Love this place! I come here to get cat food all the time, but I wind up leaving with so much more! This store is one of them hidden gems. It has everything! And usually for dirt cheap. And the people are what you picture SD should be. Like, I lost my wallet in the parking lot, and a woman who worked at the store, came and found me, thats how I realized I lost it. Again thank you so much to the person who returned it and thank you to the employee who searched me out.

Stopped here for fishing stuff and wasnt let down. I also got to do some shopping. They have a good variety of just about everything!

This a good Runnings store. Larger than the Runnings in Milbank. The staff are knowledgeable. No longer any covid precautions; however,so no cashiers are wearing masks. No staff and no customers were masked. I did not ask if curbside pick up was still available because I wanted to browse the current inventory for discounts,etc.

Worst runnings for sporting goods in all of SD. Scheels in Sioux Falls has thousands of shells for rifles, and pistols as well as every other runnings, except this one. The archery section has been almost completely bare for 2 years, compared to what it used to be. The hunting clothing is also very poor. All-around the sporting goods section is pathetic and I think it’s because of the manager running the store.

Empty shelves, boxes in aisles, staff is poor at best. slow and very little knowledge about location of products

It reminds me of a Kmart (when it was going out of business) just with tools and sporting goods. They have decent stuff but you gotta hunt for a while to find what you want.

They have good stuff and enough of it, but I went midday on a Sunday and stood in line for 20 minutes tp buy one thing. Only two lanes were open. You need more people checking out during busy hours.

I love how they allow our furry family member come in to shop with us! Our fur baby knows exactly where her isle is located the moment we step in. Friendly and helpful staff too! Fur baby gets treats at checkout too!

The staff is always making incredible recommendations and are always ready to help, in and out then back in because I forgot dog food which is mostly high grade.

Good place to buy farm stuff, animal stuff an other stuff as well.

Employees said they had 9mm ammo but the department Mgr wont put it out,they said had several cases in back, cashier told us the guy has it in back for his friends...maybe they need to get rid of him and put someone with customer service for all not just his buddies...will be calling corporate on this.

Just like their orange competition, if they dont have it, you dont need it.

I was so excited the greenhouse had exactly the flowers I was looking for.

This store is one of many trying to satisfy America for ammunition. I believe I satisfied some of my ammo needs here For that I recommend shopping here

Clean, good customer service (though at the guns/ammo area they need to have a bell or something so they can send an employee to assist), and they have great prices!

Almost everything you need under one roof (except for groceries!). Love their clothing selection and their hardware department. Very friendly and helpful staff! They treat you like family!

All around good farm and fleet option. A little of everything is touched on for sale. While most employees are somewhat knowledgeable would be nice to have trained experienced sales staff in specific areas.

They have some amazing stuff! Looking for bee keeping supplies, they have it. Looking for 1 bolt, they have it. Looking for boots or hats,they have that. John Deere toys, yep. Horse bedding, yep. Great selection of cat and dog food. It is an amazing store.

Coming from a place where we strive for amazing customer service and employee communication, I felt bad for an employee that was looking for help and what I’m guessing was higher up was publicly rude to the co-worker who was asking for help and had no desire to help the employee or me. I can say say I was passed on to someone else who was very kind and able to help me, but that rude encounter stuck. On the bright side, have been to runnings a couple times for pet supplies and I love their selections!!

Called to see if they had chicks in yet and the guy that answered the phone said they came in a few days ago. So we drove all the way to town. Walked the whole store did not see them so went up front and asked. Gal said they would not be in for at least another week. When I said I called earlier and a guy said they were in already she just kinda laughed, said not yet, and walked away. Guess we will be buying our chicks from Tractor Supply this year.

Today. June 29th I went into runnings in Watertown sd. To find out the female manager was very rude. And when the main male manager came he was 2. All I was trying to do was exchange my new 20v dewalt chainsaw. That was 68 days old because it was leaking chain oil out of a couple plastic areas. Which it shouldnt of been. There was a 90 day instore return policy on it if something happened. Or if u dont like it. So I tried to exchange it and they wouldnt let me. Cause they said it was to close to 90 days. But there was still 22 days until I hit 90 days. If I was a day or 2 before 90 with no actual reason I could see them saying no. So they kinda made me believe that there 90 return policy was a lie. Would give zero stars if I could

Excellent store!

Staff doesnt mask. Made a call first to see if they had what I was looking for, told they did. When I got there they didnt, made a special trip to not have what they said they did.

Im looking for a paddle board as a gift the end of Feb. The member in sporting goods was a little helpful. Stating they had some outside. So I will go in and take a look. Im sure they will be helpful.

Runnimgs is like a fleet farm and cabelas got together and had a glorious child. I would call it a mans toy store but my girlfriend loved it too and prices were awesome.

The head store manager has no idea what she is doing when it comes to management, customer service, leadership, and friendliness. She is very rude to customers and I will never shop here again after my experience. I will always send my customers to any other store in town to get what they need now after how she treated me. Runnings has lost my business forever all because they have the wrong person running their store. She has no interest in helping the customers and will answer all questions you have as snobby or rude as possible. Customer service and satisfaction is key when running a successful business but she doesnt know what that even means. I wouldnt still be in business with my store today if I treated my customers the way she does. Dont shop here unless you enjoy getting treated like dirt.

Surprised they didnt have Levis on the website. Luckily I went to check out what they actually had and low and behold they had Levis jeans. Bought 2 pair. 501 jeans were 40$, I think thats like 20 cheaper than anywhere else.
