spectacular. Its a little bit pricey but you expect that in the outer Boston area, and its one of the only places still serving breakfast late in the day. Staff are super nice and all the food has that home-cooked-meal feeling. Decent sized portions for the price too.
PROSI got the cheeseburger club on sour dough and it was great! Fries were very good but not for those that dont like pepper. Even the pickles were good and plentiful. Price was reasonable. Service good and fast.CONSWanted to give them a 5 star rating but was tempted to give it a 3 as on an 18 degree night that was already cold... the place couldnt have been more then 50 degrees. Most customers were wearing their winter coats zipped up. Maybe it was where I was sitting or a heat problem so I split the difference and gave them 4 stars.
Great spot!
Great food and staff.
The service and food both were very good. Not too expensive either.
Great diner atmosphere. Very comforting place.
Great staff great service. Yummy comfort food
Consistently good food
Such a fun atmosphere. lively and interesting decor. Owner is pleasant and seems truly appreciative of patrons as he walked around place and greeted so many by first name. oh, and food is very good too!
