Ive used this Uhaul facility several times for truck rental with zero issues. However, on this most recent use, I reserved 3 u-boxes for a cross-country move. From the second the boxes returned to the center with my things in them, Ive had numerous issues. Only 2 of my 3 boxes have shown up on any documentation Ive been provided as well as on the Uhaul website. My shipment date was changed 6 times with zero notice to me or updates on what was happening, and now my boxes show as in storage rather than being prepped for shipment. I have been calling the center every hour for 6 days now with zero answer. Ive finally gotten through to corporate but they couldnt give me any answers on what is happening with my boxes, only that they are waiting for shipment. Im not really one to leave reviews but honestly Im just hoping maybe leaving one will prompt someone from Watertown to actually get in touch with me since Im no longer in the state.

Wish I could give 0 stars honestly, I sat on hold with this location for almost 40 minutes this morning. I tried to do the online check in and nothing is working and I cant talk to anyone. I dont understand how uhaul is always a pain to work with, different locations, different states, always a miserable experience.

10/10 would NOT recommend this location! I had an 11am reservation to get a hitch installed and was told it would take 2 hrs max. Called after an hr and a half to get an update and was told they are working on it and was almost done. Called at 1:10 to see if i could pick up my car and was rudely told no they are working on my car and couldnt give me an estimated time when they would be finished for me to call back in 20 minutes. I get there at 1:30 and my car had not even been moved from where I left it. I asked to pick up my car and they hand me my keys without even explaining anything so i asked if i could know why my car was not handled and the excuse was the guy to do my car did not get there until 11...

Honestly go with a different company, or refuse to use this U-Haul. We had an absolutely terrible experience with them. If you have no choice but to go through Watertown U-haul, then take measures to inspect the vehicle yourself, thoroughly. Or you might just be stranded halfway to your destination for a while. I only gave 1 star because I could not rate any lower. They seem to take 2 hours to watch 60 minutes. The equipment there was filthy, and the lights would not even work. Just a waste of time.....

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Made a reservation to get a hitch installed on my car. Was told it would take a couple hours, dropped it off at noon. 5pm, still not done. I got dropped off there at 5pm after work and was told 20 more minutes. One hour 45 minutes later a guy comes out and says its done. It was dark. The next day I notice wires hanging down under my vehicle that werent there before. They were unsecured. I tried to contact the facility for 3 days, no response. Literally, no one answered the phone. Finally called corporate and made a complaint. To top it off, I drive a rav 4. He has the wires coming up out of the trunk inside the vehicle where the spare tire is stored, not underneath the vehicle. $400 for this.

Cheap rental, just over $100 for the mid size truck and about 50 miles. Friendly, helpful staff were accommodating. Great experience.

I have worked with Scott and his team for personal moving and storage as well as through work. In all aspects they were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help me out even when mistakes were made on our end. The storage units are clean and secure. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Hannah and her staff at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Watertown were fantastic. When I returned my truck I had rented on December 31st from another location here, they were very professional and helpful. Way to go!

DONT USE UHAUL....no matter how far in advance you make your reservation dont expect a truck to be available. Res made 2 weeks in advance notified less than 24hrs to an out of state move that no truck was available for 80 miles, res cancelled. No help, no recourse, no solution...their oversight cost us literally $1-1.5k in additional expenses, plane reservations, & other cancellations. Use Penske instead, guaranteed Res, better truck and way better customer service...yes they might be more expensive but when planning an already stressful & expense move, you dont need the aggregated expense and trouble of a last minute cancellation...

I reserved 2 U-Boxes online for my move on July 11th to be delivered on July 30th. Based on the order form, I should have been contacted about delivery times in advance, but wasnt. Additionally when I called this location (and was directed to a customer service line) they had no record of my order. It took 4 phone calls to finally learn that they should have arrived by noon but nobody could find them. After being told to contact the driver personally, he said that the store had run out of U-Boxes over the weekend...but clearly no one thought to contact those with pending reservations. He also stated that he wasnt aware there WAS a reservation made, so he was surprised.They offered a truck rental that I could pick up from Canton (that I was charged for that day, with the contract for U-Boxes still valid) instead but it isnt the same experience, nor what I planned or asked for for this cross-country move.Why offer to make reservations if you wont check them and cant keep them? The irresponsibility of this store almost put my family and our belongings stuck on the street, trying to find another way to move over 800 miles in 36 hours.

Made reservations for a 20 truck and trailer to move to Virginia.... Received a call less than 24 hours before pick up saying I was hoping something would become available but we just dont have anything. ARE YOU KIDDING?! How about calling me when I made the reservation to let me know something might not be available instead of waiting the day before!?!

I had a alot of aggregation trying to get a truck and saying it was available then being called to say it was not available.. It all worked out woth there resolution center however it was a hassle.

Just dont. Go somewhere else.
